problems returning a bag of stale pistachios which I had my receipt and store sack.
The young woman behind the counter told me that her manager will not take back food unless the date is expired. I asked to see the manager. Sheila, the store manager, came up to the counter, picked up the bag and checked the date and then told me they do not allow food to be returned. I said that those nuts were stall and I paid $3.50 the previous day and I wanted my money back. There were several customers observing this. She shook out some of the nuts on the counter and handled them and said the looked fine to her. She even picked some of the nuts in her mouth and chewed the and declared they were fine and there was nothing she could do. I was so shocked at her rude behavior and I told her so. I told her I had never been treated so rudely by a manager in my whole life and that she same as called me a liar. She answered that I was saying the nuts were stale and she had to try to see and they were not stale. I told her I could not beieve that she poured out my nuts, handled them then ate some. She told me she did not do that and I told her I had seen her put the nuts in her mouth but she says she spit them back in the sack (which is even more gross). All of this was taking place at the register area with a lot of customers waiting. Sheila turned to walk away and I asked her to give my her manager's name & number. She said the number was at the top of my receipt, but she said as she was walking away that I wouldnt get him.
I stood at the counter calling the phone number on the receipt, but it was that stores phone number. I asked one of the associates to please get Sheila back up because I would need her disrict managers name and a contact number. Sheila never came back up front but sent and unopend pack of pistachios told the girl to get my sack that had the open package of nuts and the others she had poured and, chewed and spit back in my shopping bag. I have never been treated so rudly by someone in a managers position. The return policies are posted at every counter and nowhere does it state that food cannot be returned.My advise is to watch the store camera tape and see for yourselves Sheila's rude, hostile and unproffessional behavor. I came home and called the next nearest Family Dollar and they gave me the district managers name and numer to call. His name is Keith Sworzen, but she wasn't sure of the spelling. I would please appreciate someone contacting about this because I am going to pursue it. one way or the other. This manager was not only rude and unhelpful but let it be know that I was lying in front of a store full of customers . Then she said I was accusing her of lying because she says the nuts are definitly not stale. Most Family Dollar Stores in my area are kind and friendly. I am writing to inform you that a contractor working on your Family Dollar footprint in Charlotte, NC has not paid me for service that I performed on behalf of your organization.
This is Anthony Willis with Extreme Clean of NC. I was hired by Joshua Glenn Lail of Carolina Cleaning Solutions, a SMS contractor, to perform floor cleaning services at several of your Charlotte area locations. I performed work during the month of August and have yet to be paid by SMS or Mr. Lail. I have not been able to reach Mr. Lail, and no one at SMS or Family Dollar seems interested in my situation.
I am a hard working person with very limited financial resources (perhaps I am a member of your target market) I do not believe that Family Dollar endorses this kind of exploitative behavior and as such, I would kindly ask that you look into this matter and if take the necessary action to send a message that economic exploitation is not a part of your corporate culture.

i'm complaining about an employee that is using and selling drugs while working on her lunch break or during store store hours while working
Bre'yun Ashley croft has been selling drugs out of the family dollar store on bonanza and rancho for awhile. She has been selling and using drugs during her lunch break in the parking lot but when inside the store she walks off as if shes helping customers to sell her weed. I mentioned this in the store that you don't have a licence to operate a dispenser. She said mind your business or I will have u 86 from the store.
