Frigidaire Convection microwave

1. Item: Frigidaire Gallery 1.5 Cu.ft Over-the -Range Microwave with Convection

Model: FGBM15WCVFB
Serial: KG23627905

a) I purchase this in Jan 2023, received and installed it in late Jan 2020

b) noticed that neither the Microwave nor the convection portion was working properly

c) called frigidaire customer service and set up an appointment for a technician, the tech came over and determined that the fan and magnetometer is malfunctioning

d) A few weeks later the same tech arrived with the parts, upon opening the unit he found that the original fan had a broken blade, so he replaced the blade and the magnetometer

c) still the unit had the same problems, so I called and requested a 3rd service visit. the tech arrived and did several extensive multimeter-type tests and could not find any issues, SO HE CALLED YOUR HIGHER LEVEL TECH and they did more extensive tests, finally when the microwave/convection oven did not meet the advertised 425 degrees as advertised on their web page and in the manual, the higher level tech simply said that this particular model does not go beyond 325 degrees despite what is indicated in the manual and web page, but he can not recommend a replacement because "the unit is working as designed" ...which implies to me that the advertisement is not stating the truth to consumers

2. I called customer service again at least 3-4 more long and frustrating times, finally the agent did look at the web page and manual and confirmed that it is listed to go to 425 degrees but could not issue a replacement. (note) these calls had an extensive waiting period of up to 30 min to an hour... finally on the 5th call customer service transferred me to a supervisor at my request, which the system or someone just hung up on me after about an hour of wait.

3. Finally, I decided that my next best option is to chat...the first 3 chat sessions were just as frustrating, I had to explain the whole history each time with no one seems to understand the full situation and just pass me on to the next chat department...this went on and on...it seemed that perhaps I would just give up because this has been in progress for 2 1/2 months by this juncture., Then at about the 4th chat, someone finally understood what I was saying and vowed to pass this info to Management and attempt to issue me a unit that can indeed go up to 425 degrees, and I would be hearing back in a few weeks, she even asks for my shipping address...etc...I had hope...after 3 weeks of waiting for a pronouncement, there was nothing...

so back to the drawing board.

4. so I finally went through 2 more chat sessions only to be told that they have no record of my chat with the agent who allegedly escalated the incident and there is nothing they could do

NOTE: this has been going on now for close to 3 months and countless hours on the phone and/or chat and wait

Finally, it leads me to this conclusion...one more attempt before I move forward with external agencies...this is not my preferred method because all I want is a unit that does as advertize or my money back...

I finally received an email from the alleged supervisor who simply said the following:

We apologized for the inconvenience that has caused you, I've checked your account, recently, there is a replacement claim that was created last month, and unfortunately the claim is denied for insufficient information. Since this claim was denied. I've determined that our technician has been diagnose your unit, and they have stated that this unit working as design which means that this operations is normal. Which means our tech has been professionally inspected with your unit, we cannot file a replacement claim in this matter.

this statement is a standard denial any wrong doing statment...they advertize 450 degrees but the unit only delivers 325 by design...this is faults advertising and is designed to deceive the consumer

note: I have been trying to resolve this for 3 months now...i can not wait any longer It is clear that this approaches consumer fraud

I PURCHASE THIS UNIT SPECIFICALLY FOR ITS 425 DEGREES CAPACITY AS ADVERTISED

please help

Frigidaire Corporate office

February 27th my completed documents were received by Frigidaire/Electrolux. Vince confirmed receipt of a second email with all the documentation on April 3rd. According to the warranty replacement documents they sent me, I should have had my replacement Gallery Series Microwave in 7-10 days. It's been 7 weeks and they have given me excuses. They said LOWES couldn't be reached, yet I called and the manager said they had other RAs from other companies, but not mine from Frigidaire/Electrolux. Technical difficulties is a recurring excuse. No supervisor ever gets on the phone or emails/calls back as promised. The agents keep saying they have to send a email to the corporate office to find out what the hold up is, but the number I keep calling IS the coporate office! LOWES said they'll accept all the documentation as proof of a defective product and will use that as the RA to provide me with a new replacement microwave. I can't get the warranty service to INSTALL the microwave unless they get their act together and actually submit the RA paperwork to LOWES!

Desired outcome: I paid for a warranty on a defective product, so replace my defective product and pay for installation!!

Frigidaire Frigidaire top mpont frig

I purchased my frig less than two yeas ago. I did not purchase an extended warranty because it is so pricey. I guess it is no wonder that you want a high appraisal if this is all the time they last. The frig has a gas leak and will cost 1600.00 to repair. I did complain before and have had no response. I am not surprised after seeing you have only resolved 100 cases out of 834 complaints. I will have to buy another frig and it will not be frigidaire

Frigidaire No refrigerator for 8 months

A serious review should be conducted of this company. We have been swindled. It has been 8 months without a refrigerator in our home and there is no end in sight. Technicians have been to our home 3 times already but Frigidaire has it recorded as 1 functional claim.

May 17, 2022 - ordered refrigerator

May 28, 2022 - delivered

October 2022 - stopped working

October 14, 2022 - called Frigidaire for service

October 2022 through March 2023 (5 months) - Part delays and incorrect parts shipped

October 27 2022- 1st Technician to assess

January 18, 2023 - technician came to repair with parts but he discovered the parts were not correct and he re-ordered parts.

March 13, 2023 - repair made with correct parts (3rd-time technicians in house to make the repair)

March 28, 2023 - homeowner called to inform of break and to ask for a refund. Customer Service said they would send someone out on April 31, 2023 but they never did. Ref # [protected].

April 12, 2023 - homeowner called because of a non-response. No email, no appointment for service, no follow-up. Was informed by Arlene "supervisor" that 3 functional claims must be entered before they will remove this lemon from our house and provide some "kind of concession".

Desired outcome: Best option: Money back for original purchase. We do not want to work with a dysfunctional company that feels it is okay to drop off lemons in people's homes and leave them refrigerator-less for a year.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator

Complaint # [protected]: My husband and I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot 11/14/22. In February 2023 the freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling. The light and fan were still working. I phoned Frigidaire, who did diagnostics over the phone. It was determined the appliance would need to be repaired. The agent told me I would have to call A&E Factory Service to arrange an appointment. A&E told me if I made the appointment directly, I would be charged with the repair. During a second call to Frigidaire, I was told your agent would call A&E and I would receive a return call from A&E to schedule an appointment in 3 business days. I never received a call. Third call to Frigidaire on 2/14/2023: I was told I would receive a refund via virtual check as service was not available in our area. I never received this. During one of these calls with Frigidaire, I was given a RGA number (SS7402459932) and told to call the Home Depot where the item was purchased. The personnel at Home Depot in Avondale AZ informed me the appliance was still under manufacturer warranty and there was nothing they could do. Frigidaire Induction cooktop

I purchased this induction cook top 12/2022 and have had nothing but issues with it. I have called customer service 15-20 times to no avail. Either they hand-up on me or the operator states they have many calls in que to call back later.

I am going on Social media and advice all 10,000 follows to never purchase this high ineffective cooktop from Frigidaire.

Customer Service is horrible. For holidays I have had to spend them with Family because I can not use my 4 month old cooktop.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator

I was charged $357 to have my 6 year old unit repaired. After 2 1/2 months I was told they are still waiting on a part. I was also told they MAY refund my some of my money….maybe. I was also told some would call me or email me with information. Never happened. I have called so many times and got no where. Call center was clearly overseas and obviously they couldn’t care less. Never again any Frigidaire products.

Frigidaire Stove

Purchased a Frigidaire stove and once installed had issues with burners not working, lights not shutting off and the digital panel not working. We have had 5 service calls where the technican cut and spliced wires and each time he left the stove was in worse condition. As of today, the stove still does not work properly and spending our Easter at a restaurant because we cannot cook. We are also afraid that this stove will catch fire due to all the rewiring. Avoid at all costs.

Frigidaire Frigidaire stainless steel frig

I purchase a brand new frigidaire frig not even two years ago. My frig began freezing sometimes top shelf and sometimes lower shelf.. Because it is off warranty I called an independent professional and I have dealt with them for many years, They are very reliable. Apparently my frig has a gas leak and will cost 1600 dollars to repair. I did not take the extended warranty as I relied on the seller The Brick and had always had good luck with frigidare . I cant believe that a expensive frig wouls only last this long

Unfortunately even the best products can have issues. I don't blame you for wanting it repaired or replaced; without an extended warranty, it is under your control to cover the costs.

For that amount, I think I'd suggest replacing it.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I purchased this Dishwasher about 5 years ago. Last year the dishwasher stopped at .20. I went into the Frigidaire Website for repair and found High Quality Services. Unfortunately it is only the name but not the service. He came out diagnosed the issue and told me around $220.00 repair cost. Two weeks later he came installed a part collected the remaining repair cost. Within weeks the dishwasher had the same issue. It stopped with the message .20 again and again. He came out again reset the electronic and tried to find the cause. He did not fix the dishwasher. Continues email correspondence with no response over a period of months. He yells at you when you call him and is rude. I asked him to refund 50% of the non-repair so I can find a repair service to diagnose the issue and repair the dishwasher. He called me and yelled and I hung up. that is this. The dishwasher still stops at special wash start 199 stops at 140 and regular wash 163 stops at 99 minutes. If I knew this, I would not started this ordeal and purchased a new dishwasher. I do not understand how Frigidaire supports this repair services

Desired outcome: I request a refund from this company and a repair service who can repair the dishwasher.

Frigidaire 22.3 Cu. Ft. 33" Standard Depth Side by Side Refrigerator

I purchased the refrigerator in September 2021 soon after the ice maker was recalled. I have had numerous complaints and the technician has come out several times. I still continue to have problems with the refrigerator running hot, ice melting, makes loud noises and beeps, all of these was to be fixed by the technician. I am very disappointed and feel robbed of $1200.

This is the 3rd time all of my food has been defrosted.

Frigidaire Frigidaire induction stove

We bought a Frigidaire Induction oven in February, 2023, in part as a commitment to climate change action.

From the first time we used the oven there were problems. Each and every time I baked, on convection or regular bake cycle, the goods came out burnt! One rack of muffins - burnt; 2 racks of cookies - top rack burnt (even though I switched them part way through); rolls - uneven cooking again!

There have been two service calls out to check the oven. It gets up to the required temperature so why is the baking uneven? No one knows or seems to care. I can’t use the oven. This was brand new, less than a month old when I first contacted Frigidaire customer service. I have requested a supervisor call back, none have been forthcoming.

The store we bought it from, because Frigidaire refuse to acknowledge any problem, will charge us a 25% “restore” fee. At this point, I am willing to pay that but, we can’t get a new induction oven until June!

Why, we would waste time, money, and energy trying to get a fair resolution to this issue if we didn’t believe there is a problem? I cannot use the oven!

Today, we notice that this oven is no longer available on the Frigidaire website. Does this indicate that there is a known problem with this unit?

Frigidaire frigidaire gallery 27.8 cu. ft. french door refrigerator

Purchased the product on 2/26/23 at local LOWES. Around 3/1/23 we notice a "HI Temp (freezer)" error code (beeping) on the control panel. After resetting the temps on the panel a number of times, we contacted Frigidaire (approx. a week later) to schedule a repair. A tech came on 3/14/23; performed a diagnosis; reportedly reconnected "a loose wire;" and assured us the problem had been resolved. "It's not giving any codes; so you're good to go." Within 2hrs of him leaving, we started having the same problem. By now; however, the bottom freezer had stopped freezing completely and thawing. When the tech didn't respond to text messages, sent the same day, we called Frigidaire back AGAIN. They sent the same tech back out 2 days later (3/16). He diagnosed the problem as a failed compressor and told us the part had been ordered and he would come back when it came in to install it. I called Frigidaire today (3/21/23) ... to inquire about the status of the part. The CS rep (Pam) kept repeatedly cutting me off by reading the warranty to me, which I tried to explain I was already familiar with, as I had read it myself. I was just trying to find out when I could expect the product to be repaired or replaced. After a bit of back and forth about my original question/concern not being addressed the CS rep abruptly hung up on me, without warning. I have not been "holding" to file a complaint or speak to someone else at Frigidaire for at least 45mins!

Frigidaire Frigidaire Dishwasher Model FFCD2413UW5A

I purchased the Fridigadaire Dishwasher Model FFCD2413UW5A and Serial Number TH24693333 on 1/4/23 from Lowes in Middletown, NY. I just installed it in my house on 3/2/23. I have tried several times to run the dishwasher to clean a small load of dishes and have had no luck. In order to start the dishwasher or try and change any of the settings, I have to put all my weight behind pushing the control panel start button or cycle button. By the time I get the dishwasher working my fingers are sore. There seems to be a problem with the control panel. When the dishwasher starts to run, there is a rubbing noise within the dishwasher. I have opened it during cycles and found nothing in the way of the spinning equipment. The dishes are not get cleaned and I ran the same dishes through 3 cycles. Before I replace the old dishwasher, there was one in its place that for years I had no issues with.

I have tried to call Frigidaire 3 times. Each time I was on hold for 1 hour and each time they needed something else. The first time I had to go and get the serial number, the second time I need to run the dishwasher while on the phone and the third time I was disconnected after 1 1/2 hours. I have tried patiently to resolve this with Frigidaire but they are unwilling to help. I cannot spend day after day trying to reach them.

Frigidaire House full of frigidaire appliances

November 2022 purchased Frigidaire Professional Series Refrigerator, Gas Range, Dishwasher, Electrolux/Whirlpool Washer and Dryer
Dryer - I have had nothing but trouble. I am on my 3rd dryer. 1st one had bad burner, 2nd wouldn't heat at all. 3rd one heats fine, predictive dry not functioning properly. (Just going to live with it)
Range - error code and wasn't heating properly. Tech came, temp set at factory was 20 degrees low. Cleared error code - so far so good.
Dishwasher - detergent door fell of 3rd time using. Tech repaired.
Now stops mid cycle, flashes and beeps - error code. (possible heater error)
I did hard reset like tech said but still stopping mid cycle.
Fridge has alarm when power goes out. Beeps until reset. Not fun when power goes out in the middle of the night. I called tech support and they tried to walk me through turning off alarm. Unfortunately control panel not responding properly and alarm could not be shut off. Tech being sent.
I called Frigidaire and inquired about extended warranty. Very concerned these issues will continue after manufactures warranty expires. Apparently can't get extended warranty on products not working properly. Interesting - even if they are only 4 months old.
Do your homework - look at reviews before purchasing Frigidaire products.
I spent a lot on money on these high end products and not impressed. I have had to take several days off work to meet the technicians. Techs have been at my house 5 times. 6th visit next week. Should have gone with the GE Suite.

Desired outcome: I would like Frigidaire to cover the cost of the extended warranty on these products and give me peace of mind knowing they stand behind their products.

Frigidaire Microwave

My microwave has not been working for the last

6 month. Frigidaire has sent countless repair

Technicians and was not able to fix the problem. I have contacted Frigidaire multiple of times with no resolution. Always the same response “a supervisor will contact me with in 5-7 days” no supervisor has yet to call. had to buy a small

Microwave in the meantime. It seems Frigidaire

Does not stand by their products or their customers. I also have an extended warranty. They just don’t care. Thank you

I bought a two door frigidiare Sept. 2022 Your service men been out here about 6 times very loud noise from frig. Last service man said I need to order you a new fan behine ice macker it will take a couple of wk. to order. 02/28/23 frigidiare blew up. Fire Department took lots of pictures. They will send you pictures of damage also WRAL Ral. NC Return money or frig. Do not have code It blew up Your employees were not helpful and rude. my number [protected]

called in on 2/21/23 to get a repair for microwave but said it may be a buyback.Sent in all the information required on 2/21/23 and today is 3/8/23 and no answer.With at least 4 phone calls to the company no one seems to have any answers.this is the answer in an email I was given.Thank you, we have received your email submission for a buyback. If all of the required documents were attached, we will validate against your claim. Within 10 business days, you will either receive notification of payment or notification of invalid or missing documents.

If you do not hear anything after 10 days, please resubmit all requested documents as per letter. Please contact Frigidaire at [protected] for any questions/update requests. This email is only for completed submissions, and not monitored for correspondence.

Frigidaire 36 inch Frigidaire gas cooktop

We had our Fridgedare 36 inch gas cooktop installed professionally 2 years ago. Friday, March 3, my husband turned the front burner on & the flames shot up about a foot. He turned it off & turned a different one one & there was an explosion! His fingers got burned & I know it could have been worse. He turned the gas off to the house & we called our gas provider. The technician said no leaks in the lines to the stove but there was in the stove unit. It was not a cheap unit & now I have to purchase a new one. Thank goodness we didn’t die or our house gotten blown up. Anyone else have this issue?

Frigidaire Top Refridgerator purchased on 12/21, delivered on 12/31

The refrigerator has not worked. We have had 4 service calls, a part replacement and now being told that we need a new compressor for a less than 2-month-old refrigerator. Getting support has been difficult. I'm officially posting on multiple areas. This refrigerator was purchased for our mother who is 77 years old, who has been without a working refrigerator and require medication to be refrigerated. Her medication is currently being housed at the neighbors, this is unacceptable!

The ongoing medical implications are mounting.
