Prostitution going on unsafe
At the Melbourne west 192 location they have a known prostitute call service going on room 212 Kayla Barker she’s high traffic in and out she’s on many escorts sites such as list crawler her numbers used are [protected] and [protected] it’s very appalling that this is going on at such an establishment and know one knows or maybe it’s a pay to play over there either way room has a very bad aroma they are scary and I felt very unsafe and almost didn’t want to come out. This is mind blowing this is going on here at a reputable chain location someone needs to do something

Mixed Experiences at Sierra Suites
After exploring various reviews about Sierra Suites, it's evident that the experiences are quite mixed. While some guests have praised the friendly staff and clean rooms, others have highlighted issues such as bugs, uncleanliness, and poor customer service. It seems like Sierra Suites may have room for improvement in certain areas to ensure a consistently positive experience for all guests. If you decide to stay at Sierra Suites, it might be a good idea to set your expectations accordingly and perhaps reach out to the management in case of any concerns during your stay.

Having stayed in literally thousands of hotels domestically and internationally throughout my life, this stay is one of the worst for what is rated as 3 stars. Black mold, floors peeling back, toilet needed to be flushed by removing the lid, door and cabinet deterioration, tile floor had liquid stains, handle for shower feel off, carpet filthy., bathroom rod rusted thin, tv screen vertical lines fixed, appliances deteriorating, However, the bedsheets were clean, I did not see insects and the water pressure in the shower was excellent delivering hot water. Outside the room under the stairwell was a tremendous amount of garbage and open food containers. I checked out the next morning moving to another hotel close by for the next 6 days that has a solid 3-star rating that its reputation lives up to it. Posted on the mirror in the bathroom was a Stay confident sticker with a 10-point cleaning process #10 is where the problem is because if there is a management inspection nobody should be allowed to stay in a room like #214. If in fact the management had reported this to corporate, then that is where the problem lies because of negligence. I am truly disappointed with Stay America. Over the next 3 years I will be coming to Davie for extended periods of time as I have a daughter attending NSU and it would have been nice to use this hotel as it was very close. too bad!

Read full review of Extended Stay AmericaOver 30 day stay — hotel refuses to refund taxes
In most states, should you stay longer than 30 days (requirements may be longer in some states), you’ll receive a “permanent resident exemption” from occupancy tax.
What this means for me: cost savings, of course. Once you commit to that 31st day, the occupancy tax for your continued stay disappears and you’ll receive a refund of the tax for your previous 30 days. Be sure to ask your hotel front desk for this. If they aren’t aware of the rule, you can do an online search for occupancy tax for long-term hotel stays in the state you’re staying.
I asked about this when making my reservation and again when I checked in. A couple weeks into my stay, I asked the General Manager (and even called the District Manager) Diana Espinosa. All I got for them was excuses and the run-around.
Claimed loss: Around $215 dollars
Desired outcome: I want the hotel lodging tax credited back to me.

Read full review of Extended Stay AmericaAbsolutely horrible hotels. They all need to be shut down
This hotel is absolutely disgraceful. Rooms are to be non smoking, but they are all smoke filled and mold smelling rooms. Had 2 rooms reserved. I am currently sick from the smells from the hotel. Staff didn't seem to care, no one was wearing uniforms. Some even had house slippers on their feet. The rooms were absolutely filthy, holes, dust, dirt, pictures don't do them justice. They falsely advertise rooms on sites and they are not what they advertise. No response from staff, guest relations phone number, only open a case, but no resolution. Avoid this hotel at all costs. They will be reported to the state of Ohio health board, among other agencies since not getting any responses back from no one regarding the matter. 440 dollars for the stay. Don't bother calling corporate because they push back to general manager and the hotel, so that gets you no where. No one is taking any responsibility for these hotels.
Desired outcome: A full refund from my stay

Would like a room change. Neighbor is cursing that I am slamming my door at night. She has said defamatory things, calling me "Pig and disgusting for no reason." Then again after I came in from smoking my cigarette she threatened to call the SPCA on my cat, for what reason I don't know. i am not bothering her, just sometimes go outside at night to smoke and she complains the door is slamming and going on about nonsense that I am a "Pig" and then went on to say "You are disgusting." So I would like to be removed from this neighbor. My animal is not bothering her, for whatever reason she would like to call the SPCA. Would like to be removed from her cursing and weird behavior.
Desired outcome: Room change.Would also consider staff change, it is very unfriendly/nonserviced.I have already had to deal with staff making me clean up my own coffee off the floor and also soda that spilled on it.
Front desk/manager…idk, all I was told was her name “Linda”.
My boyfriend and I checked in Wednesday, early morning for 6 nights. Just moved to Newark Delaware and needed a place to stay until we had a place. Was greeted with professionalism, paid for our room with no issues. Then, next day, Thursday, was a completely different story! My boyfriend suffers from a mental disorder, which sometimes, it’s awhile before he starts to feel better. Never has he had any problems with anyone or created any issues, whatsoever. Unfortunately, on this day, he was in the bathtub and put the lock on the door and wouldn’t let me in. My key didn’t work, for the third time, so I went to front desk. I talked to the lady and asked for a new key and explained what was going on. She asked me to wait a moment for another person. So I waited for about 5 minutes and was approached by a woman, Linda, who had me explain the situation (which was in front of other people) and she abruptly told me that she would have to go to the room and handle it. She also told me that this could not be an issue and be disruptive to others. I was disgusted by her behavior and lack of respect towards me. I was then, loudly instructed to follow her up the stairs to 3rd floor. Well, I suffer from a disability and have a service dog, who was with me, and proceeded to tell her that I would take the elevator instead. She then proceeded to say she would meet me there. I get off the elevator and start heading to the room and then I hear, this LOUD KNOCKING, on door and her loud voice stating, Management Management, echoing down the hallway. I was in disbelief that this is how it was handled. My boyfriend was in the bathtub, came to door and at first, was not going to open it, but within a minute, he opened the door. She then proceeded to tell us that this better not be a problem because if it is, we will be asked to leave. I went into room she was leaving and next thing I know, she’s back in les then a minute and yelled at us to leave the room. We both stood there with questions of why! I was in tears and wondering why!?!? We both were shocked and confused by this whole situation. I finally, calmed down and called the front desk and asked to speak with Linda about this and explained that this was discrimination against him with no reason. I went down to speak with her and she approached me with such a disgusting attitude, that it made me feel so uncomfortable! I asked her to go to a different area that was not at the front desk to discuss the personal issue and was then told, no, this was the only place to discuss it. We both were bothered by this, but still wanted an explanation as to why we were told to leave. She said it was her responsibility to judge the situation and heard us yelling as she was leaving. She felt that there would be issues. I told her that we weren’t yelling, but I was on FaceTime with his sister and she obviously, misjudged the situation. I told her that if she had asked and not assumed and didn’t yell at us like we were worthless, then we wouldn’t be in this situation right now. Also, she was discriminating against him because of his “illness”, and then, I was yelled at to calm down and let her talk. She then told me that she was not discriminating against him and I was wrong and let her talk! She then she would let us stay the night, against her better judgment, but then we needed to leave. What in the world is the hiring process for this company? So now, we have to leave and find another place and wait for money to be refunded in 5-7 days! There were no problems, no complaints, no nothing UNTIL, Linda, made his illness an issue! Linda was the most unprofessional, disrespectful and disgusting person I ever met! I will never understand how this is acceptable for customers to be treated like this and will file a discrimination suit against Linda and Company for this matter! Linda needs to be let go immediately for her actions with this situation! She has no idea how to talk or treat people with kindness or respect!
Desired outcome: Linda needs to be terminated for her actions and held accountable.

Unpleasant Experience at Extended Stay
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience at the Extended Stay located at 5855 Corporate Dr., Colorado Springs, CO, which unfortunately was far from satisfactory.
My partner and I needed a temporary place to stay after selling our home, and we chose Extended Stay for its convenience. Over the past two weeks, we have been making payments as needed, and until now, there have been no issues to mention.
However, on July 25, 2023, we encountered an unexpected problem with a payment that was going to be late due to a technical issue with the debit machine. A few days prior, we had faced a similar situation, but it was resolved amicably with alternative payment arrangements. This time, the front desk staff member approached our room and addressed the situation in an aggressive and hostile manner.
He insisted that payments must be made on time without exceptions, and he also mentioned a pet fee that we were unaware of. We had been at the hotel for two weeks, and our pet had been known to the staff since our arrival, yet no one had informed us about the fee. While we have no problem paying the fee, we were disappointed that this information wasn't communicated earlier.
The situation escalated unnecessarily, with the staff member threatening to charge us additional "back" pet fees and even suggesting the possibility of escorting us out of the hotel due to the late payment. This behavior was shocking and inappropriate, as we had always been treated professionally and courteously before this incident.
When we tried to explain that the late payment was a miscommunication and not intentional, he remained unyielding, emphasizing that the hotel's primary concern was prompt payment and adherence to rules rather than understanding or caring about our personal circumstances.
This entire incident has left us deeply upset and embarrassed, especially as other guests witnessed the exchange. Some of them later approached me and advised me to file a complaint, stating that such conduct is unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
As a result of this unpleasant experience, we have decided to check out and find alternative accommodations. It is disheartening to leave the hotel on such a negative note, as we had initially hoped for a pleasant stay during this transitional period. We checked in on 7/7/2023 and will be departing on 7/26/2023. We regret staying. That's how bad we feel.
I sincerely hope that you take this complaint seriously and address the issue with your staff. Hospitality establishments thrive on providing a welcoming environment, and incidents like this can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise reputable establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that measures will be taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
Best regards,
Nicholes DeHerrera

wilmington west, nc esa - please help me asap!!!
This place is an absolute dump. The people working the front desk are unhelpful and rarely around. There are cigarette butts on the floor outside the elevator. All the drawers are filthy dirty. The stovetop is littered with the previous guests' food. The bathroom sink is practically unusable because it drains soooooooo slow. The fridge is rusted. The AC/Heater is blowing out something that smells rancid and the room stinks. The floor is so dirty it turns your feet black if you don't wear shoes or socks. My room window faces the rehab facility and all day you hear people yelling back and forth inappropriately. The elevator is just disgusting. The hallway is unfinished with the carpet stripped off which can be very harmful to my service dog's paws. I requested handicap accommodations days prior to check-in. I was denied these accommodations and no one bothered to notify me this was unavailable prior to check-in. I would double-check the legality of that. Where I am from, Extended Stay Americas are respectable places to stay for traveling business professionals. This is appalling. I don't feel comfortable interviewing or meeting online with other professionals in this environment. And I pay extra to get internet access capable of doing so. I spoke to several current and prior guests to get local opinions about the condition of this property and unanimously they all agree that this is by far the worst place to stay in this area. Also, at the front desk, it clearly states that laundry washers and dryers cost $2.50 each. I make a trip to get $5.00 in quarters to do a load. When I attempt to put my load in, the machines say it costs $3.00 each. Now I have to go back out again to get $1.00 in quarters. And now the TV stopped working - no signal. This is ridiculous and offensive. I cannot continue to stay here for the duration of 30 days, which is already paid for. Somebody needs to rectify this situation ASAP. I want to move to a different Extended Stay in the Wilmington, NC area and I would appreciate the handicap accommodations that originally requested. WHO DO I NEED TO CALL to make this happen? You can reach me at the number and email below. I would prefer a phone call.
