l went to buy fabric febreeze at your store and it had gone up to almost 10 dollars...l usually pay around 5.99 and sometimes on sale for 3.99...of course l was not buying it for 10 dollars l left went to another store in my town and got it for 5.79 same exact one your store had for 10 exactly same size too...and your tooth paste goes from almost 9 dollars one week till 4 dollars the week following...why are you gouging your customers...l cannot afford to shop at shoppers anymore ...l am on a senior pension and no l cannot get what l need at senior days with those prices..points mean nothing if the price is too high and many times doubled...l have already taken all of our perscriptions from shoppers and moved to another pharmacy not related with shoppers because of issues...your prices are shameful...l cannot afford you anymore sadly

I found my eye very uncomfortable and I could see I got a bump on my lower eyelid. It was an emergency situation so I immediately went to shoppers and looked forward to some help from pharmacy. However, the worker was so rude and impatient and I felt very disrespected. She did't even listen to me and kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain. It was an awful and frustrating experience and I really do think this is a serious problem!

I visited the pharmacy on 10835 City Parkway, Unit 101, Surrey BC V3T 0L2 for an antibiotic prescription on Friday, October 13th around 7pm. The pharmacist decided to take her 20 min break after I had already completed the assessment form. Upon her return at 7:30pm, she was completing the assessment, asking if I have a wide range of illnesses using MEDICAL TERMS. I explained I do not understand the terms, and she laughed saying if I don't know the term, I probably don't have it. I did confirm I am anemic and expected her to make note of it.

I have been taking the prescribed antibiotics for 3 days now and for the past 3 days I have felt extremely down. I have even made a therapy session appointment - that is how extreme it got. This morning I couldn't handle it anymore. It was affecting all areas of my life. Then finally I realized the only change in the past few days WAS THE ANTIBIOTICS. I googled symptoms and low and behold, people with ANEMIA have a higher risk of the 'RARE' side effects! Depression, chronic pulmonary reactions, confusion, psychotic reactions, and other side effects affecting CARDIVASCULAR, RESPIRATORY, MUSKULOSKELETAL, DERMATOLOGIC, HEMATOLOGIC, OCULAR, NERVOUS SYSTEM. There is a long list of long term effects as well!

ABSOLUTELY. UNACCEPTABLE. Currently waiting at the ER to be fully assessed.

These pharmacists need MORE ACCOUNTABILITY.

Oct 14 , 2023, Employee name - Surbhi. At 6:59 pm we called The store to inquire about the availability of enfamil baby formula A+ 2. The employee(Surbhi) confirmed 4 boxes in stock. when we arrived at 7:20 ish there were none. The same person who answered my call refused to take responsibility of her action by saying if they are not on shelf then we dont have them. We drove 21 km for nothing . It is so frustrating that the employee gave wrong information/ without checking instore stock And didnt even apologize.

The manager simply said we do not return the gift cards you should scratch them carefully call the office, in other words my hundred dollars is robbed.

Please let me know if this answer constitutes Robbery in a most refundable western civilization giving customer the benefit of the doubt. This answer is like hitting someone in the head "Verbal Assault".

Oct 1, 2023 I was told at by local pharmacy that the shoppers drug mart blood glucose log books are no longer being printed and distributed through the pharmacies. I just got off the phone with a customer service rep who was unable to answer this question. She told me to call another pharmacy and ask if they have it.

The log book is a useful tool that helps me track ,not only glucose levels but what was eaten, what carb factor I used, whether or not I needed a snack or a rescue glucose source during exercise or during the night. I may have a similar meal in the future and it's easy to check back to my previous meal and see the carb factor I used and what my glucose reading was at the following meal. Going forward this helps me determine a more accurate insulin dose now and in the future. I also use it to track my insulin dosage locations, helping to manage my injection rotation.

on august 23 at 1130pm i purchased bananas chocolate sause and ice cream and i asked for a person to check me out instead of the automatic teller because i was also purchesing a 500 dallar visa joker because i dont have any trust in online shopping with my bank card///or my bank. finally on the 29th ofaugust i went to pay my phone bill on line so i tried to register the visa joker card and the balance was at 69 dallars and i had not touched it since i purchased the card a few days before. i immediately walked back up to the store to see if they could explain to me how this happened i got no help other then they gave me the info for the complaint department. when i got home i did some searching and found out the card was activated in brampton at a presidents choice. the only person that had access to the cards info would be your employees and myself i bought the card with cash in oshawa and have never been to brampton there were two other transactions on the card on the 23rd where it was activated in bramton presidents choice ci500,oo...on the 24 35831 taken then141 taken on 25 which left 69 cents on the card... i talked to the people at visa and they sent me to you now i figure your going to send me back there and im afraid noone is going to help me get my money back. i cant afford to loose 500 as im on disability and im just getting buy as it is and why i trusted your store in the first place , i was actually the winner of the million points and i shop there everynight until now the store is on king st west in oshawa ontario thank you for your time

Good day I want draw your attention towards this issue yesterday at 7.25 pm I visited your pembina highway winnipeg manitoba branch r3i2h6 canada I needed to recharge my chater mobile connection I requested cashier she showed me cards I picked two cards one is 10 dollars and other one is 25 dollars before buying the card I told her several times that I am looking to recharge my chater connection the card she activated was public mobile instead of chater mobile when I tried to put pin it was not activating/validating my sim I checked throughly then I realise she gave me wrong card I paid 28 dollars for this I went back and told her that I was looking chater load not the public moblie load I requested her to give the chater load and cancel this she did not cancel the transaction the transation receipt number is 999020532102007459595 please

Store at 1 Water St.in Cornwall, Ontario = since new owner and staff, very poor and unpredictable service. No longer trust them to dispense meds due to my personal experience. I also witnessed a lady complaining because her blister pack was NOT initialed by the pharmacist AND she was missing a medication. We depend on blister packs so this affects us directly - our health, our LIVES! One staff member in particular has no idea what she is doing, has no customer service skills and has no business serving public in a capacity that affects our wellbeing and our lives. During my quest to find a new pharmacy, I visited many and I spoke with one pharmacist who says that the pharmacist at Water St. is calling people, soliciting, to switch over to his pharmacy which is obviously illegal. I am not accusing, but this information coming from a professional who has no vested interest in saying so, concerns me and someone needs to investigate this. I switched over to the store on Second St. This was even WORSE! The staff have absolutely no idea what they are doing. It is like watching a bunch of clowns at work. We can't trust them either. Also, the online ordering app is not working and cannot be trusted. The only input I got from the pharmacist was "well I didn't design this app" and said not to use it, but to phone in instead. Even tho the new pharmacy could see my scripts on her computer, the online app still showed my scripts remaining at the old store, so I could not order online. Before the transfer could even be completed I switched from Shopper's completely to another pharmacy. I tried to contact Shoppers via email to discuss my complaints, but they make it very difficult to navigate so I am sure most people would just give up. I was not interested in phoning them - I wanted an email address. If you click on their "contact us" tab, it only gives a phone number - no email address.

Purchased a Joker VISA card at Shoppers Drug Mart Scarborough Town Center as gift for my wife's birthday. Attempted to use it on Aug. 14 for the first time. It was still in the original packaging, She opened the packaging and tried to charge the purchase. It was declined. We did not activate the card. After multiple attempts to activate, we were unable to activate.

After numerous customer service calls (4 different numbers) we discovered the card was activated at the store on April 20th then used fraudulently in 2 transactions, 1 for $1.04 (May 1), the 2nd (May 2) for $198. This is obviously fraud.

We never expected fraud as I purchased at a reputable company.

The expiry is in 2026, so we assumed we had a lot time time to use it.

I called customer service, the first dispute representative basically informed me of a 60 day policy and that I was out of luck. Then when I kept questioning, he hung up on me. Call was Aug.15 around 11:00am.

Regarding 60 days of purchase policy, we being the card holders did not make any purchases therefore hopefully the policy does not apply.

The purchases were fraudulent and obviously we were not aware of that.

I assumed buying a gift card at Shopper's I shouldn't have anything to worry about and something like this would never happen.

I called back, the second dispute rep was excellent. He understood I was upset and he was very professional, helpful and filed a case.

Hopefully a full refund will be provided.

Hello, this evening my mother and I went to a shoppers Drug Mart in Yonge & King in the York region. I asked one of the staff to help me out and see the back if they had more eggs. However, he was very rude and reluctant to help us and he kept following us in the store. So I decided not to shop from their store because of his mistreatment and went to another shoppers drug mart close to my place and to my surprise the staff from the previous store without our permission took our pictures and sent to the second store we went and the manager of the store was following us in the store and in front of other customers humiliated us of stealing and despite t showing him our purse he kept humiliating us and yelling in front of everyone else that he has our pictures. This was my first time ever that someone mistreated me like this and I am a lawyer in California and my mother was almost peeing in her pants due to her medical conditions. I need someone to take some actions to resolve this issue otherwise I will take legal action against these two stores for harassment and mistreatments.

The name of the manager in the second store who was yelling and humiliating us in front of other customers was Cleber and he kept yelling that he was the store manager and he had our pictures. I did not quite understand what he meant by having our pictures without our permission. This is so ridiculous and this disgusting and shameful what kind of society we are living in nowadays.

This is the second time I am a senior and I went to 2 shoppers drug mart on Bathurst and College and College and Shaw for items advertise for 2 days special I went early Saturday and they did not have the tissue I have a bad knee very painful to walk why they not having the item they advertised that is false. I am very disappointed in Shoppers I don’t have a car so I have to walk about 2 and. 1/2 blocks very painful for me please advise your store managers to stock up on the advertised item or do not put it as sale very bad.

Today I was treated like a street drug addict while trying to pick up medication for my father who is dying of bone cancer. And not for the first time... The Pharmacist name is Kelli. She is a young blond woman on a power trip who refused to give me what was prescribed. She told me and I quote, "You telling me what I should do for you isn't how I do things". Clearly waving what little bit of power she had so she could feel like a god while my father sat at home dying in pain. "I'm sure it tough but I'm only going to do what I'm going to do..." With that I left and moved all my prescriptions elsewhere along with the rest of my family. Pretty much every time I've been in this Store I have been treated the same by this person. She shouldn't even have her license to be a pharmacist let alone allowed to serve customers. She somehow thinks she outranks the doctors that actually do their Job. She should be fired. She is no doubt costing you thousands of dollars.

I’m writing to complain about workplace harassment in store #669 (Cambrian Mall - Sault Ste. Marie, ON). Bullying and harassment has come from both the Manager Dave, and employees Deanna, and Aldeen. I have worked at Shoppers Drug Mart for 4 months and have never, until working at Store #669, have I been told I’m too happy, too perky, and taking too long with customers when I’m helping them out in store.

The bullying began 4 weeks into my employment by being called into the Office by Dave (Manager) after Head Office told Dave I was a great employee and a “keeper “. This meeting was very intimidating with Dave telling me I’m too happy, spending too much time with customers when helping them out, and I was horrible on cash, which my tills always balanced out, I got tons of compliments from customers that I was very helpful, cheery, and that I always put customers in a good mood. I was pulled from cash and put into merchandising.

From there I became harassed by Deanna, a co-worker who insulted me, put me down to customers and told customers I wasn’t “smart enough to run a computer” and that’s why I am in merchandising, that I was “too lazy to check in the back to see if items were in overstock”, and who continued to belittle me, insult me, and bark orders at me. As my time progressed at work so did the bullying get worse.

Deanna appeared to make it her mission to pick fully on me by constantly paging me (by first name) over the intercom so I couldn’t complete my work and she had me running for things for herself and for customers for over 2 hours consecutively as I was trying to restock the butter which sat on a cart out of the cold for over 2 hours thanks to being picked on by Deanna when we had other merchandisers in the store working at the same time but Deanna singled me out. This became habit in the store of Deanna only calling on me and not other merchandisers. Deanna’s insults and negative comments became worse as time progressed. All of this was witnessed by co-workers Jonah, Molly (who’s new to the Shopper’s Team), CC Tracy King, and Assistant Manager Tracy Bush.

Dave, SD Manager, became worse. The insane complaints became more personal. This last meeting that took place a few days ago Dave made personal by blaming my complaints against Deanna’s bullying and Aldeen’s behaviour towards me of yelling at me in front of customers and snatching things out of my hands while degrading me and calling me “Stupid”, again in front of customers, and again with co-workers as witnesses. Dave blamed it in my home life and how things “weren’t good at your (my) home”. Dave knows nothing about my home life because I don’t talk about my home life to him or anyone at the store. After all, my personal/home life has nothing to do with work. My home life is exceptionally excellent. My girls are older with their own jobs and we all get along swimmingly.

I can’t believe this……I was at Sobeys today in Dartmouth and purchased a 2kg jar of Kraft smooth light Peanut butter for $11,99. A few weeks I purchased a 1kg jar of same product at Shoppers Drug mart and paid $11.99. I questioned this. And was told it was priced correctly. This is not right and I wish I had saved the receipt.I checked other stores prices and the highest price was $7.00. Why is Shoppers robbing us consumers. Are they allowed to price this product whatever they want to…does not feel right.
