Travelgenio Refund never received by Travelgenio

My name is Andreas van der Hoven qnd I booked a flight through Travelgenio to fly from George Airport to OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa on 1 January 2022.

Due to the redlisting of South Africa, I was unable to travel to South Africa and subsequently had to cancel my ticket. I cancelled my ticket on 16 December 2022. The refund was not processed immediately, which is understandable. The status of my refund however stated that it would take up to 14 weeks for the refund to be approved by the airline. It has now been about 6 months since the ticket was cancelled - well beyond 14 weeks. I paid 170€ for the ticket and I require the money urgently now. I tried contacting Travelgenio through twitter but to no avail. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Travelgenio I didn't received my e-ticket and the airlines says that the booking not confirmed

Hello.

I have booked 2 tickets from Dubai to Dammam by Emirates airline. I paid full amount and I didn't received my e-ticket and the airlines says that the booking not confirmed

Travelgenio flight

I was booked for a roundtrip from seoul, south korea to bangkok, Thailand. My returning flight was rebooked to 1130 arrival time to bangkok without my knowledge. I have tried contacting the company several time but they have not responded to my emails. Also when I call their customer contact number no one picks up. My trips is in a few days and I still have not heard back from anyone.

Travelgenio Booking Reservation [protected]

My name is Mona Chladil and Travelgenio has certainly failed me. On January 6th, 2022 I booked and paid for a through Travelgenio with insurance for a flight from Vancouver, BC, Canada July 18th, via Reykjavic, Iceland eventually landing on 7/20 in Copenhagen, Denmark to catch an 11 day cruise with Princess Cruise Line headed to St. Petersburg, Russia. The Travelgenio Booking Reference number is [protected], the IcelandAir reservation number is 4UEJTE,My return flight would be August 1st out of Copenhagen, Denmark back to Vancouver, Canada with a stop over in Reyjavik, Iceland.

Since then, the war has broken out between Russia and Ukraine when Russia decided in invade Ukraine. The Princess Cruise Line has conscientiously cancelled the cruise to St. Petersburg. However, in trying to change my flight from Copenhagen to Heathrow, London, which IcelandAir flies to, the agents at Travelgenio would not submit a Waiver to change the destination to Heathrow. According to Icelandic Air a waiver is all that would be necessary to re-route my trip to Heathrow versus Copenhagen.

On 4/12 I spent the day going back and forth between Travelgenio agents to IcelandAir. The Travelgenio agents had a difficult time telling me my IcelandAir Resevation number, which I needed to be able to discuss with IcelandAIr my situation. Eventually through several different telephone calls, reasons, explanations, excuses the bottom line came to that IcelandAir would change the flight but the Waiver needs to be initiated by my travel agency, Travelgenio. The agents at Travelgenio said that I would have to get a Waiver from Icelandic Air, they would not write a Waiver, even in light of the War that had broken out.

My complaint? War breaks out and Travelgenio agents, even with purchase of insurance, are impotent to help me get a necessary waiver that the airline requires. Everyone I talked to was pleasant, but would not go the extra step to create a Waiver, even in light of War and purchasing insurance, Travelgenio agents were ineffectual to write a Waiver or to get me to a Supervisor or Manager who would write a Waiver. Although one of the Travelgenio agents said he would escalate, no one returned a call to me.

Travelgenio my bought ticket was changed without my consent

I bought a ticket to Jeddah from Pakistan on the 6th of May. My flight was PIA from Islamabad to Jeddah on the 9th of May. I paid the amount of $660. On the 7th of May I received an email from Travelgenio stating that my ticket was not available and that they have reserved another ticket on the 9th of May but with Etihad Airlines and it was an additional 218 Euros. I paid the 218 Euros and where I was expecting a ticket I received an email stating my ticket was refunded. I was told I would receive my refund in 15 days

I had travel plans. this is a scam and unacceptable.

Travelgenio voucher to replace my flight that was cancel with qantas

Message by travelgenio:" Qantas does not offer a refund option.

If you wish to proceed with cancellation and Voucher (50 EUR fee per passenger) confirm passenger to create the Voucher for, Waiting for your instructions".

Booking Reference: [protected]. NO Tickets were received. One page said said it was confirmed then the next said it has not been confirmed and electronic ticket not sent. I believe this is a scam..

Travelgenio Ticket refund

Dear sirs,

I had planned to make a trip to Ibiza from Athens (going via Barcelona and return via Madrid) for myself, Ioannis Fertakis and my daughter Ntagia-Eleni Fertaki. The details of the trip below.

However the trip from Ibiza to Madrid on May 1st was re-scheduled by Iberia Express (attached email) and it conflicted with the trip from Madrid to Athens on that day (May 1st).

So, I had to cancel the trip.

I’ve been contacting Iberia the last month many times for having my trip refunded. Today they told me that I have to contact you for my money refund (1399 €), for which I kindly ask you to do so (crediting accordingly my debit card that I did for my tickets purchase).

I have booked a ticket from Dubai to Lahore and back with ticket number [protected] on Emirates Airline. I want to change date of travelling. I have emailed around 6 times so far to your Customer Services but no response. My booked flight is less than 48 hrs now but i want to change date. I talked to Airline but they refused to change date and asked me to contact you. Despite repeated emails there is no response. Kindly help and sort out my issue.

Travelgenio Tickets on e-mail

I bought a ticket (Bodø to Bergen May 15) on May 2. Booking no. [protected] Ticket has nortbeen recieved yet (even in spam) and I need it as soon as possible for a set of documents. I have written to the customer service e-mail and filled in the form. Since I need the ticket urgently, I have to repeat my request.

Travelgenio Charged for flight but no record locator number came through

Booked a flight on May 2, 2022 to fly the next day May 3,2022 from POM to WWK leaving at 7:00 AM on Air Niugini PX 120

Received a booking number [protected] but no record locator number came through. On Air Niugini a person can only check-in with a record locator number.

Even, when using the tab MyTrips on the Travelgenio website five times over the period of five hours I would receive the following email. Which would indicate the website is dysfunctional and also doesn't allow cancellation of flights. It seems that Travelgenio is taking the money for themselves.

During booking the flight on May 1st 2022 I have entered wrong email. Because of that I didn't receive my ticket details.

Travelgenio Surplus charge on My Credit Card (Air tickets)

Dear Travelgenio:

"The payment of the ticket has been completed through the American Express card ending in 8356."

I purchased airline tickets via Travelgenio, as I was directed to it by Sky Scanner, when I purchased the tickets, I agreed to pay ~ 14000 MYR, but when I checked my credit card this afternoon, Travelgenio has charged me 15,950 MYR.

I would like for you to refund me the additional amount.

Travelgenio My flight was involuntary changed. I sent an email to your customer support team is no reply over 30 hours.

I received the notification about the transit flight was changed on 27/4. I reply to www.checkmytrip.com under your email. I wrote to you I can’t accept the change and requested to change other airline if Turkish Airlines not available to me at that day (2/5). However, I got a confirmation notice for the flight change. Then I sent an emailed to your customer support to cancel such confirmation and requested to reconfirm my itinerary remains unchanged on 2/5. Because I found the flights (#:TK1760 & transit # TK83) is still available for booking in your websites. I got non of reply over 30 hours, and no more time already. Travelgenio Change of trip

I purchased a ticket on your site and all I wanted to do was to change the date of the ticket. June 7-June 14th to August 8-August 15th. I am not asking for a refund but a simple change of the ticket. I have called your company five times and your representatives are not helpful at all. They have put me on hold for up to 20 minutes only to then come back on the phone and then connect me to a survey. This is unacceptable. I am reading these complaints and I am not surprised because the customer service with you all is horrible. I called British Airways and they said that you all could change the date of the ticket and all you had to was to call the British Airways Trade Support Desk to make the change but no one at your company seems to know this process. This is unacceptable. Please respond to this complaint immedialty. My confirmation number is [protected]. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com.

I called back again today 5/1/22 and both times your representatives either hung up on me when I told them I was calling regarding a complaint or was put on hold. What kind of customer service is this? All I am trying to do is respond to your email and your organization states that I can change my flight. But it doesn't seem like anyone wants to help.

Travelgenio Travelgenio betray trust of the customer

I bought the ticket to head to Sao Paulo on April 10. And I purchased Enhanced Refundable Terms to make sure if there is a problem then I can get a refund by paying 100$ more. Travelgenio posted a non-refundable ticket from the airline without any note that it is a non-refundable one. And when I called and asked them for a refund because of my medical and internship problem, they said a refund is not about them, it's about the insurance company they work with so they can't do anything by just repeating saying sorry. Insurance company said that since it's not an emergency situation, they can't refund. But Travelgenio didn't inform anything related to that. All I read was travelgenio can fully refund it within 3 business day. When I first time called them and asked for refund, they said they can help to do that. But it didn't happened. I spent almost 1000$ and now I can't receive any money related to that. I asked why you guys sell non-refundable ticket without notice to the customer and promote another option for getting full refund within 3 days, they just keep saying they can't help because it's a scope of insurance company and not related to them. If it was the refundable ticket, they should inform the customer first and not selling promotion of getting fully refund as well. I called and sent message several times, now I'm tired of it. Travelgenio broken trust with customer. Even they said that it's an insurance company they work with, they even don't have any system to connect with the company they work with. Once something went wrong, it's all customer's fault without any compensation.
