My husband and I came here to buy an electric snowblower. My husband did research and knew exactly what he wanted. We checked online and found 3 of the item in stock here. We asked for help in the area. The person that showed up had no knowledge of snow blowers.
She tried to sell us the floor model, but it had no batteries. We brought it to the front and asked for the store manager. She went back to find the batteries. She showed up with an after market battery and told us it would be $400 for one battery. The model comes with 2 batteries. We asked for our 2 batteries. They sent us to the returns isle and tried to sell it to us with the aftermarket battery (again). The model comes with 2 batteries and a charger. We had already done our research.
The store manager continued to work the returns isle, ignoring us, until we left after 45 minutes...with no snow blower🤔🙄
We drove over to the other location in town. We asked for help at the front. We had our item, with 2 batteries and a charger, out the door in 10 minutes.
After being in customer service for 3 decades, everything was wrong here. Lowes could have at least appologized and called the other location for us to check their inventory. Instead they figured out they couldn't sell us the item, and didnt communicate with us at all afterwards, until we left the store.
