crappy appliances
We bought our appliances brand new from a local reputable dealer. 2 years and of course after the warranty has expired, two of my appliance, the refrigerator and the dishwasher are starting to rust! I was left on hold for over 50 minutes for them to tell me it would cost me $169. to have a service person come out and assess, then any repairs or replacement would be on me! So not only do we have to pay a service tech, we also would have to pay to have doors, etc., replaced! Appliance only last 2 years now? Just long enough for the warranty to expire! Got it! I am so angry! I will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again. The person on the phone was not helpful and also a little rude! Thanks for nothing.

whirlpool refrigerator
frig went out on nov 20. Called whirlpool and they scheduled a repair man the next day with BPH in Cumberland Md . When bph did not show I called them they said whirlpool had nothing to do with their schedule and that they could not be our for 10 days. Came a day after one promised and said the mother board was bad and they would get one right away. After two weeks I tried to call them but they would not answer. I called whirlpool parts on Dec 22 and ordered the part myself. Told the part was on backorder but we would have it by Jan 3. Called today and was told it would be Jan 29 but that was just a guess. It took 30 minutes to get through. When i complained they switched me to customer service. On hold for 45 minutes. when i explained the problem. I was switched back to parts. another 40 minutes only to be told that I had the water filter department. 45 minutes now and still on hold.

Frustrated beyond belief by Whirlpools lack of service or even caring. One guy never even put in my service request. Frig isn't even a year old. Out if service area. Chat people don't respond when chatting. Worst service ever. They can come get this frig and we'll buy another brand not associated with them.

I purchased this cooktop about 12 years ago as soon as it was installed had to have service tech come to my home 5 or 6 times as when I would try to cook the cooktop would cut off for no reason finally after the last visit the cause was cooktop was not getting enough air due to the oven a whripool gold which was a match for the cooktop when place over the oven. Well it wasn't a match like I was told by whripool and the service tech, the oven had to be modified to make the cooktop function right which isn't the way to have to do something that it was supposed to work. Since I've owned the cooktop I've had to replace the glass 4 times including the order I just placed today I've spent enough in glass to purchase a new cooktop spent another 352.00 for another glass today I sure hope it's something you can do to compensate me for some of the glass the cooktop works great when it works but when it don't it's no good. I know it's been a lot of years since I purchased the cooktop I'm not a person to complain or nothing like that but 4 glasses in the amount of time I've owned it is a lot I would appreciate whatever you can do for me I hope you understand the frustration I have with this issue.Thank You Timothy Moore

delivery of appliances
I had placed order for 3 whirlpool appliances on 11/21/2017 (Order # [protected]). Initial delivery date i got for this order was 12/11/2017. Based on this date i schedule my moving date to my new home on 12/10/2017. To my surprise, Whirlpool rescheduled my order delivery (on friday evening 12/08) to 12/18/2017. On 12/15 then postponed that date to 12/20, then postponed that date to 12/27 & now again postponed it to 01/03/2018. Now i am living in my new home without these appliance for almost 2 weeks & still will have to manage another 2 weeks (that too if they deliver appliances on 01/03). Now i am loosing my patience. I know that delivery of the product is based on availability, but there has to be a time limit for this. Products cant be unavailable for infinite time and if Whilpool knows that they cant deliver that product for next 1 month (due to holidays etc) then they should not make those products available for ordering. Now i am stuck with this order as i lost all others deals on the products available during holidays.
Customer agent give me "dont care" attitude when i called them. They said i signed agreement that delivery is base on availability & they cant do anything about it. One agent said that, you can cancel your order. is this how Whirlpool treat their customers?
I hope Whirlpool will resolve this issue & deliver my appliances ASAP.

defective kitchenaid products
We purchased all new kitchenaid products when our kitchen was remodeled at a cost of $8, 000 in 2014. The refrigerator experienced a problem during the first month and had to be repaired. The glass on the cooktop had to be replaced in three months because there was a manufacturing defect. Now the circuit board in our microwave failed . We just had to purchase a new microwave at a cost of $540. Whirlpool said they don't provide repair parts because microwaves are consider throwaways after the first year . Whirlpool's customer services hung up 3 times when they gave us a scheduled call back. They referred us to the parts department and they only stock the glass tray inside the microwave. There is a standard 1 year warranty on their products. KitchenAid was considered a high end product in the past and they charged for their products accordingly. Now they are still charging premium prices and the products have obviously gone downhill. They should inform customers that their microwaves can not be repaired. Potential customers should consider these issues before making a purchase.

Been having a rough time with whirlpool products. First with a stove a while back now a refrigerator. Doors don't line up right since day one. Ice maker leaks and have to chisel out blocks of ice every couple days. Had repair man come out under warranty said was fine but never was. Kinda gave up but its not ok. Just 3 people use this fridge no children and we take care of are stuff. Just over a year old this is what 1, 000+ dollars buys you these days. Unacceptable...
just imagine how much one individual spends in appliances in a lifetime. Do any of these companies care keep a loyal customer. All I want is a technician to come fix this fridge properly. Or help purchasing my next frigerator for being flustrated and given a bad product that I got the runaround to make sure that I was out of warranty to be told that there is nothing that can be done for me.
I did I contacted Whirlpool had them send out a technician that gave me the run-around they refuse to replace the refrigerator that was having issues since the day I purchase it. I purchase it from Lowe's Lowe's just tells you to call Whirlpool Whirlpool tells you to call Lowe's Exedra. And as time goes by the refrigerator continues to have more problems I'm almost at the point of replacing it even though it's not that old and never purchasing a Whirlpool product again in my life. But then again I guess getting treated like this is quote on quote industry standard. If I pay $1, 000 for a fridge they can't even last 2 years and I have to be told to buy an additional warranty sometimes up to over $600 and half of these warranties don't even do anything they send a technician out and they report back that it's not worth replacing or whatever. Like I said I contacted them they sent someone out and got nothing out of it and it was under warranty it isn't now. When the technician came to the house she adjusted the door so it would line up and close right completely ignored the ice maker leaking and building ice underneath. And when he releveled the door it only lasted maybe a few days before It was crooked again and rubbing against each other. My feeling it was lemon since day one company ignored me until the warranty was out and the person they sent out to fix it never did. So now I just have a broken refrigerator and told to just deal with it or spend more money.

I appreciate hearing you concerns.
As you've pointed out, this refrigerator was actually purchased in 2015 and is actually over two years old.
Your issue with the doors in an easy one to fix. just crack open the owner's manual for a step by step procedure. When the refrigerator is placed, it is possible that the floor is not exactly even. In such a case, all fridges allow for the doors to be adjusted so they line up correctly. This should also help with the closing issue you've listed but, again based upon your flooring, you may find that you'll want to slightly tilt the fridge back to make the door shut automatically. If this is the case, I'd suggest adjusting the front feet up farther than the back. Finally is your issue with the ice. I wish I could comment better on this, but without being there, I couldn't begin to.
Whirlpool does supply the consumer a one year-limited warranty on their fridge. This is common throughout the industry. Whirlpool does offer additional warranty coverage, at a price, along with most retailers which offer their products. If there is any question as to what you purchased, when it was purchased, it's recommended that you contract the retailer you purchased through. They generally can help supply additional service (centers) is such circumstances.

Didn't realize whirlpool made such junk, didn't think I had to look at reviews before buying a Michigan made product but I was clearly wrong!
Cabrio top load washer just out of warranty and bearing already went out. After reading several review on several different boards it looks like my best bet is to take the set to the junk yard and cut my losses. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED AND YOU SHOULD AS WELL FOR DEFRADING THE CONSUMERS OUT OF THE HARD EARNED MONEY!

Hopefully I can help. I'm actively involved with the appliance industry and can positively state that Cabrio washers are decent units. There are a huge number of them out there and many more being sold every day. Unfortunately, there's always a percentage of any product that fails prematurely. Many retailers, however have extended service programs which can help you tremendously. I'd recommend contacting them and see what they can do. Even if the repair is beyond cost effective, many programs will replace the unit with brand new!

duet washer (wfw87hedw) and dryer (wfw87hedw1)
After reading consumer reports, we purchased a Whirpool Duet washer and dryer from the Sears outlet 6/17. We also purchased an extended warranty on the items. On three separate occasions, we have gotten multiple error codes on the washer (E01 and F03) with the alarm setting continuously beeping and are unable to open the door until the service tech arrives (4-5 days out). The issue on going and is still not resolved (again, this is the 3rd time). The dryer only works on one setting. Customer service is unhelpful and will only place a service call (they are not forth coming with serial numbers and service call history even though they have the information in the customer file). When we asked how to open the washer door, so that the clothes don't mildew, we were told to turn off the breakers. They will not replace the units, even though they are clearly defective, and despite multiple requests to do so. Do not buy these products! They are a waste of time and money. Customer service will send a tech out but you will pay and the issue will not be resolved. Consumer Reports should review their stance on this company.

I'm heavily involved within the industry and can positively state the Whirlpool Duet line is one of the better washers and dryers on the market. I especially like the 87 series although you, admittedly, seem to be having a fair amount of problems with them.
If you only made the purchase in June of 2017, they should still be under warranty and nothing should be charged to fix the issues you're speaking of. If like to know if this is not the case.
slide in gas range
I recently purchased your gas range sliding RONA and I need the slide in range trim kit RONA sent me to Home Depot because it would take seven weeks to come in so it ends up costing me $163.85 plus tax. Now they're charging me $50 to deliver a piece of trim that should've been there with the range. Overall bad experience. I've cancelled buying the fridge and dish washer . At this point I'm gonna go with a different make for the rest of my remodelling.

This is the third time I've had to call two previous service calls that I had to wait forever for a technician.still waiting to speak to someone after 45min on hold. Purchased whirlpool refrigerator model WRF757SDEMO1 one year and one month ago. We are a retired couple with no one else living in our home, no small children to damage anything, yet our refrigerator has what appears to be rust spots bleeding through the doors, both top and bottom. I purchased the cleaner wipes and the spray and have used them according to the individual package instructions. Yet the stains remain. We purchased the refrigerator from our local Best Buy who will not service it unless an extended warranty was purchased from them. How convenient! I have been on hold for over an hour waiting for a representative from whirlpool to answer and finally decided they have outlasted me.
Never accused "Shaun" of representing Whirlpool. Still believe his theory to be absurd. On a better note, my husband spoke directly with a Whirlpool rep who he said was very nice and is sending a cream for us to try, at no cost to us. We are waiting for this product and hope it will solve the problem
I find it absurd that whirlpool relies on consumers being coerced into purchasing extended warranties to protect themselves for something that should be corrected by their quality control division before the appliance ever goes on the market. As to your ridiculous theory of humidity, I am using the products recommended in the whirlpool manual! A better question would be why whirlpool doesn't have a better customer service department to address concerns before a complaint goes to someone like you. To refresh your memory, I waited on hold for over 45 minutes !

Many manufacturers only provide a one year limited warranty with their merchandise. It's unfortunate, but many consumers don't believe in concerning themselves with warranty coverage until after the fact, so it's the easiest thing for the manufacturer to cut in order to price the merchandise more competitively.
It's possible that, combined with high humidity, the wipes you are using are causing the problem.
maytag washer
Bought in July. This thing is HORRIBLE. I find dirt in the bottom of the washer drum. It goes off balance constantly no matter how hard I try to balance each load. Other cycles happen than what I set it for. SO frustrating. Also, after washing, MUCH water remains in the fabrics and my dryer runs and runs and runs to try to dry them. I am a cancer patient and I REALLY NEED clean clothes.
In the photos you can see it is set on DRAIN & SPIN. WATER is flowing in! I use DRAIN & SPIN after each wash load trying to get water out of the fabrics because so much remains that my dryer runs 2 hours to get my clothing dry.
I am so upset about this. I will help pay the difference for a better washer.
In July, I went to Home Depot for a front loader like what I had. They said they were way overpriced and that this washer is MUCH better. It is NOT. I cannot stand it. All the people at church and in groups I am in cannot believe the bad situation I am in with this that Maytag - Whirlpool made such a bad product and will not help me. I am trying to get a better service company to look at it but continue to be on hold at Whirlpool-Maytag for 43 minutes. This is Tuesday and I am told it is a better time to call than Monday.

I purchased Whirlpool top loading washing machine in April 2014. My washing machine stopped working in Nov 15 and got replaced free of cost as was in warranty period.
Again PCB stopped working in 25sep2017 got replaced and paid amount was 3400rs.
I am facing some weird humming noise in wash cycle. It has been only three and half year of purchase . Highly dissatisfied and disappointed of quality of Whirlpool.

I purchased several Whirlpool appliances during a Kitchen remodel. One was a whirlpool over the range microwave. I've had it for less than two years. For the last couple weeks the microwave had continued to run while the door was opened. It stopped working on Thanksgiving Day while the guests were waiting for the last few things to be heated. I just recently had my Whirlpool Duet Dryer stop working. Whirlpool used to be an appliance you could count on. It seems this is no longer holds true. There is no recourse. I will no longer purchase Whirlpool products.

I've owned several Whirlpool appliances and have been very happy with them. In fact, I'm quite heavily involved with the appliance industry and don't hesitate to recommend Whirlpool. It's a misnomer that good products won't break; they do. Unfortunately most products only come with a one year limited warranty, however retailers usually offer some extended warranty benefits.
Who was the retailer and have you contacted them to see what they can do? You'd be surprised as to what steps many retailers can take to help you with such problems.

cabrio front loading washing machine
I purchased this washer just under one year, and I've been extremely dissatisfied with it since. Dark clothes come out streaked and patchy. I've called repair man twice, and it has not been fixed. It also makes a strange noise during the rinse cycle suggesting that there's something wrong with the rinse process. The response from Whirlpool has been deplorable. They do not stand behind their machines, they "can't fix it", and seem to don't really care that this machine has been a disappointment from day 1. I would strongly, strongly recommend that you do not buy a Whirlpool. I don't want to be burdened with a bad product with the next several years. My clothes do not get clean even after going through the cleaning cycles five times as suggested by the company. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Cabrio washers are not front loaders; they are top loading, high efficient. Whirlpool's line of front loading washers are referred to by the name Duet.
If you could clarify what you have, including the actual model number, I'd bet we can get your troubles resolved.

I bought this washer on August 14th, 2017 from Goedekers, (order No. 1233275) . It was installed on October 6th, 2017 and paid $613.21.
I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed with the way it washes. My whites are no longer white. Stains do not come out of the clothes. The sheets get tangled inside the drum causing it to stop, untangle the clothes and let it resume the cycle. I love white sheets. That is all we use in the master bedroom and they are now a dirty white. It makes a terrible noise.
We recently moved to North Carolina and have asked my neighbors if they have the same issue with their clothes here. Their answer is no. One expects better quality from the name Whirlpool and this machine provides absolutely no quality. In Miami, where we previously lived, we had a Samsung Washer which performed better than my current Whirlpool Washer. If Whirlpool is a company that concerns itself with Customer Satisfaction and Quality Product, I expect for something to be done.

To begin with, the issues you're speaking of are not typical of Whirlpool Cabrio units. Normally, if used properly, these units can produce decent results. Whirlpool utilizes a quality dealership network to support what is sold. One of the easiest forms of service is just contacting the retailer you purchased the unit through. Most have forms of satisfaction guarantees that can kick in. They can have a service technician look at the washer to make sure it is working as it should. They can even exchange the unit for you.
Once you've contacted them, I'd be interested in hearing what takes place. Please let us know.

Good day. A technician contacted me on 30/10/2017, saying he can see me now. I was at work and not available. I have no maid or person at home during normal working hours. My husband was on leave 20 /11/2017. Appointment was for 13:00 technician now show. Whirlpool supervisor assist with phone call to technician, which I could also do (his nr [protected]) . I have call log nr # 14629, fault with my oven clock This has been a problem for more than a year now, would like to have it fixed. Please confirm a way forward as I am only at home again during office hours on the 18+ 19 December 2017. And due to resent avents I can not book a reliable technician for then.

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from HHGregg in September 2016. About 6 months after the purchase it stopped working. It wouldn't make ice not cool the unit. We had a repair tech come out and he said the issue was a bad design flaw in where they placed the thermostat. The fix was to move the thermostat and zip tie in in a different location. It is now November 2017 (about 6 months later) and the refrigerator is not working again. It is not makin ice not cooling the unit. We called repair again in 11/16/17 but as of today 11/20/17 we have not heard from anyone. Thanksgiving is Thursday and I have no refrigerator! I called whirlpool to complain and the service representative and supervisor were not helpful at all. The supervisor told me they could provide me with a new refrigerator at a cost to me. I don't think I should have to pay for a new refrigerator. This is a design flaw with whirlpool and should be replaced at not charge. I've only had this refrigerator for 1 year and 2 months and this is the second time it's quit working. I will NEVER purchase another whirlpool product and will make sure all my friends and family know to not purchase whirlpool! #whirlpoolsucks

So Whirlpool contacted me in regard to my complaint. Once again they just want to pass the blame. They said they couldn’t help because I have an extended warranty. I told them that shouldn’t matter. This refrigerator is defective and they should stand behind their product and do the right thing but was told again they could replace my refrigerator but it’s going to “cost” me. Again, I think they should stand behind their product and make it right. This refrigerator is only 1 year and 2 months old. Had I not had the extended warranty they still wouldn’t have made it right. They probably would have charged me for the repair. Customer service means nothing to these big corporations anymore. All they care about is money. I will NEVER buy another Whirlpool appliance! #whirlpoolsucks

An additional warranty was purchased through HHGregg. I spoke to the warranty department on 11/20/17 and was told someone would call by the end of the business day and no one called.

It is true that appliances don't last as long as they use to. Our parents and grandparents had appliances that would last multiple decades. Not anymore. You're going to attempt to get a good ten (10) years from most appliances now; although there are exceptions. The brand, for the most part, is non-consequential. Whirlpool makes some good appliances and they also make some rather cheap, 'builders market' products that don't hold up anywhere near as well. Sometimes the issue can be the environment they are in, other times it's just the luck of the draw.
How about supplying some additional needed information? What is the retailer you purchased the units through? What are the exact models of the items you're experiencing problems with? What is the exact problems you are having (supply pictures if you'd like)? Did you purchase any additional service programs/warranties/guarantees through the retailer?
