Walgreens refund policy

My husband went into to our local Walgreens to purchase 2 Visa gift cards to give our grandchildren for their birthday. He picked up 2 gift cards and went to the register and placed $50.00 on each card. As the cashier was finalizing his purchase, my husband wanted to confirm that the cards could be used anywhere. The cashier tells him NO, that these gift cards are for Walgreens ONLY. Well, our 6 year old grandchildren don't have much need for Walgreens gift cards, so he asked if he could cancel those cards and have the $100 he JUST SPENT placed on Visa gift cards (which is what he thought he was purchasing) and the cashier tells him NO. So, he spends ANOTHER HUNDRED DOLLARS to get the Visa cards. Yes, I realize that he made a mistake by accidentally picking up the wrong cards, but it is RIDICULOUS that he could not cancel gift cards that he just paid for and have his $100 applied to the cards he came in to purchase. Walgreens may have profited by his mistake today, but once we use up these Walgreens cards he accidentally purchased, I promise that Walgreens will NEVER receive another cent from us. I hope refusing to help him out with his mistake today was worth it to you Walgreens! My husband is a business man himself and thank goodness does not treat his own customers this way.

Walgreens pharmacy access to website

I have been using Walgreen's pharmacy for many years with no problems until approximately 5 weeks ago when I suddenly lost pharmacy access to my account. I tried for two weeks to reestablish access using authorization codes sent to my computer and telephone numbers without success.
3 weeks ago I telephoned customer service, spent over 2 hours on the phone with 4 different representatives and was unable to reestablish pharmacy services on my account. The only thing I got was a commitment from them to initiate a ticket for someone else to look into my problem.
This morning, after again trying to reestablish pharmacy services with new authorization codes sent to my computer without success, I again telephoned costumer service.
After waiting over an hour for my call to be answered, I spoke with 2 different representatives in customer service for about 45 minutes and was unable to reestablish pharmacy services on my account. Again, only thing I received was another commitment that a ticket would be initiated and someone would contact me within 72 hours. NO RECORD WAS LOCATED ON THE FIRST TICKET ALLEGEDLY WRITTEN .
I need to renew my Medicare Part-D, and if this problem cannot be fixed quickly, I need to research a plan which uses another pharmacy for primary coverage.

Walgreens pharmacy

I had a prescription sent in by my doctor wed 10/30, a full five days in advance so there would be no issues of availability by 11/4 when I would be in need of the medication having run out the night before. I was emailed it would be ready 11/4. I was not emailed or informed any other way that it was not going to be available for another 2 days. I found this out at 6pm, way to late to reach my doctor to have him send it to another pharmacy, when I went in expecting to pick up my prescription. No sorries were given, no explanation other than "I dont know what happened"... This is inexcusable. Then this pharmacist gives me an attitude that she told me I could have had my doctor send another script in to a different store, again it is 6pm, so what doctor does she know that will take this call and get another script faxed in at that hour? I have tried to give this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt, but that is it. They dont deserve any business whatsoever from me or anyone else for that matter.

Walgreens pharmacy

it is very frustrating in pharmacy the policy requires having to enter phone number i need to just be able to give my name and date of birth and not have to go through recitation of address and phone each time i am registered in their system with store card that should be enough this is time consuming and causes the line to grow and it also means other people in ear shot hear your address amd phone which is intrusive and lack of privacy
not happy with this set up
it ran much smoother when it was rite aid before waldgreens took over i do not blame staff i blame your policy set up just let me recite date of birth or swipe store card stop the lengthy intrusive time consuming interrogation i am regular customer they know me for years it was much better as rite aid

Walgreens employees

I have lived in the area for about 3 years and I no alot of ppl in this area do to being a business owner myself. I am in Walgreen daily and for pass 4 moths we all been noticeing the disrespect from the employees latly
As the other day the cashier's were telling customers thay have no bags but waited time thay paid for there items before telling them I was in line and there were older women in front of me around the age in there 60s and after paying for there items the cashier said thay have no bags and the women said that's fine can I use the carriage to bring the things to my car the cashier was rude and said ya if you can but only if you return the carriage in the store but said it very rudely I notice the employees latly have attudes with all the customers lately even the managers disrespect the customers all the employees don't smile thay all look like there pissed at the world we are all getting together soon to file complaints with the state of r.i. and we all intend to stop shopping there we are all customers a.nd area residents of the store and een shopping there faithfully every day but now with the employees of this store we will not be shopping there anymore

Walgreens pharmacy services

Whenever I talk with the pharmacy department I get such an attitude. Today 11/3 a order for antibiotics was called in from a urgent care. I kept checking online status but after 5 hours nothing, so I called. Someone told me that they were still working on yesterday's orders.
I was told that I needed to have at least 2 doses before a urgent dr appointment tomorrow 11/4. This is unacceptable response time, I will be changing my location of business.
Walgreens does NOT have my best interest in mind!

Walgreens no sale items at store

I recently received a sales flier for Walgreens. I drove to my local Walgreens to buy the Charmin toilet paper on sale and there was none on the shelf. I also did not find it on any displays. I asked the manager Mike Sullivan where it was and he said they didn't carry it.
Is this normal. Do you really offer sale items only at specific locations? On this day I had a coupon for $9 off if I spent $30. I had to put all my stuff back and go to another store.

Walgreens gabapentin

How is it they can refill my prescription my insurance is paying for it because there was no delay it was filled you were reviewing the script an then decide to take it back? [censored] that they have no right an that's why my scripts are being transferred to Walmart right this second I am done with the mind games I have been dealing with these idiots long enough to know when there is no delay your filling my script an there is $3 cost on there that I can get my refill so stop playing mind games with people before everyone stops shopping there because sooner or later they are going to get fed up with your [censored] an you will not have any customers left you sick Satanistic [censored] bye bye [censored]es you just lost another customer

Walgreens pharmacy

I waited 30 minutes for 2 Prescriptions. I was told that they were counting out the Pregabalin pills, the problem with that is the bottle of pregablin is factory sealed.

The morphine was filled on 10/24, which means that it all should ready when I arrived. NOT!

Whats going on with this Pharmacy? I do not appreciate being fibbed to, my time is worth money too.

Walgreens coca cola

Hello, I purchased a case of coca cola yesterday morning and once I got home I notice there was an empty can in the box however the can was not open as tou would normally do to drink it. It does have a hole on bottom of can which inmediately made me check the box itself it appears to have been tampered with or punctured some how. I threw out the whole case being that at this point I thought it was tampered with did not feel safe. I spoke with a manager of this location and she stated thats she has complained to drivers of the way they deliver their shipment but nothing has been done to by the company that delivers to correct the issue. Thank you for listening to my concern on this matter.

Walgreens pick-up western union funds without an id

On Friday night, October 25, 2019

I went to walgreens to do a pick-up funds from western union. I submitted all my information and the transaction went through. I then went to an employee to help me, when the employee ( who btw- said he was the mgr. named sami/semi?) asked for my license, i gave it to him, he studied it and then said, ma'am, your license is expired. I said "i know" but the person who sent me the money used a test question which i have the answer to and according to western union FAQ, as long as i have that question, the clerk can give me the money and check the "pay without ID" box. He still refused to give me the money. I was irate, to say the least and informed him that I would be back tomorrow to speak with someone else. I do understand he was only doing his job and he was a new mgr at this store and he didn't recognize me as a frequent customer at this store because he's new (which is why I said I would be back tomorrow). I am not trying to make things difficult, only to get my point across that as long as I had that "test question" it was ok for him to give me the money.

Walgreens pharmacy

This Walgreens is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are consistently horrible. From not filling things on time, hanging up on calls, and just flat out being rude. The end of the line was today. I dropped off prescriptions that I desperately needed to treat my Bronchitis. After being told I could not wait for them, I planned to return to pick them up. Go to pick them up, only to find out that they were out of stock and not filled and were sent to a Walgreens 30 mins away THAT STILL DIDNT HAVE THEM. I was not notified that they were putting stock. I was not taken care of. The technicians are consistently rude and do not care about the customers. To top it all off, I actually worked in a Walgreens pharmacy for two years. TWO YEARS. So I know full well when I am being lied to about the capabilities of the pharmacy. I have never ever been treated this horribly so consistently. Needless to say I will be leaving this company's services in favor of the better, well-mannered, HELPFUL CVS.

Walgreens the managers treatment

I witnessed a manager by the name of raydonna scream at a lady because she thought she was stealing the lady showed her the inside of her purse because she grabbed at. It when she saw there were no items she then told the girl she could no longer come in the store but before she saw the inside of her purse she said very loudly to everyone in line at the store that the girl was a theif if she truly stole that's one thing but she didn't have anything she caused a scene embarrassed the girl with out any proof and when she had nothing she didn't apologize she didn't say anything but she couldn't come to the store anymore why if she didn't have any items in her purse and she didn't physically see her steal anything and before I witnessed this happen maybe a month earlier I witnessed miss raydonna put a 100$ bill under a stack of papers and after she finished with the line she grabbed the stack of papers and headed to the back of the store I was looking at these Colorado leggings that were on display by the second cash register when she did this I acted like I wasn't paying attention but I was and I'm tall so I could see her do this after she grabbed the stack I grabbed my leggings and followed behind her to be nosey I guess I wanted to give her to benefit of the doubt but she herself is a theif and I witnessed it she stuck the 100$ bill in her pants as she opened the door to the back or her office I'm guessing she looked at me and I turned my head so she didn't think I saw anything but I did I wasn't going to report what I saw but after she embarrassed this young lady because she thought she was stealing I just had to come fourth and let yous know she is stealing as well and if she wants to treat ppl like [censored] for stealing well then she should be too if you have any questions please feel free to contact me my name is Laura Johnson I'm a 37 year old women and I shop here at this location alot she's always very rude I know she hasn't been there very long like I said I shop here often and just started seeing her recently she's even made me feel uncomfortable shopping there it's one thing to ask if I need help but to follow me through the store hoovering over me like I'm just gonna steal if she walks away is bs I loved this store but if I have to deal with that Everytime I'll go to right aid

Walgreens drive-thru pharmacy

On 10/21/19 approx. 5:10pm, the drive-thru pharmacist created a horrible experience for me with a prescription drop-off. I placed two eight & a half by eleven inch paper scripts in the drawer, but scripts were toward the front of the door... The pharmacist did not like the placement... So instead of reaching inside the drawer, she decided to push the drawer back out causing one of the scripts to jar loose and fly in the air and land underneath my car in a puddle of water... B/c a car was behind me I had no choice open my door (instead of pulling ahead or behind) causing me to inadvertly hit my car door to the building side...in spite of the tight fit between the door and the building, I was able to shimmy my way out and retrieve my script that landed in a puddle of water. I had to tap on the window to let her... The pharmacist know that I needed her to open the drawer again. I'm upset b/c... I'm thinking that all she had to do was reach further inside the drawer to retrieve both scripts, but instead she took the lazy way out and push the drawer back open, which started the whole chain of events. Well... She's upset b/c I handed her a partially wet script, that's when another pharmacist (I believe her nameplate read kathy) stepped in the conversation... Giving me what I believe was a scripted response that b/c the script was wet... That I will have to first wait for it to dry before they can fill it... Of course they can do nothing until it dries... Which infuriated me b/c it seemed like a retaliation response... So I stood there mute... Looking at her... That's when she made the ultimate power move... Which was as stated "that they could no longer fill my order b/c of my actions"... Which then forced me become instantly contrite, and essentially beg her to place my order agree to her terms... I felt humilated b/c I really needed this order to be place for my sick son. Bottomline, I shouldn't have to feel like I need to kiss the ring to have a service performed... Which I believe the pharmacist was mainly at fault. Please check the video of what took place.

My desired resolution would be an apology.

Walgreens shantra the shift manager

Shantra has a history of being rude condescending, and disrespectful to customers. Female customers in particular. She ruined my husbands birthday by not assisting me and belittling me while I tried to get answers. She then threatened me. I repeatedly asked her to please allow me to talk and to please understand I was trying to resolve the matter, however the gentleman I worked with previously assisted me. She was irate and disgusting. She over talked me and then stated she needed to call on Jesus before she did something to me. I live up the block and I have witnessed her get into altercations on the regular. She follows kids around the store, and makes me go to the rite aid when I see her. Please someone offer help as to ensure her behavior is reported. I contacted the complaints department.

Then Came To Believe its criminals mentally serving patients medication mentally freaking in bullying Those whom really care about your health some probably wear gloves to take the pills to put inside the jars some bout don't Ka Von Allen, been taking care of himself therefire what his forever life living do not have no failure Ka Von Allen, so over it all KaVon Allen might have got the dirty medication bottle. A doctor freaking the medication and stocking pills inside the jar have to be thinking STD free get off my all grown-up baby boy for goodness sake a doctor or nurses can not stock pills in thinking disrespectful, instead think healing 100% healthy making healing forcefield that no one or std can break through.

Walgreens pharmacy service filling prescription orders

The pharmacy has great difficulty providing equitable service filling perscriptions, reviewing patient-customer of what country drugs can not be used to fill medications and providing correct information regarding pickup of orders. For perscription nasal spray I had returned 7 times per request of pharmacy; the order has yet to be filled. Medications were filled using customer black listed countries (Romania, India, Sri Lanka). Physican Prior Authorizations have been lost by staff causing week long delay receiving medications. Cupons are often not accepted. Wallgreens should not be allowed in USA, one of the worst pharmacutical companies on the planet.

Walgreens sales associate

To Whom it May Concern,

First I would like to positively state that I love this store and I enjoy shopping here as a frequent customer and I have never had a problem with any associate before until this one. I was so upset that I had not gotten his name but he was working at 2:38pm on 10/16/2019 at the East Ave location.
I went into the store to purchase a pack of cigarettes. I had seen that the line was very long and because I have worked in retail before I understand how that can be overwhelming, so I browsed for a few minutes until the line was gone.
When I got to the register with a smile on my face I politely asked for a pack of cigarettes. I understand Walgreen's ID policy very well and I have always followed their policy on purchasing tobacco products.
I showed him my ID and I explained that I currently have my old ID because due to a stroke of unfortunate luck it had gotten stolen and that the store manager on Sunday 10/13/19 had scanned the ID and said that it works and not to worry about it.
The associate stated, " well I cannot accept this because our company will get dinged for it."
He didnt even acknowledge that his manager had approved this 3 days ago.
I also explained very nicely that I have a picture of my valid drivers license front & back that is valid on my phone that I can show him but he still refused to let me purchase a pack of cigarettes.
He didn't even apologize or show any remorse towards me and it was very clear I was sad and upset by this.
I said "okay thank you" and took my service to 711 who was very accommodating and even with a long line behind me at the register.
Also in the past few months have had other complaints from my boyfriend and his mother from this associate refusing to let them purchase tobacco because 'even though his mother is making the purchase and he came to help her and keep her company that he cannot accept her purchase due to new company policy."
I have never felt so upset and unjustified by an employee at Walgreens. I absolutely love that store and their customer service has always been excellent so this visit and this associate truly disappointed me as a customer.
I don't wish any punishment on this employee but I do wish he was aware of his lack of customer service skills and empathy. I do wish he could show with actions that he has successfully changed his ways as an employee and who knows maybe customer service isn't right for him as an occupation.
I also feel as though he is not being a team player and he is making the well-loved Walgreens look terrible and that isn't fair to his fellow employees and company.

Walgreens pharmacy will not fill prescription / has pa #/ hiring an attorney

I've went to vista medical center and they wrote me suboxone strips. Had to have PA number. Doctor says it came back 5 days ago. They faxed a copy to pharmacy and that's all they can do. The doctors office even gave me a copy. And pharmacy still would not take it. Pharmacy will not even try. Pharmacy just looks down on you like your a your trash or something. There rude and they talk about your business for other customers to hear. I have every intention of getting an attorney. I was sober and because of this I am not any longer. Pharmacy still will not fill my meds. And I'm like on the verge. So So yea expect a call from attorney.

Walgreens pharmacy

On 10/14/2019, my doctor electronically sent in a prescription for some antibiotics for me. Due to traffic it took me 30 minutes to drive to the Walgreens on Clearlake. I stood in line for another 10 minutes. When it was my turn I asked if they had a prescription for me. I was told they did, but it would take 20 minutes for them to get it ready. So I went across the street to McDonald's and got something to eat. I ate the meal in my truck. I waited 30 minutes before going back in. I got back in line and when I reached the register that they hadn't started working on my prescription and was told that they would put me on the board and call me when my prescription was ready. I sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for them to call my name. One of the shift leads that was working in the pharmacy told me I was next to be called. I waited another 15 minutes and my name was never called. Finally, I got back in line and was told it was ready. Usually when people come into Walgreens for their prescription it's because they are not feeling well. All they want to do is get their prescription(s) and go home. Not wait for an hour and 45 minutes to pick up their prescription. The Walgreens on Clearlake is extremely slow. I will not be returning to that Walgreens for anything. I will go to another Walgreens. If they aren't any better and faster I will move my prescriptions to a different pharmacy altogether.
