Unlimited Vacation Club No benefits

We purchased in April 2023 Punta Cana. We have been paying but have not seen the benefits that where promised. Every time we try to book a trip their is barrier. When you call on the phone it is hard to understand the staff. We definitely got taken advantage of. So yesterday we get a call from U lifestyle their affiliate for cruises and resorts. The representative wanted us to renew with them for another package. It sounded good he is guiding us through the website. The cruises and resorts and week we get from other travelers. Promised us crus credits, travel credits ect. By the end of the presentation he was asking for 3,499 dollars for a preferred status. So wait a minute I cant get the things that were promised from vacations unlimited where I pay 301 a month. You think we are naïve enough to be taken a second time ! Wow the nerve ! Has anyone actu8ally had a positive experience with this company and gone on vacations ? We have talked to an attorney for guidance which is more money. But this company needs to be stopped they are taking peoples hard earned money ! By the time we finish paying it will be 10,000.

Unlimited Vacation Club Honoring first visit incentives and a signed contract

On Feb 23, 2023 we purchased a Pearl Package at Dreams resort in Huatulco, MX. We were given first visit incentives for 2 premier weeks that were IMMEDIATELY ACCESSIBLE upon signing the contract. We were also given 4 RCI bonus weeks for $299 valid for 2 years. We paid a down payment of $3,875.00USD of the contract and have paid monthly amounts ever since. We were clearly told that we had 2 weeks of premier nights available to us IMMEDIATELY upon signing as an incentive gift to sign there and then (I have this in writing).

7 months later I went to book/use 7 of our premier nights and am told that we have to pay out the remainder of our contract $6500+ if I want to access the 14 premier nights.

I understand how the regular premier nights work on a regular basis. However, these 14 premier nights were given to us to use immediately as stated in our contract. I want UVC to honor their contract and what was promised upon signing. Please see my contract attached.

Desired outcome: I would like a response to my request and to have access to 7 premier nights immediately, as was stated in my contract (provided).

Unlimited Vacation Club Cancel membership and be reimbursed

We got duped at Dreams Cozumel. I don’t know how much money we have spent in total, but I have yet gotten and “free” anything. We made a huge downpayment, and spend $400 per month for this membership. We also spent $4000 + on Unlimited Lifestyle, and another $2000 + for RCI crap. We have been promised everything from free resort weeks, free cruises, free airfare, free car rentals, etc. However, when trying to use any of these things we were not allowed because of the time of the year, or we have to pay fees as our free week is only the “base” amount, and the fees end up costing as much as if I booked not using my “free” week. The rates continue to go up for no reason. I am out over $10,000, and have got nothing for it. And now the free weeks I was guaranteed are not available till I pay in full, or upgrade to the next level which costs more money. I am so beyond done. I want to sue the rntire corporation and every individual that works there plus all the resorts.

Claimed loss: $10,000

Unlimited Vacation Club False perks

My Fiance and I purchased our UVC member at Dreams Macao, DR in January 2023, however I feel like we were scammed. Andre from Dream Macao told us we would be given preferred status with each of our stays. We purchased the membership because we will be getting married in DR and want to be able to provide the best prices, room upgrades and experiences as possible. We were also given $200 worth in vouchers to use at the spa, I got a great Sea & C facial, but coincidently was not able to use our vouchers.

In all honesty I feel like I will have a hard time using these "perks" when it comes time to actually book. Anyway, fast forward to Sept 2023 we stayed at Dreams Flora, we weren't given "preferred status" as promised with our UVC purchase, and we were given the worst room, ground floor and starring at a wall. Again we were given discount vouchers to the spa, I had a basic tension massage and once again coincidently couldn't use them again.

We are planning to attend another UVC location in Cancun and am hoping I will actually have the "perks" that were promised.

Its unfortunate to feel like "just another guest" when you pay towards a travel membership.

Desired outcome: Hoping to get a preferred room at next stay which is being planned for December 2023.

Unlimited Vacation Club Scam

Back in January myself and a friend went to Dreams in Cabo. We were approached by a gentleman stating he would give us $300 in resort credit to use for the spa and discount excursions if we go to a 90 min presentation. We agree to go the next day and then the nightmare begins. The pressure was on and the drinks were flowing. Since it was just the two of us there we were rather nervous to say no. We ended up agreeing to a membership that had been sold back to UVC. We didn’t get our welcome call/email for 7 days. They also wouldn’t provide a paper copy of the contract. It took several months before we started thinking about another vacation. We learned that the weeks we wanted were not an option and I could get a better rate by being a travel agent. We had already paid over $4,000 for absolutely nothing. We never used it. It didn’t make since to continue to pay for something we wouldn’t use. We sent an email to have the membership cancelled in August. We never got a reply. During the presentation we were told a bunch of [censored] verbally. We were told that we could cancel or they would buy back at anytime but we wouldn’t get our money back that we had paid. We were okay with that. Today we received an email stating they would send us to collections if we didn’t pay. I would rather go broke paying to fight this sham of a company then give them anymore of our money. I will never send a client of mine to one of these properties and I will do my best to let people know of this scam when going to the travel exhibits or travel trade shows all over the US.

Desired outcome: Would like our membership canceled and that put in writing. Also stop with the harassing calls and e-mails. Will provide our membership number once this has been acknowledged.

This has not been resolved. We have emailed you previously requesting cancellation and didn’t get a reply. We have not used our membership and won’t. we do not care to discuss it further. We are not even requesting a refund. I will email the account information but the only communication we want from you is to let us know the membership has been canceled.

Unlimited Vacation Club Secrets Sint Maarten

I have been a member of Unlimited Vacation Club for several years and have hosted and traveled to several countrys. We went with 3 other couples to Cobo and were treated very well. We have been to 2 other resorts and felt treated very well. We brought another couple to this resort in Sint Maarten and had our trip crushed. From check in to check out I could begin to tell you that this is not a Secrets. Most of the resturants were not open, the food left much to be desired - when you had a problem with door locks ect. I took a miracle to get something fixed. It was not a pleasant experiance that we had at other Secrets - no app for anything and they were mostly rude. Sorry for the bad review but this vacation was a bust. I am not happy.

Desired outcome: A new destination for both us and the party we paid for - MD1-000769

Well - complained and they still have not tried to make it right - I guess we will have to step it up to the next level - getting ahold of credit card company and reversing the charges. Thanks

Unlimited Vacation Club Vacation package

We were scammed into this time share in disguise soon after arriving at the airport in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, we did not do our due diligence and read the reviews but instead got tricked into purchasing one of their expensive timeshare/vacation packages by their high pressure salesmen who deceptively said we could cancel anytime but neglected to mention the cancellation fee of 50% of contract. Nevertheless, after signing up for this program with $2700 down payment and paying monthly $250 monthly for 4 months, my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor, hospitalized and suffered a cardiac arrest which resulted in severe brain damage, and leaving here currently in a vegetative state on a ventilator. Contacted this company about cancelling and the heartless supposedly Quality Assurance rep Deyana Peraza pretty much disregarded my tragic and devastating circumstances, and still demanded payment of cancellation fee. She was extremely rude, disrespectful, uncaring, unapologetic, and was concerned about nothing other than collecting the cancellation fee and even threatened me with company lawyers if I write a negative review. I advised them them I'm not paying because I can't afford it, 1st of all, and I would not give this coldhearted scam of a company one more cent of my money after the extreme rudness experienced from Deyana especially.

Desired outcome: Cancel my membership

Unlimited Vacation Club Refund per contract, do not honor contract and misleading.

My husband and I signed a contract on August 3,2022 while on vacation in Jamaica at Breathless Resort not knowing we were being scammed, and we canceled on August 6,2022 per the 5 day cancellation policy in the contract. We paid this company $22,000 in full after a presentation full of lies, misleading information about the company and more. We wasted 4 hours of our vacation with this company. I’ve been dealing with this company trying to get a refund for over a year. They’ll ignore you, harassing you, curse you out, and still lie and mislead you. I’ve never even used the mess. This company is a complete scam and the workers treat people so poorly. I’ve spoken with [protected]@unlimitedvc.com after he reached out about trying to collect over $80k from us and threatening to put it on our credit reports. I sent him proof of the email with dates and detailed information when I canceled the membership per contract . I also paid the employee from the resort $1,100 to help me resolve the issue. (She gave me her information at the resort) scammed by her as well. I had to reach out numerous of times before he even responded. I told him that I was going to report the company and all he had to say was “I put your threats in the system” and “Good luck with your legal process” after I told him I was sending this to my attorney to proceed further to get my money back. After researching and reviewing complaints I see others we having my same issue and so much more. They do not honor the contract terms at all. This is sickening. They’ve been scamming for YEARS! If anyone is interested in a class action lawsuit email me at [protected]@gmail.com there’s thousands of people that was scammed by this company. In the meantime file your complaint with the CFPB, FTC, and your state attorney general as well. Continue to spread awareness all over even call your local new station. It’ll be great if we all reach out to CNN and all national news stations. They need to be stopped.

Desired outcome: Full refund and to honor contract.

Unlimited Vacation Club Club membership

During my visit last August to Secrets Riveria Maya, I was coerced into signing a 5-year contract for a vacation club under the influence. I had my daughter with me. who is a minor and the fast-talking salespeople promised me a deluxe suite and other massive discounts that would pay for itself within the five years. They charged me $900 and $176 per month afterwards. I am a single parent and suffer from medical impairments. I can't continue paying the membership, I tried talking to the company without success. I can't use the membership and the fees are piling up. I have not made any payments this month and won't be able to. I need to speak to someone to end this nightmare. I have four years left on this membership and I hope that we can terminate the contract because I am not in a financial position to pay for false promises. Please help!

Desired outcome: Terminate the remaining 4 years of the contract.

Unlimited Vacation Club Dreams las mareas

September 7, 2023

Customer Service:

We are extremely disappointed. Our recent visit to Dreams Las Mareas was not what one would expect of a membership.

We were neither offered, nor received, any special treatment. As a matter of fact, it was cheaper for us to sign in with the wedding package of our niece, than to sign in as members. What is the purpose of membership? When we arrived, the staff did not know where to put us; we spent more than one half hour checking in – Motel Six is more efficient.

We could not dine at the Japanese restaurant. For the Italian restaurant we were informed that it was required of us to purchase a bottle of wine for a reservation (no one actually knew anything about these reservations). We had to wait more than half an hour to buy the wine bottle.

We recommended to our niece to buy Britt coffee – she waited more than one month to receive her shipment.

For the wedding, the wedding planner you assigned was a total disgrace. Very insufficient knowledge and service.

In summary, we again ask, What is the purpose of membership if one receives no special considerations?

Desired outcome: Improved attention and service

Unlimited Vacation Club White pearl package

In March 2022 while vacationing at breathless, I was approached to join a sales conference where alcohol and other gifts were provided while listening to the sales pitch. I was the sold on this so called advantageous program that would afford me in essence so little.

The cost was 9200 USD and I made a down payment 2300 and then was being charged about 250$ per month at 9percent interest rate.

I called to cancel considering I never used it because ultimately it affords very little value. However, to cancel I would need to pay 4600 us dollars dollars, half of the total amoubt, despite not having used it ever. Or I could transfer it (no one wants it) or they will lower my interest rate, stop the payment till January and offer me a couple nights free.

I would instead like to have at least half my money back

Desired outcome: I would like to have half of the money back that I paid so far roughly 4400. Therefore 2200.

Unlimited Vacation Club Misrepresentation and lies

My family and I vacationed at Secrets in Puerto Vallarta this past June (2023) and attended the sales meeting. Carla and Rodrigo were very charming and did their jobs well. That being said, the product that is being offered is not worth the money.

We were sold on lies. We were told we could use RCI weeks at Disney Property which is simply not true. This was also pretty much the only reason we booked with UVC. We were told we could cancel at any time and we would get our money back, also apparently not true. We have been trying to cancel our member ship for over a month now and get our 50% deposit back. We sent a hand-written letter ( via e-mail) requesting cancellation and a refund on 8/3. Almost immediately after we sent the e-mail we got a direct e-mail from a UVC representative wanting us to pay off our contract early!

We finally heard back from UVC last week and they were anything but helpful. They keep trying to give us the run-around and keep referring to all the "benefits" we are getting. We have been dealing with Mauricio Emmanuel Gomez Flores who has claimed to be the mediator but is definitely not the name listed on our contract.

You only have 5 days to cancel the contract after that your are out of luck. This is unfair because it takes weeks to get your membership e-mails/data from UVC and up to 90 days to get your RCI login and account information. There is not enough time to learn all the information about UVC/RCI and all the hidden pitfalls they have built in.

I never want to have anything to do with a UVC property again.

Desired outcome: We want our money back.

Unlimited Vacation Club Refund

On august 7th I went to a presentation at dreams natura to talk about unlimited vacation club. The woman sat with us while we had breakfast and was boasting about how being a uvc member is the best thing anyone who wants to travel and save money can do. We were made so many promises and decided to sign. They made it seem like some of the benefits they were giving us was a once in a lifetime offer that they could do specifically for us. They were filling us up with drinking and just telling us what we wanted to hear. We signed the contract and payed 2,440.50 upfront. We ended up staying in Mexico for the rest of my trip. When I finally got home and had access to my laptop and email I read the contract and noticed a couple things weren’t stated. I just thought that those were perks that the hotels probably had on file for my account. A week later I finally received the welcome call but since it was a Mexico number it wouldn’t go through. So I contacted them to call me from another number which they do. That’s when the promises that were made came into question and she told me “I don’t know what they said to you but that’s not the case” we were promised free nights and free days. Turns out those free days were going to cost us 300 dollars before sept or they weren’t going to be valid and they would be gone. So I told her no I want to talk to someone in charge because I was lied to and want to cancel if this is the type of company they run. No one contacted me in over a week. I kept calling different numbers and every number claimed they didn’t handle cancellations or refunds. Finally on sept 1st I get an email saying that my contract was cancelled but I will not be receiving my deposit back because the time had expired. It’s completely unfair that I can’t get my deposit back if it was their lack of communication. All I want is my deposit back considering that I didn’t get any perks or benefits while I was there.

Desired outcome: Please refund my deposit.

Unlimited Vacation Club Medical claim not answered

I was hurt at Secrets St. James Montego Bay on August 1, 2022 and seen the nurse and made a report. Until today nobody from UVC and/or Secrets Montego Bay has answered my calls and emails. I was sitting near the pool and the umbrella was open, in the base and it was not secured. The screw was missing to hold the umbrella in the base to make it sturdy. It was breezy that afternoon and I was lounging in the chair, when all of a sudden the umbrella flew out of the base, and the bottom of the umbrella stabbed me in my leg. I was unable to walk, They gave me ice for the cut and bruise, then made me walk to go see the nurse. I filled out a report and gave my medical insurance information. All they tell me is that they sent me an email which I did not receive any but the one with the contact information to AMR resorts. I was told that someone by the name of Grecel has been trying to contact me by email , still did not receive anything. My phone number is on file and no phones either. I have photos but will send when I speak to someone.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a call back, I would like to be accommodated with something because for the 2 days of the trip I was unable to walk and enjoy my last days. I actually upgraded my plan to Silver at this resort and no recognition.

Unlimited Vacation Club UVC is fraudulent and won’t let you out of contract

We purchased our contract on our honeymoon at Secrets in Jamaica, January 2020. We’re given false information from day 1. I have requested a cancellation of my contract in September 2022 by phone call and email. I have had several discuss with the UVC staff that since we have paid over 50% of our fees, we can get out. Since that discussion, we continued to recieve emails with “better” payment options to which we declined 2x and stated we want to cancel the contract. Apparently, we just found out in August 2023, a year later after requesting to cancel, that if you don’t respond to the continuous emails about better payment arrangements 3x, they consider that not following the cancellation process and will refuse to cancel your account. We have paid over $15,000 and just want out. There is no language in the contract about this cancellation process. We haven’t been able to use the services and anything we called to use them, the staff were rude or unhelpful. We are now being put into collections because of default payments. We are looking to pursue legal actions due to clause 15 (Early Termination) of the contract. We have attempted to have several discussions with Ruth Asiadet Valadez Rodriguez and even asked to speak with her Manager and are being tild management doesn’t speak to guests and that she can’t help us because our contract is in default. There is no one at the company who is willing to help. This company us fraudulent and operates on false promises. Can anyone assist me?

Desired outcome: Cancelled contract and not have to pay defaulted balance as cancellation was requested when account was in up to date on payments.

Unlimited Vacation Club Cancellation during COVID outbreak at resort & inappropriate sales tactics

My husband and I were married at Dreams Jade, on Xmas day we had our UVC meeting which the sales rep was “teaching” us how to take a tequila shot “the right way”. He literally brought a platters worth throughout the entire meeting and was instigating us being we just got married. I remember how awful it was because every time we said we weren’t sure and not committed to such large monthly payments and the deposit they asked of us the rep would send his manager over to reassure us and up sell us on other perks. After leaving our meeting, we had a few hours of time that went by and then we’re called by the resort on our cellphones and room phones that we needed to be quarantined because someone had tested positive for COVID. We were leaving the next day. It was utter chaos and honestly we loved the resort however well never go back to this one because of how we were mistreated with the COVID scenario, and the UVC. We paid $2000 more to extend our trip which led us to UVC on Xmas day spending 5 hours in the meeting, if we hadn’t extended the stay we would’ve never met with them. We’ve paid close to $10k so far and they are harassing us about collections even though I made it very clear we tried to cancel during the stay however being quarantined was not helpful. We lost our income & they’re harassing us. Buy the membership back, deed-back. Anything! I could’ve been on vacation multiple times with the amount we’ve paid them to date.

Desired outcome: Cancellation without penalty!

Unlimited Vacation Club Ulifestyles collections / uvc

I was over charged on the initial contract. Oscar said he would charge $25 per month on my AMR account only to find he had been charging and double charging the account for months, times $77 ×2 per month. As well as my husband's account. When I discovered it, I called and his way of covering it up was more lies made to deceive me out of even more funds. The number of caused a last minute interruption in Vacation plans be cut short and cancellation of my husband's birthday celebration on his birthday by children and grandchildren who had traveled from Washington DC area to Saint Petersburg Florida. I never said Orlando from my mouth nor knowing agreed with Orlando statements. This is a technical whitewash on your company's part that has inserted technical yeses where there were none by the customer. I would *** never recommend such to anyone and will seek legal ramifications. Seeing his lying cost almost one thousand dollars out of pocket expenses after lying to cover-up his inability to fulfill his promises. Afterwards in the cancellation process Oscar, the customer support agent, and Oscar's management team promised a return of my $209 down-payment in lieu of the breach of contract that would be back in account in7-10 business days, only to be followed up with another lie given to finance by none other than Oscar.

Desired outcome: Return of overage that is above the initial contract monthly amount $25 per month and return of $209 for the 2nd agreement unfulfilled.

Unlimited Vacation Club Scam be aware

One of the worst scams they do for…

One of the worst scams they do for travelers, especially from the USA. They start tricking you starting at the airport by attracting tourists by selling excursions tickets giving 75% off compared to the resort rates. In return, they will ask you to attend meetings at some resorts. They say, "We are showing you our resort tour just to show how exclusive it is and you can refer your friends". They will ask you to pay by cash for the excursion tour and the tickets will be given only after you finish touring their resort. They promise it will take only 1.5 hrs for the breakfast and the entire tour of the resort. Once you go to the resort, they will take pictures of your driver's license and provide free breakfast. They will take you to the meeting hall where they sell the unlimited vacation package membership. They pressurize you and give you the best rate so you will be tempted to put down payment and they give 4 weeks of free vacation in any of the Hyatt resorts. The two guys who pressurized and sold the product were, Diego and Oscar. Once you sign the contract they will give you all the excursion tickets and they ask you to immediately to leave the resort where you are staying. They also warn you not to say anyone the reason for leaving the resort. Diego and Oscar came personally in their car to pick up from our resort and dropped us in the Secrets resort. They promised us that we are on of the best customers they had and gave us a completely free stay. They promised that it's a completely free stay and their intention is to keep us happy. After the vacation, we got to know through this website it was a complete scam. We called immediately to cancel the membership. They agreed to close the membership and took closer to $3000 of our money which we put as the down payment for the membership. They refused to give back stating it was the closing cost money and will not be returned. We lost so much money on this trip. I am writing this painfully just to create awareness. I am planning to file a dispute against this issue and I am hoping will get my money back. The worst part is I went on this vacation to Los Cabos to create lifelong memories but now when I think of that place and its people it's disgusting to know how cheap and criminal-minded they are. Please stay away from this Unlimited vacation club. Hyatt is one of the most reputable hotels and they are spoiling their name. Please be cautious about this whole scam and this has to be stopped at any cost.

Don't cheat innocent people's hard earn money.

One of the worst scams they do for…

One of the worst scams they do for travelers, especially from the USA. They start tricking you starting at the airport by attracting tourists by selling excursions tickets giving 75% off compared to the resort rates. In return, they will ask you to attend meetings at some resorts. They say, "We are showing you our resort tour just to show how exclusive it is and you can refer your friends".They will ask you to pay by cash for the excursion tour and the tickets will be given only after you finish touring their resort. They promise it will take only 1.5 hrs for the breakfast and the entire tour of the resort. Once you go to the resort, they will take pictures of your driver's license and provide free breakfast. They will take you to the meeting hall where they sell the unlimited vacation package membership. They pressurize you and give you the deadliest rate so you will be tempted to put down payment and they give 4 weeks of free vacation in any of the Hyatt resorts. Once you sign the contract they will give you all the excursion tickets and they ask you to immediately to leave the resort where you are staying. They also warn you not to say anyone the reason for leaving the resort. They made us stay in the secrets and promised it's a completely free stay.

Unlimited Vacation Club Membership

Unlimited Vacation Club released our personal information and we have contacted them regarding this and we are still receiving calls from companies that want to purchase our membership, these are scams they tell us that we need to pay the Mexican taxes in order to proceed with the sale. they Send a contract and it all looks very real. We are contacting a lawyer as we want a refund for our membership from UVC. They do not protect their customers from this type of fraud, The companies that get our names know how many days we have how many free weeks and that we are Silver Members.

plus they have our contact information, we have contacted UVC and nothing is being done. We paid good money and yes we have gone to the Dreams chain but it is disappointing and on top of that even if you are already a member they are still trying to up sell you and get your to make further purchases. We are done with visiting the Dreams, Secrets, Zoetry, chains due to this. They do not look after their members. We lodged a complaint though them regarding an outfit called Hollywood Management that solicited us and nothing has been done, now we have Magnificent Realty calling to make the purchases. We are able to supply emails and supporting documents from these fraudulent companies by email only we will not enter on this site. We are not paying any membership fees until this is dealt with.

Desired outcome: refund from VUC for total Membership 20K plus legal costs

Unlimited Vacation Club "Membership" and "Payments Due"

We were on vacation in the Dominican Republic and ended up signing up for RCI Hilton Grand Vacations. We paid the fee in full by credit card. Ever since then, Unlimited Vacation Club keeps calling and emailing that our 'membership fee' is due, or overdue. Or they call to remind me to "register" with the club. These representatives have tried (without success) to confuse us by saying we have already paid for 2 years of our membership and this is just a renewal. When I tell them that I did not register for this option when we signed up with RCI, they stated that it was free and included. Turns out, it isn't the same at all. Our RCI membership is mostly for resorts in the Carribean. Unlimited Vacation Club is trying to have us purchase THEIR additional membership so we can have those same resort benefits around the world. I have told them over and over on the phone that we are not interested and to stop calling. They are very pushy. I can't seem to get off their calling list and they send multiple emails per week stating I have a "late payment". This is all untrue and a clear ploy to trick people into thinking they need to pay these statements.

Desired outcome: Take me off all calling lists and all email lists. I no longer want to receive ANY correspondence from the Unlimited Vacation Club.
