Walgreens review: Pharmacy/ HPV Shot

I had scheduled a 10:45 appointment for my 9 yr old daughter to get the HPV vaccine, I also received a message reminding me my daughter had an appointment. I get there and the lady at the pharmacy register asked how she could help, I told her. The pharmacist comes over asks her what it is and hear her softly say we aren’t doing that! The lady at the register goes we aren’t? She said we can’t, I said and why can’t you? She goes she’s not 18 and you don’t have a prescription. I said it didn’t say I needed one. My other daughter who is 12 got hers last week, she goes here!?!? I said no cvs she goes well that’s not us. I said well you guys need to update the website then. First of the pharmacist was rude and looked at me like I was crazy for brining my daughter to get an immunization. Second of all… if you can give a child under 18 a vaccination then why the hell do you offer appointments for it. Somewhere somehow someone needs to fix it! I wasted a 40 min drive and gas just for a pharmacist to be rude and looked at me like I’m a bad parent. Then I walk away and my daughter goes mommy they are whispering and talking about you behind your back! I said that’s fine let them it’s not my fault she was rude and do not say needed a prescription ahead of time. I was going to call her pediatrician to send one over but then was like nope cause if she was rude to me she is NOT touching my child. Not happy, I was and am still angry! I went down the street to CVS and got her immunization there! I’m sorry I use to love Walgreens but after today I’m not sure I’ll ever be back. I went back on to go through the scheduling process again and no where does it say under 18 has to have a prescription only if under 13 must have a parent which I did. I have added screen shots! Also I’m sorry but you need to more customer friendly employees.
