I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on May 4th that has a bad condenser. A technician from A&E came out on 6/1/2023 and advise the refrigerator is ill-repairable and my tenant should receive a placement in a couple of days. Purchased in 2019. Ice buildup in refrigerator section for a year. 7-8 service calls to fix and still not resolved. Frigidaire will not assist and takes no responsibility for their malfunctioning appliance. Service repair no longer will assist as they do not believe the problem is fixable and Frigidaire needs to replace unit. Very difficult to reach C/S at Frigidaire ( hold times average 60 minutes.) If you do get to speak with someone, they claim they can’t help and put you back in the queue to wait another 60-90 minutes. Repair company won’t help any longer and Frigidaire is not interested. Next steps?

On May 12, 2023, our refrigerator went completely out.
The former owner pulled his receipts and called Brand Smart. and found out that all appliances were still under the one-year warranty, (May 15, 2022.) BrandsMart provided us with the Frigidaire Warranty Dept info. I called but they were closed until Monday, May 15, 2023.
It was a challenge to get someone to address our concerns. Explained I had a daughter with a disability and we needed our refrigerator. We waited days for a technician, we waited a week for the compressor, then we waited for an Electrolux technician.
Desired outcome: From May 12, 2023, until today, May 30, 2023, no refrigerator. All food was lost and my daughter's health was at Risk. I feel that some compensation could be provided for the foods lost and the inconvenience.
Damage to my vinyl flooring while repairing my refrigerator.
My Icemaker quit working within 30 days. Y'all sent a Tech. out. Well he hung the door wrong and when he pulled the refrigerator out he tore my Vinyl Flooring. I had to get and confront him about it. He said he would turn it in. well guess he did but it didn't do me any good. I have called several 800#, Bria Priddy who in charge of Risk Management. Best Servicer of America Inc. who sent out the first Tech. Today they told me there was to much time has passed and they couldn't do anything about it. They said they had called me but I showed no record. I have three work orders #[protected], [protected] and S-227120. This item has never been resolved. I have talked to people till I'm blue in the face. so can you please help me.

Chest Freezer 19.8 CU FT
My fiancé and I purchased a Frigidaire freezer from a third party company back in January of 2022. We paid $800 for the freezer that we needed for food storage, as we had limited space in our current freezer. Since it was a Frigidaire product, we had no concern about getting an additional warranty outside of the one year, as Frigidaire is allegedly one of the most reliable brands out there. Upon plugging in the freezer, we were only met with a slew of problems.
The freezer has not worked for us since day one. Since we didn't realize that the freezer was not working until the middle of February, we lost the opportunity to return the freezer to the store we purchased it from for a free replacement. I called the store manager who said he would assist us by replacing it; however, he could only do so if Frigidaire was unable to fix the freezer. He said I would have to let Frigidaire complete their repairs.
The A&E technician came out and allegedly fixed the freezer. It wasn't ran after he fixed it because we didn't need it; the technician said not to turn it on until we needed it. At that point, it was March 28th 2022. We didn't need to plug it in again until the end of November of 2022 on the 26th. It ran for about 1 day at a cold temperature to our knowledge, and then it must have stopped working after that. We didn't find this out until January, though, since the light was still on, and the freezer was making sounds as though it was still working.
We smelled something awful in our garage and opened the freezer about 6 weeks later. We found that the freezer was over 70 degrees inside, even though the hottest it was outside was 55 degrees. Everything in the freezer rotted and was moldy.
We were just now able to get a different technician out to diagnose the freezer again (May 22nd of 2023) due to the high demand in the area. We went with another company because when we called A&E directly at the start of January to get service out, they said the soonest they could go out was February 5th 2023. We found the issue on January 1st, called them on January 2nd, and our warranty was set to expire on the 30th of January 2023. So, we would be at a loss of money anyway; it was a lose-lose situation.
We chose to go with an uninterested technician that would give us an unbiased diagnosis. They confirmed there is nothing they can do to fix the freezer. There is a sealing and insulation issue with the compressor and the other internal components, so the temperature gauge stays open. This causes the compressor to run excessively, and that makes it short circuit. This is the second compressor that has gone bad in this freezer due to that in less than 12 months. What's worse is that we cannot purchase the parts to fix the freezer, as Frigidaire stopped manufacturing the parts to repair it. It is discontinued, and we are stuck with an $800 loss. We found this out on 5/22/23.
Frigidaire will not refund us the money we lost. We are well over 1 year of not having a functioning freezer that was never functional in the first place. They literally discontinued the parts to fix it because it doesn't work. It is truly a lemon product that they never recalled, and they never made it right with us.
We will never buy another product through Frigidaire, as they are not as reliable of a company as we were informed. Overall, this has been an absolutely terrible experience and customer service journey for us. We will do everything we can to keep people aware how awful the product is.
Desired outcome: We would ideally get our $800 back, but we know that will never happen. So, instead, we just want everyone to know that Frigidaire's products are not reliable.

Frigdaire Professional Series Stove/Oven
I recently was self cleaning my oven and the panel said they was a error and started beeping. No matter what I tried I could not get it to stop. Upon further research on the internet several comments on do not use self cleaning feature as many have had issues. Mine seems to freeze up the control panel each time as I have not been able to stop until complete cycle. I called your helpline and the person was of no help at all. You might want to pass this on as after self clean continue and very hot I was concerned it might become hazard.\
I resolved by turning off the breaker switch ( could have also unplugged electric connections) to my oven. My stove/oven is electric with gas top. After being off for several hours, when I turned back on and oven had cooled the panel allowed me to turn off thr self cleaning and unlock door avoiding any issues.
Gallery air fry range
Purchased April 2022 and had immediate gas odor after installation. Called Frigidaire customer service on April 7 and was advised to wait and see if the odor disappeared. They never advised how long to wait and instead of sending a service representative immediately to correct the issue, they attempted to save money on what they considered a nuisance call. I called again on May 12, 2023 to advise the issue was not resolved itself and would require service. They advised me it was past warranty and they would not service the range at their expense. Since they knew they have a defective product they are obligated to service follow up to ensure the safety of the owner. They did nothing to follow up on my original complaint so as to discharge their responsibility for this issue.
Desired outcome: They need to fix this range at their expense.
Warranty replacement for DOA purchase of GHWQ083WC1 AC direct from Frigidaire.com
April 12, 2023 – order placed for 8,000 BTU air conditioner model GHWQ083WC1 direct from Frigidaire.com April 17, 2023 – air conditioner arrived. Powered up – only the power button worked, none of the other front panel buttons worked. The remote control did not work. April 18, called [protected] as required for warranty claim. Was shuttled from person to person for 1 hour 24 minutes 42 seconds. One person claimed that serial number had already been registered to someone else. Others were unable to comprehend why the air conditioner could not be used. Finally got someone who said they would send me an email with form to fill in to get warranty replacement ordered. April 18, filled in form, took screen shot of order (Frigidaire never sent a receipt). Emailed to na. [protected]@electrolux.com exactly as specified on form. May 4 – still no response, so called [protected] as Frigidaire as there had been no response. Was shuttled from person to person on a call that lasted 3 hours 22 minutes, 43 seconds. I was told they had no record of any contact. I was told they had all the paperwork, but it needed to be approved by b2b. Finally I reached a person who said her supervisor said I would need to start all over. I asked to speak to her supervisor. At his request I re-sent the documents to [protected]@electrolux.com. Person put me on hold, then acknowledged receipt of the email. After a period on hold again, he said that he had processed the order to replace the air conditioner, and that I would receive a tracking number in email within 1-2 days. May 8. No tracking number. No air conditioner.
Desired outcome: Honor the warranty
Wow, thought I did my due diligence in choosing this brand. Boy oh boy was I wrong. I will surely let family and friends know though. By far the worst customer service EVER.
Cooktop
I have a glass cooktop that broke in March of 2023. It was covered under the one year warrant until 4/2/23. The break ocurred when I slightly moved it during cleaning.
I have been reaching out to Frigidaire for 2+ months with significant problems. The cooktop has yet to be replaced and I have spent over 5 hours on phone calls and being put on hold. The customer service is exceptionally poor and it appears that the agents have little to no ability to resolve customer service issues.
Desired outcome: Replacement of the glass.
Frigidaire 20.5 cu. ft. top freezer refrigerator
I bought this refrigerator just under a yr ago still covered by manufactures warranty. It stopped working I called in! You all called a place twin city appliance to come fix it. The repair person opened the door said I will order some parts! 3 wks later I call back because now there is a smell perminating thru my house and we all have headaches and coughing! Then my son could not breath. We took him to emergency room! They said they could not find any thing wrong but his throat was swollen and it must be some thing he is breathing in! I then move the fridge out side! We all started to get better within 24 hrs. My son took days to be able to breath better! I call you all and report this! You again sent out twin city, they said it was a freon leak and that they would order parts. I called you all again. In the mean time the warrantee from the manufacture (YOU) has gone out because now it has been more than a yr. I also bought the extended warrantee because I new Frigidaire would try to say well no warrantee now. We cant help you. Which on the last 3 calls was told to me and thats a crock - Even tho it has not been fixed yet from the first call! which was under warrantee. so now its been 3 months still no working fridge for my family. Still leaking freon! I can prove my child went to the er the same time this was leaking! How many times are you going to come replace parts and risk peoples lives? How many months am I supposed to be with out a product I pd for! How long does it take to fix a fridge and how much money are you wasting on a person to keep coming out guessing on what is wrong! how many times Do we have to keep having this unit charged and leak befor we die from the toxic fumes from this unit! its an 800 dol unit and you have already spent whey more on trying to fix it! It would seam to reason that after a certain dollar amount you would replace the product. It also seams to reason that a unit that has not been fixed from the first time I called and is leaking toxic chemicals into a family home would be replaced asap before a death accouris from it! I have called over 10 times in total to have this fixed. I have been hung up on, on hold for hrs, and have had my families life at risk because of your negligence on handling this matter! I have had to use a cooler for my food for months and our lives are at a health risk / Possiable death because Frigidaire wants to keep trying to fix something that is unfixable!
Desired outcome: Another unit with a warrantee or my money back to go buy from a reputable company! And all other units reported to be leaking freon to be immediately replaced before Frigidaire is paying for funerals!
Refrigerator
We purchased a refrigerator from Lowes. Within 1 1/2 years. The bottom of the refrigerator is cracked and broken. Using duck tape to seal up holes at bottom of the refrigerator. Three of the four plastic shelves are broken. One of the shelves is being held on by duct tape. The ice dispenser only worked for one week after buying sever pieces for water flow.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome is to notify people to never purchase from Lowes or another Frigidaire. The cheaper brand work just as well considering the cheap material. The plastic broke in my hand.
Refrigerator and warranty
We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in June of 2022. When we returned to Tennessee in January of 2023 all the things in the refrigerator had been spoiled. After a struggle with the warranty representative they sent out a repairman. He ordered a new board and came another time to install. This still didn’t fix it. The lights work but does not get cold. We are unsure if it ever worked effectively. The repairman deemed it unrepairable. The Frigidaire warranty department wanted to send out another repairman. They couldn’t find one that would take the time to come out because we are out of their area. They tried to send one from 12 hours away once. Every time we call we keep getting the same runaround. It’s been four months with not refrigerator and nobody wants to do anything about it. Lowe’s, where we purchased it said they can’t do nothing until we have had it for a year. We are old and can’t keep living like this. HELP

My stove has nice silver color knobs. The stove is black. When I washed the knobs the coating began peeling on all 5 of them. They look awful. I think they are defective and should be replaced. I bought stove two years ago at Van Vreedes in Oshkosh. Don't know exact date. I did not use harsh chemicals on knobs, just Dawn dish soap. The stove does not look nice with the black, cheap replacement knobs I got from Amazon. The original knobs should last as long as the stove. Fridge freezer
8 weeks ago, my refrigerator broke down. We contacted frigidaire, because we have warranty on the appliance. A week later frigidaire sent out the first repair person who said that the refrigerator could not be fixed. We contacted frigidaire again, expecting for them to give us a new refrigerator. However, frigidaire told us that they needed to send out 3 other repair persons to confirm what the 1st repair person said..."company policy". 4 weeks later all 3-repair persons said that our fridge could not be repaired!
Frigidaire, then told us that we had to wait an extra 10 days before we could get a new refrigerator and that they would send it to our local home depot store for delivery. I called home depot - they never even heard of frigidaire doing anything like this before. Home depot was adamant that they have not received any communication from frigidaire. Home depot stated that they have nothing to do with a replacement of our new refrigerator and that frigidaire should send the refrigerator directly from themselves. Home depot checked no paperwork from frigidaire. Called frigidaire... Still waiting on a replacement. I would never recommend, nor would we buy from frigidaire again! The worst company ever! Never buy from them! 1

a) I purchase this in Jan 2023, received and installed it in late Jan 2020
b) noticed that neither the Microwave nor the convection portion was working properly
c) called frigidaire customer service and set up an appointment for a technician, the tech came over and determined that the fan and magnetometer is malfunctioning
d) A few weeks later the same tech arrived with the parts, upon opening the unit he found that the original fan had a broken blade, so he replaced the blade and the magnetometer
c) still the unit had the same problems, so I called and requested a 3rd service visit. the tech arrived and did several extensive multimeter-type tests and could not find any issues, SO HE CALLED YOUR HIGHER LEVEL TECH and they did more extensive tests, finally when the microwave/convection oven did not meet the advertised 425 degrees as advertised on their web page and in the manual, the higher level tech simply said that this particular model does not go beyond 325 degrees despite what is indicated in the manual and web page, but he can not recommend a replacement because "the unit is working as designed" ...which implies to me that the advertisement is not stating the truth to consumers
2. I called customer service again at least 3-4 more long and frustrating times, finally the agent did look at the web page and manual and confirmed that it is listed to go to 425 degrees but could not issue a replacement. (note) these calls had an extensive waiting period of up to 30 min to an hour... finally on the 5th call customer service transferred me to a supervisor at my request, which the system or someone just hung up on me after about an hour of wait.
3. Finally, I decided that my next best option is to chat...the first 3 chat sessions were just as frustrating, I had to explain the whole history each time with no one seems to understand the full situation and just pass me on to the next chat department...this went on and on...it seemed that perhaps I would just give up because this has been in progress for 2 1/2 months by this juncture., Then at about the 4th chat, someone finally understood what I was saying and vowed to pass this info to Management and attempt to issue me a unit that can indeed go up to 425 degrees, and I would be hearing back in a few weeks, she even asks for my shipping address...etc...I had hope...after 3 weeks of waiting for a pronouncement, there was nothing...
so back to the drawing board.
4. so I finally went through 2 more chat sessions only to be told that they have no record of my chat with the agent who allegedly escalated the incident and there is nothing they could do
NOTE: this has been going on now for close to 3 months and countless hours on the phone and/or chat and wait
Finally, it leads me to this conclusion...one more attempt before I move forward with external agencies...this is not my preferred method because all I want is a unit that does as advertize or my money back...
I finally received an email from the alleged supervisor who simply said the following:
We apologized for the inconvenience that has caused you, I've checked your account, recently, there is a replacement claim that was created last month, and unfortunately the claim is denied for insufficient information. Since this claim was denied. I've determined that our technician has been diagnose your unit, and they have stated that this unit working as design which means that this operations is normal. Which means our tech has been professionally inspected with your unit, we cannot file a replacement claim in this matter.
this statement is a standard denial any wrong doing statment...they advertize 450 degrees but the unit only delivers 325 by design...this is faults advertising and is designed to deceive the consumer
note: I have been trying to resolve this for 3 months now...i can not wait any longer It is clear that this approaches consumer fraud

February 27th my completed documents were received by Frigidaire/Electrolux. Vince confirmed receipt of a second email with all the documentation on April 3rd. According to the warranty replacement documents they sent me, I should have had my replacement Gallery Series Microwave in 7-10 days. It's been 7 weeks and they have given me excuses. They said LOWES couldn't be reached, yet I called and the manager said they had other RAs from other companies, but not mine from Frigidaire/Electrolux. Technical difficulties is a recurring excuse. No supervisor ever gets on the phone or emails/calls back as promised. The agents keep saying they have to send a email to the corporate office to find out what the hold up is, but the number I keep calling IS the coporate office! LOWES said they'll accept all the documentation as proof of a defective product and will use that as the RA to provide me with a new replacement microwave. I can't get the warranty service to INSTALL the microwave unless they get their act together and actually submit the RA paperwork to LOWES!
Desired outcome: I paid for a warranty on a defective product, so replace my defective product and pay for installation!!
Frigidaire top mpont frig
I purchased my frig less than two yeas ago. I did not purchase an extended warranty because it is so pricey. I guess it is no wonder that you want a high appraisal if this is all the time they last. The frig has a gas leak and will cost 1600.00 to repair. I did complain before and have had no response. I am not surprised after seeing you have only resolved 100 cases out of 834 complaints. I will have to buy another frig and it will not be frigidaire

No refrigerator for 8 months
A serious review should be conducted of this company. We have been swindled. It has been 8 months without a refrigerator in our home and there is no end in sight. Technicians have been to our home 3 times already but Frigidaire has it recorded as 1 functional claim.

October 27 2022- 1st Technician to assess
January 18, 2023 - technician came to repair with parts but he discovered the parts were not correct and he re-ordered parts.
March 13, 2023 - repair made with correct parts (3rd-time technicians in house to make the repair)
March 28, 2023 - homeowner called to inform of break and to ask for a refund. Customer Service said they would send someone out on April 31, 2023 but they never did. Ref # [protected].
April 12, 2023 - homeowner called because of a non-response. No email, no appointment for service, no follow-up. Was informed by Arlene "supervisor" that 3 functional claims must be entered before they will remove this lemon from our house and provide some "kind of concession".
Desired outcome: Best option: Money back for original purchase. We do not want to work with a dysfunctional company that feels it is okay to drop off lemons in people's homes and leave them refrigerator-less for a year.
