The person taking orders around the 3:45pm timeframe 8/31/2022 was extremely belligerent. First, the newer location had its dining room closed, which seemed unusual. Taking my 85 year old Mom, she had questions to clarify what she could order. The woman was not listening to the questions, belting out answers that showed as much. When we got the order, it was totally wrong, which we knew was done on purpose, but my Mom felt so intimated by the person, she didn't want to go back. It was a terrible experience.
Desired outcome: That woman shouldn't be in the service industry. She should be let go as with her attitude, she'll run people off. My Mom won't ever go to that location again after what she was put through.
Manager at Swc Smokey Hill Rd and Gun Club Rd location in Aurora CO
The manager refused to take my wife's order at the window after giving him the code we got off the web site. He told her to stand aside and let others order that he wasn't going to take the code because he didn't know how long she had it.
The customer behind her gave the manager the same code and he took their order. I called him to ask for his name and he told me he wasn't going to give it to me and if I wanted it to come down to the store and hung up on me. I called him back and he hung up.
Desired outcome: This manager needs to find something else to do. He doesn't like his job, he isn't good at his job and he should do a favor to himself and everyone else and quit.
Mobile Shrimp Special
I attempted several times to order the shrimp special online among other things your website stated you were having technical difficulties and you were aware of the issue and was working on it i drove to popeys and they refuse to honor the special although it was popeyes fault i couldn't place my order for the special. very poor customer service and unprofessional.

Management, customer service
As a previous employee, these are a few things I experienced while employed at Popeye's on South Royal Street in Jackson TN. First, let me start by saying that I am certified in customer service and I've had to manage a restaurant before, and I've NEVER heard managers tell employees that they're being "TOO NICE" to customers or that we're not suppose to give out condiments unless they're requested? She does not train her employees and she gets an attitude when the other managers "attempt" to help the employees out. Nobody cleaned or sanitized anything EXCEPT ME, as if roaches aren't running rapid in the store. When I was first hired she told me that nobody wanted to work but I soon realized that nobody wanted to work there because there's a lot of bullying and favoritism going on because everybody is related! I've seen a girl vaping inside the lobby and I heard an employee use the "f" word freely around management when she was talking about a homosexual previous employee, I was floored! Please understand that this is to shed light on some of the things going on inside this establishment as I have a niece that works there, and I have family that visits the restaurant often, and they've complained about the way they got treated. I have so much more to complain about but I think I've summed it all up
Desired outcome: I would like Jessica to be held accountable as she is store manager and the other managers don't care because she doesn't.

I have been purchasing POPEYES chicken at this location since opened. It was only in the last two years I have learned to use the app for ‘Deals’. Today I visited Popeyes Louisiana Chicken at 9120 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX, at around 3:45 p.m. I was met at the counter by a young Hispanic female who was going to take my order. I offered up the deal on the app for the 10 piece 2 sides for $24.99 and it generated a four-digit number. “Mild or spicey” was the next communication. Mild was my choice followed by wanted nine wings and one breast. This is the combination I have been getting for the last two years, occasionally it would be two breast and eight wings.
As she stood at the register and entered the promo number and then the first part of the order, she stopped and said she could not honor that combination of chicken pieces. I explained to her for the past two years I have been getting that combination (except for a brief time it was not offered). She went to the back side of the service counter and asked a male, returned, and stated the same. I again explained to her I have been ordering chicken that way and asked if something had changed, because it appears to be the same offer as before. She then got another Hispanic female whose tag said manager or assistant. I told her the same thing I told the first female. She then went into the offer would have to be mixed. Well mixed is more than one kind. It was a mixed order, maybe not HER mix.
I would be curious for an explanation as to why for the past two years I have ordered that combination of pieces but was refused today. The explanation will determine if I will be buying POPEYE’s chicken in the future.

Popeye’s chicken is the best fast food chicken as fats as taste is concerned.
However, today when I ordered, this is the result:

Employee had no idea about the order
At window, employee had to look for order

Employees were sitting in restaurant talking
while I was waiting
No coke slaw - third time this has happened

Two weeks ago a co-worker and I had a taste for chicken. I recommended Popeye's because the have the best fried chicken and the Cajun rice is "back". We went out of our way on our lunch break to the location 908 Old Industrial Blvd, McDonough, Ga desiring to get chicken, red beans and rice, and hopefully Cajun rice if not sold out. We order only to find out this location had no red Beans and rice so we settled with just Cajun rice - completely fine. We drove away wondering how could you NOT have a main staple available but we let it go.
Today for lunch my co-worker and I again decided to go out of our way and go back to Popeyes at the same location. This time the location informed us they ONLY had fries as the sides for our order. No I can understand MAYBE not having one staple side but now this location did NOT have red beans and rice NOR Cajun rice. I can drive across the street to KFC and get semi-ok chicken with at least mashed potatoes. The chicken was ok but I don't know that I will recommend another trip to this location if they continually cannot be prepared.
My co-worker and I get supplier chain and transportation issues but someone needs to plan and/or order better for this location because twice they do not have one or both of the staple items known by Popeye's.

My food order
I placed a mobile order on Sunday August 21, 2022 to have food picked up at 920 Washington Ave in Racine, WI. It was to be ready at 6:00pm. When I arrived I got some pretty rude customer service and then the girl working the drive thru proceeded to tell me my order was cancelled because they were out of red beans and rice. Then she just said have a nice day. I asked if I could just get a different side and it was nothing but crickets. It’s like she disappeared. I sat there a few minutes saying hello? Hello? Nothing. So I left with no food, food I already paid for! Just rudeness and no answer. So I am officially done with Popeyes. I just want my money back.

No service at drive thru
Today 8/21/22 at 5:10 pm cst I stopped at the Popeye's location at 13620 Raceway drive in Northlake TX 76262 for a to go meal. I noticed no customers in the store & only 1 car in the drive thru so I got behind the car, it took 5 mins for someone to take his order, I moved up after him & waited 12 more minutes without anyone taking my order, I did speak up a few times & also honked the horn for attention. I decided to drive around and walk into the store and doors were closed, someone came to the door and I told him I'd been waiting for 15 minutes and he just looked at me like I was crazy.
I love your product and don't blame your corporation but someone needs to address these issues. Please notify the manager and have them talk to the staff.

I went to Popyees today located at 2850 S Alma School Road, Chandler, AZ 85286 at 11:57 am (order #14). I order 8 pcs chicken only. My chicken was cold and burnt I looked at my order before leaving and on top of it being cold a burnt it did not contain the correct pieces when ordering 8 pcs chicken only. Per receipt order should have had 2 +leg spicy, 2 +thigh spicy, 2 +wing spicy, 2 +breast spicy this was not what I received, I gave the order back and waited in line. Another customer came behind me and order an 11 piece chicken only for $16.99 that was a special listed on the window of restaurant. After hearing that customer put in his order and manager tried to argue with him he had to tell her to look on the window at the sign. As I continued waiting I decided I wanted to order what the last customer order because I was still waiting, I went back to the counter and set my bag down and stood back in line. When it was my turn again Manager rudely said "take your money you through your food across the counter" I said I did not through anything, several other customer repeated she did not through anything. I took my money and walked out and 2 other customers came behind me and said they did not want their food because she lied, you never through anything and I was very patiently waiting to place another order. She charged me $17.99 for 8 pcs total $19.45 with taxes. THIS MGR DOES NOT KNOW HER COMPANY PRODUCTS SHE IS VERY RUDE AND A THIEF. I will never ever go into that Popeyes again and will discourage anyone and everyone I am in contact with not to patronize that store.

Ordered two orders specified different bags and charges. Orders combined. Had too request different receipts, bags etc. Diddnt receive food as ordered. No sides , sauce. Got shrimp but smallest ones possible. With no sauce or side , hardly a meal. 18.60 for nothing. Will not go back to this location again. Restaurant was visited on August 30 by two people. Both of us were disappointed.

Chicken Tenders combo
I've been experiencing sever cases of Diarrhea over the last several weeks and it wasn't until I started recording it on my calendar that I realized it always started on Monday and lasted 2-3 days. This pointed to an interesting set of circumstances. I attend church almost every Sunday and don't get out until after the time that I would normally eat lunch. Typically, since I like your chicken, I'd stop on the way home and pick up a box combo of tenders. The pattern is just to strong and when I looked up "Popeye's Chicken Issues" on the web and the first article read "Popeyes Food Poisoning You can get food poisoning from fried chicken. Diarrhea and nausea are the most commonly reported symptoms of Popeye's food poisoning. Salmonella is the most common diagnosis and the bacteria is associated with chicken.", The store that I visit is located at 2021 Rees St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.

On 9/16/2022 I went to Popeyes on Mayfair Td and Burleigh in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I had 3 cars in front of me and still waited for 30 minutes to get my order taken. When I placed my order they were out of the shrimp that just came out at 4:30p! So I ordered the popcorn shrimp and had to wait another 10 minutes for that. When I paid the machine didn’t print out receipt which was a **** shame . After receiving my meal I asked for cocktail sauce and they were out. Why I wasn’t told that up front just pissed me off more. I left and didn’t eat my food. Asking for a refund at that point would of been pointless. This isn’t the first time I uncounted bad service at this location but enough is enoug

We ordered from the store in North Olmsted Ohio on Wednesday the 10th of August. One regular and one spicy. Sat at a little park to enjoy sandwiches,I had the spicy one. Got thru 75% of sandwich and all of a sudden I got a pain in my tongue. Drank some lemonade and finished the sandwich, got up to return to the car and suddenly I was sweating. Soon I was soaked and noticed I was short of breath. Started the car with the air conditioning on and I realized I was going to have a difficult time driving so I got out and put my hands over the open door. The cool air helped my breathing but not enough. Now I was getting scared. After a few minutes, I felt worse and drove to the emergency room of our hospital in Westlake. Was admitted, given oxygen, and then a nurse came with epinephrine and stuck me in the leg. open my shirt and had red blotches over my chest and also bloodshot eyes. They gave me an EKG and drew blood monitored my blood pressure. After 4 hours in the er, they let me go home. I have had this sandwich several times before so I don't think it was the chicken or the bun, but there was something in the sauce that caused this. I will not return to any of your restaurants.

spicy chicken sandwich
on August 9,'22 i got a carry out. Six miles to drive back home, hungry & tired I started to eat. i'm diabetic & was getting dizzy. I noticed the sandwich wasn't juicy like the last one I had. When I went inside to order, he brought it out in less than a minute. So I tried to eat it even though it was dry & chewy. I couldn't finish it. I called to store a bought it from & was denied satisfaction. If I pay $8 for a sandwich I expect better than that dried up sandwich.

Employee Behavior and Service
I am writing to complain about an employee at the Popeyes store in Sunland, CA. This employee la name is Sonny. As Popeyes employees go, Sonny is definitely a cut above the rest. He is probably the most manipulative, petty, lying and spiteful person I've ever seen behind a counter at any fast food establishment.
My husband and I went to this Popeyes this past Saturday (8/6/2022) and ordered 8 pieces of chicken, all white meat. That means 4 breasts and 4 wings. Half spicy, half mild. We order the same thing every time, and for some reason the order always presents a challenge to the cashier as to how to ring it up. This time though, the woman who took our order rang it up with no problem - but Sonny was fulfilling the orders. Now, the last time we went into this same Popeyes, Sonny actually told us how to order what we wanted so that we weren’t charged by the piece - which is exactly what we did.
Now comes the fun part. Sonny starts putting to food in the boxes and turns to me and says -
1. He could only give me 2 breasts instead of 4 because the breasts had an up charge of $2.69. I informed him that I ordered according to HIS prior directions. He said Popeyes had changed how they charge and I hadn’t paid the up charge. Mind you, this was the exact same thing he said the last time we were there - and the amount we paid this time was exactly the same - but I guess he was in a less ‘testy’ mood the 1st time we dealt with him.
2. I argued with him about this, and finally said, okay then just charge me the $2.69 difference. He said he couldn’t do that because it would have to have been done when we ordered the food. What?
3. He then asked me if I just wanted the food as it was. I said yes - 6 wings, 2 breasts. He says no - there’s one of each piece of chicken in the box. What?
3. After more argument between us (which now primarily consists of him screaming and cursing at us), he threatens to call the police. Fine. My husband says - why are we going through all this - just give us our money back. Sonny goes over to the cash register, pretends to do something and then announces he can’t reverse the transaction and that we’ll have to come back tomorrow. What? A petty and immature move at best.
At that point Sonny leaves the store saying he’s going out to call the manager, whom he said earlier wasn’t available.
And then Sonny just stayed outside. He never came back in. This is the kind of employee Popeyes has dealing with the public.
Another employee (Lena) came in from her break and not only gave us what we asked for, but also refunded our money. She was absolutely professional and courteous. She displayed the EXACT OPPOSITE behavior that Sonny did. And to top things off, there was a customer behind us that never had his order taken until we resolved the issue with Lena - 20 minutes later?
Sonny’s behavior and the manner in which he attempts to yield his perceived power is unacceptable and needs to be addressed by management. I’m sure we are not the only ones he has behaved this way with.
There are a number of bad reviews on this particular location - many dealing with employee issues.

I am extremely disappointed in the service provided by Popeyes here in Nashville TN tonight. This branch in particular (the Jefferson Street branch) is known for absolutely terrible service consistently.
My team and I here at UPS buys a team meal that feeds 16-20 individuals once a week. They have requested Popeyes on several occasions and this branch has left us without food before.
Yesterday I placed an order online for delivery, hoping It would select a different Poppeyes location to prepare the food which it did not.
The Branch waited until the delivery driver arrived at the restaurant to have him contact me and tell me that my meal will need to be cancelled because the kitchen did not have any Chicken Tenders.
After a strong debate with the delivery driver on why would this need to be done. I was told to contact support because the branch wanted him to wait an additional 20 minutes and he is unable to wait. When I checked the website for my order, it showed delivered.
We did not receive this food. I got into my car and drove from work all the way to the restaurant because at this time my team is sitting waiting on a meal. I was met at the door by the security guard that told me the restaurant is closed (at 8:45pm).
I told the guard that I need the food on which I paid for and never received – I was told the kitchen had no food and that they are sorry. My meal is still showing up as delivered in the system.
I need a refund to my company card for the amount paid for this food please.
I am a person of color myself.. and I can tell you it is EXTREMELY disappointing to witness a staff with such little care or regard for…. Anything really. That entire branch needs to be shut down.
Service is always horrible and this is now the second time I ordered and did not receive the food.
I am hoping to receive the refund to resolve this situation.
