Ok, I want complain for my mom in-law. She has to much heart to tell anyone what went on in DOLLAR GENERAL A1A, Cresent Beach. I went up yesterday to apply the onsite hiring interview. So, it was not to surprising, The manager was working on register and boyfriend was hovering over the gate, He is up there more than he should...overnights, anytime no new management. Recovery, security interacts with customers.Not sure why hes not on payroll..
As for the main issue .The reason I decided not to go in...My Mom in-law said she was leaving for health reasons but could work a few hours a week...Reply was noone is going to tell her where or when they can work anymore and Shop at different dg or shes going to tresspass her. She lives 2 minutes away from that store.

I do know one thing the way she puts them down, punishes them by their schedules.Her working as 2 people getting extra done when the rest of them struggle to keep up as one( they dont have boyfriend help)..Thank goodness my mom doesn't work there anymore.

On Aug. 05, 11:30 AM, I was going to buy Keystone beer on sale for 6.95 for 15 pack. Went to register to pay and clerk informed me the store was not honoring POSTED sale price (Reg. Price 8.95).
I informed her that DG needed to honor posted sale despite her excuse her register was not deducting sale price. Also management had to honor sale and take down wrong posted price. She also mentioned that several customers complained to her and manger before me.
She was rude, unperceptive and had Manager to tell me buy the beer at regular price or stop shopping there. Very rude and insulting behaviors. I've shopped at DG since inception. I demand investigation and apology from Cashier and Manager along with disciplinary actions.

On July 1, 2019, I purchased two Lego sets and a few greeting cards. When I wrote a check for $32.08 the cashier had trouble running it through the register and the check kept getting jammed. Instead I used my debit card and she still had trouble with it. It finally worked, but the register would not print a receipt. I went ahead and left, thinking all was well...I got my bank statement in the mail today and found I was double charged for this amount. I went to the store and asked about it, Manager told me there was nothing she could do, as it was all handled at the Corporate Office. She gave me someone elses receipt after tearing part of it off and told me to do the survey to get my money back. I called the 1-877-463-1553 number and was referred to 1-800-678-9258, called this number and was told to call 1-615-855-4757. By this time their offices were closed and I left a message. If this was only for a couple of dollars I would just let it go, but $32.08 is more than I care to lose. The dollar general key holder for 9522 Ruben Riley. Spit chewing tobacco at me when i was checking out. It was very disgusting. Why can he chew while he is working. He is extremely rude. He acts like it is a chore to help customers. He coughs ans hacks on people. He smells very bad. Something needs to be done about him. He never smiles or helps a customer.

Today, 7/29/2019 I purchased a frozen box of Sausage Biscuits from dollar general on us 20 Swanton, OH today that was dated "use by 04/07/2019" ! This is unacceptable! I have the receipt and product. What will be done about this? I noticed that there was only one person in the store. She had to stock shelves, dispose of boxes, man the register and watch the front door, etc all at the same time. She was very friendly!
If there are problems with your distributors, fix it. No customer should have to drive back to a store for an eatable item that has been expired for 3 months!

We have 3 dollar general stores in Brewton Al. community. I visited the store on Douglas ave. Twice last week. This has to be the nastiest filthiest store of any retailer in town. Just absolutely horrible. Everything is a complete mess. Why dont you get it clean? If you dont believe me or want to send someone i will gladly send photos. Just pure gross neglect by your district manager and store manager. Maybe the new store want end up like this.

I have been a customer of the location on Vincennes St. in New Albany, IN for a few years. I went to this location approximately 2 weeks ago and was told I was not allowed to shop and when I asked why, the salesperson stated that she did not need to give me a reason. About a week before i had been in there and i must have caught the cashier having a rough day. She did ask me if she could help me, however, she did so extremely rudely. I told her i had been looking for some shampoo and conditioner and I pointed down the pet aisle (about half of one side is the clearance items), and said "I think I saw some cheaper ones down here" to which she replied in a very condescending and snotty tone "That is the pet aisle". After she went to ring out a customer, I went down to the clearance items and grabbed a bottle of conditioner. I took it to the front and.showed it to her and said "I found it in the pet aisle" and then walked out of the store. She came out behind me and screamed at me that i wasnt allowed back in. Knowing I did nothing wrong, i didnt think much about it until my.visit a couple weeks ago. I have to admit that my appearance is a bit eccentric. I have blue hair, tattoos, and piercings. My fashion choices are not what most others choose to wear, however, I've never been treated so disrespectfully, based on what I feel was my appearance, at any store before. I thoroughly enjoy shopping at your store, but the rude staff at that one store has caused me to not work to shop at any of the other locations near me. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and hopefully we can have some resolution

So I get paid on my money network card every Friday and last week didn't receive my pay. I did end up getting let go the beginning of this week or end of last week but I still should have received my last pay and the store manager isn't responding to anything I say. I was working at the store in Janesville Ca 96130. I don't know what to do or how to handle it

I just visited this store to run in for a few items.notice a young boy around 17 and young girl around 16 stuffing items down their pants followed them down several
Aisles to make sure that is what they were doing and yes they were stealing.
I alerted the 2 young men working the registers and one young man yells across the store what I had just told him and the description of the people stealing .if Dollar General is going to let worked cover for people stealing than Dollar General doesn't need to raise prices for loss of merchandise.this is not the first Dollar General that I have been in and witness people stealing .

When has dollar general started making you leave your purse at the front door I have my important things in my purse the lady Kalia said it's leave my purse or shop else where I was pissed I asked who was the store manager she said Patrice no last name but who and when did dollar general put into policy if I didn't leave my purse at the front I couldn't shop there ok so I took my money to Family Dollar where I don't have to leave my purse at the front and I hate Patrice wasn't there to tell me herself because I would like to speak with her boss to ask her why would she agree to let Patrice tell customer's if they don't leave the purse with their personal information in it up front to shop some where else I advice anybody not to shop at this dollar general because of that policy it's not right
