Fedex Additional Charges
Went online to Fedex website and entered package dimensions and weight for a shipment. Total amount was around $51. I dropped off the package and was shocked to see a $126 on my credit card. Called Fedex and was told that the package length exceeded the 48 inches that was allowed, so they charged $75 extra. I was not told at the time that I paid for the label that it was too long. I had entered the correct dimension. Additionally, someone had just shipped this package to me for around $50. Don't even bother trying to get a resolution from Fedex; they have thousands of ways to stall in order to avoid talking to you. Six phone calls to finally get to talk to a human being, who told me that she could not transfer me to a manager, a blatant lie.

This is a general critique of all the FedEx Corporation stores. The services have become increasingly deficient and defective in the following ways:
they have ERADICATED the hard-drive technology allowing use of CD-ROMs on their computers. Now you can only use flashdrives for viewing any stored information. When I inquired the reason, the staff stated "progress" and that the CDs were "obsolescent technology". So apparently is customer options!
they have ERADICATED the time-suspension function on their computer system for holding your place online for ten minutes when you need to add money to your card so that you don't lose your place on the internet and have to start looking all over again to find it! NOW you DO! You must LOG OUT when you need to add money, thus getting ripped-off for the EXTRA time you now PAY FedEx per minute finding it again! Even though the computer usage fee is only $.40 a minute, that is still almost TWICE what it used to be when costing only a quarter!
they have ERADICATED the INSERT card method of payment processing and replaced it with the SWIPE method at the computers and photocopiers... which not only ALLOWS them to rip you off by not showing how much you have spent UNLESS you can get a printout receipt (which sometimes DOESN'T work), but it causes other "glitches". One time when I was having technical problems at a DC area store and went to go to a Silver Springs, Maryland store, I had a five dollar balance remaining on the card I brought with me to use at the other store. By the time I got there and put the card in the machine it showed ZERO! HOW did FIVE dollars simply VANISH off the card?! Unless they "ZIPPED" it off electronically somehow! Not only that, bt when I put $1 on the card and made ONE color photocopy print for $.65, the machine then told me I didn't "have enough money on the card for continued use"! Apparently it couldn't compute, because $1.00-.65 leaves a balance of $.35... ENOUGH for TWO black/white photocopies at $.15 each!
I have been informed by staff they are ERADICATING the convenient card dispenser/loader kiosks! The store in Bethesda, Maryland already DOESN'T have one. You have to not only rely on the counter clerks to tell you what your balance remaining on the card is BUT you have to pay THEM now to "load it" for you. VERY INconvenient if they are busy. IF THAT will be he ONLY way then customers better start printing out ALL their transaction receipts from photocopier and computer use.
The staff AND management at the two DC stores on Seventh Street NW have gotten WORSE. One of them used to have at least ONE employee knowledgeable about the computer system. The last time I dealt with him about it even he "played dumb" and pretended he didn't know how to do a screenshot saver operation. A recent time I went there and tried to do it again, the staff (AND manager) "informed" me that the function had been ERADICATED from the FedEx computer system due to a "reset". So I had to get a refund for WASTING money to find that out. I then went to the store up the street, where the manager told me the SAME thing. I had to run all the way out to the Silver Springs store in Maryland to find out HOW it was done and that they had LIED to me in the DC stores! Most recently when I went to that first store on a Saturday, they had only ONE clerk at the counter to serve customers there and help those at the computers and printers. This store used to have TWO. Of the two photocopiers and computers, one of each wasn't working! When I got on the other computer and found what I wanted and saved it to print out, the printer WASN'T working! I "burned" the ten bucks WASTING time WAITING for the clerk to come help me find out the reason the ONE printer (they used to have TWO but believe it or not they have LESS business than they used to) wasn't functioning because she was alone and busy with another customer. And BECAUSE it wasn't working, I COULDN'T print out the receipt showing how much I had spent on it! BUT I always KEEP my kiosk receipts of how much I loaded on the card. So I brought the card and receipt to her to get a refund and she told me I had to WAIT until Monday for the manager to do it!
And the WORST thing about FedEx is there is NO email customer service address to send your complaints to for a PERSONAL response! It's all "virtual" now.
Package delivered to the wrong person.

On 10/19/2023, my husband took a package to our local FedEx office located in Cockeysville, Md for the next day delivery with direct signature to our customer in New Braunfels, Texas. Customer needed that package the next day for his and his wife Anniversary. Customer called us yesterday to let us know that he never received the package on10/20/2023. He took his wife away for the celebration of their Anniversary and got back yesterday on 11/01/2023 and tried to track down his package and FedEx told him that they have already delivered the package and the package was signed by M.NEO. The customer name is John Ngo and he does not know anyone by the name of M. NEO.
Dear Sir, I am imploring you and desperately seeking your help in finding out who was the delivery person from FedEx and to retrieve the package from whoever he delivered it to and get it to the right person, MR John Ngo. This package has a lot of sentimental value attached to it and I thrived to give the best customer service to all my customers and very saddened thyat he did not get his package.
Sir, the reason I am reaching out to you is because yesterday I spent about 5 hours and talking to 9 different customer service associates from FedEx to help me out with this matter and I even went to our local FedEx to copies of the status of the package and the name of the person who received it.
There were no signature on there except a typed name M.NEO, however the last person I talked to from FedEx, walked me through the tracking of the package on my Computer and told me that he can see the actual signature of the person who received the package on his end and if I cannot see it that there was something wrong with my Computer.
I would very much appreciate if you could help me get this matter resolve. Thank you so much in advance.

Over the past year, FedEX has left packages at my side door, which clearly does not have a roof, and several have been soaked with rain. At least two had to be unpacked at the door because the boxes were falling apart. One item had to be returned to the sender because the rain rendered the item inoperable (a dehumidifier). I recently left a note at this side door to only leave packages at the front door. The driver has left three packages since I put the sign up - one hanging off the front porch in the rain, and two barely on the porch. One of the latter two was today, and I was in the front yard. I said hello to the driver and he neither replied, waved nor smiled. He proceeded to toss the package, where it rolled 180 degrees before stopping onto the front of the porch, not near the door. This package was clearly marked Handmade Glass and yet he just tossed it. (Thankfully Blenko boxes their items very carefully and nothing was broken.) I asked for his name and he didn't reply. I tried to use a charm offensive and told him thanks for being friendly and that he was awesome. He's not - at all. He clearly could care less about the people receiving the packages, or what's inside them. I already contacted Amazon and they said because of the numerous complaints about FedEx they are looking at other options for delivery, but that I am to contact you myself.
Desired outcome: Put packages out of the rain at the front door.

I placed an order, i was home when the delivery of FedEx took place, the person never bother to call , text or ever knock. they left a damaged and opened box outside of my residential gate, the gate is only about 4 feet high, he could have placed the box inside like amazon does daily. once i received the email stating the box was delivered i ran outside to find the box open and damaged, as i further inspected i was missing 35 of my 50 items, as soon as i saw this i contacted fedex, well the claim was denied with no explanation. no apologies and with a loss of nearly $300 dollars. i had to purchase the items again but this time used the postal service and i received every single item. FedEx what a huge disappointment for a growing small business.

Property damage by drivers
My address is 743 114th St Ct E, Parkland WA 98445 and there is small twisted service road connecting 114th St to 114th St COURT E. Your drivers constantly use this and drive on my lawn and concrete bricks bordering the road. The two attached files show their careless attitude, drivers never stop. The two streets have six houses each, tight fit, small street. Amazon small vehicles no problem, stays on road. UPS, USPS and large Amazon all park end street and walk package to houses. Your drivers are why I no longer use your company for in/out business. Delivery wasn’t even for me but I’m done replacing rocks!

Ive been shipping thru FedEx for over a decade now, because they have been quick and actually get the package there without problems.
UNTIL NOW, THAT IS!
For some reason my recent shipment to Canada has resulted in it being detained for some reason.
I called FedEx to find out what the problem is, and all I get is incoherent babble. I called different numbers and talked to different people for over an hour to find out what the F- ing hell is going on, and all I could get was stupid answers from stupid people!
I FINALLY got to talk to someone that ACTUALLY KNOWS THEIR JOB, and legitimately answered my questions. All that BS and runaround for over an hour to find someone with a brain!
What a [censored]fest! I guess there are no companies left in the USA that have REAL customer service anymore.

For years McDonald County, MO has been dealing with horrible service. Packages ride around in trucks for days not being delivered. They are either marked delivered and never found or marked "operational delay". Today my medication which has to be kept cold was supposed to be delivered before 5pm. It was sent overnight but not delivered. Third month in a row that my medication will arrive warm. Why does this continue to happen day after day, year after year? I don't understand how you stay in business or why anyone willing uses your business. I have tried not doing business with companies who insist on using you but that only punishes me.
I know that this is not exclusive to my county. I see posts on facebook from people all over the country who have the same complaint but it is never resolved. Even if I call to complain I am given the same line every time. We will open a case and then 48 hours later it is closed with no resolution.
Please fix this problem. Hire capable drivers who actually do their job.

Delivery attempt
My package was marked as attempted delivery. I was home expecting my package to be delivered between 10am and 2pm.
No one rang my doorbell. There was no door tag left outside of the door.
I called customer service. You can't get a human being to speak with until giving a bot all of the information that they can't answer or even understand.
I wanted to make a complaint against the driver. Charles didn't have the number to the Wayne, NJ facility so I can speak with a supervisor. No one would give me the truck number, route number or the driver's name or ID so I can make a formal complaint. The number online is the same as the [protected]. That number is useless. No one knows anything or are unwilling to help.
I won't be home until 6pm for the next delivery attempt. I shouldn't have to go and pick up my package because of a lazy driver.
Desired outcome: To have my package delivered again today. But, Ground items don't qualify for attempted delivery twice in one day.
Fedex Delivery
I recently had a situation. The package was not delivered to my home. Called the automated service at 1.800.463.3339. It was explained to me that my address had an error and the package was delivered there. After some debate, it was determined that the package could not be delivered to that address due to the address not existing. It was then told to me that the package was not delivered to my apt number however they were unable to give me any information as to what apt it was delivered to. There was a case opened up. I received the email confirmation of an open case and 2 minutes later received the email confirmation that the case had been closed with no case conclusion given. At this rate I believe the delivery driver stole my package and have received no clarity from FedEx. The image depicts where the package was left. Not my door, not my mat, and not my apartment.
Desired outcome: I would like my package and/or a refund in the amount of the purchase.

FedEx driver continuously leaves packages in driveway in front of garage. The car can easily roll over the packages as they are not visible when leaving out of the house. The package ends up directly in front of the car when the garage door is opened. Today, it was raining profusely. The package was not reported/scanned as delivered yet, so I wouldn't have been looking for it. The box was wet since it had been sitting out there.

It was early Saturday morning 23 Sept 2023 when I started trying to get an answer to the question: Does FedEx have Saturday pickups in my area (45 minutes west of St Augustine, Florida where they have a hub).
Their artificial ignorant 'helper' was useless .. all sorts of other menu's and filters on finding everything except the answer to the question.
Called the Tennessee customer help center - talked to a person trying to be helpful. He referred me to a Dollar General Store which the computer lists as a drop off spot only ... not a point of origin.
Besides, he said the FedEx truck picks up at 0800 ... which sounds like it had already passed on through my area ... no other help from Tennessee.
Aggravating more - FedEx policy is not to give out phone numbers at all .. meaning a call to the hub would have answered the question .. and Dollar General East Palatka phone number I had to locate myself was worthless - they don't answer their phone.
Now it is 10:30am I'm going to have to do the old fashioned way .. us postal service.
Desired outcome: Have the FAQ's on the web pages as well as the 'filters' on the 'find your store' page include information of Saturday service
Careless delivery
I received notification that my expected package was delivered to my front porch or front door at 12:29pm Thursday, September 21.
There was no package on my front porch, side porch, or back porch. My ring camera recorded no one entering my property or delivering a package.
I checked my back gate where the package was leaning against the gate just inside my property. The package was in clear view and could have been stolen. The package was wet because of the rain. This type of delivery is irresponsible and careless.
I have seen many videos on tv of fedex drivers careless deliveries but this was a first for me.
I am disappointed.

Fedex Smart post is extremely slow giving your item more of a possibility of getting damaged by being handled for such a long time. I had a package that was supposed to arrive on 09/17/2023. Fedex Smart post has had this package since 09/12/2023. I live in San Jacinto. San Jacinto is a short distance from Chino. The package has been in Chino since the 17th, now Smart Post is stating the package will not be delivered until Tuesday the 19th. Chino is 53 miles in heavy traffic, why should it take three days to get a package from Chino to San Jacinto? I would never use this service, and I am a business owner who need the product as quickly as possible. Fedex also ask that you list and show your name to register. Why?
Desired outcome: Get my package here today 09/18/2023.
FedEx Delivery
I am another victim of FedEx delivery lying about attempting to make a delivery. It says they attempted a delivery at 4:54 pm:
"4:54 PM Delivery exception Customer not available or business closed SAN DIEGO, CA". At that time I was walking towards my main entry gate to look for the package, since it was unusually late for FedEx, which usually delivers around noon. I next went straight to the exit gate to see if it might be there since this year they started ignoring my delivery instructions about how to open the main entry gate, so they can leave the package inside the gate. I next went back to the entry gate and returned to my computer to check their tracking info again. That's when I found the delivery exception. I was especially concerned about this delivery since I bought an expensive enough item that the shipper decided to require a signature.
Desired outcome: No more lies.
Also, it seems to me that if they actually attempted a delivery at any time today, and the website was just reporting the wrong time, they would have left a door tag, as they used to do, but there was no tag.
