PSI Services – Terrible company

Upon scheduling my online proctored exam, I was sent an email with additional information and requirements. I wanted to see the specific requirements for the type of ID I would need, so I read through the email carefully, which told me to refer to the "candidate handbook" for additional information. However, there was no link to the handbook, and no handbook attached to the email. I then searched their website for a candidate handbook, and was only able to find an FAQ area, which didn't have the detailed information I was hoping to find. So I called to ask for a copy of the handbook, and what was sent to me was the same list of FAQs I found online with little detail. However, without seeing anything that indicated my ID would not be allowed, I thought it would be allowed. But, come testing day I was not allowed to test because I had a temporary ID, even though none of the information given to me prior to testing told me it wouldn't be allowed. When I called to ask for a refund of my exam fee, I was told I should have read the candidate handbook and they wouldn't refund my exam fee. I again asked for a copy of it, and explained my prior attempts to get it, but they also couldn't provide me a copy, and wouldn't tell me exactly what the handbook says that specifically prohibits the use of a temporary ID. It's like they were coming up with the rules as they went and just wanted to take my money without allowing me to test. I rescheduled the test to be taken at a testing site instead, and the person there had zero problem accepting my temporary ID... thankfully I passed on my first try so I don't have to deal with these people again. I have made a complaint to my state board, urging them to not use this company, and they indicated they have had multiple complaints.
