I called Choice on 4/23/25 and said my washer drain was overflowing and I needed it unclogged. On 4/25/25 Kintex Plumbing came to my home. He arrived with no tools and when I asked how he was going to unclog the drain with no tools I was informed that he was not there to unclog the drain. He was there to access the problem and he would have to get Choice to approve the repair before he could proceed. I had to pay the $100 service fee even before he got the approval from Choice. He came back 3 days later on 4/28/25 and he did unclog the drain. I was unaware that Choice does not send a company out to repair or replace. They send a company to tell them what the problem is and then they decide if approval is necessary and repair it days later.
Claimed loss: 100
Desired outcome: It was repaired 5 days after I called in the claim

On 12/17/25 I called Choice and reported that my GE top loading washer was not spinning. I was made to make my $100 service fee before they would send a company to repair the washer. I made the $100 using a credit card. I was notified that Eyebee Solutions would be at my home on 12/22-5 days after I called in the problem. I contacted Eyebee and requested a closer appointment time on 12/17 in the afternoon. I had to leave a voicemail and no-one ever returned my call. On 12/18 I called Eyebee and got a real person on the phone. I explained that I needed an appointment by 12/19 and was told that they had no vacancies but if they had a cancellation they would contact me. Early morning on 12/19 I got a text from Eyebee telling me that a service person would be at my home that day at 11AM. Eyebee's service showed up and withing 20-30 minutes the washer was repaired and working. Their service person, Bulat Bagit told me that I owed him the $100 service fee. I told him that I had already paid CHoice and he told me that if I did not pay him the $100 he would remove the part he had installed in my washer. I gave him a check for $100 because after trying to call Choice 6 times all I got was voicemail. When I finally got a call back from Choice and I told this female what had happened and I wanted an explanation as to why I had to pay twice I was promptly hung up on and no-one ever called me back. I did check my credit card account and Choice did refund me the $100 that I was made to give them on 12/17 when I called in the problem. I got an email from Choice on 12/20 telling me that they had approved the repair to my washer not spinning. I responded with a nasty letter telling them what had transpired and if I had any more problems with them I would cancel my 3,1/2 year contract.
You might as well cancel, they are a horrible company. I had Kintex sent to me and they did the same thing, we had to pay the service fee for them to tell me to just put my faucet hose in vinegar because it was clogged. That didn't work and I had someone else come with tools and actually get under the sink. The water is flowing perfectly now. They repeatedly use terrible contractors who just want the service fee.
Funny thing that I was looking up a service company that I recently dealt with thru Choice Home Warranty, and this post came up. I noticed the name EYEBEE SOLUTIONS here and that is the name i was provided by CHW. Our appointment with EYEBEE SOLUTIONS was scheduled for January 6th between 11AM and 3PM. Without exaggerating i placed at least 10 calls and possible 3-5 voice messages on their provided phone to finally get someone on the phone and were promised a different dates and then multiple times throughout the day based on their laughable tracker they text to customer as the arrival time kept going further out and not in every 30 minuets and finally someone showed up around 6:15PM and was there for maybe 10 minuets and left with the $75 call fee and told us he does not have the parts and that his company is most likely out of it for 4-5 days, and to call his company the next day and schedule a follow up once they have the parts. The company texted me with an appoint on the 12th so i decided to pass and take care of my problem out of my pocket as i simply could not trust them or wait another 5-6 days if they even show up on time. Unfortunately, and due to repair cost skyrocketing we all forced in a way to purchase appliances repair warranties and they all claim to be number 1, but unfortunately, some of their contractors are not reliable and when things go south for us there is no compensations and you left with the last minuets option since you already wasted enough time with those unreliable. Personally, the name EYEBEE SOLUTIONS is anything but solutions.
