The following has occurred at my residential address and to date no resolution has been forthcoming.

Power outage 21 June 2024, at 1628 Tralee Court, Grovetown, GA 30813. Temp power was restored to our home after a neighborhood outage. Contacted Georgia power regarding outage. Workman came to home and determined one leg of 220 not working-temporary fix (inverter) installed 21 June approximately 9:30pm.

Contacted Georgia Power 2 July at 3:36PM for status of replacement of 220 line and was told someone would contact me in 3 to 5 business days. On 2 July they sent out a workman to verify initial problem, (break at their main box) which he did, and I was told someone would contact me regarding when repair would occur. At 4:32PM received email regarding my “power outage” then another email at 5:12PM stating my power outage was restored.

Contacted Georgia Power 24 July at 10:49AM describing the initial problem from 21 June and where we are to date on fix of 220 line. Was told that someone would be out within 24 hours to repair the 220 line. At 11:42AM received email regarding my “power outage” then another email at 12:02PM stating my power outage was restored.

Contacted Georgia Power again on 24 July at 2:19PM pm stating I do not have a power outage nor a restoration of service. What I need is someone to come to my residence and replace a broken 220 line to my home and remove the inverter. Service rep will send message to try and get someone to contact me as service representatives do not have a code for this problem. At 2:42PM received email regarding my “power outage” then another email at 6:42PM stating my power outage was restored.

I need to have the 220 line from Georgia Power main box replace/repaired to my residence so that the inverter connected to my home can be removed. This is not a power outage as the inverter is supplying the power-it’s a 220 line replacement required as indicated by two of Georgia Power repairperson representatives.

Please contact me with the resolution to this problem.

Desired outcome: Replacement of 220 line to residence & removal of inverter

It's clear that you've been through a lot of back and forth, with multiple calls and emails, and yet the problem remains unresolved. The temporary inverter fix should have been followed up with a permanent solution much sooner. Receiving repeated emails about power outages and restorations that don't address the real issue only adds to the frustration.

You deserve a prompt and effective resolution. The broken 220 line needs to be replaced, and the inverter removed, as soon as possible. It's unacceptable that this issue has dragged on for over a month without proper action.
