Walgreens has completely gone downhill and has zero cares about it.
I recently was at a location in our hometown about 15 minutes after it opened for the day. I was walking to the back to grab medications and slipped and scrabbed my knee and knocked my head as well as tweaked my back. I stood up and noticed a substance on the floor (photos attached). It was everywhere, all over every isle in the store. I yelled when I fell so one of the staff did come and look and never asked if I was ok, just said she was working on cleaning it up. Another staff member went and got the manager who came out 10 minutes later and took my name and number and a small incident report and never contacted me again. My shoes were ruined and I also had a scrapped knee and hurt my back. It's ridiculous customer service for a company this size.
In addition, it's impossible to get prescriptions filled timely. I've been waiting on a prescription for my daughter since Friday (today is Monday) and I've called and been transferred to 7 different pharmacies only to then have my prescription status go into delayed because it was already filled. I've spent 3 hours trying to get a basic prescription filled.
If Walgreens isn't able to keep up the standard of buildings or care, then they should seriously consider closing additional locations.
I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy going forward.
