Tonight, I aired until I no longer could believe that my order as almost ready. Nobody came to the car as the last text message said he or she would. I finally knocked on the locked take away door at 9:25 pm. There, an outback employee sit tapping away on her phone. When she got around to unlocking the door, I provided my nam as she asked and I inquired...

Outback Steakhouse Curbside service at 4th Street in St. Petersburg, Fl

Called to order curbside service. I pressed #2 to place my order. The lady answered the phone & said she would transfer me. I held on but no one ever come back on to take my order. I hung up & called back. Same lady answered & I told her no one ever picked to take my order. She apologized and put me on hold to transfer me again. I held on for a solid 10 minutes and no one ever come back to the phone to take me order. I hung up and called a 3rd time. Same lady answered. I told her I had held on for 10 minutes but no one had ever taken my order. She asked me to hold & that she would get manager. Manager came to the phone and I told her what had happened. The manager told he it would be a 30-40 minute wait for food to be ready! By this time, I didn’t have 30-40 minutes to wait since I had tried to place my order at 6:50 when I called the first time. It was now 7:20! So needless to say, I didn’t order mine & my husbands dinner from outback!

Desired outcome: Better customer service

Outback Steakhouse Don’t want my service

I am complaining because this outback does not want my service. I went to outback in skokie Illinois today. It was for a party of 10. We got there at around 7:30. The restaurant is not busy. When I walked in to the hostess and told him how many people. He had to ask his manager and the manager was very rude asking if we wanted to wait. I told her yes and she made a face. If I didn’t have to go for a birthday I would have left.

Desired outcome: Just want to let outback know that is not the way to do business and treat your customers

Let me start off by saying the service is not an issue. The issue is the quality of the food. This is not limited to just one time. This is actually seven times in total. This used to be our go to restaurant, but recently with the increase in prices and the major decrease in quality of food, we have made other choices. The steaks we received were so tough...

Outback Steakhouse Waitress and food

I took 5 people to dinner last night around 6:00. 3 of us had filet&lobster, one prime rib, one Alfredo w/steak & shrimp. The filet & lobster was fantastic as usual. The steak with the alfredo was very tough and uneatable. When we pointed out this to Abbey she said "it gets like that" and left. No offer for something different or anything. I would have paid for another filet & lobster had Abbey offered a choice or anything. The bill came to $312... I paid $390 in cash. Whenever I leave a nice tip the waiter/waitress always comes by to thank me. Abbey never came back.

My food was great, but this was my first disappointing visit due to the issues stated. This was my first time dining at this location.

This experience has been on my mind night and all day today, having one of my guests unhappy with her dinner. This was my Christmas gift to close family friends. We came to Outback because I've never been disappointed before last night.

My family and I went to Outback on January 4, 2023 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We arrive at 1:15 P.M. and was seated. The server brought out some water, and we did not see her again. We just kept looking around to see what was the problem. After forty-five (45) minutes had passed, my daughter had to track down the manager. Please keep in mind our...

Outback Steakhouse Stolen gift card by waitress

Your waitress , Crystal, From Norwalkm CA, lost or stole our $50 gift card! We handed her 3 giftcards. 2 $50 and 1 $25
She lost $50 due to grabbing payment cards from multiple tables and walking with it loosely.
We insisted she check, only for her to say she can't seem to find it. She asked us if we were sure. YES, we handed u 3 gift cards!

This is really unacceptable! We lost $50! Ended up paying $15 and still giving her $15 begrudgingly, only becuz we are Union, but she didn't deserve it.
I wrote a comment on my receipt about being jacked for $50.
You should make this right! We shouldn't lose $50 they we got for Christmas due to negligence on your waitresses part.

Not even given the fact she never checked on us or refilled our drinks, then to top it off , loses our payment ! I hope whoever found or stole our $50 enjoys it. This really sucks!
No Manager came to help. It became OUR PROBLEM to prove we gave this woman 3 gift cards, how does one prove that? If you have cameras, Check them! She either dropped it cuz she cant handle being a server or she stole it.

This was a horrible experience.

Desired outcome: My $50 Gift Card back!!!

Earlier last night (01/03/2023) my 87 year-old mother nearly choked to death in front of me in the Statesville NC location. The meal was a disaster from beginning to end - the food was virtually inedible, our waiter was inexperienced, overwhelmed and undertrained with no support from other staff, and the lack of management was unacceptable. Outback Steakhouse food

12-12-2022

Ordered full rack of ribs ...they were tough.

Tried to get the spinach however you dont carry it anymore

and it was very good when you did have it.

I asked the server and she said they had it for a big party and would

check with the manager if I could get a little and he said it was gone.

The table next to me had problems with their meal as well. The server

was about to bring my check but now had to handle his food so I had to wait

for that.

11/2 hrs there and I got there at 4 :45 and it was slow.

Last time I went a week ago ordered the prime rib 16 oz.

They brought the 12 ounce, sent it back.

I ordered the 17 spices on it and it was so SPICY you could not eat it.

3rd time it worked.

This place was on point 6 months ago...WHAT HAPPENED?

Desired outcome: I paid for the meal

Outback Steakhouse Wait time

We called ahead for seating ; when we arrived at :5:50pm, we were told 20 min wait. We were seated by 6:20pm. We ordered blooming onion, Alice Springs chicken, shrimp and steak, fries, baked potatoe, 2 salads. We received our appetizer within 20min. Our salads, came out around 6:35. Our main dish did not come out until 7:30.We finished by 7:50. TWO HOURS IS RIDICULOUS. Our waitress was trying to be attentive, however she was extremely busy with lack of staff. She finally went in to check on our meal; it came out within 10 minutes

Not Happy Campers😢

Outback Steakhouse Service and food

We went to the Outback on Commercial Way in Spring Hill, Fl. on Tuesday November 15th at 4:00 pm. for my 75th birthday. It was almost empty. We are good size people and was escorted to a small 2 top booth. We asked to be seated at a larger booth. We were the only couple in that section. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and got a different drink. I sent it back. We had no napkins, silverware, salt or pepper, when the food arrived. Salad was limpy, blooming onion was not a sweet onion. Steak was tough, baked potato was cold. Service was lacking. Our waiter was not to be found when I wanted to order another margarita. I was almost done with my steak when I finally got some steak sause. We complained to the waiter and to the manager on the way out. They were polite, but didn't seem concerned.

Desired outcome: Just wanted to bring all this to your attention.

Outback Steakhouse service and food

We went to have dinner at the Addison Tx location on 11/8/2022 at 6:09 pm

Must say the service was very poor and the food as well. The onion blossom was cold and very oily and the chicken tender plate the chicken was cold, but the fries were hot. Overall, the not a good experience for sure. There was a manager on duty but did not come to our table even once. She was back and forth at the table near us and possibly did not have time to come to over table even though we requested to speak to a manager. that indeed is very poor customer service and not sure if we will ever go to that location.

Total paid $35.68

Outback Steakhouse Service and discrimination

On October 30 at 14:20 I requested a table and the restaurant was less than half full, the last at the entrance told me that I needed to wait for at least 25 minutes, people that wasn’t called by the lady but clearly Americans entered with no queue as the rest of some of us mostly foreigners (natural in an international airport).

If you need I may provide photos of the restaurant

Outback Steakhouse Service

I visited Lowell Outback. The service was astonishingly horrendous. The bartender was rude and never smiled. The manager/owner I believe his name was Dave came to the table and smelled like alcohol and that's not the first time I have smelled alcohol on this person. I asked the hostess who he was and they said he was the managing partner. I have seen him several times and he smells like alcohol every time either drinking on the job or coming through his pores from drinking the night before. Regardless it is disgusting. He is also not pleasant. He was flirting and making sexual comments to younger servers and hostesses. We sat in the bar area near the hostess area and could overhear what he was saying. Absolutely ridiculous you would allow something like that to run your store. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS OUTBACK EVER. We also go to Methuen and have the most amazing encounters there. We generally go to Lowell depending on our location as we travel a lot. Not to mention I have seen him sitting at his own bar drinking. Shame on HIM.

Desired outcome: Disciplinary action against the manager Dave. Suspended without pay. Fired. He does not belong running a restaurant.

Outback Steakhouse Waitress and cook

While dining at Outback Steakhouse located at JENKINTOWN

610 Old York Road

Jenkintown, PA 19046

[protected].

We regret to inform you of our entire dinner experience.

The service was extremely poor. We were not properly greeted by our server as they first approached  us from a slight distance  so we were unaware she was talking to us as she appeared  talking  away from our direct attention.

Our server took our order and brought drinks and bread.

Our salads were brought to our table by another server as well as our steak dinners she never once checked back with us to see if we needed anything or if our food was to our liking.

While preparing our dinner salads we used the salt & pepper shaker on the table  when grinding the whole pepper the shaker shattered all over and the glass cutting open a finger and shattering glass over the table as well in both salads.

We still had no whereabouts of our server so we asked someone who was cleaning a nearby table for assistance.  A band aid was given and a new salad brought out , however no one cleaned up the glass on table   We were offered to move to another table so instead of helping the staff stood there while we moved all of our cocktail drinks waters bread and utensils ourselves to a table that was located directly behind the door to the kitchen.  The first loud sound and vibration of a slammed door startled us and was very disrupting having continued several times during our dinner..

One salad that used the pepper cracker prior to it shattering had broken glass in it and the person had been eating it and bite down on a piece of glass, no injuries occurred fortunately and we managed to catch our server to let them know what happened and asked for the salad to be removed and bring a replacement salad to go.

To my surprise . No mention if anyone had been injured they just removed the salad plate from the table. Thankfully no cuts inside the mouth.

Having ended the events of the evening with unpleasant service, glass shards in the salads and finger cut open. as well as one of the steaks was not prepared as ordered and did not have anybody come by to check after we were served our dinner to see if everything was to our liking  or if we needed anything . so we didn’t bother nor did we  feel the need to say anything with no one around to ask anyways.

The restaurant was not busy  while we were there.

A manager was never presented to us after the ordeal with getting cut and glass in salads. The Disturbance of the kitchen door slamming several times and the steak being over well done   Along with  server who spoke to us at a distance  in dire need some training

The evening was  not a pleasant experience  we just wished to pay our tab and leave however the waitress was no where in site for some time as we waited at the front with hostess we were asked how our dinner was and let her know it wasn’t the best she was sincere and offered  while we wait for server to be located to address this to a manager to let them be aware of what happened. I am not writing this to threaten any law suits I just feel that you should be aware of the unsatisfactory service that we had experienced with hopes that there would be some additional training be given to the staff of your establishment to keep this from happening again. The manager did offer a discount on our bill, which is the least they could’ve done when I feel is though our Dinner should have been entirely compensated for our troubles

Desired outcome: Full refund for that horrible experience would be great and I would appreciate a response.

Outback Steakhouse Product/Service

On Sunday October 16, 2022, my family and I went to the establishment on Washington Road in Augusta GA. I ordered a steakhouse salad with no tomatoes, no blue cheese crumbles, no onions with my steak cooked well done. Once I received my salad and started cutting my steak which was not cooked well. Our waitress who was very pleasant took my order back. When the salad was brought back, I knew that the kitchen took the steak off and place on the grill. SO, my salad was not a fresh remake because when I looked the part of the steak, I cut that was undercooked was still on the plate which told me the salad was not a fresh remake. I requested to see the manager and I had to go to the hostess and request to see te manager because our waitress had told the manager I needed to see them to make my compliant. Well, it took the manager 30 mins to come to the table and I was upset because the party of 10 I was the only that had not eaten. When the manager finally came, she was like this is the first time I am hearing of this which I knew that it was not true because the waitress had tried to stop her, but the unprofessionalism of that manager was not call for. After all the other manager came a apologized.

If someone would like to speak to me my number is 803.979.5815 Daphne Hudson

Outback Steakhouse out back restaurant Spokane Washington

On Sunday October 9th 2022 we had a family diner at out backs in Spokane Washington it was my husbands birthday. We arrived at around 5 pm. we were seated right away. the table being half table and chairs and half booth. The booth part was filthy with food dripping down the back resting area. It was awful! Then the middle of the table had leaves that bowed so badly a plate or cup could not sit there with out spilling out. The thing was to support two diners and I was one and it was so uncomfortable for me and I am disabled! Then we ordered two blooming onions. Both the onions were fried with the peelings on them unable to eat and in the middle of both the dough or breading was RAW! is just dripped off the onion. We brought this to the attention of the waitress. she removed the onions and did not charge us. Our daughter ordered a salad and when that arrived the Lettice was in lots of spots black and slimy the taste was awful! Of course we told the manager and he said he removed that from our bill. Then my husband ordered a steak medium it came with the ends turned up from being on the grill so long it was burnt and tough. The steak was about 1/4 inch thick It resembled beef jerkey! We were given 2 plates of ice cream to share with 6 adults. We all went home and reported that 5 of us had gotten sick really sick. We were charged $150 for this mess? Is that because my husband and I are from an older generation and we were being experimented on with a new cook? This was so bad even our one year old grandson had gotten ill.

Desired outcome: Return of Money Refund we should not be forced to pay for such a mess! We did take 4 to the Doctors and suspected food poisonings ?

Outback Steakhouse Event services

Dear Outback Steakhouse,

My name is David Massey and I organize a Meetup group that plays euchre at various restaurants in the Indianapolis area. We meet on Mondays when restaurants are slow. We have dinner and then play our card game for one to two hours. Our members arrive between 5 and 7. We never know how many will arrive for dinner and how many will arrive for only drinks and cards. Typically, drink and food orders are placed as members arrive. We do not wait for everyone to arrive before we eat. We’ve been doing this for several years and have never had any issues with the restaurants that we frequent. I’d like to share some service issues we encountered during recent visits to your restaurant at 7525 U.S. 31 South, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.

OUR FIRST VISIT August 1, 2022

I arrived at 5pm to setup for the event. I was escorted to the reserved tables by our waitress. Upon my initial contact with her, she seemed preoccupied and inattentive. This particular evening, we had 21 attendees of which 18 had dinner and drinks and 3 just had drinks. There was no problem during dinner. However, while taking orders one of the members asked if she was going to write down the orders and the waitress replied, “I can remember your orders with no problem.” That was later followed by, “Now who ordered the drink?”

After dinner while the card game was in progress, many members were in need of drinks as the waitress had not been seen for over 30 minutes. One of our members went to look for her and found her in the kitchen talking to staff. She advised the waitress that we needed drinks and then returned to the table. When the waitress returned, she immediately stated to our group that we weren’t the only customers in the restaurant and we needed to be patient. One of our members replied that we had been waiting over 30 minutes. The waitress and my members traded some remarks that I can’t recall. The waitress left and came back with drinks.

I called management the following day to explain what happened and to apologize for my members' behavior. I also explained that I had initiated a new rule that no member was to initiate contact with any wait or management staff; they were to contact me or a co-host to resolve issues. The manager said he hadn’t heard there was an issue but a waitress shouldn’t have been absent for that amount of time. He apologized and told me that we were always welcome and to please come again. A few weeks later, we thought we would try the restaurant again.

OUR SECOND VISIT October 10, 2022

I arrived with my co-host at 5pm and was escorted to our tables by the hostess. I set up for the event and sat down expecting a server to take our drink & dinner orders. More members arrived and by about 5:15 there were 8 members seated and ready to order. I was at the restaurant for 45 minutes and no one had contacted our group for drinks or dinner orders. I asked a waiter if he was our server, he said no but would get her for us. After 15 minutes she had not arrived so I asked the hostess for the manager. When I told Cameron we weren’t being served and were getting the cold shoulder treatment from the staff, he said he would send our server over to us. She arrived at our table and took our drink orders, although she obviously was not happy to be our waitress. I introduced myself and asked for her name (Ashley). When I asked how she was today, she just turned and walked away. After bringing our drinks she immediately left without taking our dinner orders. While delivering drinks to another table, a member asked if she could take their dinner orders, she replied “Cool it! I’ll take the order when everyone arrives.” So I sought out a manager again. This time I spoke with manager Jen and explained we were not being served and we cannot wait until everyone arrives to order and eat. Doing so would not allow time to play cards. Jen said she would contact the server.

Ashley came to take the dinner orders. Someone politely questioned why we had to wait to place our dinner orders. Ashley replied, “Do you want me to take your order or not?” The member told Ashley that she was insulted by her reply and got up to leave the restaurant; Ashley walked away. As two other members were getting ready to leave, a new waitress arrived to take our orders. Kim was great! She was professional and provided the kind of service all customers should receive. Kim deserves a thumbs up!

We frequent many restaurants in the area; most of them love us and ask us to come back as often as possible. Some want us to be there every Monday. After the treatment we received at Outback Steakhouse Indianapolis Indiana, I can guarantee our group and at least twenty people will no longer frequent that restaurant. The staff is completely unprofessional and rude. Only one or two staff members have the professionalism to do the jobs they were hired to do. I was in the restaurant business for 13 years and spent 18 years working for the federal government and I have never seen unprofessionalism on a scale that these individuals displayed.

Desired outcome: Outback corporate should know how their customers are being treated at this location. The outcome is up to them.
