eDreams Car rental

We rented a car through EDreams in October. We paid them $772 for a 4 wheel drive SUV. When we got to the car rental place (Fox) with the voucher we were instructed to bring, Fox said that they had only been paid $474 by Car Trawler who EDreams evidently uses to book the rentals. They refused to honor the voucher. We had to pay Fox an extra $210 to get the vehicle we had originally paid for. We complained to EDreams who just kept putting us off and then kept requesting the same information over and over without any resolution. We then disputed the charge on our credit card but they ignored the fact that we were not asking for a complete refund, just an adjustment to the pricing. So we have yet to recoup the $210 extra we had to pay for the vehicle. EDreams has ripped us off and then ignored our request for a fair partial refund.

Desired outcome: Refund of $210 from EDreams or Car Trawler.

eDreams Viva ticket order

I booked my ticket on Viva airlines through eDreams for a flight from Medellin to Cartagena on February 10, 2023. I paid for two large bags. On January 31. I got a notice from Viva airlines that the flight was changed from 1317 to 6:30 AM. I went online and rebooked on the 1309 flight the same day and was charged extra for the change. When I went to check my flight information on Viva, they had no record of the bags being paid for and charge me about $60 US for the change. I now have paid for the bags again.

This is outrageous. I have more information if necessary, but I am doing this on my phone and it is hard. I will be returning to the US on February 17 and can provide more information easily.

Please let me know what numbers you need to resolve this matter

eDreams Edreams confirmation email

I got flights to go from Lisbon to NYC in June. I purchased them yesterday 2/8. I have been charged for the flights but I did not receive a confirmation email. Further, I cannot contact anyone because they will not let me unless I have the 10 digit code from the confirmation email.

I am very frustrated and I would like to be able to speak to someone or get my money back.

eDreams Lack of refund for changed flight and auto rental cancellations

On March 21, 2022, I booked airfare from St. Louis to Las Vegas. The tickets were one-way when I wanted round-trip. I called Frontier Airlines to cancel the 1-way ticket and get a round trip ticket. They gave me your phone no., but when I called the no. was no longer in service. You billed my Mastercard $644.19 and Frontier billed my card $897.92. Both were paid by the credit card company. Frontier told me that I would get a refund from you minus a charge for the change of flights. I also booked auto rental for a car in Las Vegas and you charged me $413.73. I cancelled that order but the credit card company had already paid you. We flew to Las Vegas on May 6, 2022 and returned to St. Louis on May 13, 2022.

eDreams eDreams no booking confirmation after payment

I made a booking through edreams' Dutch website https://nl.edreams.com and paid for it with iDeal (bank transfer).

After the payment, the website kept saying it was processing the transaction. At first, I could find the booking while using the 11 digit number on my payment. It said: 'Processing' as well. A hour later, I couldn't find the booking anymore.

I never received a confirmation email from eDreams. I have tried to contact them by phone and by using the online contact form, but didn't receive a reply. I can not contact them by phone, because I don't have a booking reference.

eDreams Airplane ticket from Pontevedra-Madrid

At e-dreams I was charged without my permission 54.99 euro from my bank account. They used the data I provided for the booking of the tickets to charge me an additional 54.99. I don't care about having the "prime" account and I will never give permission to charge this money. The fact that I had to do something in order not to be charged was never communicated to me by e-dreams. They had to ask me if I wanted to be charged 54.99 euros but they never did. They had no authorization to use my card number data for charging me something I did not ask DIRECTLY to be charged. I think that they provided misleading info during the purchase of the tickets because I was never asked to agree to the charge of 54.99 euros.

eDreams Change name in ticket

I booked a ticket for my mother from my Account for the 13/02. Wrote down her name and lastname correctly. There was a problem with the card but after I fixed it and continued to pay I realised that the Website changes HER name and lastname to MINE. I paid for a trip both back and forth and don't want to lose my money. How do I change the name and lastname

eDreams Airline booking never went thru, but my money did and not refunded as promised

This was the booking made on 10MAY2022. On 12th of May, I called edreams since they never confirmed the airline reservation. They then told me the ticket was never purchased because the price went up. I asked why they did not advise us of that earlier. They wanted more money. So I tried to send additional funds, but the transaction would not go thru. I also found out another company was also offering the same flight at a lower rate, which I bought. I told edreams to cancel the "DEAL" since it never went thru due to their negligence, and they agreed to do so. Every time I contact them, they promise to refund - all the boxes are checked off in green, etc. In September2022, I went to their offices in Miami, which is a joke. The address on the website no longer valid, but I found their new office which is just a front company taking phone calls, messages, etc. There IS no one physically in the office. So I am still out 19,704 pesos = $962.42 USD

eDreams flights connection times

bought 2 tickets SXM-LAX on the edream website, SXM to curaçao to Miami to Los Angeles, connecting flight in curaçao to Miami was 38 minutes, we thought it was a very small airport and quick to board, it took us one house and 45 minutes to deplane and go through customs, security and to the gate, we missed the flight, which was the last flight to Miami. we had to eventually get on a different flight, book hotels, taxis, change hotels because of airbnb and go through hell because edreams sold tickets which were and are impossible to complete. after our complaint the website had a warning on similar itineraries.

Desired outcome: total refund of all expenses and not just the 30 per person from insurance. we spent $2000 for the tickets and another $1000 between hotels cabs and food.

eDreams Travel booking

This company took 645 dollars from me for a date change before they confirmed the airline could accommodate me, which they could not. edreams admitted this after I went through the grueling process of contacting them when I never received a confirmation.

I instructed them to refund my money and they said they will, less $60 for a "service" fee. I lost three days because of their so called service. I could have made other arrangements.

Never again

Stay away from edreams!

eDreams Edreams never received confirmation email

I purchased a round trip flight booking from Eindhoven to Alicante on edreams. I continued with the payment and as soon as I was finished I was redirected to a blank page. I didn’t receive a confirmation email and so I have paid for two flights I have no details about… I tried to contact their customer support on their website but I need to enter a reference number (which I do not have) or find an airline reference number (also do not have). When I tried to email them, it would redirect me to the website. The money was still taken from my bank VIA iDeal bank transfer. I would like to request a refund as I am short on time and need to book another flight.

This could be handled as a legal matter but I think that it’s easiest for everyone to just settle this as easy as possible

eDreams eDreams failed website cost me $400

I attempted to buy tickets from their website multiple times, using my bank's app to authorize payment. Every time (about 5 attempts) the eDreams website told me "transaction failed". So I bought the tickets elsewhere. After that eDreams sent me a confirmation that the purchase DID go through. Now they won't refund money -- in fact, they say they can only charge money they can't refund it. Company is a scam, stay away!

eDreams Purchase of airline tickets - booking reference :[protected]

In July 2022 I purchased 4 tickets for myself and my family members to fly out of Hobart Tasmania to Melbourne Australia on 12 January 2023 on Australian airline Jetstar. I had paid over $400.00 (AUD) and was advised by confirmation email on 22 November 2022 from eDreams that our booking request was being processed after making the payment. We were advised through the email that our flight on 12 January 2023 from Hobart was scheduled to depart at 11:20am on Jetstar JQ flight 704 to Melbourne. When we checked in at Hobart airport on the morning of 12 January 2023, we were advised by Jetstar check-in staff that our names were not on the scheduled flight and that we did not have any bookings to fly out that day... I showed them the email confirmation from eDreams but there was no record of our names in their system.

I was then forced to make an additional payment of $454.00 (AUD) for me and my family members at the airport to enable us to get on another Jetstar flight that day. Please reimburse my money. Regards - Neville Devete ([protected]@gmail.com) Phone: +[protected]

I canceled the flight on the same day when I booked it, and the flight was for 6 months, it was accepted by them, after 2 or three months AUD 5463.48 was deducted from my account and even after two years they have not returned it to me (in fact they returned it to me about 7% of the funds. I contacted them in all possible ways but they always say not to worry, they will take care of everything.

eDreams Car rental

In December 2022, from Canada, I reserved an economy car in Ixtapa via Edreams with Europcar for 15 days. The price was reasonable and included and civil liability insurance of 250 000 MXN.
Also, it was mentioned that if I do not take the LDW waiver extra insurance for the car itself, I will have to guarantee 9000 CAD on my Credit Card. I hold a MasterCard Elite that covers this LDW insurance, so I was fine with that.

When I arrived at the EuropCard counter, we confirmed the rental fee and the guarantee of 9000 CAD on my credit card.
So far so good. But the clerk also mentioned that I must also take an extra civil liability insurance that will cost and 40.00 CAD per day, otherwise I cannot leave with the car. This pretty much doubles the rental daily fee. I refused to pay this extra liability insurance fee and I was responded: then, no car.

When I asked to be re-imbursed for the basic rental fee, I was told that it was not their problem and that I need to contact Edreams.
So, I contacted Edreams via an email at Customer Services with all the arguments above. It is to be noted that it is impossible to talk on the phone with anybody. There is simply no phone number available.

After more than 3 weeks and having to ask more than once, I was responded that they cannot re-imburse me wit a single penny as my contract is only for the basic rental car fee, and insurance is not their problem. There was not even a proposal from Edreams for some limited compensation, compromise or credit for a future rental.

To make people pay in advance for a car rental without telling them that there will be a very expensive compulsory extra insurance to pay once arrived at the counter, is, to my opinion, dishonest.
I rented cars in Mexico at various occasions in the past, and it is the first time that I must pay this extra insurance.
I understand that my recourses here are pretty slim.

However, maybe by going public with this misadventure, others can avoid such problems that spoils part of the pleasure of such a nice trip in that country that I love.

eDreams Ref no: [protected] flight cancelled over 2 years ago and still waiting for a refund

I booked a flight to Japan from Dublin Airport in January 2021 for €739.57.

I was initially offered flight credit however upon attempting to use it, the website required I use their app to book with credit.

I installed the app only to find to my disappointment that I could not book a new flight date regardless of what dates I put in, near or far in the future.

I attempted to contacted eDreams about this and got a confirmation that it was being worked on by the relevant department. The issue was never resolved from November 2021 to May 2022 which is when I requested a refund instead.

Following up on the case for over 2 years I requested a refund. eDreams have told me they are pending airline authorisation to release a refund. I patiently wait another half year all the while asking for updates and getting none. Any and all calls with them were a similar case: they said they were working on it and would have an update soon.

Of course here we are two years later with no update, I can’t get in touch and my refund is still waiting for authorisation.

I contact British Airways who cancelled the flight to see if they could speed it up. I was briefly told that the refund was not their responsibility and that it is the sole duty of eDreams to issue me the refund and that they are the ones who must pay out as they are the ones who accepted the payment, not British Airways.

With nothing left to lose after 2 years I have decided that if I do not get a refund within the next month or two a letter regarding legal action will find its way to their headquarters in Spain.

Following this, I will go public to any and all major news outlets in my country about this abysmal failure of customer service within the month of April/May 2023 if this is not resolved.

€739.57 is not a lot to ask for a refund and quite frankly I am getting sick and tired of their excuses.

eDreams have attempted to pin accountability of providing a refund on British Airways but I feel after all this time, it is time to wake up and take some responsibility. The ignorance of this company is disgraceful.

As a customer I booked a flight as described underneath for flying in 2021. Sins the cancellation and the confirmation by Edreams that they applied for the refund from Air France I heard nothing. It is impossible to get your App to understand and report my problem. I found the underneath Edreams email address but no response from them. I am an 84 year old pensioner and planning what would be probably my last sea cruise. Your assistance will be highly appreciated. Cordially yours

Because of covid the flight was cancelled and I asked for a refund.

You said that the Airline will take three months to pay. NO REPAYMENT YET.
I want the money to do a new flight to Rome for myself and my wife for AUG SEPT 2023.
I am very disappointed with your service as it is near impossible to get help from you.

eDreams Flight cancellation with no refund, service or contact.

We booked flights from London to Brisbane in January 2022 with eDreams. Booking reference is [protected]. Airline Reference OYJK34 ands OOYJK1Z. These flights were cancelled by the airline and we were notified by eDreams that there was a problem and eDreams would find us alternative flights. This never happened. I spent hours on the phone trying to contact someone but none of the numbers worked. I also spent half a day on the chatbot trying to speak to someone to get this resolved with no success. I tried the chatbot at many different times hoping to find a wait time that was less that 11 hours but never did managed to speak to anyone. Their system is setup to waste your time and frustrate you until you give up and get nothing for you money. We finally cancelled the booking with eDreams in August 2022 as we had booked the flights again directly with the airlines. Their useless app says that our refund was being processed from that date and we are now in the middle of January 2023 and their stupid app is sending the same message. I want my money back, the amount paid is £6173.65. If this doesn't get me some ware I will have to look to see what legal options are available.

Desired outcome: I would like my money refunded as this has caused my wife many hours of grief and disappointment when we tried to secure good flights and seats almost a year in advance of our first trip back to Australia since the pandemic.

eDreams Charged for a Subscription to eDreams

eDreams Stay away from eDreams!

I have bought oneway flight ticket(for 06.01.2023 Rotterdam to Istanbul) by using IDEAL at eDreams agency.Due to dates problem i have cancelled it.According to airlines (Pegasus airlines)terms the ticket can be cancelled within 24 hours without any fine.After i cancelled the ticket,Pegasus airlines contact to me and said the payment has already done by pegasus airlines.so i have contact to eDreams agency and ask about my refund,they say they dont receive any payment so they can not pay my refund to me!

.+their customer service can not talk english(i think they are from malasia)They dont understand.Shortly never choice and stay away!
