On this website you register enter your information and then when you go and try to get the information for the reverse lookup it keeps putting you back into the login mode. they refused to delete my information and only disable my account from their side. they said their is no way for me to delete it on my own. they said they had to keep the credit card on record and my information for tax purposes when I told them I know you can no do it. if I am not a customer you can not use me for tax purposes and you do not use someone's information especially their credit card for tax purposes. then she said oh we just cant delete the information from our files our computer wont let us.

If you select a promotional price on the Intelius website, you will also receive a free 7 day trial of Identity Protect. After the 7 day trial, it will convert to a regular subscription and bill out at $19.95 monthly.

However, there’s no obligation. If you determine within the 7 day trial that you no longer want Identity Protect, you can cancel your service anytime, online or over the phone with a customer support representative.

Found a charge of $14.95 on my American Express card from this company. I have never even heard of them. When I called, they claimed that I had taken advantage of a 14 day trial offer and then it would be billed at $14.95 per month. Like I said, I have never heard of this company and I NEVER take advantage of ANY such trial offers. The lady that I spoke to when I called was very rude. I see a lot of reports on this company.

Whew, glad someone else has had an issue with this company! I recently made a purchase on intelius.com to confirm an address on someone and was billed appropriately $49.99 and that was fine. However, I just received my bank statement and there is an additional charge from some company that they are obviously in cohoots with called AP9*PMIDENTITY.COM-V. I was charged an additional $19.95 from this company for a service I never signed up for or purchased. I've never even heard of them. I've already forwarded this fraudulent charge to my bank. Beware!

I paid for a service 3 days ago and have still not received my answer. It just tells me it is processing. If I do not get my phone number search will the charge be taken off.

I used their service once, as all i was trying to get was an unlisted phone number. They only gave me a an old number (listed( that was disconnected.
The worst part was on my next months credit card bill there was a $19.95 charge from a company called 24ProtectPlus. When I called the company, they said I joined their program when I used Intelius (supposedly to get a 10$dollar rebate from Intelius--impossible, because I did not become an Intelius member, I just used their service for the one time $9.95 fee). I called 24ProtectPlus, and they said they would refund the charge in 2 to 3 business days. We shall see.

Ran background check. Gave given Social Secuity #. report was for several people except the person I asked for . They will not refund my money. The Customer service rep emailed me and and said "Surely you can't be serious!LoL. We already took your money and spent it. there is no room for negotiations. Plus we don't even CARE>Your not the first and you wont be the last...

I did not receive the reports I'd paid for, and a refund was denied. I spoke with Dominick, and was assured there would be no monthly charge. He made the statement that the reports are only from public records. When I asked him where the info was on the tax fraud and evasion from Utah that pertained to the person being investigated, he had no response. Seemed impervious to have his company investigated by the Feds. Wonder why?

I have been trying to charge my credit card but it keeps telling me that my card has an other owner.
This is a new card first time given to me.
This is a citibank mastercard from my employment.
I have no other problems purchaseing anything on-line only this wed-site. I would like to use this wed-site because it gives me more results them other sites. please help me? I'm trying to find my father.

After paying for quite a few reverse phone number searches I found out that they were giving me blatantly false information as to who the numbers belonged to. I even wonder if they were making the names up because the information turned out to be so incorrect.

I agree with everyone up here. I tried the one time search for $2.95. That search turned absolutely nothing up. No address, no information, nothing. A few days later a charge of $19.95 came out of my account. I'm not exactly sure who I need to complain to because when I call no one ever answers. I called the sales department and someone finally answered and when I told him my problem he immediately said, "let me get someone to help you." Before I could tell him not to transfer me because they never answer at customer service he had already hung up on me. This is a scam if I ever saw one. I will do everything within my power to hook these people up with a lawsuit.

I have made several attempts to call intelius to cancel subscription. I get put on hold everytime and spend 10 ~ 15 minutes on hold never to get through.
On the phone recording it states you can log onto custserv@intelius to email information. I cannot get through to this website either.
I have been paying a 19.99 fee each month and I do not use the service.
I want to cancel.

Intelius is a racket. I went into the website to request information on a phone number. According to Intelius the charge would be only $ .99 cents. Intelius did provide the information but two weeks later I went into my bank account and Intelius had charged me $19.99 for additional subscriptions that I did not authorize. I want my money back. By the way Intelius has posted on their website several phone numbers that when you call a machine puts you on hold until you get tired of holding and hang up. I was on hold for one hour. The voice on the phone directs you to custserv@intelius.com but how will this help me.

I eed that money for medication and you have now messed up my bank account. I am 77 years old and a widow. I want my money back. ON SEPT 22, 2008, I WAS CHARGED $.99 AND ON THE 23RD $19.95, FOR SERVICES i DID NOT RECEIVE. I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL SAYING THAT THE INFORMATION REQUESTED COULD NOT BE LOCATED AND MY CHECKING ACCOUNT (DEBIT CARD) WOULD NOT BE CHARGED, YET THE CHARGES WERE PUT THROUGH. This the second E mail I have sent. In May 08 I had a search of an address for a $2.90 charge and that was all. Unfortunatley you folks used my credit card to continue charging me for subscrioptions. I have disputed your charges with my credit card company, but your continue to bill me, recent charge of $19.95, 8/25/08. I have attempted to call customer service, which says will be 20 minute delay, and still can't get through. Please take me off your charge list. Thank you. I only authorized a withdrawal to these people for $.99. When I checked my acct I found that they had taken that amount plus a withdraw of $19.95 was also taken out on 9/22/08. I want the money refunded to my acct or me anmd do not want any further business with this company. I am also notifying my bank to this matter. Thanks for any help, but this is theft.

I placed what I thought was a one time service to this company for a phone number look up of 4.95.
The next thing I know they are deducting $19.95 out of my checking account every month. I tryed to call and cancel but you can not get though on the phone so I emailed. They said they would reply in two business days but they didn't.

I enrolled in the Intelius service for a trail of $4.95, I realized that this was not the service that I needed, and canceled it the sane night, but was stilled charged for it and have been being charged for it at $19.95 a month. I have not used the service and do not want and the service. I've tried to call and take care of this problem with no luck. please help . Thank You Nancy Kennedy

this is bad. they take money off the credit card wtithout authorization and then you can't get in touch with them by phone or email. this is the customer service email address they give over the phone. some email. why would you have to wait 20 minutes to talk to someone if then because of so many calls being answered. they must do alot of things wrong

My account was charged an unauthorized amount of 19.95 I only authorized .99 for a reverse phone look up.

I saw the box for some identity protection and I didn't check the box and only authorized a .99 cent reverse phone number look up . Furthermore, I didn't even get the .99 cent report.

Please credit my accout as soon aas possible.

This company charged my account without authorization. I only expected to pay the one time fee of 5.95...to look up a phone number only, however they charged my account 2x once for approx, 2 dollars and another for 19.95...even though i emailed them after the first charge of 5.95 and told them to cancel the account and no further charges were authorized. this company is a scam and the appropriate agency's having jurisdiction such as the fbi etc. should investigate and close down their site and charge them with extortion.

I also joined and was charged 49.99, I cannot gain access to my account, I have called and been put on hold for as much as twenty minutes several times. I did finally get through to someone who told me my E-mail was invalid and it is not, it is the same one I have used for years, he then gave me another number to call, which I did and they said they weren't involved with Intelius in any way.

I would like to get my money back alsol
