Food Lion

On Tuesday morning evening at 6:50 I went into the food Lion here on Hardscrabble Road it was very busy but the lines were moving well I went to the customer service center there was no one there they were changing shifts about 3 minutes later four people accident out of the back office I had a conversation and then they moved forward I asked was anyone coming to the service desk and she the manager white female black 50 years old she had on a red top and black jeans said someone will be in in a minute she then went to the speaker and called for three people to come up front as she and the other three people exited the food Lion parking lot a few minutes later she came back in and then she sent another young lady in I spoke to the young lady who said with an attitude may I help you I gave her my instructions on what I needed and I said I just want to mention to you all that I had to wait a long time and she said oh well under her breath and I said pardon me and she said here's your change and dismissed me at that point I said to her I need to see your manager because this is not acceptable behavior at that point the manager for the evening shift came up and I said ma'am I have a concern this young lady was not respectful and she said okay I said now it might not matter to you all about customer service but it is important too many people so this is just something that I want to mention she proceeded to tell me that she was doing her job that she had been in the parking lot and that it did matter to her whatever happens in the store at that point she turned around and she walked away and she came outside and spoke to a girl whom she knew saying hey boo I told her that her behavior was not acceptable and that I was very concerned and she said she didn't care so at this point I'm leaving this complaint because the day manager is totally different haven't worked in food service I do know the importance and value of customers but as a senior myself it was very disrespectful I work with teenagers as a high school recruiter they were acceptable however I don't know if there was something going on in your store last night but everyone seem to be ready to leave at 7:00 p.m.

We shop at Food lion on Old Monroe Rd Indian Trail NC 28079. Store # 0532.

The ambient temperature in this store makes shopping almost impossible. I will be forced to shop elsewhere if the environmental temperature isn't lowered. I prefer to shop at Food Lion because it's so community oriented. Please lower the temperature so shopping is comfortable.

My wife and I went in your store in Cleveland Tenn. on 6/4/23, at 530 pm, We needed nothing, just going by so we stopped, picked up about $50.00 of stuff went to pay, casher wanted ID, so I gave her a TENN> DMV. I D card, witch is my old drivers license, when you get a new one they punch a hole in your old one and say use it for your ID, it works all over US and Tenn. She must have been new to the store, and very rude, so we did not buy anything, we have done a lot of shopping there, But that is the last, I see Food lion rating is 0.5 out of 5 stars, on service, so I expect nothing and I won't be back!

Hello, my name is gerri my food lion card number [protected], I went into the store to purchase some items and notice a heavy set male male as the cashier, I notice I picked up two turkey bacon, and apologize for that, he said nothing his face was stoic, okay, not very pleasant, as I finish, I heard him say to the next customer, hi how you doing, I turned around, and by golly he we go again, she was caucasian female, no surprise this happens a lot down here in nc, I am from n.Y. C, I even brought it to his attention, and this is what I said, "you did not say that to me", I have been shopping at food lion for years, spend over thousands dollar at food lion, no matter what location, I am a travel registered nurse, one would say hero, especially during covid, I will never shop at another food lion ever, food lion employees need to be re-train in customer service, no, matter what color stands in front of their eyes, I am so over these behaviors bye food lion. When shopping at Food Lion store number 1351 the noise level is so high that you have to yell at people to be heard. They buff the floors in the mornings instead of when customers are not present. After the store closes at night would be more appropriate. This store is usually poorly stocked and frequently run out of merchandise. The shelves are frequently empty in the meat and dairy departments. This store needs guidance with these matters.

I ordered groceries from Food Lion on Hwy 97 in Rocky Mount on May 24 2023 to be delivered the same day. I was supposed to get my groceries by 10 pm. I received an e-mail saying my order had been cancelled. I am not the one who cancelled the order. My order was cancelled at 9:14pm May 24. So I called and was told they dont deliver groceries which I know they do because I have ordered groceries before. I have reordered them and suppose to get them between 8 am and 10 am. Thank You! I have been a QA for food lion since 2019 I've always done my job and anything asked by my managers but as of recently I have a new manager in charge of the QA department named Jillian Bailey and shes done nothing but talk bad about me to other managers and employees also cuts my hours and gave me the only bad review I've had since being here shes very disrespectful to me and does not bother any other workers here only stays on me all the time and it's not fair at all I've never disrespected her in any way but she continues to do so to me I'm almost 40 years old and dont deserve any of this could someone please help me on this subject thanks

This company seems to have a bad habit of placing items in their weekly sale ads, (primarily meat type items) and when you try to buy these items we're told that the store hasn't received their shipment yet. This actually happens on the first day of the sale and they do not offer rain checks on these items.

It seems to me that if you continually advertise sale items that you do not have in store that would be considered the old bait & switch.

Very poor Management and Human decency.. does not like to treat employees fair.. no lunch or break choice, treats You less and shows favoritism towards certain ones. All employees should be treated equally and all should want to work together but instead want to work against you because they have a higher salary and a higher "title" . Does not value.

I've tried to be patient with you but I have to admit that you have worn me down.

I would like to know the name and address of your registered agent so that I can file for relief in King George general district court.

I tried calling for help on your help line, you hung up on me. You tell me that I don't know either my first or last name, which I have had over 75 yrs now. And when I try to start all over you tell me I can't because you already have someone using my email account, ( which is me). I even tried changing my pass word but you fail to send either an email or text.

So, I have come to the conclusion that I will need a judge to help me get set up.

I payed for 2 xbox cards a 15 dollar and a 50 dollar xbox cards the 15 dollar one worked fine But the 50 dollar one did not work. had my receipt .store manger cooper gave me a number to Blackhawk [protected] that was over the xbox cards i filed a claim they gave me a claim number after about hour and they sayed to get foodlion store number 00244 to call them back with this imformation manger cooper said she not going to help me wilh it she sayes that not her job to do that.been over 2 months .I out of 50 dollars just glad i tryed to used the card and it wasnt a dead gift.i was ripped off. my name is Burl Cabe 3213 Howe Dairy Rd. I was in there the night before Christmas Eve. The checkout girl and the bag boy were two of the least friendly people I've ever met in life. Neither acknowledged my existence. I said 'hey' to the checkout girl and 'thanks' when she handed me my receipt. She said nothing and he didn't even look at me. Great store... I guess. My family will be shopping elsewhere from now on. MERRY CHRISTMAS! - P.S. I read some other 1 star reviews and they said the same thing - the people at the registers, cashiers and baggers are very unfriendly. It is a shame because this was once a nice store and everyone who worked there was very friendly. I will not be returning.

I can't always afford the more expensive hot dog buns for my family, but I've always had confidence in buying "store brand" items. This time, my habits have failed me. I picked the hot dog buns with the best "use by" date and was completely disappointed upon serving them. The bottoms totally fell through, and it wasn't because there was too much stuff on the hot dog. My children only use ketchup, and only with supervision! Nonetheless, I'll not get these in the future. I'll go ahead and man-up and buy the $4 buns. Needless to say, I'm a little more than disappointed. I ALWAYS shop at Food Lion, and I ALWAYS buy store brand. Guess I'll have to put a little more thought into it in the future.
