This model WFC682CLWO broke within 30 days of purchasing. The bottom drawer track, rails, hose retaining clamp fell apart while cleaning the filter. The appliance was repairs under warranty. The repairmen told me that every one that has this appliance is unhappy with it. When you remove the filter to clean it first you must drain excess water via a tiny hose, despite best efforts water gushes out onto the floor ruining it. The filter needs to be cleaned atleast weekly not monthly per Whirlpool instructions. Whirlpool should stop producing this appliance. This appliance should be recalled! Do not buy!
Claimed loss: $1600.
Desired outcome: Refund and remove from my home. It is ruining my floor.

To clarify: Thus is a poorly engineered appliance as stated by Platinum Factory Repair. They suggested using a shop vac to remove the gushing water when cleaning the filter. Reinforcing do not buy this appliance.
In addition to the above: if this unit is on the 2nd or 3rd floor and not in the basement if will ruins floors and ceilings by excessive flooding of water when clean the filter. I apologize for not including this in the above.
