I've been with NSHSS since my sophomore year of high school and became a Global Ambassador not too long ago, and I've enjoyed every part of the journey I've taken with NSHSS. As a high school senior I need all the help I can get when it comes to college applications and my future, and NSHSS has provided that support; from scholarships, to networking opportunities, to virtual career/college fair, and even free webinars/classes. I 100% recommend joining NSHSS, you will not be disappointed!

I have been apart of NSHSS for two years now, and I recently became an ambassador! I have had a great experience with NSHSS! Through the program I have gotten the opportunity to apply for multiple scholarships, do social media takeovers, talk to the NSHSS sponsors, and I have met so many incredible students from around the world! I have also been able to join countless webinars, such as an interview with the director of the Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma! I highly recommend joining NSHSS!

NSHSS provides students with countless resources and opportunities to succeed both in school and beyond with webinars, scholarships, study abroad programs and more. As an NSHSS Ambassador I've been able to network with like-minded students who are set on creating a future for themselves, and also interact with some of NSHSS's adult donors and partners. I recently became an NSHSS ambassador after being a member for about a year. The webinars and academic benefits they offer (for example, scholarships) are just some of the many things this wonderful society has to offer. I'm able to connect with hundreds of like-minded students like me, and I'm able to gain newfound knowledge about my college journey. I strongly suggest that any student, whether they be in high school or college, join this organization so they can be exposed to the opportunities NSHSS has to offer.

NSHSS helped me on my journey towards becoming a student at the #1 public university in the world, UC Berkeley. I have been a member of NSHSS since high school, and I am the current Student Council Executive Board Vice President of Member Events. I was awarded a $1,000 NSHSS scholarship in STEM Innovation in Artificial Intelligence/Robotics. I continuously receive access to webinars and networking opportunities through NSHSS's many partners. There are many lifelong benefits that NSHSS has to offer once you become a member.

Being apart of NSHSS has brought so much positive motivations for me and others involved. Their support of career findings, scholarships, and more opportunity growth has allowed me to accomplish so much. I had the chance to work with individuals from all across the world with outstanding achievements, which gives me the encouragement to ind my own voice in my passions. NSHSS is one of the best organizations, I have ever joined and I truly do not regret it. As an ambassador of NSHSS, I was able to lead my community by using NSHSS resources.

National Society of High School Scholars is an awesome organization with a wealth of tools and resources for students future success! If you are a hard working or dedicated student NSHSS recruits from a diverse range of students to offer opportunity. I am currently an ambassador and I learn so much and get to help others with success in their future goals which I am very passionate about! I hope to become even more engaged with events and initiatives as I come to the future of being in this organization through my time in college and career!

Joining NSHSS has been one if the best decisions I've made this year. It's amazing to be connected with so many people that want to succeed and help each other grow. We are all able to shamelessly ask for advice and help with different topics. The facilitators are so kind and it is clear that they want the best for us. I'm very excited for the future endeavors that I will be apart of. If you are ever looking for a group of people that want to futher their education and that support each other, you need to join NSHSS! The opportunities you will encounter will be life changing!

NSHSS has been nothing but a positive impact in my life. It has allowed me to connect with other like-minded peers who are all very empowering, hard working, and motivated. I love being an ambassador because it has helped me get more involved, establish more connections, as well as improve and develop many skills like leadership. I'm so thankful for all the opportunities and scholarships NSHSS has to offer; especially the immense amount of insight it has given me about college prep. I have benefited so much from NSHSS and I highly recommend joining to those thinking about it !

I absolutely love NSHSS it's such a great way to meet new people that are just EXTREMELY talented and intelligent and with the small payment of $75, you will have access to great webinars, scholarships, events, internships, SAT/ACT practice and more! And if that's not enough just look at how amazing all the people at NSHSS are from members to ambassadors, to students councils, to the administrators, you really are getting a lifetimes worth of experience at NSHSS and they also have amazing opportunities to support ideas and nonprofit organizations that not only support the disadvantaged but have been created by young people.

NSHSS has presented me with so many incredible opportunities for personal growth. It has been a tremendous help in providing me with resources to plan for out my path to college and my future in general. There are so many incredible scholarship opportunities to pay for school, not to mention all of the college fairs and events they hold. Additionally, I even got to learn about how I could work for the CIA in college! It's been an excellent way to connect with other ambitious, like-minded students and learn about new opportunities I wouldn't otherwise know about and I could not be more thankful for all that NSHSS has done for me!

I naively sent a check on 6/14 to NSHSS thinking it was the NHS and called on 6/23 when I noticed my mistake and asked for my money back over the phone. I was told a check would be sent . No check. Called again on 7/7 and spoke to another agent who said it would take 2 weeks from the time i first cancelled it and to call back if I didn't receive it with in the week. No check. Called again this morning and spoke to another agent who told me the check is in the mail but is probably held up due to Covid 19 and I should wait one more week and if no check to call back. They only give a 2 month window to get refunds. Not sure what to do from here.

I have participated in NSHSS for around three years now, serving as not only a member and an ambassador, but as well as apart of the National Student Council. Throughout this time of service I have had the absolute privilege to work with a broad group of individuals across the nation who have provided a great swath of insight that have been useful to my community when implementing volunteering strategies. Due in part to this organization's ability to get youth involved I have become better adept in understanding information pertinent to college and organizational skills. I completely recommend this organization for further participation by other youth across the nation.

NSHSS is amazing! As a member and Ambassador, I can say that it offers a ton of opportunities. There are a lot of very informative and helpful webinars and they let me know when there are any scholarship opportunities. Once, we had a College and Career Fest. I volunteered and it was incredibly fun. I got to talk to other members that I've never talked to before and made new friends. There were also college representatives. We got to talk to a lot of them and got our questions answered, so that was amazing. Not to mention, the other members and Ambassadors are very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, they're like my second family. I really believe that joining NSHSS was the best decision I ever made. Trust me when I say you'll think the same.

As a Student Council member of NSHSS, I have been exposed to the wonderful opportunities NSHSS has to offer. I joined NSHSS in my 11th grade year of high school, and I'm still a member now as a Sophomore at the University of Texas at Dallas. NSHSS has given me many scholarship opportunities, leadership opportunities; there are also great webinars that they provide, and they really helped with my transition between high school and college. I first became an Ambassador of NSHSS during my senior year of college, and I recently applied for the Student Council position and was pleased to hear of my acceptance. I really learned a lot by being in this organization, and it's definitely helped me personally. I am excited for the opportunity to reach out to future NSHSS members and help them on their journeys as well

This company constantly contact my son through emails and letters. My son is in the National Honor Society *** at his school a REAL Organization the problem is this company fake to be *** so I purchase the membership like a Stu-po and shouldve known that *** do not take your money to become a member the student grades is what makes them a member. I realized that this was a scam company once I proceeded with my payment and the link said to sign up for scholarships. When I tried to sign up for the scholarships the links was not available and the deadline has mot past yet. This company got me confused with *** because their Initials is (NSH). When I realize this I asked for my money back for the membership and the items before they shipped out anything but still they tried to be slick and sent it anyway. When I get the items im going to refuse the shipment and sending it right back. Be Extremely careful this is not the National Junior honor Society / National Honor Society. They are wannabes. The National Junior Honor Society/National Honor Society never asked us for a ***! My son grades is what made him a member, not purchasing a membership but me not thinking clear I purchased from this company anyways to get a hoodie and cord. Come to find out *** said the students will be given a cord for free. Its my mistake for thinking that this company is *** from me not reading correctly and jumping the gun cause graduation is around the corner. Stop sending us emails.

I am a high school senior now, but was sent an invitation my junior year. Over the course of about a year I accepted the invitation and have been getting spam emails ever since. I do not recall having a membership or anything, but I just have as I saw I was charged over 300$ over the course of the year. I saw a random 75$ charge on one bank note and others split up. I tried calling but there is no answer.

I want a full refund of $75.00. I just enrolled my son, and within one hour realized this is a scam. There's a number to call, but no answer. I want a full refund.

I need my $75 refund on NSHSS membership fees. Am not interested in your membership any longer. I need my money. I receive a mail from my school, inviting me to join NSHSS. I taught it was the same as NHS just to find out that NSHSS is a scam. I don't want you membership any longer. I need my $75 back.

I would like a full $75 refund for my membership. I would like a full $75 refund. I have confirmed from multiple sources that this is a scam. I have no association with the teacher that was listed in the letter that I received which only adds to the list of things that make this whole this a scam. I have called many times and sent emails and I have yet to receive any form of a response. I accepted my invitation 06/15, it has been 7 days since and I would like a full refund of the $75 membership.

My daughter received a mailing from this organization and wanted to join. She was marketed to and was able to sign up for a service with my credit card with no verification that she was not a minor and had no authorization to use my credit card. I do not want to be a member of this organization. I have requested that the organization refund the unauthorized charge made by a minor. In attempting to contact them, I stayed on a recording for some time before the call was disconnected. This is not heartening for a legitimate organization.

I just recently paid for your membership but now I changed my mind I would like my $75 refund with a receipt since it hasn't been 30 days yet I purchased the membership Jun 22 and I called customer service and told them about how I wanted a refund but the lady didn't even give me a receipt for the "refund" she processed so I'm pretty sure she didn't even process my refund. Please give me back my $75 before the 30 day window. It also has been 3 days since I called and there is no $75 in my account. I ordered some merchandise from nhss and I will be returning that too.

Not approving qualified, full fee waiver application. I timely returned an application for membership in NSHSS which included a full fee waiver application form, accompanied by a letter addressed to my mother stating I was qualified to receive FREE breakfasts and lunches at my high school because my family receives SNAP (food stamp) benefits. Rather than providing a hand written letter that could have come from anyone, I submitted an official document that came from my school district and is verifiable. Today I received an email stating I had been granted a partial fee waiver from $75 to $30. My mother and I are the only ones in my household, she is unemployed and I am an unemployed, full time student. We cannot pay the $30.00 and I already demonstrated to the NSHSS that I qualify for a full fee waiver.

7/6 my daughter and I continuously received emails about accepting the invitation for her to be apart of NSHSS mentioning the high school she attends. Without batting an eye as I was proud of her and she seemed interested I signed her up but both her and I after the fact realized we knew nothing about this and we're a little leery so she decided she didn't want to join but I had already payed the membership fee and a few of the items she was interested in for a total of $155 and I would like a refund on it. To us it seems a little too good to be true although she is very bright and talented student that has achieved a lot, I should have researched it a little more rather than relying on her thinking it was a good idea until I made my final decision. I just please ask for a refund as I jumped the gun on accepting the invitation for her. I really can't afford to lose this $ for my family.

We received an award letter, from The National Society for High School Scholars, for our granddaughter. She is a member of the National Honor Society at her school. The award letter states that NSHSS was the National Honor Society, but has "branched" from this scholastic group, and is a part of being in the National Honor Society. The NSHSS claimed that she was being awarded for her high grades, and even mentioned the school's National Honor Society advisor. We were proud to see her being honored by NSHSS. We paid membership, $75. We purchased clothing for $105. Then, we heard from various students and parents, that ALL students at her school, regardless of grades, received this SCAM. I am embarassed that I believed it. Also, we do not want the clothing or membership to such a FAKE group. Basically, they send these Award letters to any student and claim they are part of the National Honor Society. DISGUSTING! There has been too many complaints about this group...they are givi

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) sent deceptive literature to my daughter. The National Society of High School Scholars sent an invitation to my daughter with her name and the name of her school on both the envelope and the invitation, going to great lengths to make it appear as though it was coming from the legitimate National Honors Society. Due to COVID-19, we are receiving a lot of correspondence in the mail from our school and school system. She read the misleading invitation and cried tears of joy because she has been anxiously awaiting a possible nomination to the National Honor Society. I had to break it to her that unfortunately, it was a scam. I came onto the ComplaintsBoard.com website to research them and sure enough, there were 88 complaints filed against them with similar claims that they are a scam. While their business practices may be legal, they are shameful. I also went onto their facebook page to warn other unsuspecting people who may be tricked by their practices and my post was removed and I was blocked within 5 minutes. Clearly they don't care much about customer service!
