Ackermans POPI Act. Non compliant.and harrasment

On 24.05.24 i went to pick up my layby at Ackermans Diamond Pavilion.

One cashier asked my number for her colleague(Lionel),where I said NO.

She then asked if that is my cell number on the layby pick up slip. I responded and said if you dare take my number it is against the POPI Act and I will lay a formal complaint.

She continued by giving my number to her colleague who continues to call and harrass me,sending text and I hate this. I am even scared to set foot and pay my account or pick up my other layby. I too work in the same complex and fear for my safety.

Ackermans Cancellation of lay-buy

Hello, I made a lay-buy in Ackermans at Mankweng and now I want to cancel it using my ID because I lost my original slip and when I go there to cancel it the cashiers are refusing to cancel it using my ID, and I really need to cancel it because I am a student and I need to get my laptop fixed as soon as possible using that cash.

Ackermans Cellular

I write this email with a heavy heart I bought a phone on the 8 April 2024 a Mobicel MX3 which gave me problems took it back on the 10 April 2024 got a Hisense U984 not sure about the brand it gave me to network problems went back the 11th was told it wasn't rica mean while they did it for the second time went back 15th cause of seven days was almost over the manager by Ackerman Kimberly Galeshewe told me they can't give or refund me due to they reset it again and its working but wen i get home network lose he told me if it does the same after 7days it will b booked in mean while i never got to use it i had to shout and fight to now avail i decided to leave the phone due to i cant take a phone with problems according to the 7day rule but i was refused by the manager himself i ask for way forward

Ackermans 2 x Itel Cellphones

I bought this phones at Ackerman's Belfast Mpumalanga on the 23rd of December 2023.The phones are faulty and keeps displaying UI System not responding.I went to exchange it and they told me they can because the IMEI number is not on the box.But the number is on the slip and on the phones and it's corresponding.This is the second time Ackerman's refuse to return or exchange in their 7 days policy.So I must just loose my money because they don't care.

Ackermans Magnet not remove from shop

I made a lay-by at the Ackermans store. I made the final payment to receive my lay-by and sent it to Mpumalanga for my daughter. I found out that they hadn't removed the magnet. Then I went to the nearest shop similar to the one I bought and I requested the proof of purchase slip. Unfortunately, I misplaced the slip but I thought they could help me because the tag price was not removed.

They refused to help me and I decided to go back to where I bought the clothes but still, I was not helped and was told that it no longer appeared in their system. As a result, I'm stuck with these clothes that have not remove magnets.

Ackermans Mobicel phone

Good day, Sir/Madam

on Tuesday (29/11/2023) I purchased a mobicell phone at ackermans in vaal mall. the phone is giving me problems it over heats and incoming calls reflect after a long time most of the time it even goes on voicemail. today I returned the phone but I was told I cannot be refunded and it was even a struggle to take in for repairs they said m going to be reliable to pay a fee for repairs. the receipt said if I experienced technical problem with the device I can return it. within seven days however, this is said not to be applicable anymore. I am not happy with the device because it is unable to fulfil a primary need to receive calls and I would like to get a refund please.

Ackermans Refund of layby that I made

Goodday sir/madam

I mildred matshoi id [protected] is complaining about ackermans in matlosana mall, klerksdorp. I did make a laybye at that store.. For my kids, but due to circumstances and finincial problems I won't be able to continue with the laybye. Everytime I would go to the store to want refund they would just tell me that the system is offline and that they can't at the moment. It is now my 3td attempt to go to the store and with no help.. Always the same story.. Am very angry because the distance to drive to the store is very far and cost me alot of petrol. I really feel that the service is very poor.. And need your intervention.. I want my refund please.

Ackermans Card blocked and incorrect balance on ackermans card

I went to ackermand today. Payed 2000 rand on my account and balance increases but available balance still shows zero and installments show zero. Spoke to an agent and my card got blocked. Also have the same problem my name has been reported in all the credit bureau. while my account was paid on the 27th i also have the thank you massage but yesterday i received intimidating message warning me to action my account otherwise they are taking actions further

Ackermans Premio Tablet 7

I bought the premio tablet at Makhado crossing Ackermans for my child,it fell & the screen got damaged,I tried returning it back to shop,they couldnt help,I tried everywhere where fix phones they cant because they dont have the screen replacement,I cant find it anywhere,why Ackermans would sell products that doesnt have fittings,I really do not know what to do with it right now,Im very much disappointed by Ackermans would like them to do something about it

Ackermans Services

I'm being over charged at Ackerman's I don't why and for what the last time I took things at Ackerman's was the day I opened the account with them I then paid it fully but now I keep receiving messages from them that I must pay a certain amount and I didn't take anything since I paid it so what exactly is it that I'm paying this is really annoying coz my name will be in bad records which is something I was avoiding hence I paid it so please help and explain why this occurs if I knew that this is how they operate I shouldn't have opened it at all other credit providers when you don't owe them your balance won't increase if there's nothing you buying and Ackerman won't let me take things so I pay for what I don't know they ripping me off

Ackermans Customer service

Hi, i recently lay-byed a few items from Ackermans Douglas branch and when i went to return one of the items which was on sale, they said that i could only get something to the value of R50 because the item was further marked down from R179.95 to R50 and because i didn't have the invoice stating the prices of the items, they couldn't give me the same amounts worth of items... i do have the receipt that they gave my husband when he collected my laybye (they did not hive him the other receipt with the prices on) and they probably can see on the system when i made the laybye and how much was paid. The price tag is also still on the item. I am very disappointed, it's daylight robbery. How can i lose R130 worth of money? #angry

Desired outcome: I dont want my money back, i just need an item to the same value as paid for on the laybye!

Ackermans Lay-bye

I made a lay-bye on the 26/09/2023 at Ackermans Mokopane store 881 , 61 Voortrekker Street around 16;00 contract number: [protected] to my disappointment on 17/10/2023 i went to paid up and collect my la-bye I was told it's not there after they made me wait for almost two hours. how is that possible ? the staff were so ignorant and did not show any remorse towards their attitude and the items I lay-bye are no longer in stock. good customer service and client satisfaction is not their priority , I had a terrible experience at the store.

Desired outcome: I would like the store to compensate me with the goods I lay-bye because I wasn't fairly treated and i lost trust in my favorite store which dressed me since I was a toddler to date.
