Delivery Driver Snatched Phone From My Hand and Refused to Unload My Washer/Dryer
I knew better than to order from Home Depot. I had a bad experience with an appliance delivery 4 years ago. However, the store manager was amazing back then and told me they were trying to get rid of the outside delivery contractor company and build a delivery service within Home Depot. He worked with me and made sure the new appliances were re-delivered on time and damage free. I continued to shop frequently at Home Depot. It's less than 5 miles down the road.
Fast forward 4 years. I needed a new washer/dryer installed and the old washer/dryer hauled away. I paid $2000 and patiently waited for the delivery. I knew it was going to be delivered on 09/21 but I didn't know what time. Typically a delivery company calls, texts, or emails the day before with a time frame, ex. 8a-11am. I did not receive anything notification from Home Depot. This morning, I took my daughter to school. I left the house at 8:00am. It takes me 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back. At 8:17 am I received a text message from our receptionist (its a business) that they were here to install the washer/dryer. I said ok, let them know I will be there in less than 5 minutes. I arrived at 8:20am and greeted the drivers. One of them moved the truck while the other one came with me. He told me they could not install because I needed a longer hose (8 feet). I questioned, do you have one on the truck? He said no. I said, I will go and get one. He said, no, he could not wait. I said, Home Depot is less than 5 miles from here. By the time you remove the old units and install the new units, I will be back with the hose. He said no. I asked to speak to his manager since I paid $150 for the installation and $50 for the haul away. He called over and over and could not get the manager on the phone. I asked one of our employees to go to Home Depot and pick up a hose. He did as I requested. We finally got the manager on the phone. She explained they had a policy the guys could not stay longer than 30 minutes. I said ma'am they've only been here about 15 minutes. I've sent a young man to Home Depot to buy a hose. Can they please wait until he gets back? She said, I will allow them to stay for 10 minutes and then they have to leave. This is all on speaker phone, so the driver hears what she said. THE DRIVER SNATCHES THE PHONE OUT OF MY HAND AND SAYS, "I'M NOT DOING THIS!" He then gets into the delivery truck (which had Krispy Kreme painted over) and says he's leaving. I said, no, you have my washer and dryer on your truck. I've paid for it. We waited for the police to arrive. Basically, they told me, even though I paid for the merchandise, they could not make him unload it. It's considered a FAILED DELIVERY. Yes, the driver's can legally drive away with your merchandise in North Carolina! They also told me, I'm not the 1st person to have this issue with Home Depot. I contacted Home Depot corporate. The "best" they could offer me is: To reschedule the delivery and most likely I would have different delivery drivers, but they couldn't guarantee it. The delivery would be for Monday, but I'm out of town. I asked what time would they deliver it so I could have someone available to oversee the delivery. She told me I could call the store the night before to find out. It was too much! I asked her to cancel the order and refund the money. MY MAIN CONCERNS ARE: Nothing was mentioned about the driver snatching the phone out of my hand or disobeying his manager when she told him to stay for 10 minutes. Nothing was mentioned about the delivery drivers refusing to deliver my merchandise. WHY would I feel safe or trust this company any longer. Any company that allows their employees or contractors to treat customers this way, CAN NOT BE TRUSTED!
Recommendation: STAY AWAY! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
Great customer service at Store #4655 in Lynchburg Virginia by Charles in Plumbing
I had not been to Home Depot for a number of years. I had been shopping at Lowe’s.
Home Depot #4655 is closer to my home so when I needed something quickly about a year ago I went there to make a purchase. I have been there to make numerous purchases since then due to the excellent customer service I received by one of your employees. Charles, in Plumbing helped me to locate exactly what I wanted Since that first time going back to Home Depot I will only shop when Charles is working. I will look for him and always receive first class courteous ,respectful ,knowledgeable and honest advice and friendly customer service from him. When looking for items I have been passed by other employees there who do not even ask if they can help me however no matter where I see Charles (even if he is on a stair thingy ) he will call out and greet me and ask if he can help me. I have not only always experienced this myself but have seen him treat other customers the same way. He is irreplaceable. A very very valued man with so many qualities that I pray Home Depot appreciates him. I want you to know that if he is not there when I go in I will leave and only come back to the store when he is there. I value and trust him on everything I need. You should have more employees like Charles in Plumbing and I send everyone I know to him for anything they may need.
Recommendation: Deal with Charles in Plumbing at Home Depot in Lynchburg Virginia for the best customer service possible.
Charles in Plumbing with Home Depot in Lynchburg Virginia gives everyone excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly and respectful and always is able to find whatever I need to purchase.
So many damaged items
We had to purchase additional flooring to replace some of the original order that had damaged pieces. It was a week late just like the original order causing delays for the contractors. This is what the two boxes looked like when I opened them. They left it outside the garage at 630 AM and signed for me and I can see why. It appears that they threw or just dropped the boxes on their ends. One whole box, with the plastic wrap torn open is useless.
We also bought the Terryn 72.20.35 vanity with engineered white marble top. When we opened it there were 2 chips on the rim and next to one of the sinks. The [censored] manager at sunset valley HD would only offer 250 credit. It cost that much to fix it so that you have to now where it was ... Customer service at this and the IH 35 and Slaughter locations absolutely SUCKS.
When we get the floors finished I am bringing the damaged flooring back and I expect a full refund.
I also want an additional 500.00 off the vanity for the delay and irritation and to repay us for your people damaging the vanity top.
What the hell has happened to home depot? You can Never find someone to help with questions. There are hardly any staff on the floor when you need one. I went in to buy some parts to move a ceiling fan and could not find anyone except the little high school girl cashier so I left and went to Lowe's and received immediate assistance spent my 100 bucks and left.

On Aug. 27 I went to the Home Depot on Arizona Ave. and Ocotillo in Chandler with a broken clamp that holds the net across a ping pong table. The first HD employee was very helpful but when a second employee joined us well, as they say 2 heads are better than one, they both went out of their way to find a solution and they were sucessful. Service is not as easy to find as it once was and we found it that day in Home Depot, thank you from a grateful customer. The employee was Steve Faust.

Sandra Mitchell Orange room MIZIH installer employees of Home Depot
There has been issues from the start from the measurer to the installer to the so called person sandra mitchell who refused to remove the carpet which was installed nov 4th whish first is the wrong color nor what I picked, was told that I have one year in which to file a complaint and have it removed whish is not happening even the inspector gabe stated that it was very poor work the colors in the three rooms do not match. I have requested that it be removed from the time it was installed. First of all the installer never asked me to check that the color was the right one never happened. They came from three different rolls. Oh by the way what happened 'to the statement that satisfaction guaranteed or refund. Have other issues with purchases from home depot. From garage openers malibu lights half do not work solar batteries never worked had to take them back thompsons deck sealer useless. Had to buy other after paid 200 $ never got refunded. This woman is not a people person and in my opinion should not work for any company.

Delivery service for refrigerator
I purchased a refrigerator from your store at 6000 S Gun Club Rd Aurora co. on Dec 5th. I set up an appointment for delivery Dec 11th. I received a text message on the 10th that my delivery time was on the 11th between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm. This refrigerator is for my 89 yr old Mother in law who lives alone. I drove to her home 45 minutes away arrived at 2:pm so I could hook up her copper line since the delivery guy won't. At 4:30 I received a text saying Home Depot can't complete my delivery? Advised they would call for a reschedule. No explanation why. Call the store 3 times until someone answered and told me they had no idea why either. I was told I could not contact the delivery company they would call me. I waited until 9:30 the 12th no call. I called the store a lady Connie advised she would call the delivery company. She called back 50 minutes later advised no one would answer to wait for a call 24 to 48 hours. My mother in law has been without a fridge for 7 weeks. We went to Lowes first they had issues getting fridge. So we came to you hoping for better service and sooner delivery. Were is our Fridge!

On November 14 - 16,2023 I was contacted by a person who told me that there was activity on my account and that the people using it were spending it on sex trafficking and pornography. I could lose my social security number if I don;t comply. I was to take cash (in total $28,000) and buy gift cards from your store. I did so in $2000 cards.They said they were watching me. They made me fearful about what was going to happen to me. I reported the card numbers to the person on the phone with the pin numbers. I began to realize this was a scam but I was scared about what they would do.
I took cash from two other Fifth Third Banks $10,000 and another $10,000. I bought cards from Home Depots in the area. I have all the cards and receipts. I am hoping that you will assist me in getting some of this money back through your insurance or through checking if the cards have been used. I filed apolice report JG518914

Cub cadet zero turn inventory.
Good day, my complaint is on inventory shown on the Home Depot site in the US Virgin Islands St. Croix. On the site is shown to have four Cub cadet 50 inch cut machines when asked over the phone or in person there were different stories. For example, first story was the machines were damaged that is why they never made it to floor. Story number two they needed to be assembled before being sold. Three there were none in stock and Home Depot may not be selling cub cadets anymore. So why show you still have in stock?
Desired outcome: If indeed there is any in stock put them out for sale.None in stock show out of stock online so that the costumers dont have to waste time and frustration.
LG refrigerator
I bought the LG refrigerator on 11/20/2023 with a promise date of delivery on 11/30/2023. As of this date 11/30/2023 I did not receive a call that this refrigerator would not be delivered. Called the delivery number this morning asking what was to be the delivery time this morning and was instructed that I would not get it today and they could not give me a new delivery date. I told them my refrigerator was empty and had a party planned this Saturday 12/2/2023 and had no way to store food. When I asked for the corporate number the phone went on hold and came back later with a survey. I need this to be resolved as quickly as possible.

Damaged goods
Adding wall, base cabinets and pantry along with countertop in laundry room.
Base and wall cabinets came in a timely manner and in good condition. Had to wait for pantry and countertop.
I had to have 3 pantry cabinets delivered before having one that could be fixed. The first 2 were crushed, one on the side, the other in the back, with a door twisted off of the hinges. The third one was nicked up. I had to get the cabinet installed, so I decided to repair it myself in order to use it.
Now, the countertop finally came in and was ready for pick-up. Packaging looked ok but when I opened it at home, it was cracked to badly to be used. The good thing is that their picking it up tomorrow and delivering the replacement. The negative is that it may take more than two weeks to get it.
I understand that things do happen, and in most cases can be much worse. Especially when working with 2 and 3 services (re: delivery) to get things accomplished.
I just wanted to let others know that, if you can, it's much better to inspect and pick up required items directly from the store.
Reimbursement of the 50.00 and defective merchandise and agreevation.
Made purchase of complete bathroom tub and surround. Pick it up it was defect. Purchase was returned but was not in stock to reorder in time for installation with construction crew. Was to receive a $50.00 for opening a Home Depot credit card. Made another purchase of a microwave which was put on the Home Depot credit card. Received item assuming that the $50.00 credit would be applied for the opening of the credit card. But it was not. There was nothing said that it only applied if the item was not or returned because of it being purchased first. You should not advertise you will receive a 50.00 credit or any other amount for opening your cards when you do not stand behind the offer or you should check your merchandise to find what is defective or not before selling it to your customers. Your customer service representative leaves a lot to be desired when trying to get them to understand the issue. I would Like to have my 50.00 credit to my charge. I do believe there is someone higher up who can resolve the problem in your organization. Please get back to me. Thank you.

Repair service on my LG refrigerator
I purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot in 2016. I also purchased the extended warranty. Yesterday, Nov. 26th.2023 my refrigerator stopped working. Upper section was room temperature and the freezer would not freeze. Today, I called for service on the LG. I had to wait almost 20 min. to speak to someone. I kept getting transfered from one voice mail to another and was disconected once. Finally, when I did get one of your agents she asked for general information and then started to ask me to perfom different tasks on the refrigerator, which I did, to a point. She again asked me what was wrong and I told her I informed her already that the upper and lower sections of the LG were not working. After about 15 minutes and after she asked me to check the temperaturer inside the fridge and unplug it for 24 hrs. I had had it. I told her it was room temperature. I told her that all I wanted to do was schedule a repair for the LG. I told her that it is not working and I also had an exteded warranty. She then said she would refer me to the appliance repair and that they would call me in 30 Min. I asked her who do I contact if they do not call me in 30 min. She assured me the call would come. After approx. 1 1/2 hrs. later, I did get a call. I told the agent that I no longer wanted them and said I was fed up with the service. I told her apparently no one had a clock as the call was over an hour late.
She then asked to verify my address for service and I again told her that I was not going to use them and already scheduled a repair.
Your customer service is terrible. All agents do is appologize, but that is it. My time is important. I cannot be standing around a phone waiting for a call that does not come as promised. I wasted almost 2.5 hrs. trying to get service. In my opinion, that is unacceptable.

Life time flooring
We had our dining and living room done with Lifetime Flooring. Installed these two rooms 10/5/22. We had issues with the installers. They did a horrible job. 4 years earlier we had the kitchen done and we were very pleased with Lifetime flooring. We were trying to reach Rita since July/23. No one ever picks up phone in Auburn, NY flooring when transferred. Finally someone did and no one knew who Rita was. Finally in October/23 I reached someone that knew that Rita is no longer with Home Depot and that Tina is the new COS. Not sure what COS stands for. When we had the floor installation 4 years ago, we also bought huge Whirlpool Frig/Freezer, May Tag Dishwasher and Gas Stove. Stone is coming up through bottom. They want to charge me $100.00 to come out and look at. Warranty for installation is done. 1 yr. Well I couldn't reach anyone. There are many more issues with floor that we are going to let go but the rock needs to be addressed. Looking for help on this. Delivery
I purchased a dishwasher on Monday Nov 13th and was told a delivery date of Thursday Nov 16th, I checked the tracking about noon and it was out for delivery. I later received an email telling me that my dishwasher could not be delivered today. I called to get a new delivery schedule and was told that Monday was my new date and when I asked why I could not get my delivery on Friday I was told that Friday was booked up. I don't understand how Friday can be booked up when Thursday deliveries have not been completed. This is not the first time that I have a problem with deliveries with Home Depot products.

Carpet installation
We had a simple carpeting job, but they took over 3 months to get the right measurements, and had to come out 3 times and none of the measurements were the same.
