Walgreens - Drive thru service @ 4870 Port Royal Rd, Spring Hill Tn. 37174

We waited in line for over 1 hour. April 11, 2023 at 4:40pm and left at 5:10pm We asked why there was such a long wait and the clerk said their computers were down all day. That is the same thing they told me two days ago when the prescription was called in.

That is uncalled for. We spoke with the lady in the car ahead of us and she said it is like that all the time.

Walgreens - unethical behavior

On 10/09/15 I went to get my prescription refill for Lyrica 100mg 3 at bedtime. I was told that they could not refill it until the next day because it is a controlled substance and insurance would not allow it. I only had 1 pill to take that night and I knew from past experience that missing my full dose would cause extreme anxiety and agitation. A couple of months ago my Grandfather passed away and I was very upset that night and accidentally took all my medications that night twice. It was an unfortunate mistake. I was short at the end of that month and spoke to the pharmacist on staff who told me to take two Lyrica during the day and then the three like normal that night to get it built back up in my system. I even voiced my concern about taking that much Lyrica in one day and he said I would be fine, and I was. Then I get to the end of this month and again I'm short on the last day of month. I asked the pharmacist for a solution, to this problem, of not having enough medication on the last night of my prescription. She said "I can not refill your prescription because you are taking more than is prescribed." That is not what I was asking her to do. I asked her if my Doctor could call in a prescription for two pills for that night. She told me no she would not fill it because I took more than was prescribed and that maybe "we" need to have a talk with my doctor to have my medication changed or adjust my dose if I'm having withdrawals from missing one full dose. What? She has no idea what I've been through looking for something that actually works and I do not need to adjust my dose. When I take the three as prescribed each night it works fine. She also scolded me for taking 5 Lyrica in one day even though it was a pharmacist on staff there who told me to do it! I called a different location and asked the same question. Is there anything I can do to break this cycle and without hesitation she said yes. Have your doctor call in a new prescription adjusting your dose for a couple of days to make up for the two pills I needed to get back on track. That easy! Except that my doctor's office was now closed. I have no choice but to ride it out today but had to cancel all my plans because I can't function. I did not appreciate that pharmacist's tone of voice and overall demeanor. She made a decision that should have been at my doctors discretion and made me feel like a drug addict. My body is physically dependent but I'm not an addict. Matter of fact, I had to be talked into taking Lyrica to begin with. There was a lot more said by both of us but bottom line is that she missed an opportunity to help a customer solve a problem and chose not to.

When I went to pick up my prescription the same woman was working that I had exchanged words with the day before. It was a little sticky at first but in the end she apologized for the way she made me feel and I apologized for my reaction. She also offered a solution going forward. Couldn't ask for more!

I'm in Texas and the Walgreens out here are very rude as well. Hopefully they will go out of business in the near future. I absolutely refuse to step into any Walgreens for anything. But if I have to, they best watch their ways because I now have a lawyer comping at the bits and I will have no problems letting him off the leash.

I am not sure when you posted this, but the Brentwood Missouri store had VERY obvious racism among b&w's It stemmed from the manager Ricardo and the rest of the black people (except one) were very unhelpful, would not back up the whites when they needed two cashiers, etc. I have a friend who worked for 13 years all days and all hours. Her professionalism included remembering people's names, kids names who was sick with what and wished them to feel better. After 13 years this woman took the first vacation and left town. Right when she arrived at her destination, she received a phone call that her son was dead. She turned the car around and drove straight through, probably some speeding, but she held her emotions in check to focus on the road. 6 weeks later Ricardo fired her for groundless accusations. WALGREEN EVERY WHERE are miserable. Go to CVS where you have friends that are are on the ball, ready and willing to back each other up and have no racial hostilities. It was that Brentwood Missouri Manager Ricardo who--yes--got promoted--and my friend was fired. We filed an EEOC charge of racism--but Walgreens dragged it's heels had nothing to say. They pulled out some minor detail about the time my friend was falling apart over her dead son.
