Captain D's Correctness of meal

At 6:30 I ordered a children's grilled fish dinner with coleslaw and hush puppies at the drive thru. When I asked if there was a substitution charge for the hush puppies, she told me no.

There were only 2 cars in front of me, but it took 30 minutes before I got to the window. Then instead of opening the window, she started taking an order. When she was done, she repeated my order of chicken tenders, and I told her no, grilled fish. She then called to the cooks I wanted fish tenders and closed the window. I could not get her attention that I wanted GRILLED FISH, not fish tenders. When I finally got her attention at the window, I told her my order was for GRILLED FISH. SHE THE. TOLD METHAT WAS NOT ON THE CHILDREN's menu. I told her to look at the menu board...it was on there. She still insisted it wasn't. Finally she asked the cook and he verified it was. Then she had to correct the order again. All the while, cars are lined up behind me on a Friday night. The guy in back of me finally pulled out of line and left. Then she told me it was $5.99. I told her the children's meal is only $3.99. She again argued with me. I guess someone told her it was so she corrected the order and it was still $5 something. I told her no AGAIN, that it was $3.99 plus tax and then she told me there was an extra charge for the hush puppies! When I told her she initially told me there wasn't, but to just give me French fries. FINALLY the total was $4.44. She handed me my grandsons meal and went to close the window and I had to remind her to get the drink. I finally left at 7:17! No silverware and no game thing for him when I got it back home. When I checked my ticket, it wasn't even mine, but I was able to get her name. It is Breanna. This girl needs retraining or needs another job. Service is always slow at this location, but this whole ordeal was a nightmare.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday 8-17-2019, & I only had a $20.00 bill & a $1.00 bill. I bought $10.78 worth of food & I gave the girl a $20.00 bill. My money I rec'd back was $9.22. On Saturday August 10th 2019 I came thru the drive-thru at Captain D's on Eastway Drive Charlotte North Carolina.  While I was waiting for my order I was reading the signs on the windows and noticed that one of them said if we fail to give you your receipt, your meal is free, void if you leave and come back. Captain D's lack of tartar sauce.

For the second time in the last couple of weeks, we get home with our take out order and find there is no tartar sauce, even though I specifically asked for it and it is even on my receipt. Is there a tartar sauce shortage? We got tons of malt vinegar and ketchup, which I did not ask for. Please, can we just have some tartar sauce? Otherwise, the service was good as was the food.

Captain D's grill to cook grilled meals

I have been to Captain D's a number of times because I love Captain D's. It's has been about 2 months and every time I come the workers say that the grill is down. I went to there today and I asked how long will the grill be down and all she she was there has been no one to come out to fix it. I would like to know how long it takes for the grill to get fixed but I would love to know. I would like some feedback because i really want to get some grilled fish and shrimp from Captain D's soon!

She is nasty all in to people business nappy head and unprofessional she called me a junky and a crack head. Captain D's manager had her id turned around

The manager was really rude I asked her about my order she had put down extra Fry's on my order and I wanted her to take them off she had the nastiest attitude then she would not give me my regular receipt she gave me just a little piece of paper with my art with the order number on it I waited 30 minutes in line inside for my order first I went through the drive through the drive-through took so long I went inside thinking that would even be better but it wasn't I wish I would not have even went to Captain D's McDonald's is right across the street I should have went to McDonald's I will never go back to that Captain D's again the manager there is the nastiest manager the date that I went 7-29-2019 that's the receipt that she gave me I asked her for my regular receipt she would not give it to me and she gave me this receipt I have never been to a restaurant in a manager act that rude

Captain D's food/service

I was on my way out of town to work and decided to stop and grab food for everyone I had ordered a 10 piece fish family meal and a order of funnel cake sticks. The funnel cake sticks were burnt and instead of getting all fish I had got all chicken it was already to late to phone in since I had come right before the store closed at that time I was out of town so I decided I would contact when I came back upon coming back to town Tanya the manager was rude and refused to help me in any form I have worked in food half my life and I know for a fact that's not how customer service is ecspecialy when I have my receipt as well still I hope to hear news back from u all

Captain D's timeliness of service, quality of food.

We have been regular in-house diners at Captain D's #3748 in Tucker, GA. The timeliness of service has been deteriorating for the past few months. On Saturday, 13 July, 2019, we waited for our food for more than 30 minutes. And there were but a few diners when we ordered. The ice machine over the beverage dispenser was tagged "Out of order." The baked potato was neither hot nor fully baked. Though we ordered our meals for dining 'in-house, ' our food was delivered in styrofoam containers without plates. We had not previously seen either of the servers behind the counter. We are inclined to drive a few extra miles to Long John Silvers in the future.

Ordered 2 white fish and shrimp skewers, through the drive thru. One dinner for my 82 year old father who is autoimmune deficient due to stage 4 cancer and the fish was completely raw! Contacted the general manager to complain. Felt my complaint was not satisfied. I drove 10 miles there 10 miles back to our family business to have food inedible. This is unacceptable and your feed back would be greatly appreciated!

on sunday june 30.2019 we went to captains ds for lunch .i pay for my meals with a gift card. it was $10.00 on the gift card .and my total was$11.05 . so i gave the cashier the card . and 20.05 to get the 1.05 out she took the whole $11.00out my 20.00.and didnot tell me until i was seated then i look at my change .i went back to the counter think ing she had gave me the wrong chang. she going to tell me that she payed for it with my 20.00. she was to only get a$1.00 out my 20.00 she can not take split payment on this end.why she did not tell me before i pay her.she know that was not right.i do not know if my money is back on my card. my order #0074 her name destint captain ds 205811 my name is Loran Meeks 108 mitchell st itta bena ms38941 [protected] home phone cell phone [protected] thank you

Captain D's restaurant...

I went to Captain Ds like I do every so often & when I placed my order I was Not asked if I wanted to add any Shrimp skewers to my order. I pulled up to the window & there was a sign on the window which Said: If we dont offer to add on some shrimp skewers; Which he did NOT, that what I ordered was FREE ! so I asked the two boys that were at the window that i Was Not asked about adding on shrimp skewers & they just Blew It Off & gave me the total of my order ! I thought it was going to be Free because they did NOT ask me about the shrimp skewers but I was Charged the Whole total of 10.63 which I paid & didnt know why I had to !

Captain D's good was terrible... athens tennessee drive thru

I ordered 20 piece shrimp
4 extra Hush puppies
Corn on the cob
Large sweet tea
2 extra pc fish
The shrimp was cold and no flavor ...pups were good...Corn was mush in a stick...Yea was not sweet at all... the fish was watery like it was not done!Telling you...I've ate there 1000s of times and no complaints since I live in Athens...I got home ready to eat and was not pleased AT ALL!

Captain D's Corn on cob

Just returned from my second trip to Captain Ds in Charleston WV on Kanawha Blvd. Monday June 172019. First trip ordered three dinner, one with corn on the cob. Returned home to eat when my husband pulled his corn out, it was a dark brown color and swiveled up like it had been sitting there for 2..3 weeks. It was discussing looking. So after we ate the rest of are meal. I took it back and asked if the would eat that. Reply was no..I'm sorry. I will get you another. They also forgot my crums. No offer of a refund after I had to drive back and forth twice. Which would have compensated some on my gas and time. The corn was not just slightly old ..it was very old. I wish I had taken a picture of it. Theresa Tribble [protected].

Why should you get a refund. They replaced the corn, you ate the rest of your food. You are not entitled to a refund. Visit a soup kitchen if you cannot afford to feed yourself.
