On this website you register enter your information and then when you go and try to get the information for the reverse lookup it keeps putting you back into the login mode. they refused to delete my information and only disable my account from their side. they said their is no way for me to delete it on my own. they said they had to keep the credit card on record and my information for tax purposes when I told them I know you can no do it. if I am not a customer you can not use me for tax purposes and you do not use someone's information especially their credit card for tax purposes. then she said oh we just cant delete the information from our files our computer wont let us.

If you select a promotional price on the Intelius website, you will also receive a free 7 day trial of Identity Protect. After the 7 day trial, it will convert to a regular subscription and bill out at $19.95 monthly.

However, there’s no obligation. If you determine within the 7 day trial that you no longer want Identity Protect, you can cancel your service anytime, online or over the phone with a customer support representative.

Please call 888-445-2727 Monday to Friday from 5am to 8pm and Saturday from 6am to 4:30pm. We will be more than happy to assist you with your account.

Unfortunately our call center was closed on 11/23/2010 due to a snow storm.

I'm thinking that the credit card companies may be in on this somehow, and here's why. After speaking to 5 reps at my credit card company disputing the charges, my CC company transferred me back to Value Max (or Value Club) and then they (Value Ckub)proceeded to tell me that all charges would be refunded. This was approximately 20 minutes after I previously called Value Club and they said they could only authorize one month fee - or $19.95. It's a pain, but if you call your company - I'm thinking you will probably also get your entire amound refunded.

Maybe if you you weren't so dumb you could handle making phone calls to help your family. It amazes me how lazy you are. Just how hard is it for you to pick up the phone. Heck for that matter you can't handle looking up information on the internet with your computor. Can you even write a simple letter? Can you even read! I always wondered about why I always had to help out--I was told that you could not handle doing what needed to be done. So what is the deal, are you to lazy or is the fact that your stupid? Or is it that you just dont want to help. Lets face it Nancy you cant handle doing the right thing. I know I can.

Please credit back my account for the non authorized subscription of $19.95. In Feb. I cancelled anything
realted to Intelius and no charges where to be made. If you need my cancellation confirmation number

I see I am not the only one that this un know 19.95 dollar a month false charge. I finally descoverd it today, , , , 160 dollars later. I called my credit card company up and complained. Americanexpress is looking into the fraud. I would like to know what else we can do about this company. They need to be taken down, and I will help in anyway. Any info would be apreciated.

You have taking money out of my account and I never autherized NOT ONCE i WANT IT STOPPED NOW AND MY MONEY BACK.

I HAVE TALKED TO MY BANK AND I CAN TAKE OTHER MATTERS.

EVEN ON THIS WEB PAGE THERE IS A SITE THAT I CAN TALK TO A LAWYER.

DO I NEED TO DO JUST THAT

THERE IS ONE CHARG FOR 19.95, ONE FOR 44.96 AND ONE FOR 8.90.

Discontinue these charges now. I don't want any services from your scamming outfit. I never wanted any however, I'm sure somehow you squeezed this crap in some small print.

I better get a confirmation on the cancellation before any more money is deducted from my account or I will be speaking to my lawyer.

I was also scammed by Intelius. I tried to use the service for a 1 time search for 19.95 and now they are withdrawing from my account a 19.95 subscription fee. Not to mention I recieved NO info on the person I was inquiring on.

I have held for 20 min trying to contact customer service and when I tried to contact custserv@intelius.com I was informed there was no such web site.

I have been trying to cancel my membership with Intelius and want it done immediately as I thought I had cancelled from the start and I keep getting charged every month...totally unacceptable! I hope this can be resolved right away.

I'm having the exact same problem! All I did was accept a collect call from AT&T and paid AT&T. Intellius got my ATM # from them somehow. Then they gave it to a company called Valuemax (Valuemax told me they got it from Intellius). I'm being charged $19.95 by BOTH of them once a month. I
'm working with my bank on this. I never heard of Intellius until it was on my AT&T bill. I spoke with someone at AT&T's fraud division, but they said I had to speak to my bank and that THEY had to contact AT&T. I have no idea if they did or not. Yesterday I got a letter from my bank (Bank of America) and they said they couldn't determine that there were any unauthorised debts fom my account. I'm hot! Someone should stop these people!

They charged my account 19.95 when I had not authorized anyone to use my debit card, had to pay $26.00 to have my card reissued because of another piggyback from their site valuemax also tried to charge me $19.95 also without authorization.. Waited on phone for over 20 minutes to talk to some one from intelius/called my bank have to go in and fill out papers now against intelius to get my own money back. Mona Hackney

I was charged $90.00 for a simple backround check with gave me very little information and only let me use one state. I was very disappointed and upset that I spent all that money for little info. was led to believe that I could get all the information on this person but they lied and didn't give me much at all. I want my hard earned money back from this internet scam!

I subscribed for one time only to search my old lost fried for $9.95. and now they started charging me $19.95 every 13th of the month since 1-13-09 . I did not ask for another subsription. How can i cancl this and really dificult to contact them. Please Help...

My debit card is being charged everyday a different amount. For what, I don't know. Because I did a one time purchase and now they're charging me a lifetime for the BS info the was released. Yes...I have found that there are names that appear that are not trully at the place listed. My name, for example, shows up in Northern Jersey and I know for a fact there is nobody there with that name. Any ideas out there

In March 2009 I ordered a one time investigational search of an individual for $19.95. Since that time I have been charged $19.95
each month on my credit card bill for a INTELIUS subscription that
I never ordered and certainly did not agree to.

Exactly the same happend to me. I also wanted to lookup the address of a person and for that had to create an account. After about 6 months, I checked my credit card report and see charges every month for $20. In total this makes over $100. This is a complete joke! This is the same as stealing money. They should be sued immediately!

I signed up unwittingly for a subscription for which I did not authorize. I signed up per the Intelius employee for one address search at discounted rate of 5.90 and they signed me up for year subscription which they will not refund. ALso signed me up for 24 home secure program at [protected], so be careful. 24 home secure did refund me. BE CAREFUL

I was also charged for 19.95 some ID protection. By the way never use this search, they don't provide any true information. I hired a lawyer and they gave me back my money plus suffering cost and paid attorney's fee.

I used the service for a $.99 cent address lookup. I specifically did NOT check that I wanted their promoted service (Identity Protect).

Minutes later, I get an email welcoming me to the Identity Protect service - that is flat out a fraudulent business practice, and someone should report them to the state attorney general.

I DON'T appreciate, nor tolerate, being stolen from ! This practice will be brought to the attention of our nations newspaper, dates and names included. We, the hard-working Americans that allow a business of this nature to grow and thrive in our country, will not allow ### to flourish In another country, they flat cut off your hands for stealing. recently i recieved a payment on my statement from this company i called my bank that let me know this was and gave me a phone number luck i got a rep at the bank that offered a three way call to them we got them ont he phone and they cancelled so i thought a refund was refunded but the next month i had to do the same they had charged mt account once again and i never was this people ever before

their website is www.intellius.com, you all should go there in reference to canceling your accounts with them, they'll never do it from here or you could always dispute the charge with your bank, that's how i received my money back...hopes this helps.

Intelius has taken $10.95 out of my account for 10 mths and I can not get them to stop this. I did not authorize this monthly deduction and Im furious over it. I want it stoped and I want my money back!
