Great Service for One with Disposable Income
The Bongo service is very user friendly and simple to use. However, after ordering something small and using their service, I became aware that it is best for me to order something from Ebay that has been marked up by a reputable seller, but has reasonable shipping rates.
For anyone that has disposable income, buys from many different companies, chooses rare items that are not easily found on Ebay, Etsy or other resale websites, and wants a great, reliable shipping company to simplify the process of shipping multiple items from many different companies? This is a great service.
For me, it was best to donate the two products I bought to charity, then later order them again from Ebay, rather than to ship what I ordered. Yes, I could pay for my products twice + international shipping for the rates Bongo charges. But, I am happy to hear that they donate what I bought to charity, rather than putting it in the trash. This service really seems to be best for one making fairly large purchases of rare or hard to find items.
Customer service is great and very responsive. I had a lot of questions about everything and they were quick to reply to emails, kind, gave clear information, and I feel good about the whole experience. Peace of mind is priceless, and it is certain customers will have that with this service. :)
Most unreliable shipper ever!
I am to the point of stopping All business with Distributors who continue using FedEx! I had 5 Packages leave the Same warehouse in Shreveport LA at the same time and went 3 different directions! on the next day, they were on 4 different trucks. Also the next day 8 more packages went out at the same time and They went 4 different routes! I was originally (according to tracking) was suppose to receive 4 packages on 3/28 and 8 on 3/29. as of 3/28 at 8 am, Now I have 8 packages "Supposedly" coming in 3/29.. With UPS I would have received All Packages by 3/28! Corporate doesn't care Anything about Their customers OR timely Deliveries! I would give 0 stars if it was available! in 5 years I've had Nothing but Trouble with FedEx and hopefully I will find a way to Get Away from dealing with them Period! This company is 100 times worse than UPS or even USPS!
Recommendation: Get away from FedEx! This company not only is unreliable but Also Theives! in the last 4 years, They've stolen 10 cases of Ammunition from me!
Scams to be aware of
[protected]@gmail.com is using your company Fedex to scam multitudes of people in America and Australia and possibly other countries, by getting people to buy apple gift cards and sending them to her in promise of gaining large sums of money. She uses pitchers of Fedex couriers delivering such packages to those in need.
She claims to work for a Govt section called DDHS, Agent Williams Perry. This is all the info i have on this person.

This is what I mean about FEDEX they said that the BOGUS delivery would be first priority today they told me that on the phone and it is now after 5 o'clock and still WAITING! They think nothing of screwing the customer around
I don't expect it today even though they said first thing Sunday, but I have to be here two days so far incase they do what they say!
This after receiving a notice Saturday and this notice came at 9:30 on Saturday that the driver tried to deliver at 10:26 of the same day. I got right on the phone and after a very lengthy mess around from the automated answering machine finally got through to a person and she said that the driver attempted a delivery at 10:26 and I stopped her and said Mam what time is it now and she realized it was not even 9:45 proving it was a lie. Then said my delivery would be a priority Sunday because the driver put out bogus information. So I waited all day today and its 5:30 and I expect the stupid tracking to change to Monday after I wait all day. This is not the first time I have had lousy service from FEDEX and I had the seller put a note in my file NOT TO USE FEDEX IN THE FUTURE if they want me to purchase from them again.

Package Non-Delivery
First, there are no positive points to share about FedEx.
FedEx notified me of a package delivery which did not get delivered to my house. A photo the delivery house was attached, a house with a black door. My house has a white door with my house number in gold letters. I used their Virtual Support, their 800#'s, 3 listed email addresses and spent over 3 hours to no avail. The only response I received was: "The package was delivered." It may have been, but it was not delivered to my house. Trying to solve a problem with FedEx is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You will be pulling your hair out trying to even reach a HUMAN BEING or an email that works.
Recommendation: Do NOT do business with FedEx.
I think the statistics at the top of this web page speak for themselves about Fed-ex: "9% of 1730 complaints were resolved."
The Worst Service
FedEx has gotten way too big for their own good. The service is TERRIBLE. When you call CS you never get anyone who knows what they are doing, let alone someone who speaks English. We have had multiple issues with deliveries where the drivers will report that they can't deliver packages because our building is closed, which simply isn't true. And although we've called many, many times to let them know we aren't closed, they continue to not deliver to our location...OR...they leave the packages on our loading dock without notice. We are a government entity with a homeless shelter on our lower level and leaving packages on the loading dock for just anyone to take is not acceptable. I have had it with FedEx and will avoid using them at all costs. UPS is a little better to deal with so we will do everything we can to use them OR another shipping company that actually wants our business.
Recommendation: Use a different company if you can

The Driver is great, it's the people incharge that need training. I've had packages delivered to the FedEx shipping Center in Greenville NC that get an exception status saying a hold was requested for a future date, there is no way to get it off hold on the web site or the app. You have to call customer service and hope you get to speak to someone who knows what they are doing and can speak English. This morning I called about my packages on hold, I had a very hard time understanding the person because of heavy accent and I think some Spanish words, I could only understand about every 3rd or 4th word. So I repeated back to her that I understand my packages would be delivered today, she replied yes. This evening I called because the packages hadn't arrived and was told by someone with better English that my packages were not being delivered today, I should get them Monday. :(
Recommendation: If you need to count on the delivery being delivered when the carrier says it will, ask the vendor if they will send it via US Postal Service, UPS, DHL or ANYONE other than FedEx.

I literally had a woman (After 25 calls to 1800 go FedEx) Tell me there is no one in the United States to talk to! I was enraged! I have not filed an inventory as of today, yet I received a check and a notice of claim case closed. Reckless driver
I was driving on 70 leaving sykesville md it was raining and ver, very foggy you could barely see the road the posted speed is 70 I was doing 60-65 no cars behind me for 3 miles all of a sudden out of nowhere there are bright headlights lighting up my car now I really can’t see anything couldn’t even change lanes if I wanted to they were so close to my rear bumper that I thought it was a pick up truck. They went into the lane next to me snd I saw that it was a fed ex truck double trailer. Driving incredibly fast trying to squeeze between my vehicle and a vehicle in the lane that he jumped in. I had to blow my horn for a whole minute because he almost swerved into me. Now again it is very foggy and it is raining these trucks have an advantage over every car on the road and they choose to drive careless and reckless. The driver jumped back in the lane behind me and stayed on my bumper closely for a mile until the highway split into four lanes he then got beside me to throw a beverage at my front wind shield then proceeded to drive off extremely fast almost causing an accident. I couldn’t catch all of the numbers on the truck I only remember it beginning in 828 This was at 8:24 pm on I-70 East.

Misrouted and chronic labeling errors.
Lame excuses and they lie about calling you back:
There is more to it than that. There is no reason it should be routed due east to Columbia, MO. as opposed to coming its normal route straight to Springfield. It was misrouted. Also, your rep reassured me yesterday that there was not a labeling problem and that I would be getting a phone call. Neither are true. There is a notation in the tracking stating "Address corrected."
There seems to be an issue with my name being printed twice on the shipping labels as this is an ongoing problem. No scan for well over 24 hours. Please correct the labeling problem as this could be obscuring other components of the address. Thanks.

International shipping
I was shipping some personal family documents to Germany last week, January 3rd, 2024. I chose FedEx International Priority Express using one of FedEx's Mailing Paks. I paid the extra money for it to get to it's german destination by Friday Jan. 5th by 12 pm. (per FedEx). I generated all the shipping labels and customs forms per FedEx app. I put I the information that these were personal documents, no exchange of goods etc. per the app. I had been previously told that it would be best to have an indirect signature requested since it was going to a german government agency, with no specific person to receive this package (a little over 2 pounds for the documents). I took it to a FedEx shipping office in our local Walmart, instead of just dropping it of at closer drop off locations. It went out and got to Cologne, Germany by Thursday, Jan 4th and went to customs. Then while following up on tracking on Friday Jan 5th, I saw that it was listed as "Clearance Delay" and listed "Clearance instructions from the importer are required". Nothing else, and no notification via email or texts, even though I requested status notifications via app and online. I got online and tried to find out what was going on and if there was anything I could do to remedy the situation. I had to deal with their autobot customer service with no luck or direction. It took me forever to get the telephone number from the customer service chat. When I did get a live person during the daytime, they couldn't help, so they transferred me to their international customer service line. When I spoke to them finally on Jan. 8th, all they said was that it's a normal delay and it is being taken care of. I had to read them the notice I was receiving from their app to explain it stated that the importer needs to send clearance information and that it didn't look like fedex was fixing the problem. Then all they could do is take down my email and phone number information, so that they could pass it on to their fedex rep in germany and they would get right back to me. Here we are 24 hours later and not a word from FedEx. Tracking still shows "clearance delay Jan. 4th 9:27 pm." I understand that customs can hold up delivery, but you would think that FedEx would let you know what they are doing to facilitate clearance, or at least contact the sender (customer) what could be done. It is only a shipment of paper documents that I couldn't send as usual mail because it was over the 1 lb. limit of a standard mailer. It cost me over $168 dollars to send documents to Germany from Dallas using all the FedEx shipping labels and customs forms. Paying over $20 extra to get it there last Friday, instead of Wed. Jan 10th (which was the next option given by FedEx). No updates 5 days later since the last note posted Jan. 4th. I would think that a company that has shipped a lot of things to germany in the past and you pay good money to directly, and not a third party vendor that promises lower FedEx rates, would be handling the matter for it's customer, or at the very least keeping the customer informed of what has to be done. I can't even chose "delivery options" online, because it only allows the receiver to change any delivery options. I had hoped if I changed the "indirect signature request" to no signature needed, it might then get delivered to it's address. Nothing seems to being worked on. I have filled in their online forms to customer service with details, but have also never heard back. Not sure if FedEx has their act together. Would doubt I would ever use or recommend their services again.

On the 3rd of January 2024 I went to 96th street FEDEX office to mail my 35 year son his birth aboard certificate. After 35 years of having this it took FEDEX ground 2 hours to steal it. My son and wife was going on a cruise they have purchase there airplane tickets and hotel room. I am requesting a reimbursement of the mail this package, airline tickets, hotel stay and for the inconvenience and stress that we have dealt with from the customer service and overall company. Lack of attention from delivery drivers

I do not know when the package was delivered, I'm saying this because most Fed-ex drivers like to deliver packages to the back of my house, WHERE there is no house address on the house. So why are packages even being placed there? I myself, have had to hand deliver neighbors packages. I shouldn't have to do this constantly. I can understand once and awhile. I know if it was my packages that I'm waiting on gets shipped to someone else's address, I would be pretty upset. Customers pay money for this extra shipping, etc. I would think that the drivers would be trained enough to deliver to the addresses correctly.
I have also, placed a small note on the back door that states that this address belongs to. So, they are not paying full attention to detail when delivering. This is also not the first time this has happened, and I've had enough of the non-sense.
This is one of the reasons I very seldom order anything online, because I never know where it's going to go. Unfortunately, in this day and age, people are not trustworthy, and theft happens more than it should, so with that being said, having a package sit in the back of someone's address for however long is not acceptable especially when the back of the house has no address numbers on it to distinguish what the house number actually is. I do not utilize my back door, so I don't see packages out there unless I happen to walk back there.
So, this entire complaint is just to bring to attention that drivers are not paying attention to detail, and leaving packages at houses that don't actually have numbers on them, and instead of contacting the customer via phone, and/or contacting FEDEX support on more details of the address they are dropping too. If some type of training could be done about this, so this can stop happening would be great.
Desired outcome: TRAIN drivers better. DON'T leave packages at addresses without verifying its the address ex: house numbers, mail box. BACK of houses don't have addresses on them.

Missing /stolen package
FEDEX claims to have delivered a package to my address without taking a door picture as usual. The package was signed and delivered by someone else at another address or provided a fake name "TBrady" when my last name is Dennis. I contacted them and got the run arounds for two to three days and when I was finally contacted. They promised that the driver would return the package at the correct address. Finally got an answer the next day that the package was not found in an email. The package was fine through shipping until it got to Phenix City, AL and then disappeared in route. I think we may have some dishonest drivers who may be taking hard- working citizens packages as well as their money. This package was Xmas presents for my kids. The company itself does not want to refund me any money because it was shipped out properly. I think FEDEX should be made to pay for all citizens packages lost and whomever is taking. The package was a total of $400 dollars. I am going to never use FEDEX again. If they can't keep up with people packages, they need to fired. This can become a civil case and a lawsuit that needs to be looked into.

The letter containing some documents was not delivered to the person it was addressed to.
On 12 December this year I handed over in Sarajevo at IN TIME company (representative of FedEx in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina) a letter and three documents as a shipment addressed to Danijen Haluzan in Munich. However, the shipment was two days later delivered to a different person, which caused lots of stress to me.
How could it be possible?

Package delivery
At around 430 a package I ordered for my mother was delivered. As the driver pulled up my stepdad went to the door. The driver got out, flung the package over the fence, and drove off again. Packages are usually just left sitting by the side of the mailbox on the edge of the road. If he had only taken a moment to look up he would have seen my stepdad coming out to meet him. This has been an ongoing issue with deliveries.
Desired outcome: All we would like is for them to at least try and make contact or leave the package in a safe, sheltered area. Just anything is better than flinging packages into people's yards.

11/26... went on online and completed on line pickup request PRP460533301 for package to be picked up between 8am and 8pm on 11/28, at my residence. 11/28... got up at 7am and started waiting for Fedex to pickup package. At 11am received call that driver had been to our house and no one was home. Not True. I am handicap in a wheelchair and can't go unless I get some one to drive me. Call said they would contact driver and come back. no one ever showed. 11/29... Called Fedex cust rep to complain all she did was say how sorry she was and to reschedule it for 11/30. PRP [protected] (that number may not be right was hard to understand. 11/30... Got up at 7:30a and opened front door and waited in living room, no more that 10 feet from front door. again at 11a received call that driver had been and not one at home. NOT TRUE. I continued to wait until 3p and call the cust rep line again. all rep could say was that he was sorry for inconvenience and that he could schedule me for tomorrow 12/1. So far I have been waiting for 3 days at 12 hours a day and on one came and Now I have to wait another day and only HOPE that the driver comes. Cust Reps don't seem to care about customers. I tried to get to talk to supervisor but rep refused and would only keep saying they were sorry,

Chronic misdeliveries
Fedex claimed they delivered a shipment we were waiting for, but photo they provide as proof of delivery is of wrong residence, not ours. We immediately contacted them & got the runaround for two days while they continue to claim delivery was made to our front porch. When they are informed the photo is not our residence, they revert to they can't help, case closed & contact origin of shipment to request replacement. Be advised they do not insist their drivers retrieve misdelivered packages nor will they call their drivers to alert them of a problem. They simply refuse to accept any responsibility for their mistakes & gloss over the situation & throw responsibility back onto the seller & the consumer. Their customer service reps offer platitudes about how they understand your loss, but they will not aid in contacting the seller to arrange for replacement of shipment they misdelivered & lost. Where exactly in this is the motivation to deliver to the correct address? They claim my package was delivered on 11/20/2023. Well, someone got it, but it wasn't us. Not our porch & not our Walmart orders either. Fedex has been losing our shipments for six months now. We will not be using or recommending Fedex in future.

no knocking to see if anyone was home
So I have a package I stayed home to receive due to it needs a signature. Fed ex came and left a note on the door that they attempted to deliver. I literally watched the driver drive by my office window and tried to flag the driver down through the window. My office is tiny. There is NO WAY the driver knocked on the front door. No drivers ever knock on the door now-a-days anyway but this time, I needed a knock to know the driver was there to have me sign for a package. UNREAL. I called their customer service. After being told in a nutshell, so sorry even after conveying I was not able to go out to work today as I was waiting to sign for a pkg, I asked to speak to a spv. The "PROBLEM RESOLUTION TEAM" told me they would call the local office right away to get a hold of the driver to have him return (as this has actually happened before, but over a year ago). Great. I was even provided a name and to call the 800 # back if I didn't hear back from the RESOLUTION TEAM MEMBER. I waited an hour. No call back. I called the 800# back, and after numerous attempts to get by the artificial intelligence (unintelligence) robot that answered, after about 10 minutes, I finally was able to get a to CSR, then another 10 minutes to get back to the RESOLUTION TEAM. Spoke to a new person that found no ticket opened up, but did see somehow that the other person did call the local office. The new Team member was able to tell me that the driver was already out of the area and so would not come back. But that I could sign the notice and he will leave it the next day. Uh huh. So someone can steal it, I guess. Or I could drive 50+ miles round trip to go pick up my package today. Wow. I have had so many issues with Fed Ex. PLEASE, PLEASE ANY BIG COMPANIES READING COMPLAINTS, PLEASE STOP USING FED EX AS YOUR PRIMARY DELIVERY! PLEASE!
Desired outcome: I highly doubt Fed ex would agree to compensate me for an extra day off to stay home for a 2nd day to be able to receive my package. There was no offer of compensating me to drive the 50+ miles to go get it.
BBB, Consumer Affairs, POTUS even - Someone really need to do something about this careless practice! I've gotten to the point where I will not order another big item, if there's no way of knowing in advance who the delivery company is going to be. The option of picking up an item yourself is not an option for heavy items.

10/13/23 approx 10am.
Again, your drivers are driving on my property, specifically my rock perimeter and grass. Not even my packages, just my yard. Again. I have requested drivers delivering to 114th St Ct E to NOT use the loop connecting 114th St because narrowness of road and constant driving on my property. USPS and UPS do not drive on or damage my property but your drivers refuse to stay off. Do I really need to contact an attorney for damages or can you teach your drivers responsibility and respect?! I do have videos of these actions…

Delivery of opened, empty box
Friday, November 3, 2023, a FedEx driver left an opened, empty box on my step and marked the package "delivered." They even took a photo to show as "proof of delivery" that shows that the box was not sealed, but had been folded closed after having been emptied of the contents including the packing slip. I called FedEx "customer service" and was told that they would "investigate" the situation which ended with an automated email on Monday, November 6, 2023 that said the package had been delivered and that was that. I attempted to call "customer service" again and the agent just kept repeating the same script instead of listening and comprehending my complaint. I have now sent a detailed email to FedEx with the picture used as proof. I guarantee I will meet the driver at the driveway from now on and I will report them to local sheriff's office if it happens again.
Fedex Additional Charges
Went online to Fedex website and entered package dimensions and weight for a shipment. Total amount was around $51. I dropped off the package and was shocked to see a $126 on my credit card. Called Fedex and was told that the package length exceeded the 48 inches that was allowed, so they charged $75 extra. I was not told at the time that I paid for the label that it was too long. I had entered the correct dimension. Additionally, someone had just shipped this package to me for around $50. Don't even bother trying to get a resolution from Fedex; they have thousands of ways to stall in order to avoid talking to you. Six phone calls to finally get to talk to a human being, who told me that she could not transfer me to a manager, a blatant lie.
Claimed loss: $75
Desired outcome: Reduce the charge to my credit card

It is beyond me why you would have a piece of trash like this representing you Fed Ex…. You are what represents you and you are asking for a bad reputation having a man like this in charge.
Unprofessional, immature, irrational, and not helpful in the least bit. He spent more time threatening to hang up on me and puffing his chest out than simply helping find my package. We spent our whole afternoon waiting for a package to show and nobody bothered to call and update us on the status. Finally called and what a nightmare crew over there…. JT being the manager and obviously doing a great job stroking his ego but not so great at actually doing his job.
No insight or help at all on where my package was containing thousands of dollars of refrigerated vaccine. But he made sure to get the last word, helpful or not. I imagine he is lacking much more than just manners…
I will never ship Fed Ex again. Take out the trash Fed Ex!

2 times they have delivered to a wrong address! Drivers need to double check where they are going! This is unacceptable
Shipping packages abroad
I’m not sure what has happened to FedEx - they used to be a faster, more reliable shipping alternative to the USPS. Sure, they were a little more expensive than the post office, but for the superior service, the cost was definitely worth it.
