Walmart review: Customer Service

Recently I visited the Walmart in Marysville, Oh (2/23/2024). I visit this Walmart often because I manage a local hotel. On this occasion, your staff choose to treat me like a criminal.

You force customers to use the self-checkout, then treat us like criminals. Two of your associates stop me, then checked my receipt and checked every single item in my cart. One by one they transferred every item to a separate cart detaining me for 20 minutes. This was the very embarrassing as other customers were able to exit without any checks and I was treated as a criminal. Of course, once completed, they found that all items were listed on my receipt. Your associated were very rude and disappointed when they realized that all items had been paid for. A small apology would have been nice.

Rest assured, I will not be back to this or any other Walmart. As a local businessman in the service industry, I was appalled by the way I was treated.

There are plenty of options available for my local needed.
