Membership sales
We upgraded our UVC at secrets Moxche about a year ago. The young woman who was the manager of sales sold us with the Hyatt acquisition and now was part of UVC. We were told more than once with certainty that our 300,000 Hyatt points earned would be Hyatt base points to earn lifetime globalist membership. Come to find out that is a complete lie, false and con. That is a very large part in our decision to spend money and upgrade.
If anyone knows this woman’s name I would like to have it. I believe it was Natalia. She works as the UVC sales manager at Secrets Moxche. Long hair and in her late 20’s. If so please reply. I am certain she has lied to others.
Claimed loss: 300,000 Hyatt base points

It has been about 3 month and I have received an email from a Mauricio Emmanuel Gomez Flores 3 weeks ago asking to make an appointment to talk. We set that up. The date and time came. I emailed him to see if this call was going to happen and I have never heard anything back. Pretty weird and pathetic way to handle any situation. Nothing has been resolved and nothing has been done at all. This has been a waste of time
I still have not heard back from anyone reguardung this issue
I emailed you as asked and sent all information including another recap of how we got to where we are now which is paying monthly for something that is not what we were sold by the Hyatt representative.
Refund of voucher/coupon
On 11/8/2023 I was offered a coupon for an excursion at a reduced cost for renting a car with America Car rental. I agreed to purchasing the coupon but only received a voucher that stated that I must attend a 90 minute time share presentation in order to receive my coupon. I was not able to attend the presentation they told me do not worry it was refundable and that I needed to email the address on the paper to get my refund. I have emailed them numerous times and never gotten a response. When I call the number it is disconnected. When I call Unlimited Vacation Club directly they state they don't know what the voucher is, who has my money or how to be refunded.
Claimed loss: 2400 MX
Desired outcome: Refund
Emailed as requestedand never heard from them again. That's not resolved

Vacation club membership
Total scam and waste of money. Stay away from this membership and Dreams hotels chain completely. There is no benefit from this membership but a loss. when you price with hotel+air ticket (dont price only the hotel stay separately, always add the air ticket together) , any other travel site beat or match UVC for no upfront cost. Free nights and membership benefits doesnt exist and so many conditions to get so much less. Once you sign up, you cant get out without paying minimum of 50% of contract value. Pressure sales tactics and bogus promises to cheat money out of unsuspecting customers who are in good mood.
Claimed loss: CAD10000
Desired outcome: get total refund of what I was forced to pay

No benefits
We purchased in April 2023 Punta Cana. We have been paying but have not seen the benefits that where promised. Every time we try to book a trip their is barrier. When you call on the phone it is hard to understand the staff. We definitely got taken advantage of. So yesterday we get a call from U lifestyle their affiliate for cruises and resorts. The...
Read full review of Unlimited Vacation ClubHonoring first visit incentives and a signed contract
On Feb 23, 2023 we purchased a Pearl Package at Dreams resort in Huatulco, MX. We were given first visit incentives for 2 premier weeks that were IMMEDIATELY ACCESSIBLE upon signing the contract. We were also given 4 RCI bonus weeks for $299 valid for 2 years. We paid a down payment of $3,875.00USD of the contract and have paid monthly amounts ever since. We were clearly told that we had 2 weeks of premier nights available to us IMMEDIATELY upon signing as an incentive gift to sign there and then (I have this in writing).
7 months later I went to book/use 7 of our premier nights and am told that we have to pay out the remainder of our contract $6500+ if I want to access the 14 premier nights.
I understand how the regular premier nights work on a regular basis. However, these 14 premier nights were given to us to use immediately as stated in our contract. I want UVC to honor their contract and what was promised upon signing. Please see my contract attached.
Desired outcome: I would like a response to my request and to have access to 7 premier nights immediately, as was stated in my contract (provided).

Cancel membership and be reimbursed
We got duped at Dreams Cozumel. I don’t know how much money we have spent in total, but I have yet gotten and “free” anything. We made a huge downpayment, and spend $400 per month for this membership. We also spent $4000 + on Unlimited Lifestyle, and another $2000 + for RCI crap. We have been promised everything from free resort weeks, free cruises, free airfare, free car rentals, etc. However, when trying to use any of these things we were not allowed because of the time of the year, or we have to pay fees as our free week is only the “base” amount, and the fees end up costing as much as if I booked not using my “free” week. The rates continue to go up for no reason. I am out over $10,000, and have got nothing for it. And now the free weeks I was guaranteed are not available till I pay in full, or upgrade to the next level which costs more money. I am so beyond done. I want to sue the rntire corporation and every individual that works there plus all the resorts.

False perks
My Fiance and I purchased our UVC member at Dreams Macao, DR in January 2023, however I feel like we were scammed. Andre from Dream Macao told us we would be given preferred status with each of our stays. We purchased the membership because we will be getting married in DR and want to be able to provide the best prices, room upgrades and experiences a...

Back in January myself and a friend went to Dreams in Cabo. We were approached by a gentleman stating he would give us $300 in resort credit to use for the spa and discount excursions if we go to a 90 min presentation. We agree to go the next day and then the nightmare begins. The pressure was on and the drinks were flowing. Since it was just the two of u...

I have been a member of Unlimited Vacation Club for several years and have hosted and traveled to several countrys. We went with 3 other couples to Cobo and were treated very well. We have been to 2 other resorts and felt treated very well. We brought another couple to this resort in Sint Maarten and had our trip crushed. From check in to check out I could begin to tell you that this is not a Secrets. Most of the resturants were not open, the food left much to be desired - when you had a problem with door locks ect. I took a miracle to get something fixed. It was not a pleasant experiance that we had at other Secrets - no app for anything and they were mostly rude. Sorry for the bad review but this vacation was a bust. I am not happy.
Desired outcome: A new destination for both us and the party we paid for - MD1-000769
Well - complained and they still have not tried to make it right - I guess we will have to step it up to the next level - getting ahold of credit card company and reversing the charges. Thanks
Vacation package
We were scammed into this time share in disguise soon after arriving at the airport in Costa Rica. Unfortunately, we did not do our due diligence and read the reviews but instead got tricked into purchasing one of their expensive timeshare/vacation packages by their high pressure salesmen who deceptively said we could cancel anytime but neglected to mention...

My husband and I signed a contract on August 3,2022 while on vacation in Jamaica at Breathless Resort not knowing we were being scammed, and we canceled on August 6,2022 per the 5 day cancellation policy in the contract. We paid this company $22,000 in full after a presentation full of lies, misleading information about the company and more. We wasted 4...

During my visit last August to Secrets Riveria Maya, I was coerced into signing a 5-year contract for a vacation club under the influence. I had my daughter with me. who is a minor and the fast-talking salespeople promised me a deluxe suite and other massive discounts that would pay for itself within the five years. They charged me $900 and $176 per month afterwards. I am a single parent and suffer from medical impairments. I can't continue paying the membership, I tried talking to the company without success. I can't use the membership and the fees are piling up. I have not made any payments this month and won't be able to. I need to speak to someone to end this nightmare. I have four years left on this membership and I hope that we can terminate the contract because I am not in a financial position to pay for false promises. Please help!
Desired outcome: Terminate the remaining 4 years of the contract.

In March 2022 while vacationing at breathless, I was approached to join a sales conference where alcohol and other gifts were provided while listening to the sales pitch. I was the sold on this so called advantageous program that would afford me in essence so little.
The cost was 9200 USD and I made a down payment 2300 and then was being charged about 250$ per month at 9percent interest rate.
I called to cancel considering I never used it because ultimately it affords very little value. However, to cancel I would need to pay 4600 us dollars dollars, half of the total amoubt, despite not having used it ever. Or I could transfer it (no one wants it) or they will lower my interest rate, stop the payment till January and offer me a couple nights free.
I would instead like to have at least half my money back
Desired outcome: I would like to have half of the money back that I paid so far roughly 4400. Therefore 2200.

Misrepresentation and lies
My family and I vacationed at Secrets in Puerto Vallarta this past June (2023) and attended the sales meeting. Carla and Rodrigo were very charming and did their jobs well. I was over charged on the initial contract. Oscar said he would charge $25 per month on my AMR account only to find he had been charging and double charging the account for months, times $77 ×2 per month. As well as my husband's account. When I discovered it, I called and his way of covering it up was more lies made to deceive me out of even more funds. The number of caused a last minute interruption in Vacation plans be cut short and cancellation of my husband's birthday celebration on his birthday by children and grandchildren who had traveled from Washington DC area to Saint Petersburg Florida. I never said Orlando from my mouth nor knowing agreed with Orlando statements. This is a technical whitewash on your company's part that has inserted technical yeses where there were none by the customer. I would *** never recommend such to anyone and will seek legal ramifications. Seeing his lying cost almost one thousand dollars out of pocket expenses after lying to cover-up his inability to fulfill his promises. Afterwards in the cancellation process Oscar, the customer support agent, and Oscar's management team promised a return of my $209 down-payment in lieu of the breach of contract that would be back in account in7-10 business days, only to be followed up with another lie given to finance by none other than Oscar.
Desired outcome: Return of overage that is above the initial contract monthly amount $25 per month and return of $209 for the 2nd agreement unfulfilled.
