Choice Home Warranty review: Contract / policy / company 1

Deceitful and untrustworthy company. I've put in 3 claims, all denied, but Choice offered me $200 each time as a consolation prize.
The one claim they went forward on was my stand alone freezer ( I paid extra for on the policy). Frost was building up inside, the sent a tech out and he replaced the seal. It didn't work, so he came back out 2 more times trying to adjust it. He put in to replace the unit, Choice decided to have him replace all hardware, new seal and inner door panel. When the part came to over $600, Choice offers to replace my 20.7cuft freezer with a gift card to Lowes...for $529. Wouldn't cover half the cost to replace, so I refused it. Case Manager calls and says Best Buy has an Open Box Buy for $749. I'd just have to cover the difference, plus delivery as it's an hour away. She also informed me Choice doesn't replace items of equal value, meaning just because I have a 20.7cuft, auto defrosting freezer, they can replace it with any freezer, regardless of size. First American gave me equal or BETTER when something needed to be replaced.
The salesperson use pressure tactics like only getting this special pricing thru them, right then. They also used the fact I'm a veteran and said there treat vets better than the rest.
oh yeah, wear n tear doesn't mean to Choice what the rest of the world views wear as. Also, you pay the vendor when they get to your home, not Choice. Why does this matter? Makes you liable for the vendor, meaning if they screw something up, Choice is blame free and you have to deal with the vendor. Again, First American Home Warranty, you pay First American, they deal with the vendor.
Choice is horrible, wording in the contract means you can't sue them, gotta go to arbitration...in NJ. Its a scammy company that paid lawyers a lot of money to make it near impossible to get take to court.
