Food Lion Hired and unhired

My name is Michele Mosley, I was a former employee up until the COVID epidemic. I had been with foodlion going on 4 years. My son was also employed with foodlion he has been with them since 16 years old he is now 34. He is now back with foodlion after he was terminated wrongly after contacting COVID. We both were terminated same day, from 2 different stores. My termination was a fabricated lie, mistake, anything but the truth. Anyway after 2 years I was offered to comeback and was excited to return to foodlion seeing I loved my job as a cake dercorater and this was my store, I shopped at this store, I embraced my fellow employees as family along with the very best customers in the world. So I was interviewed hired and was logged in to onboard, ready to start the following day. I quit my job and was ready to start next day, when store manager informed me I was being unhired. How does this happen, how can someone hire you and unhire you literally on your first day. Now I am without a job, I am going to lose my home and have no other recourse but to retain a attorney and try to make this right some how. HR should have at least notified someone earlier that I was not subject to be rehired. My life is in shambles and I can't tell you just how this has affected me.

I placed a pick up order on sunday the 24th... I had an emergency and was unable to pick up order. I called store (934 main st lancaster sc 29720) and was told if I didn't pick it up then items would be put back and refund would be issued. 4 days later and nothing. Called back and was told I needed to reach out to instacart.. I didn't order through instacart I ordered on foodlion to go app like I always do

Food Lion employee

This employee had made a comment which she should of never new about, and threw it in my face. This bi-polar employee needs some attitude ajustment! She is very rude! Name Brittney Cantillo. I have the comments she made to me, and would something done!

I was told by Joel Smith that nothing would be said about myself, and if anything did, there would be some sort of retaliation.

She had no right in the words she said, and I will not have her running her mouth. Apparently the information she has is wrong.

Food Lion Online delivery order

I placed an online order to be delivered to my step sons at their moms house so they’d have groceries and necessities. I was informed that they got everything double 2 days later. Checked into it and the order was shopped twice once delivered at 9:38 am on6-8-23 and again at 10:27am same day. When I called she said the order was put in again at 9:38. The same time it got delivered. I was charged twice 221.85 and 190.80 price difference because two different people shopped 2 different times so the substitutes were different. I didn’t ask for two orders be delivered and I was told I’d be getting my money back for one order. The lady said it must have been a glitch in the system and wanted to give me that much food Lion credit which doesn’t pay my rent or power. But still yet I’ve not gotten any credit nor have I’ve recorded my money back. I’m very angry and disappointed. If I wanted double of everything delivered I would had made quality adjustments not paid 31.38 on fees and tips to do that then less than an hour later pay 30.10 to have everything delivered again. And she told me when I called that I’d get my money back. But still nothing. Contacted my bank and they can’t get it back for me. I spend allot of money with food Lion every month but I will start going else where if that’s what I need to do

Shaya or cashier 0223 had no customer service but was not out done by any of the other employees that was working in the store this weekend. There was no manager that I could find on duty really sad it's not this bad during the week. Did not put my groceries in the cart and acted like I was putting her out to have to ring me up. Food Lion Pharmacy

Many years ago I used food lion pharmacy I switched to another one and stayed there for years. When I got new insurance my pharmacy informs me they don't take my new insurance so I called food lion and told them I'd like to come back if they took my insurance. They said they did so they took my information and had all scripts transferred over to them. I began getting my meds and the co pays were getting ridiculous. I couldn't understand why I was paying so much. I asked them so many times and brushed off and told to call my insurance company. I got a new medicine that I was told I had to pay $1500 for and that was it for me.i called my insurance and.long story short the entire time I've been back at food lion all the co pays I was charged come to find.ouh they were charging some random insurance company..why I have no clue. I'd never heard of these people in my life. I've been given a expense sheet from the pharmacy and I want every dime back I paid.foid lion for this bogas insurance. I have zero copays on all.of meds. They took no responsibility for this not even a apology. I'll take this to the better business

Food Lion Rewards

On June 16th, I tried to use food lion delivery to go. My $8 in rewards were applied, when I checked out my debit card was declined. When I went to try again, my $8 in rewards were gone from my account. I absolutely did not use them. The rewards should have been automatically put back in my account once the card didn't go through. I just looked and the $8 is still not there. I will be shopping with kroger instead. I'm really annoyed and disappointed that my rewards were taken from me and want them back on my account. When can you fix this issue? Thank you

Food Lion Service.. Mang. Said they were collecting carts from parking lot

On Tuesday morning evening at 6:50 I went into the food Lion here on Hardscrabble Road it was very busy but the lines were moving well I went to the customer service center there was no one there they were changing shifts about 3 minutes later four people accident out of the back office I had a conversation and then they moved forward I asked was anyone coming to the service desk and she the manager white female black 50 years old she had on a red top and black jeans said someone will be in in a minute she then went to the speaker and called for three people to come up front as she and the other three people exited the food Lion parking lot a few minutes later she came back in and then she sent another young lady in I spoke to the young lady who said with an attitude may I help you I gave her my instructions on what I needed and I said I just want to mention to you all that I had to wait a long time and she said oh well under her breath and I said pardon me and she said here's your change and dismissed me at that point I said to her I need to see your manager because this is not acceptable behavior at that point the manager for the evening shift came up and I said ma'am I have a concern this young lady was not respectful and she said okay I said now it might not matter to you all about customer service but it is important too many people so this is just something that I want to mention she proceeded to tell me that she was doing her job that she had been in the parking lot and that it did matter to her whatever happens in the store at that point she turned around and she walked away and she came outside and spoke to a girl whom she knew saying hey boo I told her that her behavior was not acceptable and that I was very concerned and she said she didn't care so at this point I'm leaving this complaint because the day manager is totally different haven't worked in food service I do know the importance and value of customers but as a senior myself it was very disrespectful I work with teenagers as a high school recruiter they were acceptable however I don't know if there was something going on in your store last night but everyone seem to be ready to leave at 7:00 p.m.

Desired outcome: Please let your manager whom was working Tuesday night until 7:00 p.m. that her behavior was not representative of a food Lion employee and not of a management personnel thank you.
