stucked in the smart connection!
I am using two smart numbers in shimla one is +[protected] and +[protected], i am sorry to say it is the worst, when i saw reliance brand name on smart i thought that it must be providing 3g service or at least edge but forget all these this company does not have their internet site and customer care people are hectic and stupid. They tell u their name wrong ask personal question and please don't be surprised they can shout on you also, signal quality is below poor, balance automatically deducts after 3 hours and no record of it even with customer care. Now you will definitely say that this is not our department but just tell where will a customer like me will go, he has no other option, i am just stucked in this connection called smart. If you people cant handle it then please shut down the company. I hope this e mail of mine will bring some light on smart issue. Please help all reliance smart customers. Save them from this smart!

Every time when i call from Reliance India card, I'm not able to make any call. i face this problem many times, worst time is 15 hrs, in which I'm not able to make any call. And the Customer Care of Reliance Infocom. Is so poor responder and give STUPID ans.

I bought a new CDMA handset of nokia model no 1255.I am facing problem in it. People calling me complaints of hearing echo of their voice.I am also unable to hear clearly and the handset get switched off often automatically.
I had a broadband connection which i got disconnected in March 2008. At that time a landline connection was given free. Now despite disconnection of broadband a bill for Rs 505 has been sent. kindly look into the matter.

misuse of credit card
Someone in RELIANCE COMM NY is using my credit card to purchase services. I've tried to contact RELIANCE and the toll free number provided by the operator belongs to a trucking company in New York. Operator also provided me with a contact that has a voice mail of a Hindu guy asking to leave a message. If this is RELIANCE's practice, let's get them out of business.

mobile is not working!
Its been three days that my phone is not working. When I call up Customer Service on *333 the kind of response which I get is so bad that one can not even imagine. First of all, the adviser does not give me the complete information (I wonder if they have got proper Product Knowledge?) I wonder if they have got the complete Product Knowledge.) Every time I am being told that there is some congestion in the network which will be over by 6:00P.M; 7:00P.M; 8:00P.M; and so on. When my phone did not work even after they said time then, again, I called up the customer care service inquiring about the same and then the adviser (Named “Javed”) tells me that the problem has been rectified and I should not face any kind of problem. He starts giving me the INSTRUCTIONS that HOW SHOULD I USE MY OWN TELEPHONE.
Today, 29th May 2007, as well I called up the Customer Care Department and told them that its been the third day that my phone is not working then again they narrated me the old story, which was wait till 12:30 P.M. and the phone will start working. I asked to have a word with the Manager and the Supervisor warns me to disconnect my call.
I do not understand that why such a big company is being so UNPROFESSIONAL. This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL Service I have ever seen in my life. The most UNRELIABLE service I have ever seen in my life. The Customer Service which does not care about its Customers is not the Customer Service. Customer Service is a face of the Company and if the customer will get such a kind of response then you can wonder that what kind of impact you are giving to the Customers.
There is no care about:
1) Customer Satisfaction.
2) Do not know how to TALK to the customers.
3) NO Product Knowledge.
4) Tell lie to the customers, I do not know why?
5) Many more, which I can not even explain.

I had a Reliance Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) connection (No. 033-[protected]) which was installed on February 07, 2004 at my residential address 71 (Old 105 Dakhsin Para Road, Kolkata 700028) and at that time the they took Rs. 1800/- (Rs. 800/- for installation charge and Rs. 1000/- as security deposit). The telephone connection was taken through J.P. Traders, 569 Jessore Road, Kolkata 700074. After about two years I found that the service is not up to the mark and subsequently I surrendered the FWP in Reliance Web World Express, 18 Dum Dum Road, Nager Bazar, Kolkata 700074 on February 25, 2006. During the surrender process I paid Rs. 647/- in cash as due phone bill at pro rata basis up to February 25, 2006 along with handset with all its accessories (original receipt with me) and I was told that an additional Rs. 290/- (rental for following month, March, 2006) would be deducted from the security deposit. In April 05, 2006, some S. Sarkar of the same Web World Express gave me the receipt regarding the ‘submission of FWP in good condition with all its accessories’ (MDN: [protected]; RSN: RLGFW200657082).
Almost 15 months have already passed following the surrender of FWP but unfortunately, the Reliance people have neither contacted me (Resi. Phone No. was provided) nor returned my security deposit. Meanwhile, I have visited twice the same Web World Express but they could not be able to give any positive answer. I have last visited on April 04, 2007 and that time I have found a cheque of Rs. 588.00 in my name dated in August, 2006 is lying with them. They have been trying to deliver the lapsed cheque to me and asked me to revalidate the same from Reliance House, Chowringhee, Kolkata as the delivery man could not find residential address but I have refused to receive it.
I am now surprised that during the time of installation, the same Reliance people verified my residential address and get a paper signed at that time but this time they have failed to localize the same address. I believe that the amount printed in the lapsed cheque should not be Rs. 588.00 as I have surrendered everything in good condition.
The companies like this never bother the interest of customers. Whenever a customer fails to perform his formality, the company people do not forget to take steps in their favor but the reverse is very much not true. In the present case, they do not think of the customer as I am at the receiving end.
During the surrender of instrument I cleared all dues including rental up to April 25, 2006 and I do not understand why they had charged me another Rs. 290.00 as rental for the following month. What is the basis of charging like this? I had no phone connection in March, 2006 but I had to pay the rental for the said month as per their discretion. I claim the full security deposit (Rs. 1000.00) what is lying with them at the very earliest convenience.

I was a Reliance Infocomm customer having Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) from 13/03.2005 to 09/01/2006. I got the FWP connection under Plan FW700 in March 2005 with handset code No. LP340E. The phone number allotted to was [protected]. I paid all the bills regularly at stipulated dates. Due to some personal reasons, I offered to surrender the connection as well as handset/accessories on 09/01/2006 at at Reliance WebWorld situated at Kapoorthala crossing (near Sahara India Bhawan), Mahanagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (copy of receipt of Service Termination Request enclosed). I was assured by the concerned person that the security deposit (Rs. 2000/- only) of your FWP connection will be sent to you within 3 months of date of surrender.
Upon not receiving the security refund within the above said period, I inquired in the Reliance WebWorld as well as at Reliance Main Office at BTC house, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow (UP) in this regard. Inspite of repeated assurance from concerned officers, I am yet to receive the security refund of FWP connection [protected].
I had communications with Reliance customer care at several time point but I am sorry to say that no conclusive explanation was received from that end.

I have a RGSM and a CDMA connection, I am having problem since No both network is available in my area for the past 1 month connection is available on roof top.
Customer care is of no help as they claim that the network is o.k. I Think "The most Third class network in Lucknow U.P. East (CHOWK BAJAZA).

Since last three days her outgoing calls have been disconnected and since 17th May even her incoming calls are not being routed through.

I tried to call every concerned person for the getting my STD activated but i came to know that i got a old number which was deactivated 2 years back and now its coming back into the circle as per companies policy. I recd an SMS with - "Dear Reliance Customer, New Year Special E-Recharge with Rs 2007, Get 1 year Validity, Rs1638 Talktime and 2007 Local SMS Free! Offer ends soon". With this message, it clearly states that the validity is for 1 yr. Recently, I came to know that 2007 SMS were free for 60 days only. On discussing this issue with the customer care for few times, they said that its their policy, but they had never mentioned about this. This is really ridiculous. Simply, they are worse than thief.

fraud sms being sent on various recharge schemes
I have a reliance prepaid mobile connection. The No. is [protected]. On 30 Mar at 06:35 pm I received a SMS from 1232 which read " Dear Reliance customer, now get full talktime and 45 days validity with Rs.360 recharge, HURRY! offer ends 31 Mar 07". On 31 mar 07 I got my prepaid account recharged for 360 rupees on a recharge voucher. But I was not given full talktime. Instead I got a message " Recharge successful. The balance after recharge is Rs. 151.60. Account Expiry date is 30/04/07". I called up the customer care regarding this non receipt of the talktime on recharge as per scheme. My SR No. was [protected]. On 05 Apr 07 I have received a SMS that there is no extra talktime ofer with paper RCV. This is cheating the customer by sending fraudulent messages and thereafter not honoring it. For the SMS did not specify any thing about paper RCV or any other issue. Reliance needs to be ashamed of this act which is not expected of company of such repute. Well the reputation has dipped to a low with me. Anil Ambani also needs to know about this fraudulence and if he knows of it needs to hang his head in shame.
fake statements, poor customer service!
I have recharge my Reliance mobile from HDFC Net Banking, said amount has been deducted from my bank account but i have not received Top-up amount in my mobile. When I have inquired about the same with Reliance Customer Representative they had denied saying that there were no such transaction happened on that respective date. Even they are not ready to note down the complaint for the same.
They all are getting training to make Fake Statement saying that "Our System do not showing any such transaction". Just Guess if there system showing wrong transaction, think about there representative, how could they says correct statement.
I have recharge my Reliance mobile with Rs 1100/- (1NDIA Plan) from Mobile Shop on 13/07/2007 at 8:35 PM. I got the conformation from 2811. After 3 mins of this conformation, I get another message from 2811 saying that I have been recharged with 105 (Life Time Plan) on 13/07/2007 at 8:37 PM. Due to this, my 1NDIA Plan gets override. When I have inquired about the same with Reliance Customer Representative they had said that it’s my fault, they can’t help me and I have to use the new plan or recharge again. But I am searching for my fault. If someone recharges my mobile by mistake (or intentionally), where is my fault? Why should I suffer? Why there is no option to the receiver mobile phone to accept/reject any recharge plan?
When anybody call from out side the person who is calling, he is listening songs instead of ringing sound. It seems very worst. I don't want the irritated songs. When i try to change the options it can not change songs to a common ring tone.

I am using Reliance Mobile for last 6.5 years. That time I purchased Instrument at Outside (the shop is used to sell Mobile Instruments along with connections of AIRTEL, RELIANCE etc., ) Mine is Prepaid. That time it self I gave my ID Proof along with Photograph. After 3 years I got call from Customer care saying that I need to submit CAF form. It seems that how reliance back office people are working. The next day it self they deactivated my outgoing connection. Then I went to reliance web world again I submitted my ID Proof along with one more photograph. After 48 hrs my outgoing is activated. Recently I got anonymous messages saying that my CAF is incomplete. Then I called Customer care to check what documents they really need. Surprisingly my mobile number is registered with some other guy. Even after submitting my CAF form for twice in 4 years these people have not done any updations. Seems that how lazy these people are. Then I went to Reliance Webword at Himayatnagar, again submitted ID Proof and one more photograph. Its a shame thing that these people have collected my ID Proof thrice in 6 years. One fine morning got message saying that my outgoing service is barred. I called customer care. What we can expect from worlds worst customer care! We don't have any information regarding your CAF, go and contact the place where you submitted your CAF. Again I went to Reliance webworld. The guy asked me to go to reliance headoffice at ABIDS. Moreover the guy (they called TL) advised me to take left and right for customer care service people. It indicates that there is no communication between customer care and reliance webworld. Its very bad. I frustrated and called customer care surprisingly the girl ( I could not remember her name) but she is so helping.) immediately send one message to me and told me that my outgoing will be activated with in 12 hours. But this time they worked very fast and activated my account with in 2 hours. Just now I called customer care and asked whether my mobile number is registered with my name or some others. They said still it is with some other name. Again and again I have to submit CAF's to reactivate my outgoing connection. This is what I understand from reliance webworld. I request higher authorities please look into this matter and do needful.

Poor customer service
I think Reliance Customer Service needs proper training, at least if they cannot help.. should not misguide the customer. they are not ready to explain anything, other than giving illogical excuses. I have Submitted the Address / Identity verification Documents on 8th March, as I got SMS on 5th March. The 1st thing, if you are sending any such kind of sms to customer, you can also write in sms, what documents you need. Customer is not free to make rounds of Customer Care. When I reached WebWorld with a passport on 7th March, they said no.. they want different documents for Address proof, very next day submitted all the required documents. and on 10th March, I'm getting sms that my outgoing calls are deactivated. I called customer care from landline, as from mobile it never connects :(, and they said it will take 72 hrs. Now whenever i'm calling they are giving different reasons, on 15th March, One girl said , documents are verified, it will be activated any time. today is 18th I called twice I got two reasons, contact WebWorld they will tell me, then why for Customer care just for the sake of timepass. Other girl said I 'll have to resubmit the document. This is the worst service I'm getting.

i am/was ur customer with netconnect connection num [protected]. my bills of jan n feb were due to be cleared. your rep approached me on 05 April 2017 to come to my office around 1815 hr. he didnot. he finally came on 06 april 10 to my office n showed d pending dues of my connection. v agreed to an amt of rs 1600 to be paid by me n get d connection deleted.
Now the tale of mental harrasment of me n my family starts. your rep called 9 to 11 times on my mob num [protected] apart from number of msgs on 06 apr from [protected] hr. the phn was wid my wife n she was busy wid another phn call where sum mishap(death) had taken place. ur rep kept callin, msgin. she called ur rep once she was free, around 1920 hr n gave my mob num - [protected](wid me in my office). i gave a call to ur rep n found him so demandin tht y havent i paid d bill till tht time. it was so shockin. still i told him tht i shall check up n let him know. i had sent my personnel but his bike got punctured n so the delay in payment. i paid rs 800 at ur reliance office on near adlabs, stn road, kota. i had to msg him the deatiled account. n when i returned home, checked up my mob(wid my wife-[protected]), i was taken aback by seeing so many calls n msgs askin the RECEIPT NUMBER. n in the night again a call at 2311 hr.
next day on 07 apr, at 1020 hr, he's askin me y i paid only rs 800. i said, i shall pay the bal amt later, may be in even or 2 morro. his reply was to pay the bal immediately n he'll call again at 1300 hr to confirm. now this was ABNOXIOUS. i told him i shall pay n not to bother me by callin again n again. he's adamant to call at 1300 hr again. i had to clearly say NO to him n hang up the phn. he again called me n threatened me to speak to my Boss n asked his number. he's reminding me of my commitment to pay 1600 on 06 apr failin which he's authorised by reliance to mentally harass the people by continous callin them.

regardin non-payment. i already had sent my personnel n spoken to ur rep at rel office at stn road, kota for settlin my dues n deletin my account on 03/04 apr. she told me she needed permission from ur main office near CAD circle, kota. she confirmed me to pay 1600 n settle the account. i still thot if i cud visit ur main office n pay afer some waive off(rs 150). On 06 apr ur rep(against whom i ve lodged the complaint) came to my office and told me option to upgrade to HSD n some low rental plans n i saw the drastic change in his attitude as i confirmed that i don want to continue. he just wanted to clear the bill as he mentined that it was his CLOSING day. i came home n discussed wid my wife n finally decided to pay rs 800 n then vis ur main office for details of low rental n how cud i upgrade to HSD. but it was a bizarre experience when i am gettin call from ur rep n straightway askin y the payment was nt made in full?

This is to express my frustration for the RIM Prepaid, I took one number from them on 12th June 2017 (it comes with 7 days validity along with it) and recharged the same for one month validity (Rs 205 Recharge Card), I got the SMS confirming the same from them which says that the account is recharged and it will expire on 12th July. I was happy. Then I started getting SMS after two days from them saying that the account is expiring on 19th of June which is just one week free validity given from them along with the number taken. I went to the place where I took the number from and they say that they don't deal with these issues and the customer care ppl say that they cant help it... Its not a matter of 205 rs instead the poorest service that they can provide. Where do I go for this? I have no clues!
I am really bugged with the way "reliance" is treating! I did not subscribe for various schemes proposed by the company like""...and hence last month around 180 bucks were cut off from my balance...noticing this i requested the customer care to unsubscribe all the mentioned schemes..and i was told that it was mistakenly subscribed by me ...and the the company then promised me to unsubscribe them and noted my complaint that these schemes will not be renewed further...but now i feel cheated when the same thing happend again...around 60 rupees gone again for something i neither subscribed nor am i interesed in!
Hence, I humbly request you to unsubscribe all the schemes right now and refund the money, closing my all schemes.

Powersurfer(Reliance) have advertised and started a so called broadband connection which claims to be a 128 kbps connection, nowhere do they mention that it is shared in any way and if in fact it is they are unable or have not bothered to answer me regarding what average and minimum speed i can expect from this connection, as i understand if i have a 128 kbps connection the speed for downloading files should be in the 14-16 kbps speed range at least, i never see those kinds of speeds, the average speed ranges around 70-90 kbps for browsing and about 8-10kbps for download, their services regarding compensating consumers for any downtime is also questionable, because their actions for collecting fees is extremely prompt to the minute in fact but any connection losses and downtime is at the consumers own peril, god help him.When asked a wide variety of diferent responses is received from different people concerned with providing the internet service which are too innumerable and varied to mention here.
i had got a recharge of Rs 799 on 15th Sep 2017 ..and as per your message the recharge was successful..since then i am not recieving any of its benefits on 17th Sep 2017 and my balance is being deducted @ 90 paise /min on other network no...i had talked to your customer care executives and had filed so many...

I got an email from relianceindiacall stating that they will give double talk time for first two recharges before Jan 15. I charged for $10 and got double talk time and then I made another charge for $200 and they didn't give me the double talk time. When I called they said that they have changed the policy. I asked for refund and they said they will not do it. Disgusting, cheap and fraud being played by reliance. This wasn't expected from such reputed company.

I am Reliance broadband consumer. I am using reliance broadband + from last 4 month in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad area. My complain is regarding the speed of the broadband. I am getting speed of 1 or 2 KPBS per second and in case if I am not touching my mouse for 1 minutes the broadband gets disconnected. I called their customer care service many a times. Initially they said that after 12 'O clock mid night the speed will improve, I tried it but still the speed was same. They whenever I use to call them they use to said that their is some problem going on in your area and it will get resolved by certain date... Last time when I called them they said it will get resolved by 1st September-2017 . But, still the speed is same . yesterday when I called them they said now this issue will get resolve by 30- Oct-2017. And I am damn sure the speed will not improve after this date also. I do not know when they can't provide good speed for which they are charging me monthly then why don't they charge me only for my usage. As of now I have taken unlimited plan for INR 820/- per month with the speed of 3.1MBPS speed for upto 2 GB and then 256KBPS for rest of the month. inactivation of the outgoing calls and inefficient handling of the complaint!
This is regarding inactivation of outgoing calls on my cell (Reliance cdma) I was asked to submit the document (Caf) , and following that I have submitted the documents in forum mall (Bangalore) , rel web world on 1st march 2007. I was told the necessary follow up will be done and I don't need to worry about it further.
On sunday eve i. E: 4 march. I got an sms that my outgoing calls have been barred and I need to contact the customer care.
Monday morning on 5th march, I called up the customer care no. And explained my problem, I was assured that my service will start within maximum 24hrs. However when I called up again the same evening (6.15 pm) same day I was told no complaint has been registered for the same. I again logged a complaint (No.[protected]) with your customer care personal and was told that the request will be resolved immediately. However no action was taken against the complaint.
On 6th morning I called up again to confirm about complaint resolution. I was told that it will be done within 2 - 3 hrs time. At 15.10 again I called up to the customer care dept. I was told that this kind of service request takes up to 72 hrs. I asked for an escalation and spoke to the floor supervisor, he repeated the same vague statements. But did not tell me when can I get the outgoing calls activated again. Thereafter till now (12 march 13.15hrs) outgoing calls have not been activated on my cell in between they also took one more compliant on the same matter ([protected]) , also I have been told many timelines (Ranging from 6 hrs to 24 hrs required for activation) and sadly all of it has been impudently not met. I have also visited their webworld in forum mall (Bangalore) but that too did not solve my problem
This has been a very bad experience with reliance and I don't understand how can the service provider bar my out going calls when I have already submitted the required documents well in advance. The whole process of handling the service request is highly unprofessional and extremely poorly managed.

problem in calling if 2 different users registered
I am using Reliance India calling card for the past 5 months. But now i am unable to call from my hotel number. (I have shifted myself from one hotel to another hotel).
The reason why I am unable to call is, someone has registered the hotel number (from which I call)in their account so that they can call directly by dialing the PIN. So when i tried to call from this number, i was directly asked to dial the PIN, which i cannot do.
I talked to the customer care executive, and they said that they will release that number after January 31,2007, since there was some offer going on at that time.
But even after that, i faced the same issue and now the customer care executive is saying like, I have to wait till Feb 28,2007, since there is some more offer going on.
I don’t really understand, why they have promised that they will release that number on Jan,31,2007 and for no reason i have to suffer. I have recharged for 50$ and I am not able to use it now.
I am not really happy on this situation and if it still continues, I have no option other than going to some other calling card and I’ll quit from Reliance India call account.
I am agree with you. Same is happened with. My home phone is registered by somebody six months back and it reallotted to me by AT&T.

mobile phone exchange policy is a scam!
I bought the LG 7230 CDMA handset in June 2004 for ~Rs. 16,000 and when I approached the Reliance Communications office for upgrading to latest handset, I was surprised to find that I will be waived only Rs. 2000 for my old handset. The exchange policy must be based on the current market cost of the mobile and age of the mobile handset. This is clear case of freezing the customers in Reliance Communication as the service could not changed with CDMA phone.
I think that as the 'quoting' process is done blind i.e. they cant see the condition of your phone, then theyre within their rights to offer a reduced amount.. this is perfectly understandable and i for one wouldnt pay any cash for anything without seeing it first. Do you get notification of the final price before they send money?
poor service from reliance broadband
I wanted to have Internet connection from Reliance. One person Sanjeev from Reliance came to me for this. He told that reliance box is at my building's roof, so internet connection will be given very fast within 3 days. He collected cheque for the same around 19th Oct, 2006. After 10 days, I did not got any communication from Reliance. I was that time in very much need of internet. I called him so many time but he stopped picking up my phone and if he picks(when I called from some other phone), he will say that he is busy and will call back after some time.
I was not expecting any poor service from Reliance so I thought that this person cheated me and I was planning to lodge a compliant against him, but I got call that some people from reliance has come to install internet. It one month now I have given the cheque and I was not expecting that a world reknown indian MNC will have such a poor service.
From OCt till date, I am writing Reliance Customer care for my refund, but every time I got the same e-mail back saying that I will be getting my refund in 10 days.

I have taken reliance WiMax connection for last 1 months and as far as i remember I have raised atleaset 20 complaints till now. The internet never works. Once after calling their customer care several times they had fixed the issue and the internet started working for next 30 mins. Then again disconnected and it never came back. On the evening of 29th june i had contacted Mr. NARANJAN the sales man of the broadband services for the connection. At that day only i have made the payment of rupees 500 to him for the for the further process , he told me that The connection would be installed in my house in next 15 days. After 15 days when i called him, he told me to talk to Mr. VISAL SRIVASTAVA how was responsible for the connection in my area. I had a talk to him & he told me that the connection would be installed in next 2 days, but it did not happened so. I called him after 2 days he told me to wait as he would tell me after few mins. But he did not called me & when later i called him he did not picked up my phone call. I then called the customer care of the broadband they told me to talk to mr. VISAL SRIVASTAVA but he did not picked up my phone. I have my complaint regarding these people when ever i call them they all give me a excuse or rather tell me a lie . For the last 20 days they have not done even a single work regarding this. Yesterday i had a talk to MR.VISAL SRIVASTAVA he told me he did not has the service order, then i talked to the wireman m. PRAVIN he told me he does not has booster, every single person is giving excuses but not doing there work. It has been more than 22 days and yet there is no signs of the connection to my house.

I share the same thoughts for what other poor reliance broadband users are facing, It's absolutely pathetic and very poor services such big indian MNCs Reliance broadband providing to it's customers.
I've been using their services for last 2 months despite i have paid all their bills and dues but there connection never been up. the most frustrating thing is that there isn't any face or counter where you can go and explode your anger. their customer service is really poor must say... I've logged compliant many times and I've given assurance that the problem will be fixed within 24 hours time but none is been done.

I have been using RelianceIndiaCall service for about 3 years now to call my family & friends in India. The voice clarity has been pretty good, not much of dropped calls and reasonably cost-effective too. However, a recent experience is making me re-think if I should continue using this service. Here's the series of interactions that led to my distasteful experience with RelianceIndiaCall:
(1.) Mail I received from RelianceIndiaCall on Dec 22, 2006.
"Dear Customer,
It gives us great pleasure to share with you, that Reliance India Call now has a million customers around the world. While we are justifiably elated with this achievement, what makes it truly memorable, is your commitment and trust in this relationship that we share over the last few years and which has made this happen.

As we understand from your mail, you have concerns regarding your recharge. This is to inform you that in this celebration offer under Prepaid plan you would get double the recharge amount on the 1st two-recharges done from the date of offer launched up to 31st January 2007 23:59 Hrs IST.
Further to inform you that there is no validity period for prepaid vouchers. The recharge credited to your account does not expire as long as your account remains active.

(3.) So I went ahead and made 2 re-charges over a period of 1 week... All under their promo. scheme.
(4.) The 1st re-charge happened fine, and the double re-charge was credited to my account soon.
(5.) Now, after the 2nd re-charge, I realized I did not get the double re-charge credit :-? So I asked them why... Here's their response -
"Dear customer,
We at Reliance India Call have been truly overwhelmed by your response tour Celebration Offer. This is encouraging for us because we are constantly looking at ways to be of better service to you.
However, we request you to visit our website (www.relianceindiacall.com)and read the terms and conditions carefully before taking up the offer. I have a strong aversion to companies that try to mislead (or is "cheat" the word here?) their customers by a whole lot of fine prints - for low ticket items like the referred one, how many of us do actually *read* all their lengthy user agreements?
- We choose a service based on certain broad criteria;
- Moreover, when it is a branded service (like that of RelianceIndiaCall), we are even okay with paying a slight premium (price) given the understanding that the service carries the company's implicit promise to not to cheat/mislead their customers.
But, what RelianceIndiaCall did - it is unprofessional to say the least. They might have a whole lot of fine prints (that keep on changing at a pace that you can not even keep a track of it) on their website that would allow them protection in all such cases; But, from the point of view of customer (and that too a regular one) - this tantamount to cheating!
Perhaps, in their view of being customer-centric (rather, lack of it), it might not be of any significance to them even if they lose a loyal customer. It's only when there's a spate of customer switches, then they might wake up one fine day and hold a Customer Retention Team meeting deliberating on the hows & the whys... And all this while, choosing to ignore the initial indicators of customer dissatisfaction.
This is indeed sad!
The RelianceInidaCall provides a very poor service. Generally the Card Recharge is down and we get message 'due to some technical problems we are unable to process your request this time'. We take standard response from the Customer Service Rep that the 'System is down'.
Very poor Service.
They offered a service to download a movie for the additional amount paid for calling. The movie download never worked. Called Customer Support several times only to be told that the issue will be resolved and they can not do anything else. I lost money paid for movie download.

I am also facing the same issue and talking to customer support. Looking at the download procedure, I realized that it will not work and I requested for refund. They refused. Then I tried to download and it does not work. No response from the company that provides download.
My problems with reliance about calling from mobile have been rectified. It was my mistake of a wrong complaint. I was dialing my destination no, once they ask me to press my destination no. You just enter the destination no & it goes automatically. Anyway thanks to Reliance.

I have to state that i am a regular user of your services. My RIM NO :- [protected] is an easy recharge number. But during last month i have a lots of problem with your services due to wrong charges. When i am calling any local rim no. as for [protected] at night between 11pm to 8 am per minute call is treated as Rs. 1/-. I have a lots of complain to customer care but they give me only a reference no & tell me your problem & wrong charges will solve & return respectively in next 60 hr. But after 60 hr a message comes on my screen form1232 that we check and found it all charges are correctly applied with no refund. The call charges on local rim no is also treated as Rs. 1/- between 8 am to 11pm. Now i am very tired with this problem. I want a permanent solution otherwise i used to leave your services. From last month i have charged about Rs. 375/- in wrong charging. My last reference no is [protected] for Rs.187/-. i have also a complain for poor coverage in my town Bihar sharif. When i am calling anybody after few minutes call failed error occurred due to only one tower for whole coverage in bihar sharif. I have a request to u for best response in rural area besides bihar sharif . A large no. of towers are needed for best coverage. I have also a complain against your customer executive with area manager Mr. Tanweer in webworld (Jagat traders, fraser road PATNA) for bad manners & behavior. To those who are going on and on about Reliance's offer to double the talktime, in response to Airtel's amazingly low rates, here's a word of caution: After signing up with them, I could learn that the new rates and everything was a big sham. They don't give you double the talk time, they just add a few complementary minutes. The advertising is fraudulent!
AirtelCallHome at least delivered on its promises and is a much professional company.
I will any day stick to Airtel and not be lured by Reliance.
I have been using this calling card of one year - Recently I noticed calls are getting rounded off by an extra minute. When I checked with stop watch in parallel, I found their trick.
They start counting time the moment you get connected to 1800 number - if the call to india gets connected.
It is very difficult to catch this, unless you make multiple back to back calls - When I complained about this, they say I am wrong - and did not offer any reasoning when I provided facts.

At 11.00 A.m i call on 198 and started my conversation to Mr. Rakesh they told that some combo pack activated in your account for that they charge Rs.49.
but i never request to approve to activate the service
they are making me fraud by deducting balance from my account then mr rakesh transfer the call to Abhinav, then abhinav transfer the call to shabana, same problem again, shabana transfer the call to her Tl to MR. parthav. the problem is a same when i ask to transfer the call the direct manager they say manager will call you back in before 1.30 pm on same dated.
i have wait but i diidnt recived the call partan has given me one number i.e. ([protected])
I again call on 198 at 2.30 Pm on same dated then Mis gudu recived the call, but sittl i didnt get proper response regards my balance.
So. sir please take a look of my problem and resolved it.

Complete waste of money and time for an unworthy service
I had been transferred to Bangalore and hence had to change my number to local to avoid roaming.I had applied for an address proof to the company I worked in and they provided me with the same in a few days. During the process, I was not asked to submit the proof and had to pay Rs220/- for the process which had been rendered free till last month! After a week,they discontinued the services of my mobile-no incoming,no outgoing,no customer care and no message from reliance stating the reason. On inquiry, I was told that I would have to submit the address proof or wait for 10 days..who the ...would wait for 10 days? They suggested that I take a new number and pay them Rs224/- (all for the slip of responsibility from their side). The people in the web wold didn't warn me that I would be loosing all my balance amount (I had just recharged with Rs675/- coupon). After all that crap and loss of balance,the service was resumed only to be debarred in another week's time without any notice. There was a message this time after 12 hours saying that they haven't received my application form..wt the ...#$%$#%. After umpteen calls to the web world, the person still had the no new answers to give! A complete waste of money and time for an unworthy service.
I took reliance netconnect datacard connnection of UNLIMITED access 5 months back of Rs.1500 rental charge. But every month I get a bill of [protected] and when I call their customer service they keep on hold for 15-20 mins and then transfer my call to all useless duffer executives who even dont know to speak english & respect CUSTOMERS VOICE. Moreover they talk in very annoying tone and give useless reasons saying "Sorry for Inconvenience". I brought a cell phone from Reliance of Nokia make. On March 28, 2007, they barred my outgoing calls and a week after they barred my incoming calls too. I had brought this cell phone a year ago from Reliance Outlet in Changanacherry, Kerala. I went to them, and they asked me to submit my Photo Identity with two photographs of mine to the kottayam, Kerala outlet. To which i protested and said i had brought the mobile from this outlet. Then they accepted my photo identity card copy without giving any receipt for the same. Today it is the 18th of April, and still my cell is not working.
Secondly, my cell number was put in through a software instead of a card, which i want the software removed, so that i can get rid of the Reliance and get a number from other service providers such as BSNL or Idea. I had asked them to do it and they refuse. Truly, i am fed of this so called Reliance Communications.

I bought a USB card/internet connection from Reliance. It turned out, from day one, the USB device was faulty, getting disconnected every 10 minutes. I called the Webworld and they gave it to the service center. Even after 10 days, I neither have the device, nor a replacement, nor a refund. It seems I have lost my money. I am ruing why I didn't go with Airtel.

I just want to tell you a serious concern ( Not me rather all customers at Powai Web world has the same experience). I took new connection from reliance in mid feb ( Due to high Credibility, and just wanted to propose to my HR for the corporate connection). I gave the docs at time and my previous hello bill was pending, a person came from SRM Parel and took away phone wd due amount.
(1) After going min 10 times to powai center they did not help me even ppl were confused what to do.
(2) I deposited 2000 rs for my ISD connection on 24 feb..no one updated my account and i suffered a lot as i had to make imp calls and i was out of bombay ..i told them veryu specifically that i needed that . And they were just careless.
(3) Then i did my biggest mistake trusting once again on reliance. I took one more connection on that card as Jodi offer. They have still not started my connection from last 15 days as my fiancee is suffering and she has no phone...and i went to powai center min 15 times for this they took all my docs 2-3 times.
(4) Then they sent me to Web world at Kurla road ( Prob Sagar tech) saying that this is Termination center go there and update ur status, that was not even a termination center i bunked my company again went to powai world, waisted 300 Rs in Auto and then they finally they told me that they even dont know what to do.
(5) Finally i made a contact wd Shailesh Attrpura at SRM Yesterday he did some changes in my account and then i again went to Rel powai for the same and i dont know what will happen .
Now listen my concerns ( as i have flooded already )
(1) In this whole process i have faced a trauma and waisted around 700-800 Rs in Auto with bunking my company and going there so many times.
(2) Shiny/Natesh they told me to call my fiancee from Aurangabad to Bombay to take the phone (As mobile cant be couriered) She came and they did not do anything.
(3) Now i had told them i am going tomorrow 16 feb to Aurangabad to give her this cell, and still they did not do anything.
Now i just request you to either take some action, if you are not the right person please forward this mail to right person as i have spent 7000 rs in phone and now no one is able to tell my status of phone? Now where should i go?
Is this the Credibility of reliance?

I hope you can understand how disquieting it is to be without a cell for more than 3 weeks! I again went to reliance web world in forum, koramangla from where they called up cust service, the cust service person took my details and told me that my cell will be activated within 24 hrs and gave me a request number too. Now its more than 6 days and still its the same!
Yesterday when I went to reliance web world in forum, koramangla to inquire what had happened, I must say the man behind the counter was in no way useful and in a way was very rude to me when I inquired about my status!

In their Ad they offered Double talk for the first two recharges. The denominations were $50 $25 $10 And $5. The Ad is there from 21st December until 15th January 2007 for first time registrants.I registered for the first time on December 23rd, and was able to charge $50 which they doubled. On the second day I tried recharging, they had removed $50 and $25 dollar denominations for recharge plus all the offer details. Incidentally few other people had copied on their web page all their offer details.
I used to use the pre-paid service of RelianceIndiaCall.com to call India. For the past 3-4 days I just cannot get through to my destination number. On calling the helpdesk they say the destination network must be busy. I used 4-5 different destination numbers on different networks and yet I could not get through. The Reliance system keeps saying "Check your number". Very frustrating. I am able to reach my numbers via AirtelCallHome.com but not through RelianceIndiaCall.com. Anyway, what's more frustrating is that after I call helpdesk they do some tweaking at their end due to which I can reach the destination numbers for a while before the problem re-surfaces. The agent pretends as if nothing is wrong with their network but the fact of the matter is that the network and technology they use is substandard and they mislead clients saying "there is nothing wrong please try again". Airtel offers much better service and I recommend it.
When I registered for Reliance long distance the greeting was just reasonable. However, the current greeting is annoying in terms of content and length. It is a perfect advertisement to turn off customers.
I am not able to login to the reliance India call URl for the last one month.

I had one RIM prepaid connection since march 2005.One day it stopped functioning.When I contacted there customer care I was directed to contact their web world and accordingly I went there. After verifying the details the poor chap there told me that the problem is not by any mistake of mine but the agency which gave me connection faked to forward my application and details to the company.
I politely told him to think what an illogical and irresponsible action the company has taken. The company is punishing a customer for the negligence of the company's agency! The man there who has become sorry personified already told me that what the company demands now for taking a connection from the most irresponsible mobile provider of India is to spend my valuable time to repeat all the formalities I completed about 20 months back. If any responsible representative of the company was there in front of me I would have slapped him just then for this great insult and would have gone to jail. Now all I can do is to pray for an early debacle and disaster for this bogus company. From 2-3 days there is consistent problem with the reliance mobile service in Mumbai. On dialing a reliance Number a message comes "Network Busy" and the problem more prominent when you try to access the Reliance Number from an Airtel Mobile.
What is the problem or is there any rivalry between the two. Why are the consumers like myself are suffering?Is there any end to this? This a serious problem and calls for "TRAI" to step in .

I am a customer of Reliance GSM service. An amazing fact happened to me from the night of 18.06.08. Reliance GSM service provider has recently launched an offer in which one get Rs.1100/- of talk time against Rs.1000/- of RV. I recharged with the same RV on 18.06.08 (Wednesday) at 13.39 hrs. As promised I got a balance of Rs.1100/- added in my account.
On 19.06.08, at about 09.00 hrs when I checked my account balance, I was shocked. It was unbelievable that my account has dropped down to Rs. 235/-. I was sure that I had not called any one for so long that it would cost for Rs.941/-. I contacted to my customer care regarding this down fall of my account balance. They told that I had talked to someone for that amount. But I was sure I had not. So they suggested to check my dialed list. When I gone through my dialed list nothing found strange. Most of the numbers were well known and of local tariff. Then I checked the LOG MENU, a feature which stores all the data of Voice & Data calls. There I got a strange thing. An ISD number i.e. +[protected] has been dialed from mobile. Surprisingly the number does not exist in my dialed list but in LOG MENU it shows that it was several out going calls to that number. The full details of the call are as under:-

To the best of my knowledge I am sure that these numbers are neither known to me nor to any of my family members.
I contacted to the customer care for several time and inform them about the happenings. But they said they can not help. Even they are not believing on my words. Becoming helpless from all sides I am registering my complain here to get some help. I hope I will not be disappointed.
Reliance Info is the biggest criminal company that operates in India by publicly looting it's customers. We customers started using their service by believing in the earlier good reputation of the company. This is the single mistake that can ruin the peace in your life. I had taken a simple prepaid connection from them in Jan 2006 and have faced all usual problems above. I would have stopped long ago but i unfortunately bought an expensive handset from them WHICH WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER PROVIDER.
So here are the problems:
1) They regularly put extra charges like activation fees for caller tunes or extra charges without our knowledge. Most of the time, we don't even realize that these extra charges exist.
2) Accidentally, if we discover this and call customer care to reverse the charges, 99% of the time, they say their systems are down pls call later. After 1 week of calling also this wont change.
Also customer "care" ppl don't care about your problem. Very often you find that after sincerely calmly explaining your problem, there is only silence. Feels like they left the receiver on and went for a coffee and came back. I have never seen another customer service in India do this.
3) Ok, then you think you have to go to the Reliance Web World office to get your problem solved. But when you reach there, you see 100 people with similar injustice waiting for solutions at the Reliance office. You have to wait in the queue for maybe one hour just to talk to someone who has the same attitude as the reliance customer care phone people.
So Reliance Info gives you horrible service and a most stupid customer care.
If you want ulcers, hair-loss, heart attacks, high blood pressure and other diseases from loss of peace, please contact Reliance urgently and get a connection from them.
I wish one day I get Anil Ambani in front of me so I can break his bones with my bare hands...
My wife hold a per paid mobile and on 3rd of April it suddenly had all calls barred and message displaying not yet registered. We contacted reliance web world and they tried but after an hour they said we would raise a complain and someone would contact you on alternative number I gave in next 48 hrs. When I said what do I do during that period if someone contacts me, they said.. Sir we can't do anything..I waited for around 48 hours and then after that I tried reaching Customer care and it was saying that one of our executives would be in touch with you shortly.. but I held the phone on 8th April for 13 minutes listening to all craps then hung the phone.. Next day I again contacted customer care (lucky to get them in 6 minutes and they said that the problem has been resolved on the same day I raised the query. I said that I have not received any calls about the same.. He said may be they didn't contact but anyways you could have called us... which was ridiculous. And the problem with the line was that they were expecting some documents... I said if it was document, You should have sent any message with a time line.. He said yes we could have done.. I said so what do I do now..why should we suffer because of your fault.. He said its not there fault and is customer fault that the document were not submitted. The guys name was Iqbal and was a call center guy.
These useless people ask you to go and submit documents on weekdays and somehow you manage to reach one of the web world and to your surprise, they say sir/madam the problem is not with documentation... We will raise a request and your problem will be sorted out in next 48 hrs... A day later they call you back... (you feel so lucky to have received a call finally) and say sir.. you need to submit your address proof documents.. finally again you submit it and they say it would take 3-4 days..
You go into a new reliance web world when it opened initially, they care about you as a KING but when they have placed there footprints... in the market.. they customer care guys think they are everything and customer has to do what they say...
I am very certain if this type of attitude continues with the companies and you don't have any names published.. whom to escalate when a problem happen.. the customers will be irritated to the maximum extent..
Personally if you ask me .. I feel if I have anyone from Reliance in front of me.. I won't hesitate to slap the person...
Lets see when these useless people get the things sorted out.

i dont want any call from reliance company offers and the sms on the mobile
of company.Because i dont no how to operat the mobile on your calls. And daily sms
make me disturb and many times my balance get deducted on wrong pressing of mobile keys.so please stop the company sms and calls except the balance offers.
Whether u stop the calls and sms of company or i change the operater services number.

reliance smart is one of most bankrupt company in india, its customercare people dont know that they are working under reliance smart. It seems that the company is full of thives & robbers
my phone no is [protected] on 12.4.2009 i checked my balance was rs.64and 14paisa.due to no charge of my battery my phone was off on 16.04.2009 after charging the battery i checked the balance, found that is only 14 paisa. i contacted to customer care asked for complaint no but refused.also said that no balance deducted in last 4 days. pl revert back my balance immediately. saibal chatterjee

I Mr. Pinaki Paul Complaining against your unnecessary upload of
Relainace Music station without my concern. The fact is that. Suddenly
I got a sms on from [protected] on 12 nov. 2008 at 10:55:12 that "Your
request for Reliance Music Station has been accepted and
you soon will be able to listen thousands of songs on your phone".
After a while I got another that is from [protected] on 12-nov-2008 at
11:03:24 "You have subscribed the reliance music Station
successfully, now just dial 57777 and enjoy thousands of latest and
golden songs"
After that I have call the Reliance Customer care. They taken my
complain and give me a complain no [protected]. They ensure me that they
will check the real fact.
Then I got another sms from [protected] on 13-nov 2008 That "You have
been unsubscribe from the Reliance Music station successfully"
Today is 18-nov 2008 I have again call to Reliance Smart customer care
they told that they have deactivated the music station on 17 nov 2008
at 4:29 pm. And till date I got no refund against this unusual
activities. Again I give a complain by complain no [protected] for refund
of this money.
But after one day they told me that there is no way to refund this money.
Sir how can I trust on this service where I am using this service from
very long time. My trust is going out.
Please do the needful as early as possible.

For emergency Internet facility, I had connected Reliance Smart (my no is [protected]) and had paid three hundred rupees with photocopy of my voter ID on 19th October 2008. I am using Samsung Mobile Hand Set and my model no is SGH- J210. The IMEI no is [protected] 0933731/7. From that day I had repeatedly requested (minimum 30 times I made calls) your Customer Care for sending GPRS settings. 19th Oct was a Saturday, On Sunday I had been asked to made a local call from my mobile and to send a SMS “ALL” to 55100. I did. But still now, after 11 days I had not received any setting or any Phone call from RELIANCE COMPANY! I have been cheated by saying that “We are going to send your settings”. Sometimes the person from Customer Care service said “ sending your setting within 30 mints”/ within 1 hour” or “ You will receive a call from our company within 30 minutes” some time they said “Some problem is there in your handset” Several times they wanted to say the process of setting the ‘GPRS setting’ manually. But it didn’t work out. Once, I thought it was true that there is some problem in my handset. But I have tried from another two mobile handsets NOKIA 6300 and SAMGSUN X 700, and have asked customer care for sending settings. But still it didn’t work out. I know that Reliance has charging me for the facility but I am unable to using Internet facility for your dam system.
I too am victim of the same offer like Vijeta!
reliance lifetime connection is just worst ,,,n pathetic too---b'coz got that connection last year aug'06.
till last month the charges were SMART TO SMART-19P. SMART TO OTHERS-59PAISE ,SMART TO S.T.D-99PAISE...these are just quite OK in previous but from last month the charges were increase without a single update or information , now the charges are ----

that co. suddenly start to cheat the smart users like you & me.. wen i spoke with d customer care exe. abt dis circumstances --they said that this lifetime plans have changed & now if you want to decrease the charges of calls then you have to go thr. the power & all that ..then rechage with top-up & you can go with. & in coming days every old lifetime connection automatically come under this plan. without power d charges will be same as above mentioned.
now, this co. only comes on the way to cheat.
I have taken a prepaid Reliance Smart connection one and half month ago. The number activated was [protected]. But now I think that I have made a big mistake because during this short period my connection has been de-activated four times, without telling me the reasion and presently this is inactive for last eight days. When I ask to the shopkeeper, simply he says that your complaint already made but no action is made. As I am very much frusted with the service, kindly let me know the way to solve my problem.
