I have a major problem and since the Night Store Manager Of Your Shreveport, La Store #0381 said my Delivery will not be ready until April of 2021. I place this order on September 30, 2020 with an Estimated Arrival Date of November 29, 2020 of this year.
I decide to write you today December 6, 2020 on this matter so that you can be inform and I NEED Your HELP on resolving this matter, so that i, can get some closure and have a better outlook on Customer Care and Service from HOME DEPOT, So On Dec 4, 2020 and around 11:00am I spoken with my Pro Account Sales Associate who is Carolyn Huff she inform me in person that my Generator and ATS is expected to arrival on the shipment truck Friday night December 04, 2020 and it must be process in the warehouse. And Home Depot do not delivery on Saturday December 05, 2020. She "Mrs. Huff"
said it will be on Monday December 07, 2020.
She inform me that she (Mrs. Huff) will be off Saturday and I were ok with that. I made a purchase 0381 01 85470 12/04/2020 4236 and left the Store after that with my Sales Person.
Then on today Sunday December 06, 2020 I had a voice message to call the Delivery Store Manage by the name of Shay to call her back because there is some confusion on The Expectation Delivery Date for My Generator at [protected] ext 382.
So I did call her and she say she were left a note to call me and inform me that my Generator was NOT at the Store and I asked her have You Checked the Warehouse and she No, she has Not.. So I asked her to call me back after she has checked the warehouse.
So (30) thirty minutes later the Night store Manager called me instead of the Delivery Mgr and said my Generator were on Back Order Until April Of 2021.
Mr. Menear I were not Happy.. This was not a Happy Thanksgiving nor a Merry Christmas for me because, Mind You Sir, I taking off work for 3 vacation day along with my schedule day off to have this Generator install before December 09, 2020. I have lost wage and time off not needed. I have paid for Services a head of Time for my Generator arriver.

Problems with used items being sold as new to customer service and complaints department
Home depot has to be the biggest lousiest business ever. I've spent the last 7 months doing a backyard remodel in a garage remodel and have been sold so many items that have been used as new. When I want to complain about them I was upgraded to more used tools that they said were new then transferred around to the 20 different managers in the store finally to deal with the complaints department which is in addition home depot has to be the biggest lousiest business ever. I had several items in my cart, including a manual generator transfer switch that was the main reason for my order.
I had a coupon for 12 month financing on orders over $299, which was valid until 12/02/20. After confirming that there was no other items I needed for the installation, on 12/02/20 I returned to my shopping cart to place the order. the manual generator transfer switch was now listed as "No longer available online or for in-store pick-up." I did not place my order. On 12/04/20, I returned to the home depot website, hoping to find that they had added a newer model to replace the manual generator transfer switch that they discontinued, and there, sitting in my cart was the same manual generator transfer switch that now said I could have it delivered or pick up at store! Why was it no longer available, and then suddenly available after the promo code expired? I made several calls, and no no one would honor the financing offer. This is what I call bait and switch.
I have had an account with home depot for 13 years, and never have they not corrected a stocking mistake that affected placing an order before a financing offer expired.
I will be taking my business back to lowe's.
Delivery and installation of my appliances for, $1,655/ order no. H4647-139034
Good morning, My appliances were supposed to be delivered yesterday December 3, 2020. The delivery truck arrived with 2 workers, when I opened the door to them I had my sweet harmless dog Bernedoodle on the leash with me. They told me that they can not deliver when the dog at the house, even when it is on leash. Because I am single man living alone, had to go the the garage and leave the dog locked in the garage. Then I went outside the house to let the driver that was able to lock the dog in the garage. They said no we are leaving no delivery for you because you refused to put the dog away. I told give did you give me the change to think and put the dog away? He said no delivery for you still. So I called the store that I ordered the appliances from within 5 minutes. The store called the delivery company but they would not turn around to deliver the appliances.
I took the day off and did not get paid for that day. The store rescheduled the delivery for December 9. I have to take off again from work and loose money.
I need a consideration for the bad treatment that I got and money lost by not going to work twice waiting for delivery.
I need a discount on my purchase or $200 gift certificate as compensation for the disastrous delivery.

I'm a 70 year old man who has been shopping at the Laguna Niguel store since it changed from Home Base many years ago. For tax purposes my wife and I have been keeping files on all the various projects we have done on our home since 1987. We have spent over $200, 000 at that piece of property, when it was both Home Base and Home Depot and... I have never seen your prices skyrocket like they do now. Do you raise them daily or weekly or what? Not only do the prices increase, but the quality of the your products have plummeted. I'm just finishing up a Master Bath remodel and I have already gone through 4 belt sanders already. (1- Porter Cable, 1 Rigid, and 2 Ryobi). The Porter Cable was a nice sander (I thought), but it only lasted about 2 1/2 years with not that much use. I sent it back to Porter Cable for repairs (another $100). When I got it back, I used it infrequently but it lasted only a month!

In the past I have purchased a lot of building materials through home depot.
I just placed an order for around $2000.00 and paid with my home depot commercial card, which was rejected, after calling the finance dept, I find my home depot commercial revolving card limit has been dropped to $900.00 which when you are in business is first of all an insult, secondly really messes up my day spending hours on the phone talking to people who really are no better than robots, if your call gets dropped, you are out of luck, no one will ever call you back and if you call back you have to go through the same rigamorall explaining the same info over and over again.
This is terrible customer service.
I wasted basically an entire morning straightening out this mess, all caused by very poor customer relations.
Frigidaire white electric washer/dryer laundry center - 3.9 cu. ft. washer and 5.5 cu. ft. dryer model # flce7522aw
Ordered this washer/dryer combo model, which was delivered on november 19th 2020. Installer said valve were corroded and needed to be replaced, so he left the unit and refused to install. We had a plumber replace the valves even though he said they didn't need to be replaced. He made the connections, which is when we discovered the washer was defective. The sensor in the lid is not functioning, so the lid won't lock, which means the unit won't engage.
Calls to home depot's appliance support number landed me at some third party company whose representative had children crying in the background. She said there was no one in our area who could repair the unit even though it is brand new and we purchased an extended warranty. A call to the main hone depot customer service number ended up in disconnection twice.

My granddaughter has used a Home depot charge card for years. She uses the 24 month no interest program. She just bought a house full for furniture this way. I helped her pick it up and bring it home. Now, days later Home Depot is telling her that the program that she was told will work for this purchase is now not good and payment is due in six months. I am more than upset. She was told by a Home Depot employee that the 24 month thing was good to go. This is a verbal contract. My granddaughter is a lawyers and her uncle is a retired lawyer. If Home Depot wants a fight here it comes! My granddaughter spent over two hours trying to talk to Home Depot and got nowhere. We will be bringing everything back to the store ASAP.

Carpet and installation

We had discussed our carpet needs twice with store employees, decided on what we wanted, and had their person that measures come out to finalize the amount needed for the job. The installation was planned for a Saturday morning and we were told the crew would be here between 11AM and 2PM. My husband called the Thursday before to verify and confirm the time which they did, 11AM to 2PM. We were to break down our beds and had broken down our second bed as agreed upon to avoid that charge. We had not yet broken down our bed since we had slept in it the night before. We were beginning to break down our bed when my husband received a text at 8AM stating that they were on their way to our house. A crew of three arrived at 8:15AM. Though they were early my husband walked them around the house to show what had to be done. When they saw the bed in our room they immediately said "you are not ready" and proceeded to call the home office of their company USIG that Home Depot hires to do these jobs who in turn called my husband. They called to say there was a problem in that we were supposed to be ready at 8AM. Needless to say this was not the time we had initially scheduled or that they had confirmed the Thursday before. Rather than let us break down the bed and move it they said they could not wait and that they had a repair to make at another residence and would be back at 11AM. We later found out that they had gone back to USIG, unloaded the carpet and padding and had left for Pennsylvania. So we were left waiting for a crew that was never going to come back since they had in fact left for Pennsylvania. From the moment they came to the door it was apparent laying our carpet was the last thing in the world they wanted to do on a Saturday morning. And, as we found out, this crew who as stated had nothing to do with Home Depot and, as referenced, had come from Pennsylvania and they had told the company they worked for that they wanted to get back to Pennsylvania on Saturday, this same day. Bottom line they had no desire or intention to lay the carpet. Since we had moved everything out of closets, broken down the other bed and moved other small furniture, and it was all in our living room and dining room, we were stuck with this, we knew, for at least a few weeks. My husband had several tense conversations with Home Depot who said there was no way they could even reschedule for about a month. When he went to the store to speak to the Manager, since it was a weekend, she was not there and he spoke with an Assistant Manager but was given another Manager's name and number for him to call during the week. When he called her, she said she reported to the other woman so basically it appeared they were passing the buck. That Saturday afternoon after the crew left we went to a local business, picked out a better carpet and had it installed beautifully within two weeks. Bottom line is that Home Depot uses a company with what appears to be substandard employees to lay their carpet and Home Depot does not take responsibility for whatever may happen.
Again, go local and DO NOT use Home Depot.

This is for the east montgomery branch, only. I ordered material for a deck in july and have had it delayed until it is now too late in the season to complete the project.
At no time was hd proactive in warning me of the delays, as each time I had to call them to find that the order would not be filled.
Each time it was like pulling teeth to get any help in even getting this information as the clerks who man the phone line are rude, inept, unknowledgeable and dismissive, lecturing the paying customer as to why they should not be expected to do their jobs.
They hang up rather then hang in to help anyone.
Can't ship my online order for 2 month
I placed my order on September 8th. The delivery date was September 15-27. After that, every time I checked the order status, the delivery date was shifted to future dates.
At the end of September, my order changed its status to "confirmed". On October 13, after another call to customer service they opened ticket number #920008 against my order.
Since then, every week I am promised that the order will be shipped by the end of the week.
Unfortunately, I still haven't received my order, although the product is in stock.
Kitchen cabinets
Bought some kitchen cabinets from the meadville pa store in august. The expected date on the receipt was 9/22, but the sales associate dan said, realistically, its going to be a few weeks after that. The whole experience has been a nightmare.
1) The unit I ordered was not the unit I received. Although it did appear that the unit they installed was a step up from what I ordered, it did not have all the features of the ordered unit.
2) They did not have the air scrubber in stock, so another appointment had to be scheduled. During the first appointment to install air scrubber, the technician said he was not able to install it due to the way the first installers created the plenum (it was near the end of the day and he just did not want to deal with it, so a third appointment was made) - Amazing that next technician had no issues installing the air scrubber (although I found out later he installed it upside down).
3) Financing was supposed to be deferred 24 months, but when I got my bill it was not. Although not a big deal, I should not have had to call to correct this.
4) Final inspection was never scheduled; I had to call ARS several times to get this process completed.
5) One year later, called ARS/Home Depot about a few issues we have with this unit. They ended up sending out a tune-up technician and not a maintenance technician. The tune-up technician could not take care of my issues (although he had no issues charging their tune-up fee), so I had to call again to request a 'maintenance technician'. The first representative I spoke with did not seem to understand my issues, but we made an appointment for the next day 12-4 (or so I thought). I felt leery about this appointment, so I called back about an hour later. The nest representative convinced me that I should keep the appointment and that all would be taken care of under warranty. The next morning I received a phone call at 8:22am saying that an ARS technician will be at my house about 9am. That technician (who arrived about 9:30am) said I would need to make another appointment for the uneven air dispersion and that the cracked concrete pad would probably not be replaced (even though ARS replaced the original concrete pad that was 14 years old and had never cracked).
NOT HAPPY - I am so done with both ARS and Home Depot Service and do not recommend ARS/Home Depot to install any Heat pump/furnace combination.
