Hello,
I purchased tile flooring from the Keller store.
Measure 10/09/2018, Paid and signed agreement 10/12, pulled floor up Nov 1st.
That is the last time anything got done. My house has been torn up for just under 3 months. I have been sleeping on the floor. I have taken off work 3 different times for various appointments to hopefully get the floor installed.
Bottom line... on Jan 22nd, the installer came over again to lay the tile. Once again he told me he couldn't do it. This time he said the floor wasn't level and it would cost more money. Why didn't they notice that from day one?
If you look at the BBB website you will see that this is the same treatment Cooper Flooring other customers of HD. I can't believe you still use them!
I canceled the order. I couldn't take the stress of this any longer. My house was torn up for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year! I couldn't have anyone visit. I missed work and didn't get paid.
I spoke with Ryan from the HD store. He said he would refund the complete amount charged to my card $2233.52 I asked him twice if he was telling the truth about crediting me a full refund. He said yes and would email me a receipt. I never got the receipt and the credit back to my card was only $1702.62.
Ryan also said that Cooper Flooring would pay the extra money to fix the floor, but I wouldn't trust that company to lay a throw rug down on my floor after all this trouble!
I feel HD is in breach of our agreement and I should receive the rest of my refund.
The contract says start date 10/12/2018 End Date No 12, 2018... Missed that target by a mile!
