I have been a customer of shoppers drug mart Rossland square oshawa for about ten years. The pharmacy staff used to be so good at filling prescriptions. New owners have taken over and it went downhill immediately. I ordered my prescriptions online on a Sunday. The recorded voice said it would be ready on Tuesday after 1 p.m. went to pick it up at 2p.m. still not ready. they never answer the phone. I am in the process of changing drug stores and I can tell you it will not be a shoppers drug mart. This store has seriously harmed the reputation of shoppers drug mart. I will tell anyone who is thinking of going to shoppers to really consider another pharmacy. So sad this had to happen. And when you go to pick up your prescriptions it is like you are invisible
Desired outcome: As I won't ever go to this place again hopefully it will be addressed for future customers
It is not only at Rossland Square Oshawa where the customer service is terrible but also at Lyndock Street in Corunna, Ontario.
I called my husbands' eye drop prescriptions into the store on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. I advised them that we would pick them up on Friday, February 17, 2023. That is 2 days to get them ready,
We went into Shoppers on Lyndock Street in Corunna in the afternoon of February 17, 2023 to learn that the eye drops were not ready.
To make matters worse, I overheard one of the behind the counter persons say out loud that it had been very busy due to the holiday on the Monday; and she just couldn't slap a label on the drops and give them out. So I said out loud so most of the store could hear "Maybe you should call in more help if you are that far behind."
This is not the first issue we have had with this Shoppers. Why do we stay? It is the only Pharmacy in Corunna that is open on the weekend.
