Wendy’s review: Raw burgers
Ordered 2 Dave's #1 value meals: Single burger, fries, coke. Started eating sandwich when I realized the meat was totally pink, only the outer "skin" was seared; basically ate raw meat. As we pulled up to drive thru, ordered, then drove to pay at first window, everything was normal. Then a woman at the 2nd window held up her arm and waved at us to "stop"! I asked the 1st window what was going on, she responded that the whole crew was told to go home at 2pm, leaving only herself and the other employee to take care of the drive thru and front counter! Wow, all my years at drive thrus (1000's of times), have never experienced anything like this. There were also 2 cars pulled over ahead of us and 6 more vehicles lined up behind and honking their horns. Finally a new employee showed up and handed us our drinks, 1 was full, the other about half and I had to ask him to fill it up, he did. Then he didn't hand us our remaining portions of our value meals and I asked where those were. I felt bad for the crew and should have checked my food prior to consuming; fries were hot and my coke was fine. Only the Dave's single was totally unacceptable. We discarded our burgers and drove off still hungry. Decided never to go to this Wendy's again. The address is Wendy's Restaurant #14402010; 900 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida; phone 386-265-4155. Make sure they have a full crew working before you go to this Wendy's as they have serious employee problems in addition to no management on site or anyone else for that matter. No way to run a fast-food business!
