Walgreens review: Pharmacist from China ( 1 comment)

I went in to have my OneTouch Plus system checked to see if it was working properly and was directed to the pharmacist. It appears to both me and to him that the Lancet holder would not lock into place in order to release it with the green button to have the needle hit your finger to draw blood. I brought the receipt with the QR code and he said he could NOT refund the Meter due to the fact it MAY be broken and it may NOT be. I told him I have been a customer for many years and all you do is go to the cashier and tell them you are doing a return on an eligible item and it is done. I gave him the receipt and he had to call the assistant manager into the discussion and he was not helpful anymore than the Pharmacist and I was told to come back in a couple of hours and talk to the Manager. I left disgusted; treated extra poorly and all of my time, the assistant's manager's time and they wanted it to continue to the Manager's time. I left the store and said I will NEVER be back even though I just transferred additional prescriptions from another Walgreens in High Point and all from Express Scripts. I will stay a few weeks more and then move everything out unless I am told a reprimand is in his employee folder and additional training is provided. I went less than a mile away and received a full REFUND within a few minutes, no questions asked and no time wasted. With my business, I have access to over 5 Million email addresses and am the moderator of some bulletin boards in Emerywood and all the surrounding towns and counties. BBB allows legally to report as it becomes PUBLIC knowledge. Your business could suffer dramatically.

Desired outcome: REPRIMAND in Pharmacist Employee File and $10 Gift Card
