11/10/2022 I went into homedepot to exchange my propane cylinder for a full one. The employee to an unusually long time to respond finally he brings my tank which we then switched baskets I proceeded to check out but when I go to my car to unload I noticed that the cylinder was empty, the store was already closing but I got help very quickly by a very nice young man from the returns desk, he took care of it but it took again an unusually long time. Finally as I started to unload my propane tank into my vehicle I noticed it felt a bit light but wasnt sure. When I got home I had yet another problem with this cylinder not delivering. I am very upset because I feel discriminated. This is very inconvenient because in order to get propane at this particular store you have to go to a cashier and wait for an employee to bring one to the front of the store, all other stores are not this way, now I have to go back and waste my time and gas money to go back to the store and miss time from work, we use propane to keep warm during the winter seasons. I am very dissatisfied with the way that this store treats customers because I have had many issues prior to this one. I wonder what took so long and if there was something more to it than just common human error because there is no way that this employee had no onowledge of the cylinder being empty when he put it in the basket. I feel it was done in a malicious manner.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for my time and for the inconvenience,
Home Depot - Help in locating kerosene fuel
We stop at the victorville stop today at 3:30pm. We were shopping for christmas tree and other item. The main item I want was the kerosene fuel for my heater. Online shows 19 available. I could not locate the item so I ask a lady on the floor if she knew the location. Her response " I not familiar with this store. I went to the front desk next to the returns looking for help. A black lady said she will check on the computer and in the meantime she answer a phone call and walk away. Another lady at the desk said she will help me, didn't know what I am talking about. A gentleman in orange vest stop and told me on aisle 48.. Not there. I stop at the garden shop since could not find any help. The cashier said ' I am not familiar with this store. Have a nice day' did not even make an attempt to call anyone and she was doing nothing but but standing there. I walk out, home depot lost sale on a christmas tree and other items, but most of all a loyal customer.
