Today I went to Indane Gas Agency for gas booking. But I was shocked to see that they were forcing consumers to buy a gas pipe which costs 170/-. I was not agreed to buy this pipe because I renewed my gas pipe only few weeks back. I have been very aware of these things such as gas cylinder and its accessories.

Now agency officials are not ready to book my gas even in this festive season, when a person needs it most. When I tried to contact to the Sales Officer Mr. Swarn Singh, he doesn’t pick my phone. Even on land line number.

The complaint regarding Non delivery of gas cylinder by M/s Uday gas agency, Naroda patiya, ahmedabad is as mentioned below.
* Non delivery of gas cylinder even booking has been made on IVRS System on 04-04-2008 for consumer no.28377.
*The delivery man has replied that, he has not any booked cylinder for above said consmer no.
*IVRS system does not give the booking no.
* The behavior of delivery man is not proper.
So, You are kindly requested to make arrngement for gas cylinder quickly to avoid our inconveniency.

I am a LPG Indane customer with Begampur Indane Distributor, Begapur , Dist-Hooghly,pin -712306 and my consumer Number is 4609. I have booked for a refile on 09.02.2008 under Begampur Indane Distributor [protected]). Even though it is nearing fifteen days, I did not get my refile from Indane (Indian Oil Corporation) dealer. It is used to happen every month .

I received a cylinder from the above agency on 31-12-2016 which was without seal and weighed 27 kgs on weighing scale. I called back manager on [protected] and office no [protected] and he told me the home delivery boy is responsible and will replace it next day. My question is that why sell without seal and underweight. Further i paid Rs 700 without receipt. Please look into the matter.

I am a indane customer with ID #22356 and having booked my refill cylinder in third week 0f May'08 and delivery was to have been recd before end of May'08 on checking for dely fresh regn had been again taken on 30-5-08 and delivery was to have effected on 1-6-08 delivery person had come to the premises and had gone undelivered and on chasing again in person on the delay by the distributor office had assured will be delivered on 4-6-08, did not know all this was to bill the customer on the revised price instead of the old price if had delivered promptly in time.

IT IS DISGUSTING TO UNDERSTAND THE INTENTION TO TAKE THE CUSTOMER ON A RIDE WHICH HE HAS TO GULP WITH HELPLESSNESS. BEING ENFORCED ON - WHAT IS THE CHECK ON SUCH EXCESSIVE ACTS AND WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SUCH SLOGANS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BEST AND ACHIEVING AWARDS AT FORUMS WHEN SUCH INCIDENTS MAKE US PONDER WHETHER TO LAUGH OR CRY ON SUCH HUMILIATION! FEEL, IOC OFFICIALS SHOULD TAKE SERIOUS NOTE ON CUSTOMERS LOSING TRUST IN THE FAIR SYSTEM OF DISTRIBUTION WHICH HAS SUCH REPERCUSSIONS.

When we tried to replace the empty cylinder with the new refill which was delivered by the Gas Agency a couple of weeks back, there was too much pressure and and gas leackage was found. Immediately we replaced the cap and registered a complaint with the Indane Gas Distributor, M/s. MJV Indane Gas Agency, Ambattur Indl. Estate, Chennai-58, who has delivered the cylinder to me and I asked them to come by 5.00 pm on 28th June 2010. We could not reach home by 5.00 pm on that day and the Mechanic came sharp by 5.00 pm and went back saying door closed. The next day we took leave and waited for the meachanic duly infoming the Agency. To our surprise he did not come on 29th June. Again I requested on 30th June and took leave on that day also and waited for the mechanic who has again not turned up on 30th also.

I am using Indane Gas for the past 25 years and I had neve got this kind of response from any of the Indane Distributors in the past. This is my 3rd Distributor. My consumer No.2947 with the distributor.

Considering the nature of the compalint, I request that serious action has to be taken against this Distributor.

Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and confirm.

Dear Sir

My Gas connection number is 8888 which is registered with Rohini Enterprises Durga Market Naharpur, Sector 7, Rohini, Delhi 110088. The code number is -63-01-0378.
I had booked an LPG gas cylinder about three weeks back but I have not received the cylinder till date that is 05-07-2010.
I am repeatedly trying to contact Rohini Enterprises but in vain. Nobody is picking up the phone. Even the hotmail is not being answered.
I have also informed the agency to deliver the cylinder after 2:30pm.
Hope appropriate action will be taken to improve the services of Rohini Enterprises which has been giving us a poor response whenever the gas cylinder is being booked by us.
Your immediate intervention is required in this matter.

Dear Sir
M/s Jind Gas Service is authorised franchisee to Indane Gas to Customers in Distt. Jind (Haryana).
However the franchisee is not committed to supply gas to consumers in suburbs like Julana and other nearby villages. Earlier the vendor had made arrangements for consumers in these areas by opening a local Customer Service Centre or by supplying cylinders on weekly basis.

But now in connivance to local black marketeers they have blocked the supply via valid channels leading to a lot of inconvinience to public. There is no shortage in market for gas cylinders but they are avaialable in Julana (Jind) ata whoping price of Rs 550 to 650 (depending on fact how close you are to black marketter) per cylinder inspite of the fact that lot of consumers are having valid gas conections. Cosumers can't take there cylinders to Jind as Civil administration laws prohibits them like they can't take cylinders in roadways or railways, can't carry cylinders behind motorbike etc.

I on behalf on Indane Consumers demand a local supply centre in Julana (Jind) for Indane by M/s Jind Gas Service) or the licence of the suppliers must be revoked for encouraging black marketing in the region.

Hoping for a prompt action by the concerned authorities.

Today i have approached the indane gas agency at hosur tn for getting new connection. They asked me to pay rs.3500/- for a single cylinder connection including all charges that is including stove cost. But i asked them without stove can u give me the connection, they said no and also the deposit is only rs. 950/ so i want to know the followings- from indane gas suppliers:

1. What is the deposit for single cylinder
2. Can we get connection without stove
(because we want to purchase new model from the market)
3. How to approach

This is to kindly draw your attention to my problem regarding delay in receiving gas cylinders.
I am a consumer of Indane Gas with my Consumer No. OM 09210 and my distributor is:
M/S Omkar Indane
Shop No.2, Rajdeep Apptt.,
Near Police Line, Sardarnagar,
Ahmedabad - 75 ( Code No. 185456 )
I want to state that we do not receive our gas within the committed period of 15 days. There is always a delay and whenever we try to contact our distributor we never get a positive response from them.
Also, as there is a monopoly of the distributor in our area, he tries to neglect us and does not respond to us even on proper follow up from our side.
Kindly draw your attention on our problem and please look into the matter on an urgent basis. Also, please reply if it is possible to change the distributor.

I applied for a new connection of INDANE gas Clyinder, i got the letter for that also but when i contact the gas agency they said that we have to buy chulla also with a connection but i have already have a chulla with me. I said the same to them so they said that they send a person for checking, but there's no visit till from that. I having lots of problem without gas and i also want to know that is ther any compultion for buying chulla with a new connection.

dear sir, ibooked my indane gas cylinder refilling booking from tomogas site web booking and my booking was accepted by tomogas on dated 21/07/2010, booking ref. no. 10. Sap Code [protected]. still yet as on date 22/08/2010. I donot get my refilling gas cylinder. my gas connection of indane with raghu gas service, khandsa road gurgaon. and my registration no is R- 23027. please help me about that because that dealer is normally delayed gas. please help

Hi ,

I am Mahesh Bhalaji. My usual cylinder supplier is Cauery Indane. The problem is the cylinder supplier is not supply in delivering correctly inspite of booking also.

Name of the supplier man is Sanjayram (Udayanagar Area near Tin Factory cum Fathima school ). It is heard that he is selling the cylinder in Black for higher amount to the hotels or fast foods. Due to this the consumer are getting delayed.

I have been sufferning this problem since the day i have taken Indane LPG connection, the dealer never receives the phone (landline, Mobile) which has been given on his communications documents. The deliver never happens in time and everytime i have to listen to his hard comments as "we can not say anything because there is no power and the computer is off".

The dealer also does not behave properly and does not respond to the calls.

Please help...

one month back i have shifted my house from lingampalli, Hyderabad to tolichowki. lingampalli distributor b.r. gas agency, i faced no problem, but after transferred to madhavi gas, one month later also i am unable to get a refill. after 15 days continuous follow up they simply cancelled my refill booking, by saying that there was a lock on the door, that's why we are unable to deliver. again i booked 6 days back, with continuous follow-up, they were telling daily we will deliver tomorrow. i don't know what to do now. my consumer no. is 108065 at madhavi gas agency.

any body pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help!

In the above case the petitioner begs to state as follows :-

1. That, I am one of the Indane Gas Consumer bearing Card no – B-10549, resided at – Bijaya Talkies Road, Po- Sundargarh, Dist- Sundargarh.

2. That, I have submitted the Gas Card before the Gas agency since 18.08.2010 but the gas supplier deliver gas Cylinder as on 17.09.2010( NEARLY ONE MONTH). We are suffering lot, which is speechless .
3. That, in this above situation, it is completely harassment attitude by the agency and delay of deficiency to the consumer .

4. That, several time I have made request before the dealer for issue another Gas Cylinder for my convenient but the agency holder always avoid me and repeatedly give same answer, quota not allotted, come next month.

5. That, the Gas agency did not issue any receipt against the Gas card deposited before the Gas Agency and simultaneously manipulate the date of booking and delivery made, as per the agency’s own choice .

6. That, the Gas agency did not maintained any register of record against the booking of cooking gas is suspicious.

7. That, the Gas agency should issue receipt against Gas Card deposited or issue a serial number of booking made by the consumer after enter the name and card number in a proper manner .

8. That, the Gas agency should display the daily stock position, rate and supply of refill Gas cylinder per day and booking serial number of the consumer.

I, Indra Shrivastava from Shivaji Nagar Ward, Sagar(M.P.) have indane gas consumer number:12482 at Sagar Gas Agency, shop no11812, Tilli Road Sagar, Ph.[protected].I have booked my gas cylinder on 1/11/2009 and I made complaint many times but still it have not been supplied till today. Respected Sir / Madam,
Sorry to say that we are very unhappy with delivery boy. We are so old customer getting very rude behavioral from a delivery boy. He does not have manner to speak with ladies. Neither he is doing his work sincerely. My mom told him to bring cylinder at 1st floor. Because we are ladies and cannot able to pull heavy gas cylinder till 1st floor. He totally say "No" for bring gas cylinder at 1st floor.

I have a problem with sridhar gas service/indane distributor whenever i try to book or check the delivary status.

The phone numbers BSNL Number 044-[protected] and 044-[protected] are always engaged or not in use or no response(the numbe is printed in the sridar gas agency bill for booking)

I have been facing the same problem every time, There is NO customer satisification in this sridhar gas service/indane distributor

I request Indane to have a look and help your customers to get a good service without fail & ungency basis...

I booked for cooking LPG on 17/6/2011 .My client no.is AB- 17909.Till now, after about 10ten days no trace of supply.Though it is seen ones getting the same in couple of days at most or other getting the gas on blacmarketing extra price of Rs.200/= or Rs.250/= anywhere.Gas Agencies earn by blackmailing a lot keeping genune consumers in distress.
I request Indian Oil Corporation to make urgent investigation in this matter and redress the woes of their genuine consumers.

Normally one cylinder will come for 3 months for me, but this time it came to for 20 days.
I see water noise when I shake the empty cylinder.I suspect it was filled with water for some portion.

I am I.Seetha with Consumer No.35300 registered with Maruthi Indane Gas Distirbutors, Chennai. I have booked for Gas supply on 11.09.2013 on line. The Gas agency has not supplied Gas till 4.50 P.M. today. I have made nearly 30 Phone Calls and made one personal visit on 1st October. Every time they say that my booking was cancelled, door locked, address not known and similar excuses. Please help me to get early suppoply of gas.

I am a consumer ( C. No. 15028) of Indane Gas Service with his delear M/S Vaisnavi Indane Service, Dhurwa, Ranchi-834004, (Jharkhand) Phone- [protected]. The service which is being provided by the delear is very worst. They never give the delivery in time without giving complaint to Area Manager (Tele. - [protected]). They also never give the Bill with delivery of LPG, he is charging the money Rs. 310/= per refill. The delear is such a daring that he ignore the instruction of Area Manager generally.
In This way we are facing lots of problem with the delear.

I am consumer of Idane Gas and I had booked gas on 22-04-2008 with Sahaj Enterrises, Govindpuri, Kalkaji, New Delhi (Gas Agnecy). Till date the refiled gas cylinder not delivered. Despite several telephone calls and various visits to their office, they have not supplied the cylinder as yet.

Each and every time when I visit or call to them, they told that cylinder will be deleivered day-after-tomorrow.

I request you to please do the necessary action against the Agency to stop the inconvenience to consumers.

Hi my self Ashish putting up in Nangloi delhi . I am INDANE customer . This is been happening for long time . Earlier they used to give maximum cylinders in black to shops and their village customers . When we used to reach there we had to stand in 80 to 100 people queue . And some times after spending 2 to 3 hours we could not get the cylinders . And we had to buy in black of almost double of cost . Now they have changed the system . Now they only give gas after 10 days of booking . And when you call them to book your gas the receptionist never pick up the phone . This is mentally harassment for poor people like us do something .

I have a gas connection with Indian Gas. My Consumer No.is 4909.
I booked for the Gas Cylinder on 26th May 2011 but till today on 18th June 2011 not deliver. My Booking No.5972.
I trying by phone, is always busy, if by luck I get line their representative, he says we have not any cylinder,
tomorrow must be delivered, therefore come after two days.They give delivery to who give black.
I am very sorry to say I am facing such type problems always from Ladnun Gas Service.
So, Please improve customer service and arrange to deliver gas cylinder as early as possible.

Hi,

This is Sudhendra Mohan from sector 82, Noida. My consumer number for Indane Gas connection is E013277 & the concerned gas agency is Mithala Gas Agency.

Yesterday dated 15th June '10 I received a gas cylinder refill which has heavy leakage & the leakage kept on increasing gradually. I keep on calling the emergency number +[protected] for help & replacement of the cylinder, but the guy responsible or on duty at that time kept on assuring that the damaged cylinder will be replaced yesterday night itself. But till now, no one popped up with some solution.

The scenario is going on worst & worst. I am not sure about the level of disaster in the near future because of this negligence from the gas agency.

This clearly shows the irresponsible nature of these guys which leads to public disaster.

I guess some serious action should be taken on such irresponsible agencies to avoid such unwanted & avoidable disasters in future.

I am harassed by the service provider of Indane GAS, since last 4 months . We have to spend 10-15 days without gas in spite of having two cylinders . Facing the following problems regularly :

I am living in Kanpur - Uttar Pradesh and your agent's agency name is - Chakeri Gas Service, 222, SADANAND MARG, AHIRVAAN, G.T.Road, Kanpur.

I am putting this complaint according to my booking of cyl. on 10/10/2009. My customer number is 4974 and booking number was 78 on that day.
Please look in matter and do needful for following:

1. Very much delay on GAS service . Took almost 20 - 25 days for Gas supply from the date of booking. After delivering one cylinder they normally take 30 days for booking of next cylinder.
2. The telephone line is always engaged & normally have to go physically for Gas booking / any other query.
3. The behavior & attitude of service provider is very very rude and they are challenging customers telling the customers to do whatever they want to do.
4. Making Cylinders non available to customers for 20-25 days duration after booking date and asking/forcing customers to buy cylinder in black @ 500.
5. Now a days marriage season is running so your valuable agent is supplying cylinder in black and its proven by many customer on them but they said you can do whatever you can. By this you and your agent making money but what about us, who is your permanent customer.

Is this the " Indane Gas " treats its customers? I have never faced such harassment from any supplier like this before. Additionally, would request for a stern action against this defaulter - Gas distribution agency.

Hi, I have booked refill gas cylinder on mar 1 07. And We have also already booked the extra cylinder on dec 5 2005. Finally that extra cylinder came on mar 3 07. And we have been promised that we will be getting the refill cylinder after 2 weeks. I waited for a month, since many told, as we got the new cylinder it may take a month for getting the refill. But even after that we dint get the refill. I am calling every week to the company, but their only response is... we will get today or tomorrow. And 3 weeks later i called the person who is responsible for supplying gas to my area, (the number given by the company). He said he is having the cylinder and told he will be delivering it within 2 days. But 2 weeks got over and i called again(on 23rd apr 07), he said i will be getting that day around 3 pm. But i dint get the cylinder yet. And i called the company again, but their response is not proper. They just said we will get it and he disconnected the call. And almost 44 days got over , we haven't got the refill. If the service of the company is like this, what will the consumers do? I have a doubt whether they would have got money from someone and would have sold our cylinder. Very poor service!
