Sonic Drive-In Food

We ordered a double stack cheeseburger and it was so slimy that it was unrecognizable. The bun was falling off and the burger was burnt. There was way too much mayonnaise and was so salty. My son's plain cheeseburger was slathered with mustard pickles and ketchup so he went without dinner. My husband's cheeseburger was burnt and messy too. We have not usually had bad service there but we were starving. I wish we could be refunded or we may not go back.

Sonic Drive-In Food was not edible

Ordered Pork Tenderloin sandwich, French fries and a medium size Dr. Pepper. I was going to eat on the road, so as soon as I got my food I drove off, then started getting it out of the bag. The French fries when you looked at them you could tell that they were terribly greasy, it was almost dripping out of them, I took one bite and immediately new I couldn't eat them without getting sick, they were very greasy and it tasted like very old grease that they had been cooked in. I then got the sandwich out to eat and it was the same way greasy and had a terribly old greasy taste to it. I took one bite out of it and put it back in the bag. Could not eat it either, I did drink the soda, it was fine.

I will never go to that sonic in Cabool, mo again. Sonic is one of my favorite drive in's, but will NEVER go to the one in Cabool, MO again.

I was in stall #11 on 02/20/2020, the food was terrible, will never eat there again.

Sonic Drive-In parking lot

The carhops are excellent in friendliness and promptness of orders. No complaints of any persons. I enjoy going to Sonic, especially this one every other day when I go to work or leave work. However, the parking lot is a disgrace. Some people won't mind but I take good care of my car and the holes/ craters are not where I choose to drive. It has been that way for quite some time, just getting worse. Thank you for hearing my complaint. I hope something could be done to fill in the holes.

Sonic Drive-In Food/Services

Today (3/1/20) I ordered the chicken tender meal an waited about 30 mins until I got to the window to pay. Once at the window I waited 10 more mins to pay. The lady at the window asked me if I wanted to wait for the strawberry lemonade to be made, I said sure and she handed me my food, the food was cold. After waiting 15 mins I went inside just to recieve my drink. The service should not be that long just to recieve one order.

Sonic Drive-In Service

My wife and I ordered $15.00 worth of food around 10:25am on February 29th. We waited at least 10 minutes for our order when we saw the screen said Nikki is on her way with the order. So we waited another 2 minutes and when I hit the call button and asked if someone else got our order the child on the speaker screamed through the speaker that it will be right there. I'm 52 years old and don't need a child screaming at me. That really pissed me off. So I left without our order. I will pass the word to not eat at sonic any more as I am also done with yall. Your young employees need to be trained on customer satisfaction because she ruined it for me.

Sonic Drive-In Customer service

I drove up to this Sonic location at 10:59PM. Their website says their hours are 6AM-12AM, so I figured they'd be open another hour. When I pull in, all the lights on the screens turn off. I pushed the red button and the lady told me "sorry we're closing for the night." I suggested that maybe they "should update their website." She told me that was "out of their control." As I pulled out, I heard her yell in the speaker "Have a nice night, b****!"

I thought that response was uncalled for and highly unprofessional. I work in fast food and would have been written up for ever thinking of talking to a customer like that. Especially over something like business hours which seems like a very reasonable concern.

Please talk to your employees. I should never have to leave a place of business feeling attacked and still confused. The world needs more KIND people.

Sonic Drive-In Hamburger/Tater Tots

I called in...I wanted a fresh hamburger and tots. My reason for calling and specifically asking...is to have my item's made HOT and FRESH! My husband would pick up/3mins away. Would wait if need be. I have had a bad experience with this Sonic before about their food. Hadn't went their in quite a while because of it. I thought I would give it another try. Well, this will be my last! My hamburger was all wrong and COLD. My tatortots were COLD too. So, so disappointed!

Sonic Drive-In Receipts withheld & employee survey fraud

As I wrote in my last survey, sometimes employees do not give out receipts with completed orders. Last time I insisted on receiving my receipt, I saw it was one with a survey ID on the bottom. I recently used my code for the free route 44, only to be handed another receipt. I told the employee that this was not mine, but she assured me that it was the practice at that location to give the survey receipts to their "Regulars." I came on 2-25-2020 at 1:20PM. The receipt I was given was dated 2-19-2020 2:57PM. The employees at this location are causing deliberate fraud by withholding receipts from some customers and giving them to people that did not purchase said items. My guess as to why this is happening, is that the "Regulars" are giving high praise surveys in favor of these fraudulent employees.

Sonic Drive-In Management very rude

John and I went tonight to grab our usual milkshake. To start with it was hard to understand the drive-thru worker ( English not very well ), it had to be repeated many times just to have him say, what was that again in a very rude tone again or repeat it wrong. Then he was frustrated with John trying to correct him to get it right. He interrupted more than once & at this point, I spoke up & asked to speak with management. His response " I am manager ". At that very point we both knew it was all useless and we drove away & went to a different ice cream place. I did say I would report this over his head. Now, this is a small town ( kinda like Mayberry ). There is absolutely no reason or excuse for this rudeness. There is also no reason in America for us to have to learn to speak their language in order to get service. Something needs done. We will not eat there anymore until something is done & we will advise our family & friends to do the same. This was simply avoidable period. Good food/ very poor service !

Sonic Drive-In associate unsanitary while servicing me

I visited this Sonic on Monday February 17, 2020 when looking through the glass window as I waited to get a cup of ice observed the associate stick his hands into the cup of ice, throw the ice into the air and catch it in his mouth. He then proceeded to dig his hands into the cup again and chunck ice at another associate. The associate then slapped a lid on the cup of ice and sat it up there to be servered to me. As I watched the car hop pick up that same cup of ice and attempt to serve it to me. I sent her back and asked for a manager and she complied. But the manager just threw the cup ice away and brought another cup of ice out. When he went back inside I could physicaly see him and the associate that had did this smilling about what he had done. I do intend on contacting the health department beccause that is very nasty and unsanitary. There's one thing I do not play is with people playing silly games with what I have to eat.

Sonic Drive-In Cannot purchase cheddar bites through the sonic app

I am writing this complaint because I cannot purchase cheddar bites through the sonic app. It would be more convenient to order my half priced drinks and my cheddar bites all at once, instead of ordering through the app and then order again when I arrive at sonic. Please resolve this issue!

Sonic Drive-In The way a manager is talked about and treated

I work at speedway next and am so upset that a co worker can come in here and down talk someone. It seems that the store manager james thinks it's okay to trash an asst to other workers. When this worker came in around 3 she was just being sour about missie the asst manager. Missie is in that store and always standing by james she has been there almost a year I don't know how many times she's worked open to close the whole when he had his baby and than took hos vacation. She never has a bad word to say anything or anybody over there. And yet she's treated like a dog! Just because she has cancer and she's older doesn't mean she doesn't do her job. I don't want to give my name because someone's gonna tell james and i'll be in trouble but someone should get this coworker how loves to trash her I don't wanna start nothing but if she every get a a lawyer against the way she's treated we will stand beside her. An if anybody comes over here to speed way wanting to question who sent this I will make sure that I start the process of helping her to file as lawsuit! So someone get her help

Sonic Drive-In Sloppy burgers

The saddest part about this entire ordeal is that there are alot of people that have very bad things about this sonic. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and look now. My burger had mustard and mayo all over it and the wrapper. I called to return it and when I got to the sonic Toni Minnow (manager) refunded just for the meal. True enough I did forget the water at home but come on! I did take the water back and the rest of the money was refunded. If my burger was edible then I would not have had to return it in the first place. I will not ever eat here again!

Sonic Drive-In Sonic Blast without whip cream

I ordered a chocolate Reese's sonic blast. I received my Blast without any whip cream. The ice cream in the cup looked as though it was half vanilla ice cream, half chocolate. In other words, it was not blended at all. It was the worst one I had ever received from this location.I am thoroughly disappointed. It was 4:00 PM, they were not even busy.

Sonic Drive-In refused to make custom shake

I asked for a banana split shake which is simply created by adding strawberries, chocolate syrup, pineapple topping and crushed nuts to a banana shake.. The staff refused to even try to grant my request, instead just said we don't have that. Great customer service means asking the customer how u can accommodate them in any way possible to give them what they asked for, not being lazy and saying sorry but no.

Sonic Drive-In food and wait times

I've been to this sonic on numerous occasions and i only order enough for myself. Tonight though i ordered a large chili cheese tots with onions, 3 chili/ Frito's jr with onion and a corn dog.
I was asked, after they took my money to move forward to the orange cone and wait for my food.
I waited for over 5 minutes as car after car passed me.
When i finally got my food, no thank you for waiting, nothing.
I was unceremoniously given my lukewarm food and sent along my way.
I get home an none of the wraps looked like they had much chili or fritos, i did however taste lots of onions. So many in fact, i had to throw them away.
The corn dog was hot, but i bought it for my dog. And the tots were cold and i didn't receive a mint.
Just an all around terrible experience.
Will not be returning.

Sonic Drive-In food and wait

On January 17, 2020 at 10 pm I went to the Sonic on Wilmington Pike in Kettering Ohio. I was the second car in the drive thru to order. I ordered the toast cheeseburger, tater tots and a coke. I waited in line 11 minutes after my order was taken. Once I received my food, I drove home which is 3 minutes from this location. My food was cold to the point that the cheese on my sandwich wasn't melted at all and cold to the touch.

What is disappointing is this was the first time I had ever ate at Sonic. It's very rare that I ever eat fast food and only stopped there because of my work schedule that day and not eating all day. Thinking I'd try it for the first time and the convenience turned out to be terrible.

I drive by this location everyday and notice there are hardly ever any cars there. Now I know why!

Sonic Drive-In hamburger buns

Every time I order a burger from Sonic the buns are HARD. I end up throwing them away and just eating the meat, cheese & veggies. It seems a waste of money to order something and not be able to eat it. I guess I can just stop going to Sonic (along with the girls in our office). I know just the 4 of us will not make much of a difference but I can always put bad reviews on Facebook and you know how that will spread.
