Outback Steakhouse - Management
On 5/27/22 I had a 1 pm scheduled interview for server for you north Mesa location on Mckellips rd. The posting went up on indeed last weekend and I applied immediately and then was forwarded to pick a slotted time. For the past 5 days I had received over a half of dozen text messages and emails reminding me of this on site interview, even a text message an hour before advising me to start heading to the location.
Upon my arrival I advised the host I was there for an interview and I was met with a shocked look on her face. Since I was not given a name to ask for she went and brought back the kitchen manager. Obviously he had no knowledge of any interviews and asked me to return at 230 pm when the front of the house manager “Emily” would be in. Wanting the interview I agreed.
Upon my return, the hostess went to to the manager I was there for the interview. After about 10 min she returned to tell me the manager would see me as soon as she could. Another 10 minutes passed and another young lady came into the restaurant also for an interview for server, again met with that same shocked response and once again she went to inform the manager she had another interview waiting. Clearly you could tell there was an issue. After another 10 minutes the hostess spoke to the other young lady and advised her she would see what the manager wants to do as there was someone ahead of her and to understand the system online does not show the restaurant managerthe scheduled interview times?
A few minutes later the hostess returns, calls the other lady over to where I am sitting to tell us both that there are no server positions available but there is a hostess position available.
I can’t remember the last time I was so appalled. I wasted a half of day with your company’s non-sense and blatant incompetence to more or less be turned away. And to top it all off the manager could not even take 2 minutes to come out herself, apologize, and explain the situation. ( the restaurant was practically empty). The lack of professionalism is astounding. I have been in management for 25 years. Had I been a district manager I would have terminated her on the spot. If any part of that story about the system not notifying managers of potential candidates is true I would be taking a good look at my HR department. The whole experience was ridiculous.
I expect this matter to be investigated.
Outback Steakhouse - Food quality
Ordered a prime rib. the us jus was so salty it was not eatable . The prime rib was low quality and expensive for the quality. I can get a prime rib In Hot Springs Village for $13.00 that is not grizzly and melts in your mouth. I have been a fan of Outback for years., but I will no longer. Very very disappointed. Not what you use to be. This review is for the restaurant in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Outback Steakhouse - Food quality
I purchased 2 brisket plates on 5/10/22 at the Outback in Alexandria Louisiana. When I got the plates home I cut the fat off the sides of the meat which is normal for brisket. When we tried to eat the brisket it was pure fat which we couldn’t eat. It was bland and just mushy with fat. I have ordered from there several times but this was absolutely the worst I have ever seen. I spent good money on food that was not edible.
Desired outcome: I think that I should get a refund

We went to Outback to celebrate my birthday! On arrival there was no hostess.
The waitress seated us. We order the 12 oz ribeye with baked potato and fries.
I had the house salad and my friend had onion soup.
The steaks were so highly seasoned we were unable to eat it all. The fries were loaded with salt and my salad was disgusting. I could not eat it.
The worst meal,we have ever had.
We won’t be going back.
Desired outcome: I would like a compensation

On April 23, 2022 my son and I went to the Outback Steakhouse located on Two Notch Rd. Columbia SC. This happens to be my birthday and we were looking forward to a nice dinner to celebrate. We arrived at 6:18 and had our name placed on a waiting list and were told that it would be about 35-40 min wait which we were expecting. After awhile the couple that...Read full review

Outback Steakhouse - Outback Steakhouse Casselberry Fl
I purchased a 15 once rib eye steak for delivery. When it arrived it was cold and boxed with rice and potato that had spilled all over the steak. It was a mess of food mixed together It looked like possibly the rice and potatoes were supposed to be separated by foil but the two pieces of foil were simply laying on top of the whole mess
The steak was cold and tough. Over half was nothing but fat and gristle. It’s the first steak I bought since pre pandemic. What a disappointment! Poor quality meat. Terrible packaging! Over all barely edible. Over half the steak was thrown out. TERRIBLE product and service I tried contacting the Outback in Casselberry and got out on hold and disconnected twice
Desired outcome: Need refund or gift certificate for same amount of product $40
I called in a to go order for pick up at Outback 8405 IKEA Blvd in Charlotte, NC on 4/14/2022 at 11:33 The order was read back to me to confirm it was correct. However, when I arrived home with the meal I was missing one of the requested sides that went with the Alice Chicken and the prime rib sandwich combo was like shoe leather and had to be trashed.Read full review
Outback Steakhouse - The preparation of food
I have always supported the restaurants during covid and after. This is the third strike for outback. My son and I love prime rib, we ordered the prime rib even though it was expensive. It was so raw when we received it , it was unwedable. We waited several weeks and in between we ordered the spinach and soup. We ordered a center cut steak which was delious. So we tryed the prime rib again and ordered it medium well. Again it came so raw you could not cut it. We put in oven yet it was not the same. we were unable to eat it. So today we tryed the bloomin onion and the bloomin hamburger. It was absolutely tasteless and very aweful the bloomin onion could not be eaten due to the grease being so old. I love carrabas and outback yet even in these trying times your product must be better. I'm not sure we will want to eat there again. I just thought you should know. My name is Linda Woodall and I buy hundreds of gift cards from you and not sure I can do that anymore either. My email is [email protected] Thank you.
Desired outcome: cook your food better
My daughter’s and I had dinner tonight 4/9/22 @ 6:15 pm the server was very short and her demeanor was distasteful, after we ate dinner and reviewed the ticket we noticed that we were charged multiple times for drinks we asked why she stated in a loud rude tone that the yea and lemonade wasn’t free refills, I then stated I wasn’t aware she yelled “it’s on...Read full review
I ordered from outback tonight from 9701 North Freeway, Ft Worth, TX 76177. Order # 9000646650904579 It was the worst food I’ve had in years and I spend $1500-2000 a month eating out. First, my blooming onion was incredibly soggy and cold. It literally sat in a pool of grease and dropped and fell apart when I picked it up. My second complaint and...Read full review
Outback Steakhouse - Lumberton, NC - not Outback quality
My husband and I visited the Lumberton, NC Outback on 4/3/22 for dinner while travelling south on Rt 95.
First, we have eaten at Outback at various locations and NEVER had this problem. There was no beer on tap and according to another customer has been that way for over a year. We decided on ordering a bottle of beer and didn't ask price, but were astonished when we received our bill - Ultra - $5.00/bottle which makes it $120.00 a case - YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING.
Second - my husband order the cobb salad for $15.99 and was served a toss salad with a hard boiled egg sliced on top. Not how a cobb salad should come.
Third - I ordered a standard hamburger - bun was burned on the edges, hamburger was dry and actually tasted like it had been sitting around for hours before serving.
This is not the type of Outback we are accustomed to and we will not be returning on our future trips. To verify, our check was #0521 on 4/3/22.
Desired outcome: Since we were travelling and ate most of the food, we want Outback management to be aware of these problems at your Lumberton, NC restaurant.
We ate at your Albany, Ga restaurant last night. Our server was very pleasant taking our order (remembering what we wanted without writing anything down and got it right); we got our meals and NEVER saw our server again…. our drink glasses were empty for over 20 minutes when he stopped by and asked if we needed containers for leftovers. When we commented he...Read full review

Outback Steakhouse - Food
On Tuesday 03/22/22 both my husband and I decided to grab something to eat. We wanted a nice steak so we went to Outback Steakhouse in Bluffton SC we waited about 15 minutes which is understandable because of staffing.
Once we got to our table we ordered fried mushrooms which we get everywhere we go that has it. Never have we gotten mushrooms that looked and tasted like it did. They look like it was already cooked and dropped back into the grease to be warmed up. We could tell that it wasn’t fresh because it came out to quick and it was old and gritty.
We waited for our waitress to come back but she was nowhere to be found. The guy that brought out my salad said that he would find her for me. We sent that back and ask to have it removed off of our bill which it was.
Our steak just sat in the back because it came out cold anytime you order a steak you want it hot and fresh that wasn’t the case. I order a bake potato and it looked like it was 2 days old. It was dark brown and hard on the outside and the potato was brown and stuck to the skin in the inside. My husband said it look like it was cook for a while. Overall a really bad experience with the food.
I also ordered a blackberry sangria and it tasted like it was made days ago and the pineapple wasn’t fresh because it was soft and not firm.
Returning to Outback wouldn’t be my first choice and I wouldn’t recommend Outback in Bluffton to anyone i know. Really bad experience
Outback Steakhouse - Poor food/worst service ever. I apologize in advance. This is going to be a long message
On March 19 we went to outback to celebrate our son birthday. What started out as a celebration turned into the worst dining experience we have ever had. I have to admit that Outback was not our first choice we had actually went to Pedro's, Texas Roadhouse, Posados Cafe and Beaux Jax, but all of these restaurant were crazy busy. Customers were waiting all...Read full review
Outback Steakhouse - Take out meal, (2) filet mignon steaks
We have previously had wonderful takeout dining experiences. On our anniversary 12/1/2021 we had an excellent takeout dinner. We ordered basically the same meal, minus the dessert.
WE ARE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH OUR PURCHASE this evening March 21,2021. Check 161
2 Filet Mignon steaks, steamed vegetables, salad. $ 53.00 meal.
This was by far the worst steak we have had purchased from Outback. I was on time the steaks were dried out and tough. The steamed vegetables were no where near steamed. The website indicated baked potatoes were included with the Filet Mignon, no potatoes were provided. We would have ordered potatoes if we knew they were not included.

Desired outcome: Full refund, the meal was unacceptable. If this is not an option, please use your professional discretion.
I had dinner with my family yesterday evening at Outback Steakhouse on IKEA Blvd. in Charlotte NC. Around 9:09pm I went to exit the restaurant but fell on a wet floor beside the bar. There were no Wet Floor signs. No one to help me get up besides my companion. The waiter at least apologized and said he’d get the water cleaned up. I struggled to my feet and...Read full review
Outback Steakhouse - "Eat, Ern and Redeem" Account
To: Mr. Jim McVay
President & CEO Outback
Long story short: My girlfriend and myself and other friends eat at the Outback steakhouse in Clairemont Town Square, 4196 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA., 92117 at least once or twice a month.
Last night when I went there with four friends I asked to apply the credits from my "Eat-Earn-Redeem" account - I was told they expired and thus could not be used - My complaint is about a week ago when I went there with my girlfriend and I gave them my number to use (619-813-3097) they said I had credits to use but what we did instead we used the AARP 10% discount - HOWEVER, the waiter NEVER told me that the credits would expire in a few days, if I knew that of course I would have used the credits from my "Eat-Earn-Redeem" account. Thus I am requesting that you reinstall the credits I had on my account so I can use them on my next meal - again, my complaint is that I should have been advised by the waiter that if I didn't use the credits they would expire.
Hopefully you understand my complaint and grant me my request.
For your information last night we had a party of four at table #25 and the bill shows a time of 6:49 PM in and 7:53 PM out (3/10/22), 0132c, SvrCk:14 - total Gross check without tip was $198.50.
Looking forward to a favorable response,
