Frigidaire Frigidaire Gallery

We purchased a Frigidaire because we had one previous and it lasted 10 years. It was a good brand.

We purchased another 2/9/21 and have had problems with it ever since.

We have called service people and got help on many many minor things.

Now…. We have big issues and may have a problem where the refrigerator will DIE out!

We didn’t get the the warranty because the product proved to be great in the past.

Now we are stuck for the $3000 to buy another!

We can not get any help with the company.

Frigidaire air conditioner

purchased 4 yrs ago - many others in our area did the same from a reputable company but they have only lasted 3 and half yrs. all was guaranteed except coil which is no longer working. looking for a replacement or answer why they had to be replaced so soon it was model P7RE frigidaire ser no P7F171104181 total bill 4350.00. for the air conditioner. thank you

Desired outcome: would like an answer as well as the cost of what a new coil would have cost since we are in the process of replacing.

Frigidaire Frigidaire built-in dishwasher

We purchased all Frigidaire appliances for our new house Dec. 2019, (that makes the products 3 years old). We have used our dishwasher every other day and treated it with care. We are on our 2nd repair (1st one occurred 10 months after ownership) and this time it requires a vent assembly. With the labor and parts, it totals almost what a new one would cost. We feel this to be unacceptable and concerned for all our appliances future! By the way, the refrigerator has been repaired once 16 months into ownership. The Frigidaire 800# rep was not helpful (& very hard to understand). This is our 2nd home in the last 10 years and our 2nd time purchasing all Frigidaire appliances. We do not feel like this makes any difference to Frigidaire! We do not feel we should be held totally responsible for these appliances' unnecessary malfunctions.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a new Frigidaire Refrigerator and it was delivered September 3, 2022 (Model # FFTR1425VW). I was broken (bad motor) by November 2022. I was told by Frigidaire's customer service that a new one would be delivered since it couldn't be repaired (December 2022). I stayed home from work, but no delivery came. Then I was told that I had to go my local LOWE's store to pick one up. That was also inaccurate, when I went to the store. Then I contacted Frigidaire again and they said a date was set up again for delivery, which no one communicated to me. I had someone wait at my house so I wouldn't miss work and no one showed up again. When I contacted to find out why, I was told there was no delivery set up (even though I was given a confirmation number for the delivery). I have sent numerous emails to customer service with no response back and have spoken to numerous reps. I was told that a supervisor is not available to speak with me. It is now mid February 2023 and I still am without a refrigerator and cannot get help. I have requested my money back so that I can purchase another refrigerator, but I cannot get a response from Frigidaire.

Desired outcome: I am requesting for Frigidaire to reimburse my money, in a timely manner, so that I can purchase a refrigerator since the deliveries have been unsuccessful and cannot get a response back from customer contact.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I have a side-by-side refrigerator, model ffhs2311lbha, that has developed cracks on the liner on the refrigerator side of the unit. The refrigerator is just over eight years old. It was purchased new. I do not have an extended warranty. This clearly seems to be a manufacturer defect. I would have expected the unit would have last a lot longer than it has. I have other Frigidaire appliances that I am satisfied with.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I purchased a fridgidaire dishwasher at home depot in November, the plumber advised me the washer was leaking on the left hand corner when on full cycle due to the door gasket. After numerous frustrating calls to fridgidaire I explained the problem gave serial/model number and arranged for technician to come out, the wrong part was sent and the tech didn't show up, after more calls a tech was sent out and looked inside the dishwasher and said there was nothing wrong with the machine. When I ran the machine the next day it leaked. Once again I called as well as home depot did and another tech was sent out and was told the dishwasher was not installed right, I tried to explain the problem but the tech became argumentative. I had to get another dishwasher through home depot and had the plumber back, he showed me where the washer was secured to my cabinets and showed me the gasket that had a space allowing the water to leak. The service from fridgidaire was feeble at best and technicians who were very abrupt. The plumber is a stellar 4 generation operation and the only thing fridgidaire did was fail and cause me tremendously distress and it was just last week I got a working

dishwasher. Looking forward to an explanation. Thank You

Frigidaire Refrigerator

My name is Tami Taylor. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model number FG4H2272UF on June 19, 2020. I also enrolled into the automatic water filter subscription through Frigidaire. The first problem I had was the ice maker would not make ice. I called Frigidaire & was told to change the water filter. I did so even though the fridge did not indicate to change it on the panel & the filter was only about 3 months old. It made ice later. This happened several times for the next year until August of 2022 when changing the water filter did not work. Through the Frigidaire chat, I was referred to a repair service company by the name of Denny's Appliance. On September 28, 2022 they came out & could not figure out what the problem was. They said there was a junk of ice where the water line sends water to the ice maker but that was all. So they recommended that I replace the ice maker so I did. They came out the following week & installed it. The ice maker would work for a while & then stop producing ice. These are the dates Denny's came out to try to fix the ice maker: October 4, 2022, January 6, 2023 January 19, 2023 & February 10, 2023. Not sure the ice maker works after this last appointment.

Another issue I didn't know was a problem was sometimes when I opened the door, the display panel would show ER CE. This would go away when I closed the door. During the week of February 6, 2023, the panel displayed the diagnostic interface (all the lights & words are shown) twice. The first time it went away when I closed the door. The second time it took 30 minutes for it to go away. When Denny's came out on February 10th, they looked at the display panel & it died. So now I'm forced to order a new door because of the broken display panel. Hopefully I can get 1 soon because this refrigerator model has been discontinued & finding the part has been difficult. Not to mention that I don't know if the ice maker works because the panel is broken so I have no ice or water.

Unfortunately, I will have to replace this refrigerator because it has become unreliable.

Desired outcome: Give me a discounted price on a newer model.

Frigidaire Claim

Paul Joyce owner less then a year Model no GCRG3060AFC AND SERIAL NO VF20516800 this gas stove is very dangerous as it has no protection to vital wirnig under bruners as you will see in picture a mouse was very easy aloud to climb up the exposted instation to a nice soft and warm place and chew on all vital wiring near the gas as you may see in picture I know you put out there no warrnanty againest mouse I am not going after that I am going after deisgn unsafe as I own a LG gas stove which is sealed and safe ps I sent in picture of my freezer no problem my fridge my dishwasher had for 5 years plus last two picture are of LG stove as you can see its well sealed I am going to use all my power to see this recall (Model no GCRG3060AFC AND SERIAL NO VF20516800 this gas stove is very dangerous as it has no protection to vital wiring) [protected]

Desired outcome: I am out 1500 and Its has caused a lot of worring about our safety

Frigidaire Microwave oven purchased from frigidaire: burns center of cooking surface

In October '22, I purchased a microwave oven from a local vendor, Modern Gas in Leesburg, GA, and the microwave has been malfunctioning: it will overhead or burn whatever is in the center of the cooking surface. I have been instructed to contact Frigidaire, but their customer service is actually better described as a customer repellant. Not only have they not helped, but they have told me there is nothing wrong.

I have detailed my frustrations in these letters linked below, and have written to their corporate headquarters, but still no response. I wonder if I have to take them to small claims to get their attention.

Frigidaire New microwave oven, model fmos1846bwa

On Jan 19, 2023 I ordered, and took delivery on 7 February 2023 of a new microwave oven. The box containing the oven was not damaged and was still taped and stapled closed. Nowhere in the box or in the oven were installation instructions or the back cabinet or top cabinet templates to be used to locate the mounting hardware.

I made more than 5 calls to Frigidaire's support and was able to talk to three representatives after struggling through Frigi's robot AI call routing system. The three reps I did make contact with, each hung up on me after telling them an answer to a question of theirs that they disagreed with. E.G. rep-"the instructions are in the microwave oven itself and the mounting templates are inside the box", my response was "They are not in the box or the microwave unit." The instructions that i found that the Frigi Support leads me to for the unit are close but in a few instances do not align with the unit's actual configuration.

I have to have the Top Cabinet Template to continue with the installation; I am replacing a similar Frigi MW unit that finally broke down after 25 years and the mounting devices are slightly different that the original.

Lowes appliances also attempted to talk to Frigidaire service phone suppoprt and where also hung up on after trying to help me.

PLEASE, will someone mail to me the full size TOP CABINET TEMPLATE for Model# FMOS1846BWA and the correct installation instructions? The new mounting holes for over top of MW Unit kitchen cabinet appear to be very close to the existing holes in the kitchen cabinet and I cannot get them wrong and then have to drill more holes.

Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator

I found water on my floor, looked all over to try to find where it was coming from, pulled out my refrigerator and saw that it was dripping from the back top where the icemaker is, and was also dripping from the bottom. I had a repairman come out he told me that the bottom seal was cracked and that would be $525 to fix. He then told me he had bad news for me -that behind the icemaker it was corroding and on the backside of the refrigerator it’s going to corrode through. He said it’s very rare for that to happen to a refrigerator and recommend that I didn’t pay to have the seal fixed and deemed my refrigerator unrepairable. I bought this refrigerator late 2018 bought a two year extended warranty and in that time I had to have three different repairman come out to fix the icemaker as it was not working. This may have lead to the issue that has happened now. I called Frigidaire and they told me that the refrigerator only had the one year warranty which I said I knew and then I had bought a two year extended warranty thru Lowes that has passed. The issue I have is that they do not stand by their product. I had saved up for years to buy a nice refrigerator and it lasted me less than four years. I don’t know what I’m gonna do as I cannot afford now to buy another refrigerator and that just absolutely makes me sick. They sold me a lemon refrigerator for a very high price and don’t stand behind their products. I think they need to make exceptions to help people when they sell you a Lemon! To top it all off it has ruined my kitchen floor which is warping with me drying it out.

Frigidaire Major appliances

The most worthless company I've ever had to deal with when it comes to an extended warranty. I purchased and paid for their extended warranty over 2 and a half years ago online at their website and it stated in their warranty book that if anything broke, then the parts would be warranted for repair or be replaced. I have the receipts to prove it. These are functional items. The Shelves rollers in my refrigerator with a metal screw snapped off and broke, well, they will not pay for these shelves, so I asked for a full refund as your warranty had changed, I was told in 2021, go figure, after I had purchased their extended warranty. They will not fulfill their obligation to their written contract. They did not even have my appliance warranties in their system until Jan 2023 when I called for repair on three of my appliances. Almost nearly three years after I had paid nearly 2K for an extended warranty for all of my appliances. They have stolen my money with no resolution. Like many have said with complaints all over the internet on their social platforms, you cannot contact them, or you have to wait an hour or longer to anyone in the US on this issue. I have dealt with these problems too. They will not even allow you to speak to a supervisor. The only way it looks like I am going to be able to get my money back is sue them in small claims court to receive my money back that they fraudulently are keeping and have made interest off of for almost three years now unless this complaint can resolve my issue. For their same extended warranty today, the cost is now double of what I had paid back in 2020. Of course, because their products are not manufactured to last. It even states that you can cancel the warranty at any time and will be refunded the remaining prorated amount left in the months left on the warranty. They will not even do this but, I am requesting for a full refund because they have broken their written contract extended warranty.

Desired outcome: A Full Refund from an extended warranty purchase.

Purchased a refrigerator from Stanton's appliances on 01/13/2023 ice maker hasn't worked from day one waited 2 weeks for service on 02/06/2023 nice guy but same problem I would like another refrigerator or money back so I can purchase something other than a frigidaire after reading the quality and reliability of a Frigidaire their looks like you have none

Desired outcome: Please have a credit given back to Stanton's appliance's so I can get something with an icemaker ( I need an ice make reason for this purchase ) and more reliable than what was delivered

Frigidaire Frigidaire gallery 4 door refrigerator

We purchased this refrigerator in April 2022. It has been working ok, but we were noticing the fan either never came on (no sound) or worked only occasionally. The drink/cooler drawer never really displayed the temps it was supposed to be set at. Then around Thanksgiving the digital readout board on the door started reading crazy numbers, alarms going off, and flashing the word "HI". The food inside was going from thawing to hard frozen and we couldn't get it to the right temps. We called Customer Service just before Thanksgiving (as I recall), and after a week's wait, they sent a repair man. He ordered two parts, a fan and a panel, and an appointment was made for January 24, 2023, to install them. One part arrived, and one didn't, so Frigidaire canceled my appointment!

Since this is a mechanical marvel, it does everything but repair itself, so the problems are getting worse. Now the icemaker is making ice but it's wet and drips constantly. I have tried calling customer service over and over again to find out what is happening with no answers, and each time I call the wait is longer and longer. One day (Monday Feb 6, 2023) I actually got a message saying due to high call volume they aren't even taking calls. Totally unacceptable. Where do we turn for help? I actually would like to return this expensive pile of garbage. I would like a call back: [protected]. Thank you.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I purchased a fridgidaire dishwasher at home depot November 2022, the dishwasher was installed the same day by a stellar 5 star fourth generation plumber. On that day after installation the plumber advised me there was a leak on the lower left corner when on full cycle. I called home depot the same day and after numerous calls I finally got a call from fridgidaire gave them serial and model number and explained it was a gasket. A part was sent to me and date for a technician, the tech never showed up and it was the wrong part. Again after numerous calls a technician came out looked inside the dishwasher ans said there was nothing wrong. Got in touch with Home Depot headquarters and a second technician was sent out and advised me the dishwasher wasn't installed right. I contacted the plumber and he came out showed me where the dishwasher was attached to the cabinets and brackets on top.

Today I had to have the plumber remove the dishwasher showed me how it was stalled and that only a gasket was needed due to the separation in the gasket, it's February and I haven't been able to use the washer

Been 10 days without a working refrigerator called January 30 to extended warranty been calling everyday even talked go manager n their excuse is they can't find a repairman in my area than expect me to find one I'm in my 70s n that's why I took extended warranty to protect my appliances My refrigerator is 1yr n 11 months old if u can't find someone to fix it give me a replacement or my Monday back so I don't have to want another 10 days with No refrigerator! Nded Help on this Matter!

Frigidaire Refrigerator

We purchased and entire Frigidaire appliance package from Lowes.

The refirgerator stopped cooling at the 10 month mark. We called Frigidaire and set up for a tech to come out to take a look.

He confirmed a catastrophic failure, lost all freon and could not be recharged.

Frigidaire insisted it could be repaired and tried to send another technician. The new technician would not come out because, per the tech, Frigidaire never pays them and they wanted me to put up my credit card to maintain the appointment.

So we got a third technician that finally came out and he confirmed the catastrophic failure. but now they are saying they will not cover because the third technician came out past the warranty date. Now keep in mind, we had a technician within warranty range.

They offered me 40% off a new appliance... lol. Based on my experience with their customer service, this is an insult.

Desired outcome: I'm not opposed to a replacement but would prefer a refund.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator

On Sunday,1/29/2023 my fridge had completely stopped cooling freezing. It is only 2 1/2 years old. What kind of warranty covers only 1 year? Supposedly this is the best brand and states it would last at least 12 yrs. My Kenmore fridge is at least 15 yrs old and I have never had any problems with it. I WOULD NOT recommend FRIGIDAIRE to anyone. What a piece a crap! The integrity of this company is not what it should be. It use to be one of the best in the USA. Not anymore! I had to throw out over $120 worth of food that really hurt especially since I am on a fixed income. Now I have to pay someone to come out and hopefully fix this piece of crap fridge and then I will have to replace the food that went bad that I had to trash. I am so stressed and angry!

I wish I never purchased this FRIGIDAIRE fridge BROKE down after only 2 1/2 years. Only gave a 1 year warranty. It was suppose be be good for at least 12yrs. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP! No more integrity with them!

Frigidaire Refrigerator

Ice maker recall, July 2022, working fine before recall work done. Recall work done late July, the ice maker didn’t work after this. I called back in on the recall number, explained the above and another appointment was set up. I was sent another recall part. Another company was sent out and I was told the water valve was bad and had to be ordered. I never heard anything so I called and was told the part was on back order. After hearing nothing again for a good while, I checked again and was told the same thing. My third call I was told they had returned the work order back to Electrolux because it wasn’t under warranty. After hours trying to reach someone, I was set up with another appointment with Electrolux. The repairman came out and said I needed a water valve. I had to pay for it to get it ordered. He came back and replaced the valve and the ice maker still didn’t work. He had to replace the recalled part with the second one I was sent to get the ice maker working

Frigidaire Frigidaire stove gcre3060af

Dear Frigidaire,

I am writing to bring to your attention a severe issue I have been experiencing with my stove control panel. I purchased a Frigidaire stove from Home Depot on 10/05/2021.

The panel has been displaying random error codes that cause the oven to beep. It randomly turns the oven on and off when it is not in use. The beeping is getting worse by the day and all hours of the night. This issue has been ongoing for over two months and has been getting worse each day.

I have conducted research online and have discovered that many other customers have had similar issues with this product. It is clear to me that this is a manufacturer defect, and I cannot believe that Frigidaire is still selling this product. It is unacceptable that a product that I spent over $1000 on is malfunctioning just after one year of use.

Moreover, the stove is turning on self-clean mode randomly, which is a fire hazard. I do not feel safe using this stove and would like to request a full refund for the product.

I am extremely disappointed with the performance of this product and would like to speak with a higher department at Frigidaire. The severity of this issue has me concerned that this could potentially be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and finding a resolution to this matter.
