I have been a homeowner for many years and worked with several home warranty companies, but my experience with Choice has been the worst by far. I subscribed in early 2025, and my first claim—a simple plumbing repair—took over six weeks.
Only afterward did I learn it wasn’t covered, though this was never communicated. To this day, I don’t know what, if anything, Choice paid, but I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket.
Throughout the process, I received no proactive updates. Every inquiry had to be initiated by me, and no one explained the delays or coverage decisions. Meanwhile, the company had no hesitation in collecting my payment and even issued a renewal notice with a $100 increase before my claim was resolved.
This lack of transparency, communication, and service makes Choice the most disappointing provider I’ve dealt with. I urge you to address these issues, so other customers don’t face the same experience. I will also be sharing this complaint publicly.
Recommendation: Don't waste your money.
