Good morning,
I have been waiting on a prescription for three weeks that my doctor sent out the day I went and visit her on 10/20/21, I received a text from the automatic system stating that something was with the insurance. I got a text to come to the pharmacy to get my other medications and when I got there was the clerk said the medication is not ready and I showed her my text. Her response was that the automatic system, I said you need to fix it because I am running from work all the way in a different borough to come to another borough. that is just one issues, then another is professionalism, they are saying out loud my medications at the counter, I don't want people knowing my medication regimen. That is a hippa issues, this needs to stop.
On 10/20, I went to my neurologist and in the office she sent my prescription and I got a text stating that it was being worked on and that they had insurance issues. I called my doctor she said it is good on her part. I went in and they said they have to call my doctor. Second week they pick up the phone and hang up and I have to wait 3o or more minutes for them to answer calls. I called and finally got the pharmacist and she said she would call my doctor and three weeks went by nothing. I call this morning 11/15, (look at the date 10/20) and after waiting 30 minutes and they hung up on me. I had to call back wait another 30 minutes before speaking to someone and finally got the pharmacist and she tried to blame it on my doctor stating she never sent the prescription. I said I spoke with you and you said that it was an insurance issues. Now you can't find my prescriptions. three weeks WITHOUT MY MEDICATIONS. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
Desired outcome: NOTHING, I HAVE TO CALL MY DOCTOR.
