1/5/20 I went thru the drive-thru at the Azle, TX CVS. I picked up 3 month supply of Metformin and oxycodeine. After getting home I noticed it was not the RX I was expecting, so I called to do a refill and spoke with Matt. After I hung up, I started counting the pills because I have had pills missing two prior times! This time I was short 75 pills of Metformin. I immediately called back to speak with the pharmacist, I did not get to speak to him, but Matt (tech) is the one who helped me at the drive-thru and asked how he could help. I explained the situation and he said, "A machine counts the pills so I'm sure you have them all". I told him I counted twice and my husband counted them. He was very nice and said to bring them back and that they would fix it. Now, I have had 2-4 pills missing before, but 75, there is definitely wrong with the machine or someone is stealing them. Matt was very apologetic and said he would speak to the head pharmacist as well as the techs the next day. I am afraid that someone is pocketing pills and honestly, I do not want to have to count 360 pills every time I go in.
Desired outcome: I am only submitting this to make you aware. I am going to continue to use CVS, but if this happens again, I will be moving to another pharmacy
