Ended up paying $1900 for a chair that coast $800. This company is a rip off and a joke. I called yo pay off which my payoff had been under $500 for a long time. I felt like I was never going to pay it off. So I decided to pay it off. Qell payoff went from. $400 to over 500! They tell me it's cause the rent payment come out that day. So my payoff was 514! Not 417. Which is FALSE ADVERTISING WHAT I WAS TO PAY TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT! I CALLED ASKED FOR MY $97.00 BACK. THE AGENT REFUSED TO PROVIDE REFUND. YOU PEOPLE ARE ROBBING PEOPLE AND I WILL MAKE SURE YOU NO LONGER ROB PEOPLE!I HAVE SCREENSHOT OF BALANCEA DUE. PLUS OVER CHARGE

I went to a jewelers store and purchased a ring for $1500. Now that my 3 months is up I went to the portal to pay it off before any interests accumulates and I come to find out about these extra fees that I was not aware of because no one told us about it at the time of purchase and signing the contract . Very upsetting how they just like to take money from people without an actual explanation just that it’s extra fees and that’s ir. Would never purchase anything with them again. And I 0% recommend to anyone unless they want to get robbed like I did. They do not want to help me at all with all of those supposed fees even though I told them I didn’t know about them. Horrible company!

They literally charged me for a 12 month payment a day earlier than stated. Own I am stuck over paying for this cheap furniture. They have ruined my credit they are liars and banned in multiple states. I am seeking legal help to have them remove any marks from credit and will be working to shut them down no.lm stop until I succeed these companies must be stopped.

Acima created my account with an incorrect social security number, therefore I never have access to my own account. When I called to correct it they said only if I send a photo of my card with an ID. I told them I am not comfortable sending to a random email this info due to identity theft. They said sorry then we can’t help you. But they still collect my money.

I use Acima all the time. I always pay it off in the 3 months time period so interest isn't added on because that's really where they collect their money. I bought a fridge for my restaurant. I paid off the balance it said was due today to close my lease. Now I'm getting calls because apparently they didn't get 40 so that caused them to reopen my account without my knowledge and charge me the interest and mess up my credit for non payment.

Worst company ever. Openly admitted they were scamming us. Gave us a run around and cannot answer any of our questions or a resolution despite us having screenshots. I canceled our other purchase and cannot wait to be done with them. Oh by the way their reps reaching out to try and fix resolutions is a joke. All they do is sit and repeat themselves like a robot “I am not able to see previous buy out information” sure you aren’t buddy. Also their contract doesn’t reflect what they’re charging. Joke of a company.

They used to be a very good company. I’ve used them over 5 times. Now they are really becoming a predatory lending place. The fees that are on the actual contract is not the fees they tell you what’s owed. On my lease my buyout was $498.00. But they’ve charging me $600. One rep says that they tax on the buyout now & chatge additional $50.00 when you you do 90 day purchase option. None of this is on my lease agreement. BUYERS BE VERY AWARE OF THE SCAMMERS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THESE CROOKS

I had leased a I phone and at one point I couldn’t afford the payment so I returned the phone to a ima in Utah to the address that was provided by acima at usps have receipt and also recipient a call on 11/10/22 from acima stating they have received the i phone and I will no longer be charged but they continued take $160 a month from my credit card. So this to needs to be resolved and my money needs to be returned to me.it is now the end of march 2023 and I have not received my money back.they lied and still lying

The representative who convinced us to go with go with Acima left out plenty of details. Not only did he fail to explain correctly but he misled us with what we were signing in term of an agreement. Not sure if I need to seek out my lawyers advice but this is extremely shady.

Purchased a ring for 1400 through a jeweler. Funny thing is, I had the money in full ready to go. The jeweler explain to me there’s a company called Acima that would save you the $1400 and would allow you to pay the balance of $1400 down over the span of 12 months.

Well, not only was he deceiving but he got us to sign without mention anything nor with us signing an actual contract stating that that grand total would actual come to $3,484.16

I need answer as to why these representatives of the company are misleading and lying to customers?

On December 7th, 2022, I had repairs done on my car, the price of the repairs were $439.39. Acima had listed the lease amount as $489.39 and still have not received a copy of the lease agreement. I have requested a copy a number of times but to no avail. I was finally able to view the agreement and that's when I found out I was being charged more for than for the services received. I have been communicating by phone over the past two months trying to understand why their 90-day payoff total was so different from mine as they didn't match my payments they never once gave me the same answer.

Was told the pay-off didn't reflect a pending payment by one person and told by another that it did. When I finally was able to get online the pay-off amount was always different always higher never lower even after a payment was made. I beginning to feel like they run a fraudulent business and that I've been taken advantage of. When my heater in my car stopped working in December and having been out on an unpaid medical leave since October I needed to use their services. Let the buyer beware of their business practices!

i bought a mattress on monthly payments for 800 with taxes and everything came out to 1050 i already paid 840 in less than 6 months called to [ay it off they told me another 835 dollars i told them i would like to return it they told me i cant return it and wanted to settle for 535 dollars they told me that i could pay if off in 90 day but wanted me to pay them more on top of the 189.60 they already took out .

Moved into a house that had no refrigerator and needed to one so to save time went to rental store to rent a refrigerator until I could buy one. The one I rented was full of cockroaches and I returned the refrigerator and canceled rental agreement. Now they have me owing over 500.00 on my credit. I do not owe them anything. I should have sued the rental company. Take this off my credit

In January 2015 rented a house that did not come with a refrigerator. Had to have a refrigerator so rented one from Buddy's Rentals San Angelo Tx. Then started looking to buy one. But we noticed that there were cockroaches in the house. None when we moved in. The cockroaches were coming out of the refrigerator. called to have refrigerator picked up. Only rented did not agree to purchase.
