I was given a bad attitude by a teller at till No 5 her name is Lebohang around 11h39 these morning. I asked her give me a something to wipe before I can put the stuff (clothes) that I was paying she said rudely I'm busy can't you see. After when she cleaned with disinfectant while cleaning she complained to the packer that I'm ruining her nice nails with...

Not a complaint: I would liek to firstly, commend pick n pay for the amazing clothing range that they keep especially in the kids department as well as the value for money options. I do however, want to enquire as to why the lay-bye option isnt available at pick n pay clothing. With the current economic state and having to budget all the time. I would like...

The service at this Pick 'n Pay is pathetic. Whenever a customer wants to a withdrawal or cashback at the cashiers, we get told, they don't have money, and when we ask, to please ask their colleague or manager, they get an attitude. This morning I was told by the store manager, Teboho, they don't have money because they loaded the Capitec ATM, and I can...

Over the last year I purchased two lovely dresses from Pick n Pay Clothing in Port Elizabeth. See photo below. They are of a very loose cut, as that is what suits me. I was very pleased with both of them. The older one, navy, shrank badly in the length at the first cold water hand wash. I bought navy lace to lengthen it, and was satisfied. After the second...

Pick n Pay customer service at cashiering points

Poor cashiering service Wednesday 29 January 2020 between 17:00 - 18:00 Till No 11 . The interaction to us the client doesn't exist. Cashiers throughout the store are more interested in communicating in their mother tongue with one another ( cashier to cashier and/or packer ) and ignore us the client completely. This happens every Wednesday afternoon. I would like to suggest management and their trainer/s visit the stores at Willobridge and De Ville Centre to experience proper customer service. I get the idea management at the large corporate stores are scared of the Unions.

Whilst shopping at the supermarket as a result of an unmarked portruding metal object I had a bad fall and was given absolutely no assistance from staff or management none of whom were according to my telephone calls were available although it happened during the presumed busiest time of the year in December. In the process of contacting the manager and...

Today I went to PNP to get some rolls. When I got there it was rather busy. This young lady who is always smiling and very helpful was there. Too my horror her supervisor named Nozuku (had her name tag on her back for some odd reason) was just standing there packing rolls or whatever. She refused to acknowledge our presence. It was up to 6 of us standing...

On the 7th January 2020 I bought R1438.53 of clothing from PnP clothing in Hillcrest. I took the items home to try on and on the 14th January 2020 I returned R1040 of the items. I had mislaid the slip. They refused to refund me despite the fact that the items still had all the tags on and they could check on my Smartshopper card that in fact I had bought...

Pick n Pay pathetic returns policy

I received a dress as gift from a lady for Christmas which didn't fit me.
I tried to exchange it today, but Pick 'n Pay Clothing Malmesbury insisted that I had to have the slip. I explained that I didn't have the slip, as it was a gift from someone not staying in the same province as I do. The label was still on the garment. She would not exchange the dress at all and I had to leave.
I will recommend everyone I know to never shop at Pick 'n Pay clothing as this is the most pathetic exchange policy I ever heard of. Funny how you can change it the way you like, ignoring the fact that the Consumer Act says that sellers have to exchange goods if still in perfect condition. Wonder what they would say about this policy. Even wondering what the Ombudsman would say about this situation.

Good day I have been buying breakfast from this store for the last 4 months or so and must say that it is very convenient. I previously complained when Thabiso was the manager and for a while it went better, but now it has gone beyond repair. When they have toasted sandwiches, the price labels do not indicate what the filling is - this creates a health...

Pick n Pay bad customer service - online shopping

I did my online shopping on Friday 29.11.2019. It took me 3 hours as I wanted to make sure I got all the items my elderly parents needed for Christmas. When I got to check out my items I found that almost 20 of the items that were initially available and placed in my trolley were suddenly not available. Many of these items were on sale. I raised a complaint online at the same time with Pick n Pay about this issue, only to find today, my delivery day that all my items were cancelled due to the fact that according to them my ''credit card details needed to be updated''. The same credit card I used last month to pay for my online shopping without any issues. The same credit card which is only expiring in 2024 with enough balance to to pay for double the amount that my online shopping order was for.
I still have not received a response to my query on Friday about the items that were not available at checkout time. No apology or explanation only cancellation of a 3 hour online shopping experience.

Pick n Pay packer was extremely rude to me

I am absolutely disappointed in the service I received at pick n pay musgrave last Sunday. I had a back ache and used a trolley instead of a basket fir a total of 4 items in the express till and the packet was extremely rude to me although I had explained that I just had four items. After handing us baskets when we were ready to pay she then went on to tell me in her language that I was making a noise when I was explaining to her that it was not needed and yes I do understand that I'm using a trolley but it's only 4 items. The cashier had no problem with what carrier I used to get to the till. Before I left I told her that she was chasing customers away with her approach but she didn't seem to care. What do you say pick n pay when you solo shoppers choose to use a trolley because they are unwell or worse what if I was a person with a disability? Is this the manner in which we should be treated at pick n pay musgrave centre in Durban South Africa?
