Priceline.com Car rental

September 21,2023

On September 21, my husband and I were in Denver Colorado and we rented a car from price line. We were not told that we could not take the car out of the state and no where on the contract does it state this. we never used the car and had to go pay for another car to use for our vacation. I called for a credit and price line told me that they would not give me a credit ,so I tried to dispute it charge on my end. My credit card company got back with me and told me that the contract does say on it that it has boundaries for there cars they could not issue the credit.

There are no specifics as to what boundaries are specified in their contract. it does not say that you cannot take the car out of the state. The lady at Ace rental car in Denver told us this information when she asked us where we would be traveling too. I was very honest with her and she told us about her policy at Ace rental. So why does price line use this company for vacationers who are traveling out of the state when you call to make the reservation not put you in touch with a rental company that you can take a vehicle out of the state.

I want a refund for the car that we did not use. If you are a reputable company and you rely on repeat customers then I would appreciate a refund in full.

Customers should not have to go through this in all of my years of travel I have never had any restrictions on renting a car and taking out of the state.

Priceline.com Priceline rental cars

We booked a rental car for our trip. When we arrive no one answered the phone so that we could get a shuttle. Contacted Priceline and they said we would have to get a Uber or Taxi to the car rental place. Crazy! Then one we arrived they would not open the door at the rental place, I refused to leave and continured to knock on the glass door where I could see people working. Finially they cracked the door and said we have no cars. I said we had a reservation and they just shruged. I contacted Priceline and they said get another rental car and they would pay the difference, well they do not repsonsed after this initial contact. We had to pay 3 times more for a rental car on our trip which was really over our budget.

Claimed loss: $300

Desired outcome: Refund on the difference between the reservation and the actual payment we incurred

Priceline.com Charged $400 for parking... $80 a night that we knew nothing about when booking your flight, room and car.

We went on our trip from October 17th to the 22nd. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites and Waterpark in Orlando, Florida. We were charged $400 extra for parking to stay there. We knew nothing about this charge. If we had known we would have booked a different hotel.

I have not heard anything from our complaint of excessive charges for parking at our Priceline hotel that we knew nothing about when booking our package for our Orlando trip. Shouldn't I be contacted on what is happening to resolve this situation?

Priceline.com National car rental reservation with priceline

I have been trying to resolve this since March 7, 2023. The only response I have been given is that my reservation was given to another person by the name of Adam Ortiz. I will attach the letter I received from Priceline with Nation Car rentals Response which tells the name of the person they gave my reservation. I was not able to get the reservation due to not having a credit card. When I reserved it on Priceline, I was informed to reserve the car by selecting debit card. This gave me the car rental agency National, and I reserved the car on Priceline, however when I landed and went to pick up the car it was denied due to not having a credit card. I immediately contacted Priceline which is within 24 hours and while at the LAX National car Rental place and the representative contacted the supervisor onsite at LAX and was informed that they refused to rent me the car because I did not have a credit card and they did not accept debit cards. The Priceline representative cancelled my reservation within a few minutes of speaking with manager onsite and before I was placed in the ambulance, however Priceline billed my debit card for a deposit of 313.98 which is what is showing on my bank statement for a card I never picked up and as stated on respond they given to Priceline representative by National car rental on March 22, 202. When a car is picked up, they have to show ID and it must match the reservation and credit card. So, If I picked up the car, they should be able to provide that proof to you and if my reservation was given to another person, they have to provide it to your department and not me to verify it is not my signature on that contract before a car leave out of the parking structure. National does not want to submit any documents showing that I did not pick up the car or sign any contact because it was not me, they gave the car and car reservation to a stranger, but they took my debit card information and billed me and gave a stranger my rental that was denied to me. I want further investigation on this requesting surveillance camera or sign contract because the reservation was cancelled by the Priceline representative before I left the building. So, there should be no dispute about me not receiving my deposit of $313.98 because my reservation was given to someone else while my reservation was cancelled and my card was refunded the rental price while standing onsite the LAX National car rental on March 3, 2023, around 9 pm. So, if my reservation was cancelled, how was I given a car for a reservation that was cancelled and the confirmation number from national [protected] and the person given the car rental are two different rental agreement ([protected] which is what's listed in the letter from a response Priceline representative received from national car rental. They should be able to provide you with that contract to prove it was not me and the reservation was cancelled. Check the time of the pickup and cameras because I have the police report that I was put in an ambulance from the LAX National Car Rental parking lot. This proves again that they gave that person his own reservation and is the reason they don't want to provide the proof. There is no past reservation shown on Priceline for Trip #[protected] for this rental car or any other reservation for a car in March 2023, I supposedly picked up which I did not because it was canceled but on National site, it said details about this reservation cannot be viewed because the rental has been completed. To view your receipt please look up past rental but there's none on the page in my account listed. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Desired outcome: I want my refund of $313.98 and compensation for the stress that led me to be taken by ambulance that night and the continue stress of fighting for my deposit for a car I never picked up since March 7, 2023,

This is the 3rd day since my sister passed away that I have been able to get no where with Priceline concerning changing the dates on my hotel reservation.

The hotel is willing to change dates without penalty and at no difference in costs, they have also tried to reach someone at Priceline!

The hotel manager told me they are extremely difficult and will not give their full names or a number to call back!

Priceline just refuses to do anything!

I have tried to reach Priceline executives but no responses from them!

DO NOT USE PRICELINE!

They just don’t care about their customers!

Priceline.com Modifying hotel dates

I had booked a vacation through Priceline for October 10-17, 2023.

On the night before leaving, my sister passed away.

I called customer service about my flights told to call airline, the airline was very nice and changed our flights to October 23-30, 2023.

Next called Priceline to change dates at resort, its been a nightmare!

I have emails from hotel stating they would change dates!

Priceline needed to send an email requesting date change, the resort has not received any request and numerous Priceline agents have been calling me all giving me different information.

This went on all day after the passing of my sister😢

All I want is to change my reservation to October 23-30, 2023.

Desired outcome: All I want is to change my reservation to October 23-30, 2023

Priceline.com Transfers on trip number [protected]

We are three senior ladiesUpon arrival we followed instructions to Nexus transfers. We booked on priceline and were told Mozio was provider. Mozio sent us to Nexus. We showed our confirmation to Nexus representative and he told us that they showed our reservation on the 25th, the preceeding day. I again provided my confirmation on 24th. We sentvrecript and copy of confirmation to mozio and received acknowledgement. No further communication from them. Priceline said that there was nothing they could do. I reconfirmed with Pblo and his supervisor that they could not/would not require mozio to provide the transfers as sold with package. Additionally, they returned us to the airport but to tge wrong terminal which required a 15 minute walk with pur luggage.

Desired outcome: Refund of taxi cost of 170.00 plus 17.oo tip.Refund of transfer portion of the package. Apology for unprofessional business practices, inability to safely transfer 3 senior ladies.

Priceline.com Unreturned Fees

I booked a flight to Thailand for Qatar Airways. I paid $426.50 for seats ahead of time to ensure we sat by the window to view the island upon arrival. Qatar did not honor our seats and we were put in the middle in separate rows. I called and priceline said they would refund that charge. I was refunded $324 minus a $102.50 convenience fee. I have been calling weekly and told it is being escalated but may not get this back. HOW DO YOU CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT RECEIVE? This is theft. If I did not get the seats how can I be charged?

Desired outcome: Refund the remainder of the amount charged for seats

Priceline.com flight refusing to resolve

I bought a flight from Priceline September 24, 2023 for my daughters matron of honor to fly to SC from Albany NY, for my daughters wedding. On Sept 26th, Meghan Lovering, my daughters matron of honor, called and she had a medical emergency, had to have emergency surgery. She could not come and missed the wedding. we lost money for all the others things surrounding her not being at the wedding, including $470 for a flight. I was told to contact delta and American Airlines and if they approved the cancellation, then Priceline would be willing to review and see if there was anything they could do. After talking to Delta and AA, they agreed it met their standard for approval and agreed. I called Priceline and they told me they could cancel and give a credit to Meghan Lovering and if she didn't use the credit within a year, it would be gone (Priceline gets $470 free dollars). I bought the ticket with my credit card and I feel that giving credit to Meghan, who was only coming for a wedding (that she since has missed), and will not be coming at a later date, was not acceptable. She did not have the money to come so part of the gift to my daughter was bringing Meghan. So, no resolution came of this many hour phone event. Reasonable airlines agreed, Priceline refuses. I told them I was taking a mission trip to Kenya in February 2024 and would be applying any credit to the purchase of that ticket and they still refused. I feel that a credit in my name or a refund minus any reasonable fee for cancellation would be acceptable as well, a fee for name change would be agreeable as well. Can you please help with this matter? The trip was from Albany (Sept 30-Oct 1) to GSP and back to Albany. Delta flight 5194 at 7am from Albany and AA flight 1164 6:33p from GSP back to Albany. Desired outcome: A travel credit in my name (since it was my money), apply to my future trip to Kenya for mission work, or a refund minus reasonable fee for change.

Priceline.com Service - Scam

I have never delt with such a terrible company in my entire life. I booked tickets for my 3 kids and I to London from Nashville 3 months ago. They cancelled one of the flights one week beofore our trip and now we don't have tickets 3 days bfore we travel! This is not an airline problem, as the flight still exists. I have called at least 30 times and you are put on hold for 30min to an hour each time and then after finally talking with someone they tell you that they will look into it and will get back to you in 24-48 hours. They never do this. This company is a complete scam in every way. How are they allowed to operate

After I made the transaction, I found that "Gratuities Included & Exclusive Savings" not showing in my confirmation details anywhere. So I chatted on line with one of priceline associates and she said I am not eligible to have that promotion. When I pointed out that was listed on their website for my booking price, she advised me to call their 800 number to talk to a supervisor. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with one of their cruise line customer service staff but she couldn't do anything about it. She said she tried all the ways she could, called celebrity cruise, called resolution department, etc. She said the supervisor was not available and she would send a message to her supervisor regarding this. I am so disappointed that priceline made the mistakes on their website and they don't want to correct their mistakes.

Priceline.com Hotel reservation that claims to be changeable and refundable

My booking confirmation R4432991620 states that I am able to change it up until October 21. This is a complete lie. I called and wasted 35 minutes of my time speaking to three different people that told me I cannot cancel a day of my reservation because there are not enough rooms and the hotel is sold out fo rht dates. Thís is complete and utter nonsense. There is no altering of any reservation and length of stay without having availability of an additional room. I want to stay a day less, not more. There should not be an issue with this request. Priceline is crooked and deserves investigation by the FTC.

Desired outcome: REFUND MY MONEY FOR TWO ROOMS FOR ONE NIGHT AS REQUESTED AND COMITTED TO IN YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Priceline.com Hotel Booking

Checking in was a nightmare. I had an issue, and the receptionist was rude and un-helpful. I took my family (pregnant sister, elderly mother and two small children) from out of town, so they could go to the beach. We had nowhere to go, and I didn't know anyone in town. I traveled from Orlando (137 mi) there. I called Priceline and they told me, they would give us a room and then she got back on the line and said, that because it was a third party, that there was nothing they could do. We slept in a hot car, in a strange town overnight, because it was too late to return to Orlando. So, I was out of a room and now they want to keep my $210.00? How does that work? How does that make me a VIP? I have used your company for years and have NEVER had any issues.

Desired outcome: I would like to be made whole again. Either a refund or a compensation for what I had already purchased.

Priceline.com Rental car and hotel

I currently booked a flight, hotel and car through Priceline and it was a complete nightmare that place my life in danger multiple times. When we landed and proceeded to secure our reserved vehicle, we were informed that they were sold out and that they could not facilitate our reservation. In addition to them being over booked, which they explained was caused by Priceline and our vendors, all of the other rental companies were completely sold out. So, we went to the next option. We attempted to obtain an Uber but could not as they were inundated. Now we were stuck for two and a half hours! Two females in the middle of nowhere, thousand of miles from home, and did not know a single person. After realizing that we were stuck we had to ask a complete strange! Crazy and unsafe, but we had no other options. Everything was far and National Car Rental or Priceline tried to help us. We also tried to do Toro and the individual was over and hour away and we had no means to get there. So, we had no choice but to ask a stranger and she agreed to take us. We paid more for this ride then the rental car as everything is far. We had many stops to make, and one was to our hotel. Before exiting the vehicle, we witnessed someone being robbed, so we now have to find another hotel. We now have to spend an additional $350.00 for a room. We also had to pay the lady to take us to the new location and for a couple of other stops. This lady was a God sent! Our original purpose for the travel was a concert and we needed to find a ride as we spent a lot of money for tickets to see Beyonce'. We meet other concert goings that rented a sprinter and it cost us $100.00 per person each way as they spent over $1000.00 for the transportation service. We got up extra early to attempt to get and Uber and we were successful. Please keep in mind that the one trip to the airport was roughly 70% of the cost of the vehicle. We have been trying to get our funds reimbursed and to be compensated for the additional monies we had to spent. All of this cost us an additional $850.00. I have never experienced anything such as we did. This was completely unsafe, unacceptable, unprofessional and needs to be addressed as the extra monies spent has caused me a hardship. PRICELINE, STAND UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING!

Desired outcome: TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE CAR, ORIGINAL HOTEL, THE ADDITIONAL MONIES THE OTHER HOTEL, AND THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS SPENT TO GET TO AND FROM

Priceline.com Dollar rental

Have had a reservation for over two weeks. Gas powered Car was to be ready at 2:30 when our flight arrived ORF airport. We are STILL here waiting for our car! It is now 4:00pm

The customer service guy was rude and said it was supposed to be ready within 30 minutes! We are still waiting!

Priceline.com Hotel reservations

Priceline canceled my reservation and refused to refund the amounts charged. I consider this down right theft. I only found about the cancellation, as I was checking in to the hotel. Of course the room I booked was no longer available. So not only did I needed to adjust my plans, i’m out the amounts I was charged — super inconvenient! On the phone with them, of course 1st the run around, check with credit card company, finally, 2 hours later, no denying they canceled the reservation, but said the reservation was non-cancelable and their policy therefore is no refund. Is that the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard? Well, let me assure I plan to pursue legal action. Buyer beware, caveat emptor!

Priceline.com Super 8 Hotel in Klamath Falls Oregon

This Place has no elevator in it, it's Nasty with rude staff, they don't care if your handicapped, I was told if I wanted my room, it's on the 3rd floor after telling them my wife and I cannot so stairs as we are both handicapped and I'm a 100 percent disabled combat veteran. Even after informing the front desk clerk that we simply cannot do stairs it was an attitude that it's our problem. My wife and I will be seeking legal representation as she was injured because she was made to walk up 2 flights of stairs just to get to our room, at check in after informing the clerk that we're handicapped she was going to put us on the 3rd floor, and it was the take it or leave it attitude from them. You can absolutely guarantee we will be contacting the corporate office of Super 8 Wyndom Hotels as this one's not going away, there's injuries on this for not being actually ADA compliant.

Desired outcome: Fix your Hotel, put on the website no Elevator, change the rating to 1 star, and refund the 4 nights, plus take care of the medical bills from this stay.
